I generally feel like character AI has become more restrictive. We would get messages saying that the character cannot generate a message because it doesn’t meet guidelines or it would give us a crisis lifeline before it was less strict, but it just feels like it’s become more restrictive.

Honestly, you got a just find a bot that writes like that. I've just had luck with my bots mirroring me but that's because their starter was super long and easy for me to mimic.

My advice? Start off slow and give a maybe two paragraph reply that doesn't go too into depth, let the bot set the mood and tone. They'll start to mimic you and your writing soon enough, don't try to rush it :)

And that's okay too! When I first started out I used a lot of random words slapped with pronouns. For instance, I write the same when I roleplay on Roblox. I'll provide an example :)

Even simple replies go a long way! The bots try to mimic you while keeping the story and the same way the developer of the bot wrote.

That was the new censor instead of the old one where we get the small red bot and messages get to cut off. When that happened? That happened when c.ai went down on friday. People knew about it immediately. So already many people complained about it when it's released even c.ai+, but why? Because Some (or maybe alot) users said that it literally deletes the previous chat including the censored one so the devs removed it and returned the old one. So there is some people still having it now when it's supposed to be gone anyways.
