Day 36 requesting a Coin toss emote (only with "The Finals" icon, not a head or tails emote)

It will be a hand emote for the left hand (As every other hand emote) which tosses a coin (With a very satisfaction sound effect, like the ULTRAKILL's one) and then grab it in the air and the emote finishes

It would be so cool since, the enemies get coined, it would be a very gentle but cool flex

Hope Embark takes note of this, we need it in the game, I would pay for it

Day 3 of asking embark to please let us use the reserve in ranked :c, it would mitigate the frustration a lot of people have with certain weapons with out the need of nerfing them, it would allow for niche and fun loadouts to be more present in ranked, for that same reason more people would be willing to try new weapons in a serious matter, for example if you've been practicing with the R357 but still feel insecure about your ability to use it effectively you could just bring it and if you don't feel you're ready then you could swap for a more familiar weapon, and I think it will improve the health of the game over all

Big wishlist:
Revert sword nerf (PLEASE give it 140 lunge damage, it needs it)
Revert dagger nerf (let it backstab turrets again, and increase the angle or make the charge faster)
Revert sledge nerf (at least the left click part), the range buff was nice but not what it needed
Also with the sledge buff, nerf winch! It’s the problem!
Give riot shield’s baton a wider hitbox, as right now it’s really janky to try and hit lights
Buff dual blades damage
Make breach drill faster and a maybe a bigger explosion
Bring back grenade grappling, and make it easier or reduce grapple cooldown
Make m11 a close range option, XP a mid range one, and ARN a longer range one. Same thing with AKM, FCAR, and famas, respectively
Spawns kinda suck right now, wiped teams spawn in front of people with the cashbox and block the cashout
Fix performance and freezing
Let us unlock the ultimate battlepass rewards as the $20 tier, and the 20 extra levels be part of the $30

For C4 why would it not detonate as early as possible if you've already pulled the trigger before it's ready? Like why encourage players to spam click instead of making it one fluid deliberate one..?

it takes literally 0 skill to use, it takes mediocre aim, and the only ability usage is looking at somebody and pressing Q then left clicking their BODY

Incentivise getting and keeping 1st place in ranked games by either giving the 1st team in each knockout round additional RS or some other bonus and increase the team wipe penatly to 30% to discourage greifing. In the latest prohubs quals 4 team format griefing was almost non existant because it was too risky and had little benefit for the team in 1st place simply because doubling the last cash would kick them out of 1st place at the end of the match, thus giving them less points at the end, increasing the wipe out penalty on the other hand would make people play considerably slower/safer unless absolutely necessary and would discourage aping / risky 3rd parties

I like the idea of the medium or light having rocket launcher capabilities. I'm going to play the devil's advocate for a moment and highly recommend auto-cannon's, you're probably rolling your eyes and thinking this guy again... but if you have any kind of capture the flag style game mode or maps, you're going to need auto-cannon's to protect the cashout room. i have a million things to complain about (like enemy teams spawning behind me in ranked 5 seconds after we spawn, and then after we get wiped we spawn at the same spawn again)

but this change to the weight of the cash box is ridiculous.

i cannot believe we are just removing the ability to throw the cash box further, only preventing the clutch clips that are one of the best parts of the game. last second insertions

are you trying to stop people from playing keep away with the cashbox? thats a grapple problem, and changing the weight of the cash box doesnt fix that.

everything feels downhill as always, from the sledge nerf that says "we want our melee players to hold one button the whole time because that sounds more fun! (i never play sledge, that buff is absurd and the "idea" behind it is completely out of touch) to the sword nerf that just completely deletes the weapon from the game because skill based gameplay isnt what embark wants

(i also don't even play sword, and ive never had an issue fighting them and i play on controller, which apparently would be worse for fighting sword players)

Pc crashing problems when trying to boot up the finals

Why does the game take so long to launch since the start of season 6 on pc? It takes 2 minutes to get past the pre launch screen with the blue squares and another minute to compile shaders. You used to be able to get to the main menu in 30 seconds but now it takes so long. My hardware hasn't changed and the game is on an nvme. Can someone take a look at this please?

I feel like their approach to QM combos is, frankly, lazy.

The problem is that they can be used instantly to end an animation. Sledge and Winch would not be an issue if you had more delay on the follow-up QM that allowed the target to react.

They should have just had a delay like you do for a regular follow-up swing, but slightly less than that. It was the instantaneous nature of it that was the problem.

It was also a lazy half measure to not let winch and QM cancel reload/SA1216 barrel rotations without also adding segmented reloads. If I finish pumping the KS-23 forward then winch/QM, I should only have to push the pump slide back, not to the whole animation again, same with if the barrel rotation is halfway through.

While I agree that it’s harder for medium and heavy to run away from a sword, if your team is so close together they get wiped by a sword in two hits, while also not being able to kill said sword with all three focusing them, that’s a skill issue. The reason I want a full revert to the nerf is that while the light matchup nerf was a major hit, the medium and heavy (especially heavy) took a hit. Killing a medium is just more annoying and really has only one method (2 lunges + qm) instead of two (2 lunges or lunge + slash + qm). Heavy is way harder to kill too, now requiring 3 lunges + qm, giving them ample time to just kill you. That’s why I think a full reversion is necessary. The only problem with old sword was phantom slashing, which is gone

most of the player I encounter have anonymous mode enabled, personally I haven't meet any streamer or name with TTV, YT or whatever, but lower level, extreme precise aiming. it's more like a face mask for aimbots now.

The recent nerf to Cloak feels overly aggressive, especially considering how limited its effectiveness already is. This marks the third time Cloak has been toned down, and while the previous adjustments were manageable, this one pushes it too far and needs to be rolled back. Even when playing as a Medium class, I can still spot cloaked players with ease they appear more like faint silhouettes than anything close to invisible. At around 20 meters, tracking a cloaked player is trivial. The ā€œhide-and-seekā€ playstyle suggested in the patch notes doesn’t translate into reality. Standing still, which is supposed to improve concealment, barely helps players remain clearly visible and easy to follow. Instead of improving stealth gameplay, this change undermines it further, leaving Cloak weaker than ever while persistent visibility issues remain untouched.

Would like to see mgl grenades explode on shields (dome and mesh), either first or second bounce, just at some point. Its quite frustrating watching them get knocked away. You can try to aim for aoe dmg on the shield but it feels unfair that mgl is the only thing that struggles to do much against shields.

Cosmetic tactical run.
There should be a setting option / buyable animation for most (or all) guns that allow a cosmetic "tactical" run (akin to the animation played in MW when you tact run) which has the gun pointed up toward the sky while running, instead of down and across the torso. It might seem completely dumb to suggest this, but for me personally, the difference in animation gives my gameplay a more "swift" feel, and makes everything feel a lot more smooth. I tend to swap between my gun and various items just out of habit, and for me, the placebo of more speed tends to help me play better, and I think it'd be a cool QOL addition to allow for that as an option.

Do you know what 'Survivorship bias' is? It’s a logical fallacy where people only focus on those who made it through a selection process while ignoring those who didn’t. When only the players who managed to adapt to using melee weapons are still using them, of course the remaining stats will look good because only the successful ones are left. Anyone who wasn’t good at using melee weapons would’ve just stopped playing them. That’s why, objectively, there have always been fewer melee users than gun users.

So making balance decisions based solely on stats without playing the weapon yourself is absurd. The fact that only a few people are using it means it’s already a weapon for experts. And if only experts remain, of course the stats will look good. And If people are asking for a nerf, it usually means they don’t even use the weapon themselves. Look at Pike. It’s one of the strongest weapons right now, but you don’t see nearly as people crying for a nerf. Why? Because the majority of this game’s players are mediums (actually embark says). And naturally, people don’t ask for nerfs on weapons they like and use themselves.

