My themes broke and now I can't open settings or disable them

open the dev tools with CTRL + Shift + i (Cmd + Option + i on MacOs) and click on the "console" tab at the top. Then paste and run (with enter) the following code.

It will

• disable custom css (you can turn it back on in Vencord Settings)
• copy your current theme links to your clipboard as a backup
• remove all themes

Hello, has the RelationshipNotifier plugin been broken for awhile. Recently noticed that one of the servers I was in wasn't in my folder anymore and never got notified about it. Similary a friend removed me to test it and didn't get a notification either. The most I did was remove the plugin and made sure any files in the plugin folder was removed for it and then restarted discord and re-added it but still wasn't working.

Vesktop is a portable embedding of discord with vencord pre installed, which also makes things lighter and better optimised

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Seems like Discord is still running in the background. Make sure you close it fully. It will most likely be in your tray, but if not you can use your Task Manager to force close it. After that, you should be able to install Vencord properly.

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

does anyone know if you can pass arguments to the VencordInstallerCli-Linux? I can see that the install command just runs a script that pulls it down, adds execution permissions and then runs it. Every time I update discord on my machine (discord throws a .deb my way), vencords gets a little lost and needs to either be reinstalled or repaired. I want to automate the whole process so I can essentially just run 'update-discord' on my cli and it'll update to what ever the latest version is (based on the .deb that discord made me get) and then repair vencord. So far I can get as far as update discord and run the vencord installer but it then needs manual intervention to select repair and then quit out.

EDIT: In case anyone ever needs this, run ./VencordInstallerCli-Linux -help 🤦‍♂️

My vencord disappeared this morning, and I've tried re-installing everything, deleted all the folders and shit, uninstalled & repaired from the vencord installer and it still doesn't work.
I'm using Discord desktop & OS is windows

The easiest & fastest solution to most issues is to just reinstalll / repair Vencord using the installer. Don't worry, you won't lose your settings! They'll all be there like nothing happened once you're back

i already had the flatpak version patched

If you mean can other users see your plugins in the sense of can they see your banner if you use usrbg? Yes, but only if they have the plugin
