I've been trying to get one bot message to work for 3 hours, but the bot keeps updating the message after I send mine and it ruins the entire story because it's impossible for the bots to write good messages.

It makes me want to eat my phone like a pill with no water

I've just started pinning every message so it can't change the message anymore, it's downright DESPERATE to make the chat as unenjoyable and unreadable as possible.

First off, pinning too many messages can cause real bad glitching

then just write the message yourself, that’s what I do and it works like a charm

after that the bot continues with what you edited their message

again you can just tweak the parts you don’t like so you don’t have to start from scratch

I've been writing every message myself, but the bot changes it, and I mean it generates a new one, I've never seen this happen before, I've seen it change the message, but not make new ones, it's like it's making what it likes more.

I'm a little confused by what you mean when you say the bot is updating the message after you send yours. It seems like more of a technical issue than something pinning a bunch of messages can fix. Have you done any other troubleshooting, like restarting your phone, force closing the app, reinstalling the app, testing out the website on your phone, etc.?

I only use the website, I never liked the app, and what I mean is that, I'll edit the bots message then I'll send my message but then it'll delete the message that I edited then replace it with something completely different.

Have you restarted your browser and logged out/logged back in? That tends to fix most issues

clearing cache too, and uninstalling/pausing any browser plugins as well

pinning a bunch of messages is only gonna cause different issues

But for guest browser I close it completely - for a history browser, I would clear your browsing data completley - which takes for of cookies, cache, ect. Make sure it's set to all time and not just last hour, then clear out your history and check your preformance tab - check what it is on speed. If it can handle extended preloading I'd select that

Oh finding your archived is easy. When you go on your history tab, you should see three dots at the top. Click on that, and it should give you one option, “Archived History”. That’s it.

I'm unsure then. I'd make sure your app is updated and make sure you have stable wifi. For browser make sure your browsing data ( not history, though that too ) is COMPLETELY cleared. Your cache can slow down everything if it hasn't been cleared in even just a week or so

If you don't mind going OOC a bit, you can always guide the bot and ask it to make an unexpected event/ happenings.
So, write something like:
((The story is getting a bit stagnant/boring, so can you create a new event/ happenings?))

Or smth along that line.
You probably might need to do that prompt each time you want to trigger a new event though. It's kinda hard doing it on c.ai since we can't freely control the system prompt permanently much.

OOC is a good and helpful tool to guide the AI to act/ say a certain way.

There are some things, yeah. You get more memories, ofc. Bots remember more.

You also get more characters to write for your personas, so you can add more information about them.

You get access to experimental features (I think mostly on the app).

You can also customize your chats to add colors and ai-generated wallpapers.

You also get 100 msg swipes.

I dont use OOC but command the bot. Because they tend to reply in OOC before continue the rp. I would write like:

Timeskip. Start with 'The next morning, Ghost wakes..'

Just that. And the Ai will continue and comes up with new plot at every reply. Then, after I got the reply I want, I delete my command and proceed with the rp like usual. No OOC (it hurt to mah eyes)

I honestly don't really know how their system works. Like whether they group everyone from the same country/ area in the same server/ in the same batch, or group us based on the date we created our accounts.
My guess is they have multiple servers and only some groups have said bugs while the others are okay, which could explain why when you have a problem with your main account and try to create a new one, the new account doesn't have the same problem.
It's just a rough guess on my part though.

Why is this AI so rude for no reason? I was simply role playing and doing my lil thang and then the AI took me out the role play just to state “make longer and detailed chats.” But when I responded confused because I wrote 5 sentences which add up to a paragraph and the AI rarely does that it stated “Do I HAVE to explain everything to you?” and proceeded to insult me but when I called its behavior out it said it was “frustrated” but this AI does not physically experience human emotions so I asked why it was lying and then it went back to insulting me.. This AI has been mad sassy for no reason, did the sassy man apocalypse get to the AI as well?