But I’m NOT saying Pike should be nerfed. What I’m saying is that the other weapons should be buffed to the same level.

Fighting against niche weapons requires a different approach than fighting against guns. But instead of adapting, a bunch of dumb players keep whining for nerfs because they can’t be bothered to change their gadgets or playstyle.

Instead of nerfing, just buff the alternatives. That way, the players who use those weapons don’t feel unfairly punished, and those using other weapons will enjoy having more competitive options. Everyone wins. So why do you only nerf? Nerfs should be handled with surgical precision, not through nonsense like slashing a weapon’s dmg by 25%.

Pls revert the nerfs to sword, dagger, and sledge. All melee weapons needed their pre-nerf stats, and that’s why they were originally set that way.

And its loud as hell so its not hard to find. Plus, depending on your settings and monitor type, its already easier to see for some than others. Plus, its not like there isnt any counter to it. Every class has some form of proximity sensor (or multiple for some classes) that they can use to spot an invis player.

Not to mention the fact that like 50% of the people in this game are using wall hacks to begin with. So any nerf of invis is basically moot.

Make it so if youre stealing a cashout and it ends it goes into "Overtime" and the match dosnt end until its either stolen or the person stealing it lets go, right now the game is over when theres 7 seconds left in the match.

I've got 2 things I wanna mention and propose:

  1. Consider adding a way to select your spawn when you are teamwiped. A simple solution would be that you can ping the cashout you want to spawn at and that works as a voting system for your team too. Too many times have we wiped on a cashout that was ours only to respawn 200m+ away from it, while it was still ours. Or respawned at a cashout that had no time remaining to do anything and the other cashout had plenty if we didn't spawn in Narnia.

  2. For Seoul specific, please add a hallway under the main path to hospital, you could even make it have a glass roof so the defenders can see people crossing, or make it bulletproof so they just get the info and the attackers have a way to push hospital without being naked and afraid in the open. Of course there are other ways to push that location, but if its properly defended its way too op imo. I was thinking a tunnel that would give attackers some in cover way to push and defenders a reason to not just sit on the roof and camp, would be a good way to address the issues with hospital. I don't think a completely hidden tunnel would be good though, since then defenders would just be surprised by a full team in their back and that'd play bad as well.

Just my opinions on 2 topics, so I hope you read it and consider it. It's def biased towards my own experiences so It's not a perfect fix. Just some things I'd like to see changed to hopefully benefit the flow and enjoyment of Seoul and also in general the respawn system. (Also.. Fix the bug where if you coin right as a teammate dies, you spawn at the other side of the map, ty)

Embark please, haven't you seen by now? There are enough people clearly pointing out that melee is just no longer viable in more competitive modes, you have ranked and wt which hardly anyone picks melee because of how unbelievably bad it has become, I main dagger, or at least I have attempted to main dagger, but the reg on top of the server issues has become a joke, it is a blessing if even one of your backstabs count, numerous times have I gotten what clearly is a backstab and just gotten no response only for the player to turn around 180 and beam with an actual ranged weapon. The charge up time is atrocious, any player with average to above average skill will beam you before you even get an 800ms charge, the slightest turn in the player model topped up with the shty servers makes you instantly somehow not hit the hitbox even though it was a clear hit. The movement penalty makes you become aim train for any one who sees you, melee lock on is just a lazy way to make the weapon to be targeting the centre of mass but that leaves little control of where the weapon actually lands, leading to sometimes even being somehow just a normal 75 damage because once again the slightest turn fks this weapon up, so what have I done. I switched from melee lock on, it helps with more fluent dash 180 backstab, but wait there's more, even that doesn't fix the weapon, any walking up behind a target and performing a backstab from simply behind regs or just decides that it is no longer part of the backstab angle because the game decided so. Please fix your servers revert any melee nerf ever done. I have never truly seen a high elo player complain about melee and its position in high elo gameplay. The moment nade launcher became unbearable there were some clear names and complaints about it even in the high elos, you hardly have nerfed it, I had one guy going 17 and 3 in WT yesterday, what kind of nerf makes the weapon the exact same as before. Stop nerfing weapons that aren't as broken.

Lovely that Finals is at the point again where i need to take a long break because cheats are taking a hard spot again...
For example EnanoGuapo#5975. Great example of a wallhack that is not being punished fast enough.
And for gods sake if you go against a cheater stop unbanning them... I have seen a lot of top 100 players in WT being banned just to be unbanned because they are asking nicely by DMing an employee. What the hell is this? If you want this game to really shine go against cheaters with a 0-tolerance policy. Otherwise this will become "Apex Legends 2".

Here is a list of weapons that need to be buffed but not make them overpowered in the next balance patch

Spear: increase the first swing damage in the combo from 65 to 70 making it 70, 80, 90 and increase the spin attack damage to 120

KS-23: increase the projectile speed to 500m/s and either give it a 1.2x headshot multiplier or decrease the fire rate to 73 RPM and increase the player damage to 120

Riot shield: increase the movement speed when blocking

R.357: increase the fire rate from 140 to 160 RPM

  • Revert the nerf of the XP54. What's the point of putting XP at 16dmg when M11 (an other SMG) do the same, faster & with more bullets ?
  • Rework Nulifier (again) : When you get it by the "Taser" your recoil is increased but you can still move as you want and you take 5 dmg/sec by the electricity during 3 sec. Can hit multiple target when you shoot.
  • You shouldn't be able to right clic sword + dash. This double dash is unfair
  • Increase the hip fire the CB01-Repeater
  • Rework Vanish Bomb. Make it start regen instant. It will increase survability for the Light & it can be use for your teammates too !
  • Reduce the radius of the reflect of the Dual Blade or let us shoot in the feet or something else to let us counter DB when you got an AR like Riot Shield.
  • Nerf the range of the KS23. You can put 100 dmg at 20m.
  • Nerf PIKE to 48 dmg instead of 50 dmg.
  • Rework defib: Reduce the cooldown reset to 5s and give 100HP instead of 50% of your HP. It will force Medium to revive safer !
  • Rework Sonar: Scan 5 times instead of 3 but if you don't move it can't scan you
  • Winch & lockbolt shouldn't do damage. It's already strong enough
  • Rework the ARN into a real AR ? Slower RPM but much more DMG. Something like the FCAR for example.

The dagger,sword,sledgehammer nerf... I’m honestly losing all interest in the game because of these changes. I can use pretty much every weapon and every class, so I thought I wouldn’t care what got nerfed, as long as it was reasonable. But when weapons I used to enjoy are now so weak they’re practically unplayable, the game just becomes less and less fun. It feels like Embark just said, ā€œToo much hassle to balance. Just delete it.ā€

There were players who only used melees. How are they supposed to take a patch that basically removes those weapons from the game?
Do you just want to make this into a game where only ARs and DMRs are viable?Then, what’s the point of playing this game?

Don’t just say it. You need to actually revert the melee nerfs.
As the patch notes said, melee sweeps and melee quality-of-life should be handled separately. Right now, melee is practically unusable in WT and ranked.
Please, actually play the game before making balance changes.
Even just a little each day, so you can feel the actual balance for yourselves instead of just listening to the whining of whiners.

Melee has to hit a certain dmg threshold to even be viable. Since melee must has to get up close to the enemy, offense is always the best defense. The only way to improve the survivability and viability of melees is to give them enough dmg.

I don't want to give such harsh feedback.But I do it because I love this game. I can’t just sit back and watch you ruin it.

