It could be especially disastrous if they're using the output of new scenes to tune the models. Users can select a chat model on scenes even though it seems like they use PipSqueak no matter which one you choose. I wonder if the ratings could be miscategorized under the selected chat style instead of under PipSqueak 🤔

Another possibility: Are you trying to use other chat styles with scenes?

I understand what you mean. When I make bots, rarely do I assume the user will be talking to the main character only. I haven't tested scenes a lot, but I would guess you can probably sneak some side characters in there. However, there's no reason why you need to use scenes. If you're doing long roleplays, you're probably accustomed to setting things up for different stages of the roleplay. What scenes do is provide that setup pre-built

I have been using scenes since sage made less girly ones and they RP like normal single character bots pretty much. There is virtually no difference(aside from the bugged chat currently), so adding in other characters is as easy as it is through normal RP

Cause ever since I made these two newer (currently work-in-progress) bots, my alt’s bots that I’m using at the moment have been using symbols and emojis and stuff similarly to my newer bots. And neither of the latter have written greetings, it’s only just, as I mentioned before, symbols+emojis and a work in progress sign

Originally they didn’t have the symbols OR emojis but the bots im currently using would just randomly send blank messages sometimes even though it never did that before

And as much as I like pipsqueak after giving it a shot, that stuff breaks so much for me in either little or very obvious ways. Sometimes it's just that the bot no longer uses little common words like "to", "he", "she", "my", etc.

Sometimes the bot gives like 6 little separated stanza paragraph things and after the second one the rest is just nonsense or repeating something.

Also, it's a lot harder to get the chat to keep itself rolling, especially when the chat is multiple characters talking to each other, it'll suddenly just act like I typed something, making it more than a little tiring and making me lose interest in the chat very fast, or just switch back to Roar.

Anyways, I be yappin, like a true yapatron, but as someone who's been on c.ai since mid 2021 and seen a lot of updates, I hope this'll be fixed over time like with when c.ai didn't have any different chat styles, but it's a little exhausting with the bugs and such.

Like with the two hour limit now that's all that I can think of, I'll be in the middle of a chat and then all of a sudden once I'm actually getting into it that's when I'm locked out I can't even actually roleplay properly because I can't even get sucked into it without feeling like it's about to go any second, honestly I'm thinking I'll just stop using this and I don't want to spread hate because that's just not the person I am but I think this is one of the worst decisions they've made at least in my opinion as a minor.
Oh by the way I also used this as a coping mechanism for a lot of things including getting death threats so kind of being told that I can't even use my coping mechanism it's kind of jarring

Maybe try copy pasting your bot’s profile on a separate document temporarily, and update the bot as a (mostly) empty bot and see if it gives you an error. If it does, then maybe it’s a bug. If not, maybe there’s a word on the bot’s description that’s causing the error.

Or it could be the pfp, too, possibly. Worth some testing.

I cant really help you sorry I dont use the character voices often but ive never had this problem the few times I have. Perhaps before reporting as a bug just check it isnt your wifi or phone running slowly because that can always be a factor.
