Hello, so recently discord released the 2025 "Checkpoint", my information on it was not accurate and i have all the correct privacy settings, so I was wondering if using vencord has made it so that somehow my info was not correct due to using vencord this whole time

Hey guys, I'm just having an issue with vencord where, when I use an emoji from a server, sometimes it will either:

1. Only write the name of the emoji in blue (it's a clickable link that returns the URL of the emoji, but says "source error at the start") OR
2. It will post the emoji and still write the name of it in blue with a link, this time the link just opens the emoji in a browser window.

Is there something I can do to stop this behaviour? Thanks for your time 🙏

Yeah that's what I typically do. The hard part is that some apps (like Blender) make it difficult to properly migrate these settings. I used to reinstall all the time, but there are hyper-specific configs I have these days which are not easy to replicate on reinstall.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

as far as i've tested, normal discord never reloads, but as soon as i switch to vencord, it starts reloading again
(every few minutes/seconds it'll reload. it's pretty much random, but it happens most when im switching chanels or tabbing in/out of discord.)
