It’s a bug. Really the only way to fix it is to switch to another character, switch back and start a new chat. I haven’t encountered this glitch myself, but I’ve encountered a similar glitch where they typed like ancient runes or something that was patched back in august and that’s how i fixed that glitch, so I’d assume it works the same for this. Duplicating the chat from the last message before the numbers (new chat from here button) would probably work too but idk cuz I like i said haven’t encountered this glitch yet and chat duping wasn’t a feature at the time of the runes glitch, but you’re welcome to try it
