first I just updated discord to 0.0.133 then repaired vencord as usual and discord stopped working with the above error. Right now I deleted the 0.0.133/modules dir per the suggestion, repaired vencord and discord still wasn't able to fully launch

Hi, i found out about this vencord thing to my friend and i was wondering is there anything i can do to delete the vencord.exe itself because i had a change of mind that i shouldnt have installed it. And when i try deleting, it wont delete because it says the file is open from vencord installer so i was wondering how do i resolved this?

I am not certain whether this matter has already been raised, but I have identified an issue where, on macOS Tahoe, Discord will occasionally launch without Vencord being injected.

Because of this, I would like to ask whether there is a way to ensure that Vencord is always injected whenever Discord is launched on startup.

On my Windows desktop, this behavior occurs without issue, so I am unsure as to why it is not functioning the same way in this environment.

Discord would update and it would remove the patches provided by vencord, no way around this.
You can use vesktop instead, which is our own custom discord app which has vencord built-in.

The Message Logger plugin is bugged. When a message is edited, it will not remove the message before the edit if you click "remove message history" until after you swap channels.

since vencord is a client mod, it can see what ur typing, so first it checks if what youre typing is valid (step 2)
if what youre typing violates automod rules (heres my question: is this something detectable or not? can a plugin see whats automodded before sending a message with blocked content?)
if the message contains blocked content it gives a warning above the message box with the flagged word/phrase
doesnt let you send it unless you have a role that bypasses the detected automod rule
is this even possible?

I think it was changed so people can’t enable it the same way anymore. It seems more like a hidden feature now. If you hover over the boost icon on someone’s message, Wumpus appears, and clicking his leaf should activate it. So I’d say it’s no longer really a “plug,” since it’s not listed with everything else anymore. There are still some posts and links floating around explaining how to enable it, though #🏥-vencord-support-🏥 message.

Discord turns 10 this year, but I’m not sure when this plug change actually happened. I knew about Wumpus appearing, but I wasn’t sure if it enabled Party Mode.

Not sure what the plug was called, or if it’s even still active. It’s most likely gone now and probably disabled from being turned on or off, just like some other plugs.

My Issue is that i started up discord and noticed none of my vencord customisation was present.
When i went to the vencord installer and pressed reinstall i expected the discord to be updated and to get it's flair back. It did not.
Despite reinstalling several times, uninstalling and installing again with a fresh installer the vencord settings did not return in the discord settings.

I am using windows, the newest, I do not know how the issue or anything happened and i can't run any vencord commands. I also cannot see anything in the devtools that mentions vencord, only something called sentry and stores and things that are blocked, i don't understand computer speak

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

ok after some more work with vencordinstaller, i have both openasar and vencord working on discord stable

are there any downsides to using openasar? does any discord functionality break or work differently? i've never used openasar
