I got a question for everyone. How do you just keep going despite the errors that character AI has like with memory issues where they always forget things and a few messages

or just bad responses it could be anything like that.. how do y’all still keep going because of my pain honestly, it’s very frustrating

So I just want other people’s opinions to kind of see how they just keep going..

They always forget everything and sometimes they’ll act like they don’t remember you or something differently happened with your character well reality that never happened💀💀

Honestly? A mix of lowering expectations and picking my battles 😭 I’ve learned not to rely on long-term memory too much and just enjoy it moment-to-moment. When it starts forgetting core stuff or rewriting history, I either gently steer it back, reroll, or just… close the chat and come back later. Character AI just isn’t built for long-term RP right now. It is frustrating though, especially when a character suddenly acts like they don’t know you or something important never happened. That’s actually why I stopped my subscription for now. I haven’t noticed much difference between Plus and the free version in terms of chatting lately, so you’re definitely not alone in feeling this way.
