linux (fedora) screens at 80%, 90% and 80%. Vencord couldnt go fullscreen, offset cursor, and clicking in/out of window kept shrinking the window. Happened after screen settings got scrabled while i was away from computer. Fixed after putting all screens to 100%

i don't know if this is a vencord issue or something else, but vencord is the only one that had this happen out of all apps i used. it's fine now even if my screens are a bit annoying now, but just wanted to mention this incase someone knew what to do in the future if this happened to someone else or if there was some fix bleeehhh

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

I do use the frosted glass and rounded discord theme. But there is some "clutter" that i'd like to remove (see screenshot). I'd like to remove all those buttons, except the search bar. They're quite annoying and I barely use them.

Hi, it looks like when Vencord is installed and my status is intentionally set to Invisible, when I launch or refresh the Discord desktop client, it temporarily sets my status to Online and then reverts back to Invisible in less than a second. I'm not sure how long this has been an issue as I was only made aware of it today. I've verified this issue does not exist on the stock Discord client, and only happens with Vencord, even when no plugins are enabled. Happy to provide more info if needed.

Edit: I'm not going to linger around in the server, but feel free to reach out to me if I can help reproduce. I took a brief look into fixing it myself but wasn't really getting anywhere. I'll rejoin and edit this message again if this is eventually fixed.

heya! I wanted to ask, how often does vencord break after a discord update? I ask because I believe the auto updater of vencord is not really working properly, as I see this button on the top right, and if I either click it or ignore it and restart discrd then vencord is broken. I then repair vencord via the .exe file (freshly downloaded every time), and then soon after, within a week or two, the same thing repeats

I remember in the past seeing a "vencord was updated" in the bottom right, but that no longer appears and the breaking happens way more often since it disappeared

This is more of a question about the status of Vencord as a whole but.. there's been no commits to it for almost 3 weeks, which is a very long stretch of activity without any updates. Is there a reason things have halted?

I couldn't find any info looking through announcements or searching "update" to see anyone else who's asked about it. Haven't been able to find a clear cut reason. If it's just because nothing's broken, I guess that makes sense, but there are pull requests that have been waiting to get pushed too.
