Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

yooo guys! just having an issue at the moment when im streaming apps/screens - for some reason the preview on my client is working just fine and shows the fill window/screen, but on everyone elses side it is cropped into the top left. only workaround is to shrink the window to a smaller size (im not sure the exact dimentions right now but i'd be happy to help troubleshoot) and the full stream is shown. absolutely LOVE the mod and the nitro streaming has been a saviour but seems to have broke in the latest update, although i cant remember what last updated whether it be discord or vencord xD

Disable the plugin, unless you intend to run the arrpc backend yourself.

If you are trying to use cloud integrations in the browser (specifically Firefox), it won't work due to CSP issues as the Vencord extension cannot correctly allow access to the API. There's no fix besides using a different browser or using the desktop clients.
