Also Japanese has a rare vowel. Assuming English is your primary language, try making the "oo" sound. If you do that, you'll have "rounded" lips. The Japanese version of this sound (Written in Romanji with "u") is pronounced the same, but with "unrounded" lips, so basically "flat" lips.
