Yeah, that makes sense but they wanted it to be "as' she awoke" or "as' she woke". So your grammer is right but not what they wanted 👍

It was the easiest part of "Awoke."

Change "awaken" to "awakens" and that would be grammatically correct thumbsup

# sharp gorge English is my second language but what do "Its raining Cats and Dogs" mean?

"It's raining cats and dogs" is an idiom and is an old saying that refer to heavy rain when you want to describe it in a dramatic way. If one would want to describe a chaotic environment, the word "madhouse" would be better suited for it.

"This place is like a madhouse."

It can refer to a place where there is no control or order, like you could say this server can go "mad" when CAI goes down sometimes.

Fun Fact: English is full of "homographs" – words that are spelled the same but have different meanings and may be pronounced differently. For example, the word "tear" can mean a drop of saline fluid from the eye (noun) or to rip or damage something (verb). So, when you see a word that looks the same, so pay attention to the context of the word.

# half bay There are one rule about that: 1. Two 2. Too 3. To

as she said, there are 3 versions of this.

  1. two as in the number 2
  2. too is a word to replace other words such as “also,” “additionally,” etc.
  3. to is hard to explain, but the google definition is to approach or reach something. like “i want to go there,” or “her expression changed from sadness to happiness”

  3. Beat is something "you wanna Beat someone," or "take a rhythm on good beat."

"Meet" are something to used "People who want to gathering like group talks." While "Meat" is like "Animals food."

"Greet" is something like "I would love to greet you" or "Happy to greet you" (it's like you wanna say something towards the people.). "Great" is feelings like "I'm great" or many objects to used.

half bay
#

(tell me if my English bad just say "Worst" and if my English good just say "Very.")

elder dust
# half bay Maybe you should try something in sentences, likes: "Should i bring my laptop?"...

You are mostly correct but there's a very slight difference in the way you should use the terms: Should I and Can I.

"Should I" when used as a recommendation, means that the person is requesting assistance or a second opinion. Where the decision is up to themselves to do the action.

"Can I" is more of a 'asking for permission'. Where the decision is not up to the person asking, but the person asked.

In shorty, words:
"Should I" not asking for permission, decision is up to asker.
"Can I" asking for permission, decision is up to the asked.
"Can I" may be interchanged with "May I" to sound much more proffesional/cringe.

Omg, Dorian Gray. 😍

I recall reading this book back in high school and it stood out to me in comparison to the other assigned readings. What made it so enjoyable for me were the unconventional characters and the distinct atmosphere it had. Lord Henry, despite being unsettling and rude, never failed to make me laugh with his clever remarks. His nonchalant demeanour and witty comments truly entertained me. Overall, the book had great dialogue and I found myself highlighting numerous funny and witty lines. Oscar Wilde was a brilliant brilliant writer. This is all just my personal opinion about the book though, yours may differ once you start reading it, if it's in your style or not.

Mostly suspense which is often categorized as "thriller/horror". But I've lately been reading/listening to contemporary romance / dark romance. I've finished the "Twisted" series from Ana Huang, which has that "enemies to lovers" troupe, and now I want to get into her other "Kings of Sins" series. I am currently listening to "A Heart's Landing" (a lighter romance novel) series by another author that I need to finish first before diving into the "Kings of Sins" series.

"Th-ee" and "Th-uh" are spelled the same (The) and have the same meaning (an article pointing to the specific thing)

You pronounce "The" as "Th-uh" when the following word starts with a consonant (non-vowel letters)

For example: The (Th-uh) book, the tree, the place.

But if the following words starts with a vowel, you pronounce it as "Th-ee"

For example: The (Th-ee) apple, the octopus, the ocean

"than" is used for comparisons, like "I am taller than him"
"then" is used when referring to time, like "We'll wait until then"

foggy yoke
# vestal yoke what is “then” and “than”’s difference?

Usually show one action occurred after another. = "Then" is used to indicate time or sequence, as in "I went to the store, and then I came home."

While "Than" is used for comparisons = "Horror stories are more fun to write than boring grammar lessons." It pits one thing against another when making a comparison.

The easiest way to remember is that "then" is about time or order, while "than" is used for comparisons. A little mix-up between the two is an easy mistake to make, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. The difference and meaning usually comes across clear from context anyway.