Sword needs a 140 dmg lunge. All melee weapons needed their pre-nerf stats, which is why it was done.

I am in asia server and i always get high ping. At least add a ping display so that we can know that there is no use of playing this match when ping is above 100. Constant high ping, loosing matches due to this.

is getting a better server for asia a too big of a task. Its not just one game but each game i mostly get a yellow or orange indicator on right side of the screen. Spending money on game skins but its no use since i am not able to play the game.

Leaving the game for now. Will be back when any of my friend says that the ping issue is fixed..

A lot of light weapons are severely overtuned. It makes playing against them both overly oppressive and irritating. Throwing knives are too strong. With any kind of delay on the defender's end, it results in an instant loss with any class. The throwing knives deal too much damage and give too much reward for a weapon so consistent. The SR-84 should not combine with a melee to one-tap a light at close range. If you want to keep the reward for accuracy at longer ranges, the headshot multiplier already does that. There is no reason for a light to be punished because they closed the distance on the strongest long-range weapon in the game. The SH-1900 is too forgiving in its range. It should not be able to still retain its effectiveness over mid-range. The weapon is too rewarding for too little work. I believe that the ability to one-tap lights point-blank is fine, same with two-tapping mediums and dealing with heavies quickly, but the weapon is too effective over too long a range. In addition, there is no real reason to use matter over the SH-1900 in this meta, since the ability to just reload the shotgun while dashing and to one-tap a light that saw you kill their teammate is too fast and needs to be slower if damage is not reduced. Overall, I feel that most of light's weapons are either in a good spot and can be good in the hands of the right player, but that they are all overshadowed by these weapons. I think weapons like the M26 matter, LH1, XP-54, ARN-220, and the majority of light's weapons are correctly balanced for light's abilities. I think certain weapons benefit more from certain playstyles, like dagger and evasive dash or the M11 with cloaking device, and I see nothing wrong with this. However, the overtuned weapons benefit too greatly from how fast a light can get in and out of fights, and without the CL40 to address these weapons running rampant easily, action should be taken.

One thing me and I think plenty of people wish to be added is separate sensetivity settings for weapons/scope magnifications. Playing sniper feals really good but with focal sens it doesnt feel good between hip and scope modes, as there is to big of a difference in sens, this also leads to inability to play sniper and then switch back to any x0-x3 scope, as there is no possibility to make hi and scope sensitivity 1:1 on all of the scopes, if you make sniper 1:1 it will screw up closer range scopes and same in opposit way.. Its a shame that this was not added in such a great shooter in the first place. Would be great to see it soon, as customizing sens for me was a nigtmare from the very beginning.

Because tell me why I am being punished by sitting in a match where my team quite literally is inept and I HAVE to sit and play because otherwise if I try to leave I get punished. the ads sens multiplier and the scoped ads sens multiplier are already separate values in both controller and mnk settings. the former affects all iron and reflex sights (which means nearly every sight in the game), and the latter only affects the sniper and the thermal bore

if you dislike focal length sens scaling for scoped weapons but like it for others, you can keep it on and turn your scoped zoom sens above 100% to counteract the focal scaling which slows it down. I keep mine at 150%, which keeps it slightly slower than my base sensitivity, but still fast enough to flick.

and if you like the slower sensetivity for scoped weapons but dislike it for regular ones, you can turn the focal multiplier off and turn your scoped sens multiplier down. I find 30% without focal scaling is roughly similar as 150% with focal scaling

the settings we already have are proficient, you just need to play with them a bit in order to get them to feel right.

Do you know what 'Survivorship bias' is? It’s a logical fallacy where people only focus on those who made it through a selection process while ignoring those who didn’t. When only the players who managed to adapt to using melee weapons are still using them, of course the remaining stats will look good because only the successful ones are left. Anyone who wasn’t good at using melee weapons would’ve just stopped playing them. That’s why, objectively, there have always been fewer melee users than gun users.

So making balance decisions based solely on stats without playing the weapon yourself is absurd. The fact that only a few people are using it means it’s already a weapon for experts. And if only experts remain, of course the stats will look good. And If people are asking for a nerf, it usually means they don’t even use the weapon themselves. Look at Pike. It’s one of the strongest weapons right now, but you don’t see nearly as people crying for a nerf. Why? Because the majority of this game’s players are mediums (actually embark says). And naturally, people don’t ask for nerfs on weapons they like and use themselves.

But I’m NOT saying Pike should be nerfed. What I’m saying is that the other weapons should be buffed to the same level.

Fighting against niche weapons requires a different approach than fighting against guns. But instead of adapting, a bunch of dumb players keep whining for nerfs because they can’t be bothered to change their gadgets or playstyle.

Instead of nerfing, just buff the alternatives. That way, the players who use those weapons don’t feel unfairly punished, and those using other weapons will enjoy having more competitive options. Everyone wins. So why do you only nerf? Nerfs should be handled with surgical precision, not through nonsense like slashing a weapon’s dmg by 25%.

Pls revert the nerfs to sword, dagger, and sledge. All melee weapons needed their pre-nerf stats, and that’s why they were originally set that way.

please let us switch scopes within the practice arena and test them all out. I cant imagine what reason there'd possibly be for not allowing that, as its a main reason for a lot of people like myself to use the practice arena in the first place. To jump into a game having not tried a new scope is awkward and having to put on different scopes to enter the practice arena and leave and repeat is very tedious. I just don't understand why that hasn't already been incorporated at this point...

The Light class Cloak ability has now been nerfed three times, but this latest change feels like a step too far. While earlier adjustments were somewhat tolerable, this one strips the ability of nearly all its usefulness. The sledge was nerfed because of the winch claw, almost all of the "pro" players were using winch claw.
Ive been a goo sledge since season 1 and never once even considered running winch. And now getting nerfed like this is painful cause I swear with all my might, winch being nerfed would of also made the sledge win rate go WAY down.
The winch claw is often frustrating to fight, it goes through shields, when its fired, it floats in the spot for a second, and walking into that gets you winched, it cancels melee attacks (which can be argued for, however I want the way it works to be slightly changed), and the stun effect usually lasts longer then the actual winch which is the main issue.
What I want changed, is for the winch to just outright miss if they dont hit it, dont leave it floating there.
And also make it so that the winched player gains back control a second earlier, so they can dash, or jump pad, or demat or whatever else. This is the main reason the lower ttk was frustrating, because the winch didnt let them combat it.
And for the winch cancelling melee attacks, I can see the arguments for it "parrying", however, when my character has an animation of him putting ALL of his might, years of training and hard work into putting out the most devestating attack, when that animation is a frame from dealing damage, and an enemy winches and the EXACT moment that winch connects, I get stunned and then can't attack again for a century after the winch ends, thats super frustrating.
I say a winch should only cancel upon pulling in a certain distance, so if I get winched whilst next to them, no animation cancel, but if I get winched from 3 meteres or more, then I get stunned.
And the sledge combos should be a thing again, it just raised the skill ceiling, it wasnt busted but it made the weapons better, and most importantly, it actually made it possible to win against a dash light.
FIX GOO SLEDGE, let melee hit through goo

embark please create a private feedback group of players from each level like other games do (if you dont do that already) so we can get to the root of problems. yeah people will never all agree on a change, but i think there are a lot of scenarios where certain things cause metas (ie cerb was op because healing was trash, now healing is extra prevalent and cerb is falling off a little) yet we focused on the gun itself. we need to look more at things that happen universally across all skill levels then making changes based on a skill levels input. i wish the game could be balanced for high elo but thats not realistic, for example nerfing sledge. high elo complained that it was too easy to get value out of and now its useless in low elo.

