note: the example css code to change variables for messagebar contains 2 things for toolbox
its only a name issue- if you replace toolbox with messagebar the css variables do exist
also seemingly doesn't match up with the default options which isn't necessarily bad just confusing
this section would imply that runright is the default if you don't apply anything

i can think of a better one for sleeping since the sleeping animation is meant to be lying down on whatever element oneko is standing on

added stroke to the Zs and added another sitting one but not sure I like it, just looks weird so I think I'm gonna scrap the sitting ones
dunno if I should put the hissing ones there or use standing ones and make her do a little shig dance
also now I changed the stroke color to match the artstyle
I might use random standing ones for the scratch animations because what the hell am I gonna put in those otherwise

you dont need to make fitting animations if you cant, i can just add a notice that for example scratchleft wont be scratching with shiggy
if you wanna add a shigging animation, you can double your canvas to the bottom and make it 256x256

why aren't the animation background-positions all divisible by 32
I expected to just fit the images in these boxes and it would work but no you just had to throw in a few random offsets

they are all divisible by 32
many are offset by 2px
yeah I guess it makes some of the animations more fluid with the default oneko skin and its recolors but throws me off when trying to make a full replacement
and I also don't have good shiggies to fill in the rest of the boxes :<

also you should consider adding a snippet in the readme on how to use the skins for oneko plugin too
but that would only work for the original size and layout of the default skin unless the oneko plugin is changed
oh hey I just had a thought about the size of the images; would it maybe make sense to use percentage values for background-positions and a background-size, that way it wouldn't matter if the images are 32px or 64px or 1337px as long as they are tiled the same
i think using percentage would apply to the size of the element and not the background
not sure how that changes anything or couldn't work

but I just don't have images to fill all the boxes and @golden dawn was planning on changing the onekocord so I kinda shelved it
I don't even use oneko other than for the appicon and toolbox
