I understand if this is something on Discord's side and not Vencord, however suddenly the Avatar Decorations / Store page is just giving me a seizure 😅 When I open Discord on browser and punch in the experiments code, it functions just fine. Also, before it had a seizure, none of the decorations were animated all of a sudden. I have tried deleting my cache, completely uninstalling Vencord (and deleting the files it created), uninstalling Discord and reinstalling everything, however it still happens. Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

its not like betterdiscord where you have to find an ugly folder and put something in there

Why does my Discord always crash when opening DevTools?

Discord on Windows uses 32bit electron which has a hard memory limit of 2gb. Discord's memory management isn't great so it will already get up to like 1.5gb ram usage if you are in a lot of servers and have it open for a while

DevTools use a lot of memory so once you open them, they immediately push you over 2gb usage. Thus Discord runs out of memory and crashes

Solution: use Discord Browser / Vencord Desktop