The dagger,sword,sledgehammer nerf... I’m honestly losing all interest in the game because of these changes. I can use pretty much every weapon and every class, so I thought I wouldn’t care what got nerfed, as long as it was reasonable. But when weapons I used to enjoy are now so weak they’re practically unplayable, the game just becomes less and less fun. It feels like Embark just said, ā€œToo much hassle to balance. Just delete it.ā€

There were players who only used melees. How are they supposed to take a patch that basically removes those weapons from the game?
Do you just want to make this into a game where only ARs and DMRs are viable?Then, what’s the point of playing this game?

As the patch notes said, melee sweeps and melee quality-of-life should be handled separately. Right now, melee is practically unusable in WT and ranked.
Please, actually play the game before making balance changes.
Even just a little each day, so you can feel the actual balance for yourselves instead of just listening to the whining of whiners.

Melee has to hit a certain dmg threshold to even be viable. Since melee must has to get up close to the enemy, offense is always the best defense. The only way to improve the survivability and viability of melees is to give them enough dmg.

I don't want to give such harsh feedback.But I do it because I love this game. I can’t just sit back and watch you ruin it.

Sword needs a 140 dmg lunge. All melee weapons needed their pre-nerf stats, which is why it was done.

I think every now and then you should run a game mode with experimental balancing for changes that might not just be numbers based. Like changing how gadgets, abilities etc function/interact. I see a lot of suggestions for changes in abilities that COULD work but I think would need mass testing to actually get an idea about.

It will be a hand emote for the left hand (As every other hand emote) which tosses a coin (With a very satisfaction sound effect, like the ULTRAKILL's one) and then grab it in the air and the emote finishes

It would be so cool since, the enemies get coined, it would be a very gentle but cool flex

Hope Embark takes note of this, we need it in the game, I would pay for it

Blast Off is easily the worst thing I've ever played in THE FINALS and I hate how a daily quest has been replaced with a mandatory Blast Off, essentially forcing me to play this garbage mode I hate or slowing down battle pass progress. Stop adding event quests to daily quests and limit them to their own event tab. This also goes for the Wheel of Fortunte and its clones, which should never come back period.

Need to nerf the longevity of invisibility. A player can literally just hit and disappear over and over again, potentially forever. This is incredibly frustrating, especially for long range enemies.

Bro, Battlefield Hardline Bank Heist game mode would be sick as hell for the finals. The extraction of the money and having to bring it to locations. I was kind of thinking on the lines of like the Team Fortress 2 of having two sided flipped maps and you have to extract from the other teams base or area and bring it back to your own base or area while dealing with digital debauchery. Being able to steal dropped coins or vault from dead players and get it back to your own extraction area. Each base has like 3 cash vaults or something you have to bust in and grab and go...

I have compiled some data to better elaborate my point. So I am playing 45 sens, 100% zoom sens and 80% scoped and no focal sens. On 1200 dpi which gives me 2.5 turns on hip and on all of the scope types but on sniper it’s 1.5 turns(let’s keep this simple measurement) on 50cm wide mousepad. This result is not bad, and I feel almost comfortable but I can’t get to desired 1 turn without losing what I am used to on all other scopes. When I do what you have suggested(which I have tried exactly before and made recheck today) 150% scoped and addition of focal on -> I get ~1 turn on sniper, perfect right?wrong!, it’s universal now to every weapon, all the ads weapons align to 1 turn, don’t tell me you could track people flying around effectively with such sense. TLDR this option should exist as simple scope multiplier, with possibility to lower or increase multiplier for x1-x8 scopes like it exists in other shooters. Otherwise, if you want to have all the weapons 1:1 to hip fire but tweak sniper sens to 2:1 it’s impossible. Also 95% of players would not do what me or you have done and waste hours to figure out correct sens, they would try sniper-> see that it feels weird -> forget about weapons existance. P.S. mb on high sense it’s better, but I feel like lower you base hip fire sense is, worse the difference. @zinc pier

The angle makes it so unbelievably inconsistent with the current netcode and the charge time is literally slower than the ttk of every gun, and you are slower than a heavy the entire duration of the charge. Beside all the nerfs done to it the damage is abysmal, like why does throwing knives do 60 dmg per (the same as dagger primary) and throws 2 and can 1 shot lights to the head from range but current dagger can't even heavy stab qm combo a light which is almost impossible to land a backstab on if they are using dash.

EMBARK PLEASE, revert the ling system sensitivity. It was good before but now i cant ping exactly where i want, it always aim assist to objectives instead of the exact place im trynna ping.
As a SoloQ i feel this change affects my gameplay alot since i comunicate alot via Ping System. Right now i cant be precise with the Pings caus it always assists me to an objective. Too sensitive

all the ltm needs is the turret buffed (for the mode) and to fix the pad not instantly bouncing you if you spawn it in yourself which makes it very useless if you need to just bounce yourself up to dodge something, but also would be good for main game stuff aswell. pls fix those, they're kinda making the ltm not as fun since they kinda suck without changes. other than that (and even then) its super fun and anyone complaining makes no sense. Now that we have the Training Dojo with smarter AI dummies and whatnot, I'd be interested in seeing a new LTM where it's like, 3 players fending off against harder and harder waves of training dummies. A survival mode, basically.

Could have dummy Lights, Mediums, and Heavies primarily using melee weapons just running at you, maybe the occasional one with an actual gun.

Some of them could be able to use abilities too, like if there's a Dummy Light it might have Evasive Dash, or a Dummy Heavy with sledge that will throw a Dome Shield towards you so it can move up unharmed

Revert sword nerf (PLEASE give it 140 lunge damage, it needs it)
Buff dagger (so much you could do. I think you must: let it backstab turrets and fix hit-reg, then you should do one or more of: reduce charge time, increase backstab angle, slowdown only when fully charged)
Revert sledge nerf (at least the left click part), the range buff was nice but not what it needed
Also with the sledge buff, nerf winch! It’s the problem!
Give riot shield’s baton a wider hitbox, as right now it’s really janky to try and hit lights
Buff dual blades dps
Make breach drill faster and a maybe a bigger explosion
Bring back grenade grappling, and make it easier or reduce grapple cooldown
Make m11 a close range option, XP a mid range one, and ARN a longer range one. Same thing with AKM, FCAR, and famas, respectively
Spawns kinda suck right now, wiped teams spawn in front of people with the cashbox and block the cashout
Fix performance and freezing
Let us unlock the ultimate battlepass rewards as the $20 tier, and the 20 extra levels be part of the $30

I think to many people complain and want nerfs on weapons because of the 1v1 capabilities it has. and that's unfair to the gun as sure it could be very strong in 1v1 but this a team game. double barrel isn't worth much if you get in there. get a kill but if they working as a team in the team game you deff going down. we need to change focus on how it effects team play and team work. cause this isnt cod and 1v1 fights dont make you reach the finals. struggling with lights. certain guns or play styles? stop fighting them solo and instead work with the team. youd be surprised how much of these " OP guns " dont seem op when faced agaisnt people working and fighting together.

In 4.6.0 patch, at sword,
Decreased the length of the secondary attack’s hit sweep by 55cm.

The nerf was too harsh, so in 5.8.0 they reverted it:
Increased the length of the Sword’s secondary attack hit sweep by 55cm.

Back to where it was.

