Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

installing the latest rpm on fedora 42 and running it shows a transparent window that exists as shown

no, I have a bug with because technically to clear it you just need to go "read / see" where that notification / ping / message comes from then it disappear, however in my case it doesn't disappear if for instance I have that notif from a server that's at the bottom side of the scrolling list (on the left side), when I go see that notif it clears the notif itself (on the server icon) but not the "new" at the top and I have to scroll all the way at the top to make it disappear

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

you should be able to see it in your nitro credits tab in user settings

it was a few days ago and i removed it since it makes my discord unusable. i tried removing and installing which i guess will put it in the latest version.

but i tried that a few days ago (which didn't work), and i tried it again and it works. well, i guess it's fixed with an update now. keep up the good work 👍
