That is what I do. The AI still does make mistakes, especially when I try to shorten anything in my descriptions. I would type out my persona's appearence at the beginning of a roleplay, but then it messes up the bot's entrance and the rest of the roleplay, and it still does make mistakes.

Also something worth mentioning, don't put a lore/background in your persona description as it barely affects the rp. Also you could describe your persona in a trait like format instead of detailed description like:

For example, I have a persona who very clearly states that a mask covers her face completely; nothing is visible at all, yet the bots I talk with always describe her face, or something similar to that. I used GPT to shorten the persona description, which I went back to edit, over and over, yet it still made the same mistakes, and I cannot add more text without deleting other important details.
