nope, it usually happens with vencord. When discord pushed an update (maybe around today?) i noticed discord with vencord taking a lot longer to load and struggled to keep up with my clicks.

i recall there once being a time where vencord turned into crashes and we had to go into console and input a command to remove the decor plugin, i inputted that command a while ago, and im sure the problem is fixed, so how can i get decor back? yes, i've tried toggling decor on and off.

My themes broke and now I can't open settings or disable them

open the dev tools with CTRL + Shift + i (Cmd + Option + i on MacOs) and click on the "console" tab at the top. Then paste and run (with enter) the following code.

It will

  • disable custom css (you can turn it back on in Vencord Settings)
  • copy your current theme links to your clipboard as a backup
  • remove all themes

hey guys, i switched to vesktop (as it fixes screensharing on wayland and audio sharing) and its been working completely fine but the only issue i have is with right click
on some things (messages or servers for example) it works, on the message box or opened images (not just embed) it just doesnt show anything
i checked console logs and terminal logs but nothing happened at all on right click of the elements that dont open context menus
i also tried the menu key on my keyboard
i made sure it wasnt my desktop being weird and all other apps (even discord web) work
and another super weird issue is if i hold down a key, it doesnt keep typing it, i have to hit it multiple times (say a, aaaaa, or ctrl+arrow or ctrl+backspace for text manipulation)
im on arch linux (btw, obv), wayland/hyprland, vesktop (latest ver, updated literally a few mins ago)

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Not sure if I pressed something but ShowHiddenChannels plugin doesn't seem to be working on a specific server I'm in. Fine on other servers and when I switch accounts it works on the server, need some help.
