• Try changing chat styles and back. (IDK if this will help but I've seen people say it solved various problems for them recently)
• See if you can edit or swipe to keep it not playing your character for a while. Hopefully it breaks the pattern.
• If it's your own bot, it can help to have example messages that depict multiple characters interacting.

Rewind to when it was good and continue from there. Only choose replies where the AI is playing other characters and not yours. The AI in CAI starts to pick up patterns after a few replies, so just don't continue it.

The first thing I would do is make a backup and see if you can save it when all of its settings are empty as much as possible (you might need to include spaces or underscores in some of them to meet minimum length requirements). Once you confirm that, you can start trying to move things back in.
