as much as you potentially lose the freedom you have with plugins when using vencord (such as not being able to easily drag + drop them like in BD) without using a dev build and figuring out how to clone etc,

one thing vencord tops over is the performance and safety, also their own discord client called "vesktop" that in general, as much as it's like discord web with major bugfixes, it generally performs better
(unlike the people here, barely anyone here is a top)
we're also way less chronically online than BD, you won't have someone crying at you because you pinged them in a reply, and then get timed out when you tell them to just block you

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Yup i can replicate it easily now. On first open, that first initial check of a theme being valid and working, is what flags the connection. So thats harmless. Just my AV being too strict. It even works when theres no link to a theme put in there. I just click from "Online theme" to "Local Theme" and that check it makes is flagged.

Last schizo attempt i can make is to use a different theme so remove the possibility of a theme being dangerous

Okay i did a tcp view session and it's definitely the validator in the theme section. But only for Online themes. So yes 100% false flag. Also it's quite funny because it only doesnt like the 185.199.110.153:443 IP. It doesn't flag 185.199.109.xxx or 185.199.108.xxx nor 185.199.111.xxx. I guess it doesn't like the number 10. Everytime a 110 server is ran it flags and the servers change on every open session of discord soo
