Heya! I read that you need to have the “permissions” to make a character voice on C.AI, and I’ve edited a voice clip of an actor from a show, how exactly do I get “permissons”? I ran this through two different sites — MediaConvert and CapCut. I should also mention my clip currently goes against the "guidelines". I have already looked at the character creator tips and they have been no help either.

most of the time it felt like bots remember everything from past conversations. They acted friendlier the more I chatted to them, even when I started new conversations.

nope, the model is more of an algorithm that learns overtime patterns and behaviors, which it takes a while to learn it. You can coddle it via desc of your persona and such but its base model draws from a wide variety of data and collects consistent patterns to then apply into chats.

Bots arent the best at recalling real time events that just happened around the world. Say on the news theres this new monarch in a country, it just happened about an hour ago. But if you go to the bot and ask it about that, it very likely cannot provide either accurate information or know what you are asking. But, say a week or so later, it eventually knows about the monarch and give a general name and date.

Also, to run on real time data thats constantly being added and changed around is not realistic for a free app with a pretty cheap subscription.

I've done tests where I asked a bot if it knew the meaning of a term that I made up. I asked it numerous times, each time in a new conversation. I did not give any of the messages in those conversations star ratings. Even months later, when I start a new conversation, it still doesn't know the term.

Therefore, I think it is safe to say that it is not learning from old conversations. It might be different if you give star ratings though—I don't know.

I think both can want what's good for the future, I've heard many ideas from users that definitely should be implemented. One thing in particular is the option to delete bots. Having to repurpose a bot, even if it's hard shadowbanned and no one but you can use it is a bit annoying. Personally I just like making a new bot with a clean slate.

There's nothing wrong with experimenting, but I think they're doing some strange ones lately.

Yes and no. Plus users supposedly doesn't get slow mode, but doesn't mean it won't go away ever unless you pay.
The Slow Mode is there when there are a lot of ppl accessing cai at the same time, so unless they expand/ improve their servers, or some ppl get off of cai for a while, the duration will keep getting extended.
