Hi y'all. First of all, I use Linux, specifically Opensuse Tumbleweed, with the Flatpak package of Vencord. My problem is that global keybinds don't seem to work, as for example if I press Pause/Break on my keyboard, which is meant to mute my microphone, nothing happens. In the keybinds tab there's also a prompt that says "Custom keybinds are not currently supported in the browser. Download the desktop application to use keybinds.". I also seemingly can't modify my keybinds

For anyone having issues here on KDE I found the fix.
It happens if you have both krohnkite tiling kwin script and the geometry change desktop effect together.
What you have to do is the next:
Place the following "plasmashell,xde-video-portal,xde-video-portal-kde" under the ignore window classes

With that you should be able to stream on vesktop using wayland without issues

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

If anyone else runs into the issue that the flatpak version of vesktop doesn't use aRPC do the following:

• instal Flatseal
• go to Vesktop in Flatseal, go to other files and add:
  xdg-run/.flatpak/dev.vencord.Vesktop:create and xdg-run/discord-ipc-*

alternatively, don't install flatseal and add --filesystem=xdg-run/.flatpak/dev.vencord.Vesktop:create and --filesystem=xdg-run/discord-ipc-* to the global Flatpak permissions
