I'm using an ordinary desktop installation and it's not working at all. Testing the regexes inside the plugin settings works beautifully, but nothing gets replaced when sending messages anymore.

How to update if you can't update via normal means

Sometimes Vencord might break or crash and make it impossible to update via normal means. Here's how to fix it!

Discord Desktop

Use the Repair button in the installer. You will not lose your Vencord or Plugin settings.

Vesktop

Right click the vesktop tray icon > Update Vencord.
If you don't have a tray, you can run the following script in devtools (ctrl + shift + i, then click on the console tab and paste):

Userscript

Remove and reinstall the Userscript. You will not lose your Vencord settings.

quick note: because the vencord cloud service authenticates with an app linked to your discord account, if you switch to a different account, it will count it as a refresh and attempt to grab the cloud data, but because it's a different app, you will receive a permission error.

Hi, someone may have already asked this question, but. Something very unusual happened. Apparently, my Discord Activity (a cringy little box that say what the user is playing or listening to) is visible to others on my mini profile (As it normally does) , but I cannot see it myself, except in Direct Messages (DMs).
I did some research, nobody has seems to encounter this problem before as far as I am aware. And I'm not sure if it's due to Discord client that causes this silly issue or I mess up something in Vencord.

the lag situation is insane, I don't have any vencord themes (I have a nitro bypass one (just checked and it's not its fault)) and vesktop's cpu usage goes up to 40% while just scrolling channels, 20% 40% when moving my mouse around (goes higher the faster you move)

Why do some video files not play? Only the audio is played but the image stays as the thumbnail image. If i download the video i can view the file fine. I can also view those files properly on my phone using aliucord. I saw that other people had this issue too, but they werent answered.