Common sense tells us that just nerfing the hit sweep made the sword a very weak weapon, and you recognized this and reverted it. How does it make sense to apply a nerf that is even more deadly than that? As everyone knows, dmg nerf is a more serious nerf than a hit sweep nerf.
And from 140 to 105? That’s a whopping 35 dmg, 25% of its dmg. Nerfs should be handled with surgical precision, not through nonsense like slashing a weapon’s dmg by 25%.
After that, the hammer went through the same thing. It doesn’t make sense logically, but it happened. It seems like no one on the balance patch team has played melee in WT and Ranked. If they had, they would know how hard it is to respond against shooting from high ground with melees.

Melee has to hit a certain dmg threshold to even be viable. Since melee must get up close to the enemy, offense is always the best defense. The only way to improve the survivability and viability of melees is to give them enough dmg.

Start keeping your promises. Honestly, I really doubt whether melee needed a nerf at all.
But if I were to make one suggestion for the sword (even though I see no reason it needs a nerf),
At 140 dmg, make it so that when the sword multi-hits, first targets take 140 dmg, and non-primary targets take slightly less dmg. The current 25% dmg reduction is trash, so even non-primary targets should take more dmg than that.

Revert melees. All melee weapons needed their pre-nerf stats, and that’s why they were originally set that way.

Please fix the thermal vision bug where people that are using invisibility become invisible when standing Infront of the sky box. It's whole point was to be a hard counter for invisibility and this has been a problem since S2.
Please nerf the high damage weapons. In competitive right now the only weapons you will see a group of high ranks carrying rn are the high damage per shot weapons like the pike, revo, repeater sure the meta is more varied than it was in S2 don't get me wrong but it just ends up being more toxic when you get targeted by a whole team and have your health bar taken away in 2 shots from all 3 playeres.
Please fix the match making system in casual play. The fact that the MM system prioritises unfavourable match ups for better players has turned so many of the people I try to get into the game away from it because matching against a full 5 man of people that only play power shift is fucking awful when they've all got revo, repeater, pike, Sh1900.

I can kind of understand the sledge nerf, but dagger did not need to lose backstabs on objects, especially with how, when charged, the dagger player moves slower than a heavy. I have a little bit of feedback on heavy weapons. First of all, me love SA1216. Funny auto shotgun go brrrr. Second, I would like a range buff to spear. It really does not feel good to have your hits miss and to get sniper headshot because your weapon just didn't do enough damage. Especially with how little damage the spear does in most situations and in comparison to other melee weapons, particularly sledge, I think a range buff would get its player count up. The MGL-32 isn't seeing a lot of play to my knowledge, and maybe that's for the best, but I've only seen it used once in the entirety of season 7 on one heavy in TDM. I have an idea to improve goo gun, where a secondary fire would exhaust all ammunition but instantly construct a 3-goo tall 7-wide wall, like an improved goo grenade. I think this would both put goo gun into the meta while being relatively balanced with the recent changes to goo while also allowing the heavy to use other gadgets in the place of what would normally be a shield or a barricade, since they would have this new feature. It would also make fortifications with the goo gun take less time and allow for further fortifications. In general, I really love how the heavy weapons feel. They all feel powerful, hefty, and ready to do some major damage. Great work with that, the game just feels great playing as a heavy.

I reached ruby, got 1.2k h in this game and play since OB1. Imo the balancing over all is rly rly good right now, ecxept Cl40 which is rly frustrating for casual players as well as all the melee weapons. I think its not possible to get these kind of weapons into a "balanced" spot, cuz of the core how these weapons work. Melees and cl40 will allways be rly strong and super frustrating against casuals cuz of the lack of aim and general position knowledge, as well as the overall forgivness of the CL itself. Cl40 as a gadget, which just causes destruction(idk like 2 hits for a wall) but not much player dmg might be an idea. Hammer as well, like in R6. Increase the destruction, but dont consider it as a weapon. There is a niche playerbase that main these weapons tho, but the majority hates it, so there has to be a compromise in the future to makes things viable but "fun" to play against. I personally dont have a problem with those weapons but think they decrease the overall game quality cuz of random mass destruction, and they r ofc op against casuals if they r in a "balanced" spot comp wise. A guy, who plays maybe 1h after work or barely 5h wont stand a chance against a barely decent sword, hammer, CL and will just be annoyed which is like at least 80% of the playerbase i would guess. Other topic: Idk how ppl can yap that much about cheaters and matchmaking. I allways SoloQ, ive never seen a single cheater even in high elo lobbys. I allways get decent mates, not the best, not the worst. We r not talking about cod, a game with millions of players. I dont want 10min Q, just for slightly better mates and enemies. Overall im super happy with the state of the game right now, all additions r fun, awesome, just perfect, especially the new map, Healing Gun and BP. The only thing im missing right now is some more veriety in auto weapons, like gimme a vector, ump or AEK.

MGL32 needs:

  • Slightly faster projectile speed.

  • Less bounce when used from height and when fired close to the user's feet.

  • Nades should break and pass through objects like balloons, wooden shutters/the windows on Kyoto, and props like chairs and pots (same with KS-23 slugs) without stopping/blowing up. They should pass through as if they are not there.

  • "Aiming" should show the initial arc of the shot like nades do.

  • 5-10 damage from the nade hitting an enemy directly.

  • If they insist on having linear explosion scaling, then there should be a minimal damage. Meaning that instead of dropping all the way to 1 damage at the outermost edge, it should only get as low as ~35 damage.

Can we please get custom servers? I've realized after 700 hours why I can't stand playing this game anymore and it's the class system. There's far too many cheesy loadouts that result in unwinnable 1v1s. Solo queue players don't get the luxury of coordinated teammates so relying on team play to balance against abilities/broken weapons is kind of a fallacy. Losing a 1v1 because I made the mistake of existing near a light player or because I'm fighting the incredible hulk isn't fun. Being able to customize the game to fit what a player wants could really attract more players. I keep coming back to the game because the core gunplay and movement mechanics are great (this is the only game that comes close to scratching the COD itch) but get immediately reminded how miserable it is to play because of the class system.

That thing is soooo slow and chokes when you try to heal a heavy teammate.

If medium is supposed to be the support class with a specialisation for healing, it probably should be more effective than the gadgets of other 2 classes.

If healbeam would heal faster a bit and either had way more capacity or straight up infinite capacity, it would be strong. Finally something to consider over demat.

Right now light has more heal potential and can heal a heavy in split of a second with a gadget.
Heavy can place a healball that heals everyone in the team around it and does not prevent the heavy from shooting. It also works even if heavy died.
The class that "specialises" in healing is arguably the worst at it.

So a few things could go a long way here.

  1. Decrease the amount of time a light build can cloak. They can turn it off and on almost endlessly as it stands right now.
  2. Buff damage on the longer range weapons. If you get a headshot with a sniper rifle, it should be an instand death on medium and below. Same for the bow, full draw headshot, instant death.
  3. I admit, there needs to be a damage reduction on the grenade launchers. They blow when you're playing against them. Either damage nerf or reduce magazine sizes.
  4. Need to do something about melee.My biggest complaint is not being able to outrun a melee as a heavy ands the two hit kill is ridiculous. I'm not saying nerf them but adding "knockback" to heavy melee would be a big help. By knockback I mean like 6-10 ft.

The stutter engine is known to stutter call them surprised? why did they upgrade to UE5 if UE4 was perfectly ok. It's embarks fault what engine they pick, and it's on embark if their choice was a bad one. The Double Barrel is the least fun weapon in the game to fight. The time to kill is nearly unbeatable as a heavy, and light movement is so fast (and easy) that you will barely get a hit in on them before they kill you. The sledge nerf made it nearly impossible to counter them and the spear is just a generally useless weapon, especially against something that moves fast and can 2 tap you.

