Screensharing on Wayland still doesnt work.

I personally can see it, but the other individual cant.

They can hear audio too, which is weird

Screensharing works without audio on discord canary official client, but not vesktop

HOWEVER

I can get vesktop to share audio and video for a couple seconds on 1080p60 for a couple seconds before video just freezes

And doesnt come back

Hi there, the "--start-minimized" flag doesn't seem to be working for me, whether I launch it from PowerShell with the flag or create a shortcut and add the flag at the end of the path, it just launches maximized as if that flag wasn't there, I really have no idea why this could be, it was working fine before I reinstalled Windows a couple days back. I am being civil, I said what you went through is garbage because its bloated and doesn't actually address the point and contains way too many steps that are useless and overrided by the following steps.

Reinstalling not working is typically user error or messed up permissions from running the installer as admin when you are told not to do that.

While I cannot speak for exactly what you did because I was not at your computer while you did it, the solution in #1257025907625951423 is right, vencord is just a folder and an asar file and uninstalling it is as simple as just moving the old asar back and removing the folder

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

If that indeed fixes the lagging, you'll have to figure out which theme / part of your QuickCSS is causing the lag.Just slowly remove parts of it until it doesn't lag anymore.

open the dev tools with CTRL + Shift + i (Cmd + Option + i on MacOs) and click on the "console" tab at the top. Then paste and run (with enter) the following code.

It will

• disable custom css (you can turn it back on in Vencord Settings)
• copy your current theme links to your clipboard as a backup
• remove all themes

something about your gpu causing errors and the gpu process to crash which means discord will run entirely without hardware acceleration thus lag

try googling those errors

seems like you're using flatpak? try removing the wayland socket permission from the vesktop flayland to force it to run in X11
