Here is a advice for you guys who wants to learn english, coming from a brazilian that learned it from 0: Cartoons for kids are excellent for beginners, it dont have slangs and its meant to say the most correct and ponctual way possible, since it was designed to kids, they need to do whit the most formal and correct way of the word. Cartoons like Spongebob, Ben 10 and etc. After you learned the basics of To Be Verb, you can migrate on seeing english channels on Youtube, there will be slangs and informal ways to communicate, perfect for someone intermidiate/advanced as i do. Dont forget to always train your way to speak as well, its easier to learn.

On cartoons ones, you can do it in two ways: At first define the cartoon to be on YOUR language and the subtitles in english, so you will learn what word is related to, after a while you can do the inverse where the cartoon speak english and the subs are your language. And remember, learning an new language demands time and effort, i'm learning english for years using this method and even i can make mistakes that can bleed the eyes of the natives so, dont be so harsh on yourself, take your time and keep going.