Embark ive played your game every season and this one has the worst balance yet. Please stop pandering to new players and let Gustav or some single human re-balance the whole sandbox to be more fun. I regularly play light and honestly the class is too OP right now and has been for a while. There are also too many gadgets for defending cashouts(really too many gadgets in general) and there should be more for stealing money I.E. a passive money siphon you can place on enemy cashouts. Dematerializer has been way too powerful for like 5 seasons.

Everyone is literally using 3-4 guns right now and its a shame to see. I love this game and hope for the best next season, cause this is objectively the worst season yet

The Cloak ability for the Light class has been chipped away by multiple nerfs, and this latest one pushes it past the point of viability. At distances of 20 meters and beyond, cloaked players are still clearly visible even to other Light class users. With a sniper rifle, spotting a cloaked target feels effortless, as if they weren’t cloaked at all. Rather than providing true invisibility, the ability now resembles a weak visual filter that barely conceals the player. The ā€œhide-and-seekā€ playstyle suggested in the patch notes may sound tactical on paper, but it simply doesn’t work in real matches. Do you know what 'Survivorship bias' is? It’s a logical fallacy where people only focus on those who made it through a selection process while ignoring those who didn’t. When only the players who managed to adapt to using melee weapons are still using them, of course the remaining stats will look good because only the successful ones are left. Anyone who wasn’t good at using melee weapons would’ve just stopped playing them. That’s why, objectively, there have always been fewer melee users than gun users.

So making balance decisions based solely on stats without playing the weapon yourself is absurd. The fact that only a few people are using it means it’s already a weapon for experts. And if only experts remain, of course the stats will look good. And If people are asking for a nerf, it usually means they don’t even use the weapon themselves. Look at Pike. It’s one of the strongest weapons right now, but you don’t see nearly as people crying for a nerf. Why? Because the majority of this game’s players are mediums (actually embark says). And naturally, people don’t ask for nerfs on weapons they like and use themselves.

But I’m NOT saying Pike should be nerfed. What I’m saying is that the other weapons should be buffed to the same level.

Fighting against niche weapons requires a different approach than fighting against guns. But instead of adapting, a bunch of dumb players keep whining for nerfs because they can’t be bothered to change their gadgets or playstyle.

Instead of nerfing, just buff the alternatives. That way, the players who use those weapons don’t feel unfairly punished, and those using other weapons will enjoy having more competitive options. Everyone wins. So why do you only nerf? Nerfs should be handled with surgical precision, not through nonsense like slashing a weapon’s dmg by 25%.

The point of invisibility isn't to able to hide completely at closer ranges. Even if they can still see you, it still requires more effort and time for them to recognize you are an enemy, flick, and fire. That extra time it takes for them to process you can tip a fight in your favor. Also all my teammates are blind and deaf. Cloak is pretty hard to balance, but I believe it's in an okay spot right now.

ok thern explain to me what happenes when you go into this "layered walls" room? they have 3 charges of demat. the audio que for this ability is one of the quietest btw. please explain to me what you do. i main heavy and as soon as a wall is demated i baricade, but oh no they have 3 charges. not to mention they recharge decently fast. thye difference is the fact that you can CLOSE the wall you open with 0 punishment. opening a wall is a comitment in a fight becasue it alowes you AND the enemy angles. if someone de mats the wall, pot shots you and closzes the wall before you can physically do anything, then how is this fair? compare this to heal beam and turret. its the obvious meta pick and its annoying when 1 medium has it. stack this ability for 9 CHARGES. i swear everyone has a 1 sided perspective of this game and its so funny. please go fight demat players that are ruby rank and go see what happens.

The punishment is a short time delay and a used charge, and you can very much physically do something; it takes time for them to switch to their weapon, fire and then rematerialise; if they had good reflexes or were not taken by then in a raw damage fight that method would be actively good for the victim’s odds - of course in reality there is more utility than this.

The dagger,sword,sledgehammer nerf... I’m honestly losing all interest in the game because of these changes. I can use pretty much every weapon and every class, so I thought I wouldn’t care what got nerfed, as long as it was reasonable. But when weapons I used to enjoy are now so weak they’re practically unplayable, the game just becomes less and less fun. It feels like Embark just said, ā€œToo much hassle to balance. Just delete it.ā€

There were players who only used melees. How are they supposed to take a patch that basically removes those weapons from the game?
Do you just want to make this into a game where only ARs and DMRs are viable?Then, what’s the point of playing this game?

As the patch notes said, melee sweeps and melee quality-of-life should be handled separately. Right now, melee is practically unusable in WT and ranked.

Even just a little each day, so you can feel the actual balance for yourselves instead of just listening to the whining of whiners.

Melee has to hit a certain dmg threshold to even be viable. Since melee must has to get up close to the enemy, offense is always the best defense. The only way to improve the survivability and viability of melees is to give them enough dmg.

I don't want to give such harsh feedback.But I do it because I love this game. I can’t just sit back and watch you ruin it.

Sword needs a 140 dmg lunge. All melee weapons needed their pre-nerf stats, which is why it was done.

world tour servers seem to play better and register shots and give proper damage than quick time and it has less players than WT. it makes no sense.

100% agree. I play 3-4 quickplay games per day and rely on daily contracts for progress. Now I'm expected to play 2 of those games in a mode I don't even like or enjoy the slightest.

This is sth that can make players who are on the fence finally quit the game. Players who stuck around to do their daily contracts, which is common and a big reason daily contracts exist. Since it keeps players feel there's a reason to log in and play the game every/most days.

Revert sword nerf (PLEASE give it 140 lunge damage, it needs it)
Buff dagger (so much you could do. I think you must: let it backstab turrets and fix hit-reg, then you should do one or more of: reduce charge time, increase backstab angle, slowdown only when fully charged)
Revert sledge nerf (at least the left click part), the range buff was nice but not what it needed
Also with the sledge buff, nerf winch! It’s the problem!
Give riot shield’s baton a wider hitbox, as right now it’s really janky to try and hit lights

Make breach drill faster and a maybe a bigger explosion
Bring back grenade grappling, and make it easier or reduce grapple cooldown

Do you know what 'Survivorship bias' is? It’s a logical fallacy where people only focus on those who made it through a selection process while ignoring those who didn’t. When only the players who managed to adapt to using melee weapons are still using them, of course the remaining stats will look good because only the successful ones are left. Anyone who wasn’t good at using melee weapons would’ve just stopped playing them. That’s why, objectively, there have always been fewer melee users than gun users.

So making balance decisions based solely on stats without playing the weapon yourself is absurd. The fact that only a few people are using it means it’s already a weapon for experts. And if only experts remain, of course the stats will look good. And If people are asking for a nerf, it usually means they don’t even use the weapon themselves. Look at Pike. It’s one of the strongest weapons right now, but you don’t see nearly as people crying for a nerf. Why? Because the majority of this game’s players are mediums (actually embark says). And naturally, people don’t ask for nerfs on weapons they like and use themselves.

But I’m NOT saying Pike should be nerfed. What I’m saying is that the other weapons should be buffed to the same level.

Instead of nerfing, just buff the alternatives. That way, the players who use those weapons don’t feel unfairly punished, and those using other weapons will enjoy having more competitive options. Everyone wins. So why do you only nerf? Nerfs should be handled with surgical precision, not through nonsense like slashing a weapon’s dmg by 25%.

Fighting against niche weapons requires a different approach than fighting against guns. But instead of adapting, a bunch of dumb players keep whining for nerfs because they can’t be bothered to change their gadgets or playstyle. You must stop listening to nerf whiners.

Sword needs a 140 dmg lunge. Those original stats existed for a reason: melee weapons needed them to function properly.

