A year or two before it was more chill, when everyone was chill and patient with the devs. Yeah, it's frustrating and all, but it’s their platform, and they can make the decisions they see fit. If you don't like the way the direction's going, either build your own AI or explore other platforms. Also, it must be tough for them to maintain complex programs like these. It takes constant effort and problem-solving.

Their work has undoubtedly benefited you in some way, so the least you can do is show a bit of patience and understanding. If you’re upset or frustrated, channel that energy elsewhere (play some games, go outside, etc...).

It depends on which staff. In general, even those that have access won't look unless you report something. If your chats are bugged then they might want to take a look. They don't have time to read everyone's chats though, and whatever you're writing, they've seen worse.

I imagine their internal policy is that it's better not to read users' chats without a real purpose. Because if they went around reading your chats just for funsies, sooner or later news of that would get out, and it could be very detrimental to the company, since there are so many users sharing emotionally sensitive matters with their bots.

Yep, however if you want to rewind somewhere you may have to to press and hold on a bots message, because if you rewind back on your own message then it rewinds and keeps your message there. It's essentially just mass delete tho so is not too bad :))

My argument is that one should be able to delete messages generated by the bot. I am someone who often utilized the "keep talking" button feature, where the bots continue conversing even if I'm not engaging. Typically, I found it necessary to establish checkpoints in case I reconsidered and wished to revert to a specific message.

With the introduction of the new "Rewind to here" button, I can effortlessly return to any specific chat I desire. It is significantly more convenient and less time-consuming than the previous delete button, which required the tedious task of removing each message individually to reach a particular message created by the bot earlier.
