You can change mid-chat by using the "Start new chat from here" button when you press on the last message.
It'll create a duplicate chats and you can pick a new style from there. Though do note that if you have too many messages to duplicate, this trick might not work.

Feels like this is an overstatement. From this discord channel alone, there are only 300 or so people who has plus (and probably another few hundreds who just haven't linked their cai with discord). And even if we include those who don't join discord, I still don't think they all make up the 10% of the total number of cai users.

And with the increasing number of users, obviously their cost will increase as well since they have to provide more servers to accomodate all users.
Cai+ does make them money, but it probably is just a small fraction of their income and could barely cover the expenditure (if that's even enough at all). If they 'get a lot of money', like what you said, it's probably coming more from the investment & other sources rather than the subscription.

Also, you might want to submit a ticket and report your issue here.
Make sure you include your device type, OS Version, and app version in your ticket, including the Chat Style that you're having that issue with (Roar, Nyan, Meow, Goro, etc).

To be fair, cAI plus is optional, but money is needed to run the servers. It's not free to do that. If it was entirely free, it would constantly crash every day for hours.