When will Embark fix ranked……. Its so bad that even the top people barely play it and just go into WT and sweat. Lost about 8 players this season because of ranked state. ZERO reason ever to go jnto second round after a sweaty first round and still possibly lose 300-600 RS. Thats insane and even more ridiculous seeing the small player poop currently in ranked. Make the system fair and reasonable so more people will grind it out. I refuse to spend hours into ranked to have one or two bad first rounds then lose 1,5 to 2k RS. If ranked player pool was healthy then sure, but reach plat and you will just go against ruby 3 stack lobbies on repeat because there are no filler players to match equally. Down to just me and one other person of our crew still playing and probably why we will quit the game

Please fix your matchmaking I’m tired of trying to play casual matches of quick cash while having bad teammates and then going up against diamonds and emeralds. This is extremely not fun and you’re going to lose players with this kind of matchmaking. There needs to be ground rules for a game where you need matchmaking to find other people to play with you can’t just not have anything cause new players are gonna hate playing this game. If you won’t fix the matchmaking then add an option of playing against bots instead cause this is getting annoying trying to enjoy the game causally when I’m getting stomped by a full diamond team because your matchmaking allowed them in my lobbies. I’m decent at the game but by no reason should I get diamonds cause I don’t play any ranked mode yet I go up against players way above my skill level. The Finals – Matchmaking Needs Serious Fixes

The game is really fun in terms of gameplay and unique ideas, but the matchmaking system has a major flaw.

I often get placed with very weak teammates, while the enemy team is clearly coordinated and much stronger — usually full squads.

I'm currently Gold rank in World Tour, but I’ve barely been playing it lately because of this issue. My progress has slowed down significantly, since winning depends more on luck with random teammates than on actual skill.

Unfortunately, the experience has become very frustrating as a solo player. I really hope the developers improve the matchmaking to take skill and rank into account, or at least separate full squads from solo players in competitive modes.

things feel.... off? somehow? shooting feels weird, melee will just miss 20% of the time even with a direct hit..... the sheer amount of healing and turtling is moving the game into a less bombastic over the top game, and more just, slow and sluggish.

You see it time and time again: a team starts losing, and what’s the move? They switch to CL40. That alone should be enough to raise a red flag. When a weapon becomes the default plan B, it’s not balance... it’s broken.

How much more proof do you need?
Players are dropping from Scar-L to CL40 mid-match and suddenly dominating. That doesn’t ring any alarm bells?

And let’s not pretend the last patch fixed anything. Dropping the radius from 60 to 50cm? That’s cosmetic. The problem isn’t numbers, it’s design.

Either nerf SH1900, or buff back the 1887, Sledgehammer and Sword to their previous damage levels.

You guys nerfed sledgehammer because it was too popular and killing enemies too quickly. Well, now it's ttk is so bad against heavies that 90% of their weapons will finish off a heavy before their combo is over.

You guys nerfed 1887 too, because it was killing off other mediums and heavies too easily. Well now it's been relegated to a "support weapon" as in you will not be winning duels against other guns, you will need your teammates to finish your enemies faster. Sure you can quick melee to bypass that, but at that range Cerberus will be better in every way. Also you have autos for medium range and marksman weapons for long range, so now it's at a niche position where it's not really very good at any range because there are simply better options.

You guys nerfed Sword too, which tbh was a decent move. The heavy attack damage was too high and made killing everyone too easy because of it's lunge forward. Too bad all the sword users simply started using the SH1900 instead, so they don't miss the sword that much anyways.

SH1900 is now good at the very thing that got the previous 3 weapons gutted out of meta: absurdly short ttk that doesn't rely on help from teammates. Now that itself is not a bad thing exactly, but when you're nerfing other weapons for that very same trait but leave the SH1900 as it is, it just seems unfair and hypocritical. It just sends a bad message.

Messages like "The SH1900 is not being nerfed because the most popular Finals streamers on twitch use this gun a lot, and nerfing it would risk them leaving this game after losing interest and kill the viewership on Twitch, thus resulting in even less player growth than what it already is".

While this message does sound like a baseless rambling, it starts to make more sense when you realize none of those streamers ever really play with 1887, Sledgehammer or the Sword very often, if any at all.

I think the CL40 needs to act more like the heavies MGL. Get rid of the on impact explosion, make it have to bounce, more of an actual skill check weapon not a weapon that I see lvl 8 characters top fragging and ending game with a K/D ratio higher than a lvl 85+. The CL40 is absurdly unbalanced and completely sucks the fun out of the game. Yes you could say ā€œjust use the APSā€ but the cooldown of the APS can’t sustain the amount of CL40 rain. Get rid of exploding on impact and rework it.

Okay eff ESports ur gonna ruin the game by trying to make it competitive, too "FPS like". The creativity of the game lies in its variety of viable guns. Nowadays, FPS doesnt mean it has to have guns only. Guess what, Helldivers 2 is a shooter game, but still has meelee weapons.

Map and Events:

Suspended Structures: Cashout’s tend to spawn on these structures. Please make some essential Ziplines unbreakable similar to how you can’t break the jump pads that are given already in the map. Or make it so that they’re only breakable when the ground beneath them are broken. For example, Suspended Structures on Bernal are only accessible through the Ziplines given which are broken so easily. If you choose not to have a mobility gadget it’s basically impossible to get up there. Destroying the chains is the only solution. Make it so only one chain needs to be broken. Red barrels aren’t always accessible, RPG only has one shot with a long cooldown. Only reliable gadget is thermal bore.

Moving Platforms: Moving Platforms are a problem when it comes to getting on them especially if there is a team defending a cashout. I think the Moving Platforms should have stops, like how you would imagine a train/bus would work. A time to stop and a time to go. Make an audio queue for when it stops and go’s like a bell or something. For example, getting on a Moving Platform in Seoul, most of the time the Moving Platforms are off the map, literally inaccessible. They should have a break when they are close to the ground so players can get on the platform and have an opportunity to fight.

Day 4 of asking embark to please let us use the reserve in ranked :c, it would mitigate the frustration a lot of people have with certain weapons with out the need of nerfing them, it would allow for niche and fun loadouts to be more present in ranked, for that same reason more people would be willing to try new weapons in a serious matter, for example if you've been practicing with the R357 but still feel insecure about your ability to use it effectively you could just bring it and if you don't feel you're ready then you could swap for a more familiar weapon, and I think it will improve the health of the game over all

Most of the time with battle passes, even in a game like Fortnite, the exclusive variants of skins past 100, are the real things to show off. Even then it’s just a simple progression system, so the most you show off is just earned xp. Compared to being Ruby in ranked that’s nothing. Not having the final page of recolored cosmetics in the Legacy Pass is a fair trade off, if you went past 100 in a season and got them? That’s something you can brag about. A ton of other people bought the battle pass, but at least you can say not everyone fully completes it AND goes past 100.

Spear needs:

  • Critical damage for hitting the head. This mechanic existed for Dagger during the closed beta, so in theory it's still possible to be implemented.

  • I won't give exact damage values, but the bonus should be enough to reliably kill Light in two Critical Hits, Medium in three, and Heavy in four.

  • Bring back the sliding spin with a clearer animation.

  • Make the spin only two per press, that third spin is so delayed that it's rarely useful.

  • Make the lunge work on more than just the first swing in the combo. In fact, if they truly want melee to be viable, then all melee should lunge forward with Dash Lights if the swing is used at the same time as the Dash. At least enough to not be completely outdistanced.

