The website is not so affected for everyone, it is working normally for me, I have long messages from the bots, the only problem is that the message "receiving slower responses" appears below the bot's response and appears for 50 minutes.

According to what I see in the character ai status, the problem was being investigated at 11:28 (although it depends on the time of the country you are in) and then it says that the problem has been resolved at 11:45 but idk which issue they were solving, there are several that are happening now. 🐧

That message won't go away even if you want it to. Heavy messages are slowing down the servers and we have to wait for them to fix that too,while they are working through the load.

Nobody knows when the issue will be fixed. Fixing bugs normally takes days or even weeks, depending on the complexity and how quick they find the cause of the issue.

Hi everyone, I really need help.

My original Character.AI account suddenly stopped working properly. The bots I chatted with started acting really weird—sending unfinished sentences, emojis, and totally random words. I made a new account just to test things, and it works fine. But I really need my old account back because I had all my saved chats and characters there.

I submitted three support tickets (the first was #757139), but it’s been hours and I still haven’t gotten a reply. I’m starting to feel super frustrated and helpless. I even saved and copied the weird chats to show that it’s not just a small bug.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there any mod or staff who can help escalate this? I’d really appreciate any advice or response.

A lot of ppl tend to spread misinformation based on what they heard from other ppl who's also just as clueless, so don't trust them.

They usually don't respond back to tickets unless it's related to payment issue, bcs the tickets most likely do not go to the customer support, but to the devs team.

If you've already sent a ticket, then all you can do is wait patiently until they fix it. Your issue is something that has been going on for a while to other ppl as well, so they're most likely still working on a fix. Just give them some time.

If you have login issue, try these one by one until you find one that works. Might work:
■ Switch to mobile data (don't use wifi) on your phone and see if it fixes it
■ Reinstall your app/ clear your browser's cache/cookies
■ If you:

• Have VPN/adblocker/adguard and they're ON, turn them off
• Don't have VPN, try using one. Someone recommended ProtonVPN before, or you can use other free VPN if you want

If none of the above works, go send a ticket and pray they fix it soon.

Other things you guys can try, if you're accessing the website using pc/ laptop, try accessing one using your mobile browser and use mobile data to access cai site. See if it works fine from the mobile or not.
If it is, then the problem is most likely from your wifi.
