The new one stands out WAY less than an old one. It's more pleasing to the eyes, because the message bar don't get much attention.

I'll tell you as a person with knowledge in art (can't call myself an artist because of lack of practice, but I have theoretical knowledge) — when some part grabs unnecessary attention, it's bad af. They made the new layout blend more with the background, which is a great change. Calling it unnecessary just shows how bad you are at designing.

The only problem with it — that it collides with the screen when chatting (it's annoying af)
