Your Discord seems to have installed in the wrong place. This could be due to a variety of issues.

discord/vencord updated and now it won't install anymore on linux, it looks like /usr/share/discord/resources/app.asar got renamed to /usr/share/discord/resources/_app.asar (same for lib64) so the vencord installer couldn't find it, I just renamed it myself but installing from vencord-installer says "successfully patched" and nothing actually happens to the client on relaunch

You can only use plugins made specifically for Vencord.

Encountering a weird issue today on Canary, the titlebar drag space covers the entire app, and nothing is interactable with the mouse except roughly this area (see screenshot).
This does not happen on Stable, it does not happen on stock Canary, and it does not happen when native titlebar is enabled. It does not happen on my W11 laptop either (same canary and vencord version).
My platform is a bit special, Windows 10 LTSC themed to look very close to Windows 7, I already tried turning off as many system mods as I easily could, no effect.
Something weird I noticed: the UI is interactable for a short period on startup.
I goofed around in devtools for a bit but didn't see anything glaringly obvious, any ideas?

but I noticed the mouse input only stops (and starts dragging the window) when this line shows in CLI logs (a few secs after startup):

Hi could somebody help me, This just started happening yesterday. When I install vencord it says its patched in the installer but when I open it discord is normal, I tried repairing the installer but nothing worked

Seems as though the script installer can't detect my installation after the latest discord update, did the install paths change? Looking it up on github, seems as though someone made an issue and was unnecessarily rude, but I didn't see a solution to it yet. I'm on bazzite-dx, running discord through distrobox.

Also to spooky, I also can't see pins.

Edit: For reference it looks like this, I also noticed unlike this pull it just shows a version number, no app-version, and /opt/discord doesn't work either.

I figured it out, the distrobox version I was using was outdated fedora 42 and I couldn't upgrade it, it was installing/sticking to 0.0.135. I ended up nuking all my distrobox instances out of frustration and just switching to native and it works now.

open the dev tools with CTRL + Shift + i (Cmd + Option + i on MacOs) and click on the "console" tab at the top. Then paste and run (with enter) the following code.

It will

• disable custom css (you can turn it back on in Vencord Settings)
• copy your current theme links to your clipboard as a backup
• remove all themes

Yes I've experienced some inconsistency with that before. Its mainly community servers I believe, if you right click the server and click show all channels I believe that fixes it.
