It depends. If you're making a character as a creative endeavor, then it's senseless to have AI write the whole thing. However, if you're making a character solely because you want to interact with it, then it would make sense to have AI do as much of it as it can.

There used to be a bug where half of the bots in your recent chats would disappear and you would have to just send a message to any bot in the list to get all of the other bots back. Maybe you can try that, if it's the same bug?

If the character you were chatting with still in your chat list. You can go to it's menu then history and above on the right side there is small box where it has the archived chats you archived. But if you mean that your character isn't at all in chat list you probably pressed "hide character" so it's gone from your chat list but you can get it back if you still know the name of the character

Casual c.ai tendencies on display tbh, it's more of a model issue. All I can say is rewind to a message before the issue first started, messaging them continuously trying to fix it yourself usually tends to make it worse. You gotta get to the source and lop it off, it's like a zombie bite lmfao
