I think you ran the pnpm inject on an admin CMD, and then it installs the installer as an admin. Not sure tho, I switched from Windows to Linux for 4 years now. Just use the simple installer for normal use, or if you want to develop a plugin, I highly recommend setting up a Linux VM, but whatever floats your boat, just use that. If it works, it works.

I got it. Essentially I had to go back to previous versions and download their installer. That would then error saying that another process is accessing a path it needs, blah blah blah, and I just had to then click update-install, uninstall, and then install. That then worked.
The original reason the go build wouldn't work was because I was using the dev build or something. That didn't have any of the .go files. I changed to another version of the source install, and that would error with: https://gyazo.com/9564b145d7b6a23a05362a62eddd67e5
I didn't feel like installing all of that, so I skipped it and just used a previous version installer. That had errors, but worked.

the reason is that Discord uses a content security policy (browser feature) to block loading scripts from third party sites. Because the css Editor is fairly large, but also for simplicity, it's loaded from cdn on demand which is blocked by this policy. The desktop install and browser extensions intercept requests to remove the content security policy but this isn't possible from the userscript
