It’s because C.ai was founded by very talented people who were and still are leading figures in AI development. The software is proprietary’s iirc which also means other services can’t just copy C.ai’s code.

The reason no other service gets close is because C.ai is the MVP, every other service has to study it and try and guess what they did right.

There are arguments to be made that open sourcing it would quicken development but i disagree, i think it’d become a ticking time bomb

For at least a month, maybe longer, the bots I chat with don’t send messages correctly. I don’t know if this is a universal issue but it sends the first message fine but doesn’t type the second message, I have to reset the chat and then it acts as if it’s typing the first message before making the second one appear.

Idk about you guys, but I feel like C.AI is better for speed, and shorter responces. I've tried to make bots on Janitor, but when I do, its repetetive, and I cant exactly afford a better API.

And secondly, sometimes the bot responces are so long that they ask you like, three questions in one message. Kind of annoying, but at least they dont say "Can I ask you a question"

But uh, yeah. Its for 18+. Which kind of sucks, as is FAR better for roleplaying violence, and things other then..The..Y'know.
