I want a way for the VcNarrator plugin to specifically not narrate any actions I myself perform on my account.

Have had an issue about three times now where when I click update on Discord it decouples the application's audio from the channels I had selected in Windows Volume Mixer. That of course is not Vencord or Discord's problem, that's a Windows issue.

Where this feature would come in handy is that when I have a call running while I'm away from my machine and I come back and see an update, when Discord automatically reconnects me to the call I receive the most earsplittingly loud JOIN I have ever heard that plugin emit and I am scared for the integrity of my audio equipment because of it.

I use Wave Link as my mixing software so for simplicity of management I keep every other slider for volume on my PC at 100% to centralize my audio management, that's why when it decouples it's so loud.

I feel like this tweak would also be a nice personal preference option for others too, it's quite redundant to have VcNarrator narrate your own actions.

If there's anything I said here that's still confusing just let me know, I can expand on any part of it that may be unclear.

Why do I get logged out after opening DevTools?

Discord tries to protect you from getting scammed by "hiding" your token when you open DevTools, which means it deletes it from storage and only keeps it in memory in order to make it harder to obtain.

If you now close discord before closing DevTools again, your token will not be saved anywhere anymore and as a consequence you will be logged out

Solution: Close DevTools before closing discord or better yet enable the NoDevtoolsWarning plugin which removes this "feature"

I find that if you export your settings from the desktop version and import them to the userscript version, some of the CSS code works

It seems like you're trying to use the development build of Vencord without actually understanding how to use it. Please read the documentation, or better yet get the installer from https://vencord.dev/download.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it
