hey i was wondering for apple music rpc if it would be possible to make it work on windows using the method used here? PKBeam/AMWin-RP
im not too familiar with plugin development so i was hoping anyone here if theyve made a plugin for vencord/vesktop if this would be even possible with whatever access to the host system plugins have. what i can tell it uses the windows automation api to effectively scrape the new apple music windows msstore app and then just read straight off it the details. it seems in this repo it acc works pretty well. problem was that its made in c# using the flaui library to access the api. i noticed tho that there is a js library too on npm @vavanya/flaui-js but idk if it would work. i dont even know if this would be any point since its a lot and its very niche to use apple music on windows but oh well

Every time I try to click on a thread where the original message has been deleted in a forum channel discord crashes. Uninstalling vencord did fix this, so it's on you guys. Chrome extension btw. Checked #1257025907625951423 and didn't see anything similar. I then tried testing this in a private server, and it did not repeat itself. First of all, thanks for the amazing work on this client. I’m writing to suggest expanding the Nitro-like features. While I understand that server-side features (like 500MB uploads or Server Boosts) are impossible to implement, it would be cool to have a more "seamless" Nitro experience.
Specifically, I'm interested in:
Improving the FakeNitro plugin to better handle external stickers.
Adding an option to automatically resize images that exceed the free upload limit.
Full support for Nitro themes/gradients if possible via client-side CSS.

I'm having the lack of settings issue from #1257025907625951423 but it says it's been fixed 👀
I only have the issue on NixOS, on Arch it works fine.
I assume the issue is that on NixOS when I delete ~/.config/discord it downloads 0.0.130 and on Arch it downloads 0.0.134.
I tried copying over the discord config folder but it downgrades itself. I'm not familiar with how Discord does it's updates but I assume they should be the same on both? Is it NixOS fault? I updated everything and install it with the package in nixpkgs and withVencord = true.

I want stock discord with Vencord instead of Vesktop because I want NVenc/Vulkan Video support (unless it's possible to do that on Vesktop too?)

I have MessageLogger enabled but it works differently in servers than in dms for me.

for example: in servers i can see deleted messages even i go on other servers and go back to the original server with the deleted messahe i can still see or when i just opened discord and if i close discord and go back on it i'll be able to see the deleted message for sometime until its gone.

this isnt the case for dms.
i can only see deleted messages in dms if im just there meaning if someone dms me and they delete it before i open their dm its gone.

if this doesnt make sense i can explain better if someone sends a message in chat and in my dms then deletes it

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Seeing this error whenever the client tries to load and render code using ShikiCodeblocks. Switching out of the channel and back into it will make it load correctly, but the issue occurs again if you refresh the client. Happens with the Discord app and the userscript on a Chromium browser. I'm running into an issue where my Discord crashes and says "Discord isn't responding" whenever I click on the ReviewDB under my profile and other users profiles. This started happening since yesterday. I am using the web version of Discord via the Vencord browser extension. I've already tried uninstalling and installing the extension back, but it didn't fix the problem.

The DMA-BUF modifier renegotiation loops a few times before the unhandled rejection. Not sure if the EGL errors are related or noise.

Other notes:

Vesktop/Vencord settings sections are also missing from my settings sidebar, may or may not be related
Vencord.Updater.update() runs without error but doesn't change behavior
I saw the Apr 24 thread saying things should be fixed after updating, but I'm still hitting this on a fresh vesktop-git build as of today

Huh, looks like you tried to send Vencord debugging info, but it didn't quite work. Please check if you have Legacy Chat Input enabled in Settings > Accessibility. If not, it could be that your Vencord is corrupt or not installed! Please reinstall/repair using the installer.

Vencord wont let me install is, i had to remove all files because my disord wouldnt start after turning on Windows native Titelbar (Which i dissabled in the Json file) but it didnt fix it. I then removed Vecord fully from my PC by deleting all files of it and now i only get these errors when trying to repair . Any fix?

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

They stated it's due to varying plugins the application has.
