Hello, I'm trying to use WebRichPresence (arRPC) on firefox.
I followed the instructions to run arRPC and it seems to be working on the node server but I keep getting this error on the top of my screen and the rich presence is not working.

Why do I get logged out after opening DevTools?

Discord tries to protect you from getting scammed by "hiding" your token when you open DevTools, which means it deletes it from storage and only keeps it in memory in order to make it harder to obtain.

If you now close discord before closing DevTools again, your token will not be saved anywhere anymore and as a consequence you will be logged out

Solution: Close DevTools before closing discord or better yet enable the NoDevtoolsWarning plugin which removes this "feature"

The old way (the experiments) of removing the new profile redesign has been removed and there is no way (aside from the below) of getting it back to how it originally was.

Someone can technically make a css (not a plugin, it was rejected) to revert it, but;
1: it'll probably be large
2: its not really worth the effort
3: its easier to just improve on the new redesign
4: its better to just, cope with it, it would require someone to constantly update it if discord changes it

Your Discord seems to have installed in the wrong place. This could be due to a variety of issues.

To fix it, click the "Take me there!" button and follow the instructions in the dialog.

2. Press "take me there"

3. Make sure you are in the discord folder, if not, go there

4. ctrl+a and delete (aka, delete everything in the folder)

5. Go back a folder (outside of the discord folder, it'll either be ProgramData or your windows username)

6. Delete the discord folder

7. Now open discord

• If it works, cool, install vencord
• If not: reinstall discord, install vencord

Good afternoon, I entered yesterday to this server because it has caught my attention the Vencord project I like it a lot, and I wanted to ask if I can be banned for using this client modification, I understand that this question is asked every day but I would like a more or less clear answer, first of all say that I have seen a little above and there is some plugin that has caught my attention such as the FakeNitro among others, I do not intend to do weird things or install many plugins that modify many things to avoid risks.

The simplest answer is using a client modification is against TOS and is bannable but does not mean you're gonna get banned for it explicitly
If your only purpose to use is to have your client work in linux and you just don't say "i'm using client modifications !!!11!!" left and right you should be safe

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

what it seems to do instead based on your description is immediately scrobble

which is wrong in multiple ways: for one because as you notice it doesn't mark it as currently playing, but also because you're not supposed to scrobble until the user has listened to at least half of the song (or 3 minutes) to avoid scrobbling songs u quickly skip

so you should complain to qobuz.

or depending on the platform you use it on, you could use your own scrobbler. for example on android you can use Pano Scrobbler to scrobble any app
