In discord theme preview if I pick light theme and then the color scheme it will be light for all colors, in vencord only first 8 are light
Dark mode preview in discord nitro will make all of color schemes dark mode, even first 8, which will still be light mode in vencord

Its like discord have light and dark themes versions of each color scheme, and vencord on the other hand has light theme, dark theme, 8 light colored themes, and other dark colored themes

Hi, i have the problem with arRPC. When i start Vesktop it always says "Failed to connect to arRPC, is it running". My goal is to show the current game i play in my discord status.

I'm curious why I was having issues where it would turn into a slideshow after a while and my games would drop a significant amount of FPS whenever I was screencasting. I was using KDE plasma 6.1.2 and had libva-media-driver installed for VAAPI support on a 6900 XT.

Did you tried to downgrade or stop the plasma updates? When Plasma 6 was released a lot of people had issues and downgraded, me included

I tried 6 beta, 6.1, and then 6.1.2. I also experimented a bit using Gnome and the results were the same.

I was looking at the recent commits and I see that they overhauled the screencasting on Linux, but during my tests with the flatpak I would have already of had those changes.

My suspect was that hardware acceleration wasn't working and my CPU was being used instead.

My FPS in games would drop from 100+ fps down to the 40s.

Is there a plugin that makes it so I can't see people's mutual friends or mutual servers if I've deleted or blocked them? I'm not sure if this is a Vencord issue or if it's just discord and how it works now, but for some reason it won't let me cheque people's mutual friends and servers if I've deleted them or if I've blocked them in the past. It will only let me see it if I add them back as a friend/they readd me. It just won't let me check it if they've been deleted. Is this a broken plugin, or a Vencord feature or just a normal Discord feature now?

I get this message for people I've deleted or blocked. It would usually let me check mutual friends/servers on everybody but for a while I get this now.

And unblocking them doesn't make it go away, just adding them as a friend again makes it go back to normla.

Why do I get logged out after opening DevTools?

Discord tries to protect you from getting scammed by "hiding" your token when you open DevTools, which means it deletes it from storage and only keeps it in memory in order to make it harder to obtain.

If you now close discord before closing DevTools again, your token will not be saved anywhere anymore and as a consequence you will be logged out

Solution: Close DevTools before closing discord or better yet enable the NoDevtoolsWarning plugin which removes this "feature"

2. Press "take me there"

3. Make sure you are in the discord folder, if not, go there

4. ctrl+a and delete (aka, delete everything in the folder)

6. Delete the discord folder

7. Now open discord

• If it works, cool, install vencord
• If not: reinstall discord, install vencord

My friend operates on pc and i on laptop. now the thing is that she is still being able to see the deleted messages one sent hours back as soon as she turns on her pc but i am not. along with that i am not being able to see the logged messages even when my discord is kept minimised and is allowed to run in background. So why is that?

Seems like Discord is still running in the background. Make sure you close it fully. It will most likely be in your tray, but if not you can use your Task Manager to force close it. After that, you should be able to install Vencord properly.

The easiest & fastest solution to most issues is to just reinstalll / repair Vencord using the installer. Don't worry, you won't lose your settings! They'll all be there like nothing happened once you're back

The reason in this case is that I don't consider this to be a "Purely graphical glitch" and certainly not comparable to flickering or scaling issues. I am quite certain that it is not in the identified broader category of "GPU related issues" since the bug is independent of the GPU used and disabling Hardware Acceleration makes no difference.
This is a window framing or geometry issue.
I have great sympathy for developers having to deal with low quality reports. That is why my reports are written so carefully, including the careful reading of instructions (which are often no written so carefully).

Actually nvm it still seems to be present. Also occurs when I would click and view someone's bio or the little pop-out menu. I assume it could be a graphics driver problem?
