The UI is so much more nicer and clean. The ecosystem is amazing. The build quality of iPhones feel so much better than most Androids. iMessage. Apple Wallet. Everything is so much more smoother. Also, the emojis are wayyy better than any android ones i've seen. Dynamic Island. All my other friends use iPhones so why not. Apps are more compatible with iPhones because there isn't 50 other phones also on the OS, it's only one line up and 9/10 times have cross-compatibility. Apps most of the time favor iPhones. The developer experience on iPhone is better too. I can go on and on

Nah it's different. vscode on github is opensource but the one you download from the microsoft site isn't and has propionary stuff. vscodium is fully opensource and also uses an extension store with only opensource extensions (you can also isntall .vsix files if you need a specific closed source extension)
