Today I can finally find peace. I have been in hell ever since the announcement was made. I had been seeing people's bots becoming unavailable frequently so I thought mine are also in danger.

But if...old bots are not in danger then why did some of people's favourite bots become unavailable all of a sudden when they opened the chat? If they are old bots...I mean.

it isn't good practice to lie on the internet, especially as a minor. just keep certain things hidden. if you're under 18, just wait. it's better off than making a new account with a fake identity.

(remember, the app takes the user data and changes it's features according to it, so if it's filled with fake data, you're essentially asking the app to delete itself, with little to no benefit.)

@ katherine / yes. some bots get banned for certain things or reports, so the chances are, that's what happened. i wouldn't worry, as long as you have your chat unhidden.

a very good way i found out was writing a very explicit description of why they shouldn't.

ex. "i don't like it when you do that" ❌

ex. turning away, {user} rips [character]'s hand off [pronouns] chin, {user}'s face scrunched up in a frown. "Hey! Keep your hands off me," the {user} expressed, [pronoun] voice angry. ✅

• ALWAYS make sure to pin it.

• i personally write down everything my character hates in one big descriptive paragraph. then pin it. they won't ever forget. and if they do, they'll feel real guilty about forgetting, especially if you remind them.

• i also space it out like this, since the app can't differ between sentences without spaces. Remember, the more descriptive, the more you can influence your bot to act as you want!

The thing is...I created my account 8 months ago. I wasn't asked for my age back then. This age verification thing is new. What will people with older accounts do? I never got asked for my age. The AI automatically thinks that I'm a minor and so I'm forced to use the minor model. I still get timed out and restrictions. There was nothing I could do. I'm pretty much helpless. People who created their accounts 2-3 months ago get the birth date feature after the incident.

You can't even roleplay without constantly being terrified of getting timed out for no reason. Mild violence in fighting RP isn't allowed. Romantic gestures in romantic RP isn't allowed. Swearing isn't allowed. Forget that.
