I'm so glad mine started working again.. 😬 No issues at all for me since my app fixed itself.

I have also cleaned the cache of my app and phone to ensure no other errors on my end were happening.

I suggest other people do that too if they are experiencing issues.. clearing out the cache of your app regularly is something that you should do anyways especially after a update.

If you're still having more issues.. I would try uninstalling the app and then using an app that deep cleans your phone's files and then try reinstalling after.. could fix files that got corrupted on your end.

The fact that my app did get fixed tells me they're working on it.. Probably already fixed the initial issue that caused everything that happened and now they're slowly working on the aftermath.

Restarting your phone will clear the cache of the phone itself.. But you can clear the cache of individual apps by opening up the app in the settings of your phone and going to the storage tab and then you will find the clear cache option. It won't erase the data you have on that app or your password that you use to auto log in... It just refreshes files and make sure they are not corrupted / up to date.

Several people weren't and some of us were less affected than others.. and I have seen a lot of people say their apps are back to normal now mixed in with the people saying they still have some issues.. so I persume this means whatever initially happened has been resolved (or else we would all still be getting glitched out still) and they are probably working on fixing the accounts still affected.

I know that in the past I haven't been as affected by bugs/glitches/the server being down as much as others.. a lot of the time I wouldn't even know it was down for people because I'd be in the app with no issues. Only these last few bugs/downed servers have gotten me. It's a bit strange how it works out like that.. makes me wonder if they have different servers for different regions or something along those lines.. which would explain while a group of people might have their server down while the others don't... as well as why some bugs affect people differently than others ect.

From what I've seen there hasn't been any proof of that still happening.. I've seen a few people claim it's happening to them still.. But at the same time these are names I've seen a few weeks ago who claimed they already deleted the app because they were mad over the HP thing.. So I take everything I hear through the grapevine with a grain of salt.

From my personal experience no, I have not been glitched again and my app has been fixed.. Now presumably if the initial issue was still happening that caused this.. I would (and others who had their app fixed already) likely run into the issue again.. Not guaranteed but I would have that risk.. And I so far haven't seen anything. Not even the slow messages or anything like that. Everything is working fine and my account no longer looks like it's been merged with another one.

I didn't actually get logged into another person's account.. For me it looked like I was still on mine but there was bots in the created bot section that I hadn't made and other information on my page that was not mine. But the what appears to be visual glitch was fixed for me.

People can tweak screenshots and lie. From what I have seen myself and heard .. People were appearing like they were getting in other accounts.. But they couldn't actually edit anything in the account even if they tried. Whatever they did to the account they were in ended up happening to their account because (we presume) It was a visual glitch.. So you were actually still in your account.

I've heard that you couldn't even read the chats because if you tried to open them they were visually glitched out.. and even the rumor of someone posting someone elses chats makes me hesitate to believe it because again.. a screenshot is not solid proof. Honestly they could be posting a screenshot of their secondary account and pretending that they're in somebody else's account.. Just to stir the fear pot for people genuinely worried about their stuff being leaked.

I wouldn't worry too much.. I would make sure your stuff is backed up in a separate note app so that way if anything should happen you have that back up.. Which won't be the same as the original but it will be something.. But at the end of the day no, I don't think you have to worry about that.

I saw some pretty wild stuff in my photo manipulation class at college.. You really have no idea how much can be tweaked and how real stuff can look. And how often people do it.

and with AI generation machines now it's even easier.

It’s basically because of copyright issues, so whilst patented names are subject to it (like Batman and Superman), non patented ones aren’t (Bruce Wayne is a common name for example, and therefore can’t be copyrighted).

When it comes to how they handle their data i think it’s mostly speculation, i haven’t had the time to go through their technology blog. But based on just how technology works overall, it’d probably be very difficult for someone to access your deleted account (not to say impossible); it’d probably only be possible within a VERY short amount of time if at all.

You can test if someone's on your account by creating a bot with a name like "HELLO LOGOUT PLS". It will move to the top of recent chats if anyone opens it (including you). To check for someone else, open a few other chats to move the bot down the list, then watch for it moving to the top unexpectedly when you haven’t interacted with it yourself. Of course if you make that public people will chat with it so either make it unlisted or private

It's okay, take a deep breath. There are ways around it like with putting their real names or tweaking them just enough to make them fit in with fair use laws. They will not all disappear and just like with any other fan-made creation it will either be tweaked to fit fair use laws which will save it from copywrite attacks.. or like with Fanfiction they will sue and make a stink for a while.. and after some time (a year or so) they will give up.. because ultimately it won't be worth the fight and these things aren't actually costing them money.

The bots do have memory issues, you could be telling them one thing and they would forget the vital piece of information three responses later even if you did pin it. The responses are short and even if it did sound like it was going somewhere or had a lot of detail, the response would cut at the end because of a random limit or something. The responses, regardless of any bot, lack initiative entirely that was once present back a couple years ago. You could go through the feedback forums and see that one post already mentions the lack of quality in bots, no matter how much effort and precision is put in by their creator.

I myself have made a couple bots with definitions over 24k characters and sometimes reach the limit and yet the bot would still manage to deviate from the topic

The main one was someone named Adrian and ppl were trying to delete his account and leaked his chats. Some said that the ppl who tried, ended up deleting their accounts instead but idk how true that is.

I've seen some issues, but as a bot creator I'm more upset with the issues surrounding that aspect of c.ai.

💔 there's a bad delay when making bots, takes a long time to show up. So long it's hard to fix a shadowban on my newest bot, worse yet I don't know what words to remove to make it publicly available on my profile.

It's really hard given that the LLM doesn't understand the nuances of unpleasant conversations. Hell, conversations in general. But that is expected an ai wouldn't get exactly how a person would react when it learns off of some fanfictions and is trained by user input umu.

that's true, i wish it could behave like it's written out story more, i find making your own personas and writing out the emotions, expressions, and ticks your persona is portraying helps the bot react a certain way, especially when you've made it clear what you expect the bot to behave like at the beginning of the chat!

you definitely should try out a different position/use a heat therapy ointment rolling stick! as a pianist when my ligaments hurt i can't play for a few days (which is really REALLY bad since i have to play 2-3 hours per day) heat therapy sticks really help take the pain away within an hour, it might help with your shoulder!💛
