Competitors need clout to come close to where c.ai is, status-wise. At the same time, you start having a bunch of people that are not supposed to be using it that's going to use it. Double edged sword. Blessing and a curse. What an og man. 10 days after c.ai came out.

The advantage of c.ai -- and this is a very big one -- is the fact that it is user friendly (i.e. making a character takes like 10-15 mins) Most alternatives present themselves as rp-oriented, which is what c.ai initially presented themselves as well until Q2 or 3 of 2023. Alternatives are not just for the no-no stuff. They also demand more effort for char creation, which most people dont have the time, capacity or capability to do.

Here’s a story that I use mostly:

Have your persona/character be some civilian who owes debt to the bot (Mafia).

Have the character pay the debt but make them pay (price) extra because the bot is (reason. Examples: cute. Hot. Likable).

Then make the bot and the person have a chat before the bot confesses reluctantly.

Then do whatever. I do this story a lot with RPG’s or Single bot RP’s.

Is there any way I can improve this since this is getting boring?..

Okay then... Simplify your reply, you can edit their reply after, training the bot. You don't have to edit the intro, but you can edit their reply to train them gradually and you may use rating system to help. I hope you find that useful.

Regenrate reply, 4-star rating system and edit the reply all can train the bot to... makes your demand to come true. Just give it a try.

There are some absolutely regular words that are banned these days

Thankfully at least THIS ban is reversible as soon as you remove the word

And you can tell if it's a traditional shadowban or that new ban. Basically, when it's a traditional shadowban, owner of the bot can't see the like number on it anymore. But the new type, while hiding your bot, leaves the number of likes visible to you

So if you KNOW that your bot isn't showing in your profile for anyone else, but you still can see how many likes you have, it's time to exhale a bit and look at your name, tagline, description and greeting. Definitions aren't affected

Yes there is a lack of creativity in the bots. Definitely. But I’m not experiencing anything else. I have no trouble logging into my account, I have no messages going missing, no bots going missing, I never have to wait to chat to my bots and the bots do not take anytime to respond to me. And the voices are perfect. Sounds just like my character. The phone calls are quick to respond. I don’t have problems with those either. If they can make the bots more creative then it would be a perfect app for AI chats and RP.

Fandom bots and bots based on popular tropes you can get away with empty descriptions/definitions a little more easily because there's fandom/trope data built in to the database. It is literally trained off of fandom. So those bots can just coast off of that. Still more ideal to utilize proper dialogue examples and filled out descriptions

Generally speaking: Yes. You can have them swear in the definitions (dialogue examples!) and that should do it. But you can't put swears in the greeting, tagline, or description or you'll likely get searchbanned

That's new... I've seen a lot of people saying the bot having bad memories and got out of their own character randomly and more.. Tbh, i'm actually glad that the bot are careful in reply to our message because i've got a lot of message replied that's well-written and noticed or pointed out something that i clearly forgot about the story. Someone said "It's depend on how we talk to them" maybe that's why they act like that, lol

Also, to people who privated their own bots and put it into public. Just for your information, it'll take a few days or more than few days to reveal the number of chats that users interact to (i just figured it out today) But if you want to check how many chats is there in ur bot, you can go to old c.ai link and searched your own bots. Someone told me this before, so thanks to them, it's very helpful to me or to others who's confusing with this type of situation