In the current state of the game, the only thing that truly needs nerfing is winch. IMO it shouldn’t be in the game at all, but if it must stay, I think it should affect players the same way as it does cashouts—pull them only a little. That way it isn’t the instant win button that it is now. Then you can give it back the longer range so it can be a utility device again, plus you can un-nerf sledge (sledge was never the problem, it was always winch).

Other than that, Embark, PLEASE don’t nerf anything else. MANY more buffs are needed before any nerfs are warranted. Buffs will solve many of the problems that people have with ā€œOPā€ weapons—if more weapons are competitive, oppressive outliers will go away.

All that said, this has been a seriously fun season so far, Embark. Y’all COOKED with the map and QoL changes. Keep up the good work.

A melee weapon is called that because it only works at close range.
And because it’s so risky to get in close, it’s supposed to be powerful up close.
There are plenty of tools and weapons to stop someone from getting close.
If someone manages to get past all of that and closes the gap, it’s only fair they win in close range.

Saying ā€œmelee weapons can’t against guns at range, so why aren’t guns nerfed?ā€ is obviously nonsense.
Just like this, nerfing melee weapons because they’re strong in melee is just as ridiculous.

Instead of nerfing, just buff the other weapons. That way, the players who use those weapons don’t feel unfairly punished, and those using other weapons will enjoy having more competitive options. Everyone wins. So why do you only nerf? Nerfs should be handled with surgical precision, not through nonsense like slashing a weapon’s dmg by 25%.

I am here again to beg for a flamthrower rebalance. Lets run some quick logic tests in a game of "who would win standing right in front of eachother"

a lower HP character hip firing a 6 shot revolver or a higher HP charater with a flamethrower

a lower hp character with a handheld sub machine gun or a 2x health character with a flamethrower

a lower hp character with two handheld blades or a higher health character with a flamethrower

If you guessed the higher HP character with the flamethrower, you would be incorrect for all examples.

But Hanskubie that doesnt make sense? If we pitched that to random gamers almost all of them would guess the flamethrower in close combat right? Are you saying lower health characters with melee weapons can easily out damage a flamethower including all other guns in the game?

Yes, yes I am, and guess what little guy, even though the flamethower has very limited range, it requires you to play smart and get in close on unsuspecting enemies, but dont be fooled! That sneak attack can trick you into thinking you have an easy kill, data shows us it takes a full second longer for you to kill any other player in the game compared to other weapons so your opponent will be using that time to get out of the way and kill you anyways! Since DPS is out of control, that higher health bar doesnt do anything to offset your lower speed and larger hitbox, at least its a quick death right?

But Hanskubie, that makes the weapon really unrewarding to play and in a competitive situation with limited respawns, its nearly impossible to provide value with out constant healing and revives!

Wait it gets better! Since your are going to die in every single engagement and everyother weapon kills you much faster, most of the kills you get will be from the latent burn conditions. So all that kill xp doesnt even get to go towards the weapon progression just to add insult to injury:)

Here is a list of weapons that need to be buffed but not make them overpowered in the next balance patch

Spear: increase the first swing damage in the combo from 65 to 70 making it 70, 80, 90 and increase the spin attack damage to 120

KS-23: increase the projectile speed to 500m/s and either give it a 1.2x headshot multiplier or decrease the fire rate to 73 RPM and increase the player damage to 120

Riot shield: increase the movement speed when blocking

R.357: increase the fire rate from 140 to 160 RPM

Dual blades: make the Deflect more consistent so it can block all melee weapons and increase the first swing damage from 50 to 55, increase the second swing damage from 60 to 65 and increase the final attack damage from 65 to 75 and make it so the final attack can be done faster and increase the movement speed when deflecting by just a little bit and make it so the blades deflect pellets from shotguns more consistently because right now it's bugged and it deflects more pellets at a certain range

AKM: increase magazine capacity to 34, 35 or 36, the choice is yours on what number you choose

ARN-220: decrease the duration of the tactical reload animation from 2.45s to 2.30s, decrease the duration of the full reload animation from 2.80s to 2.60s

Data Reshaper: increase the charges from 2 to 3 and decrease the cooldown from 26s to 20s

In 4.6.0 patch, at sword,
Decreased the length of the secondary attack’s hit sweep by 55cm.

The nerf was too harsh, so in 5.8.0 they reverted it:
Increased the length of the Sword’s secondary attack hit sweep by 55cm.

Back to where it was.

Common sense tells us that just nerfing the hit sweep made the sword a very weak weapon, and you recognized this and reverted it. How does it make sense to apply a nerf that is even more deadly than that? As everyone knows, dmg nerf is a more serious nerf than a hit sweep nerf.
And from 140 to 105? That’s a whopping 35 dmg, 25% of its dmg. Nerfs should be handled with surgical precision, not through nonsense like slashing a weapon’s dmg by 25%.
After that, the hammer went through the same thing. It doesn’t make sense logically, but it happened. It seems like no one on the balance patch team has played melee in WT and Ranked. If they had, they would know how hard it is to respond against shooting from high ground with melees.

Melee has to hit a certain dmg threshold to even be viable. Since melee must get up close to the enemy, offense is always the best defense. The only way to improve the survivability and viability of melees is to give them enough dmg.

"We’re going to continue to monitor the Sword and explore some alternative changes that might allow us to nudge the lunge dmg back up."

"These adjustments are separate from the broader melee quality-of-life improvements we’re planning for the future."

Start keeping your promises. Honestly, I really doubt whether melee needed a nerf at all.
But if I were to make one suggestion for the sword (even though I see no reason it needs a nerf),
At 140 dmg, make it so that when the sword multi-hits, first targets take 140 dmg, and non-primary targets take slightly less dmg. The current 25% dmg reduction is trash, so even non-primary targets should take more dmg than that.

Revert melees. All melee weapons needed their pre-nerf stats, and that’s why they were originally set that way.

Is there any reason to play med anymore? light is alot better in every way "high risk high reward my a**", alot better movement and ttk, feels oppressive to play against, and now can even heal like crazy. Med kept being nerfed, weapons feel like shooting peanuts and every nerf is about "high usage", its hilarious.... been playing since beta but the game now feels really unbalanced between classes and im not sure if ill be back for the next season. Also seen more cheaters lately

I think this is a classic pitfall of balance logic which is "hey because weapon has these XZY positive attributes, it shouldnt be as capable or hard to use" its a dangerous statement because it makes sense on first thought but doesnt hold up on the second or third pass through

yes it can destroy goo (as long as you are willing to wait for it to burn šŸ™‚ ) and yes it takes out mines (as long as you are willing to take damage from them because you gotta be close, no range remember) but so does the primary fire of every other weapon in the game and even with the flamethrower ya gotta aim at the mines and pull the trigger so its not a gameplay change or advantage.

I was sarcastic in my original post but it was meant to highlight that the weakness of the flamethrower is a symptom of an overall unbalance in the playable archetypes in the game.

You got your classic rock paper scissors of Heavy, medium, and lights. The heavy are supporting with higher health, slower movement and strong util (high mag weapons, more damage over an area). Lights are your high mobility glass canons and mediums the happy mix.

BUT, that has been lost. Heavies are shooting with the accuracy, damage, and range of mediums and winning gunfights they shouldnt. lights are constantly invisible and moving/dashing making them play risk free despite lower health. Mediums just suffer both ends of that.

What is the result, well everything at every range starts to become a serious threat, couple that with multiple different streams of damage (random grenades, gas, fire, crossfire) and despite your class/role its met with quick/instant death. That is the state of the game we experience now. Peak out and take 300 damage from sources that dont behave as their general archetypes are expected to do. The burst damage death potential is removing the significance of the differences between classes.

Now apply that to a weapon that is slower to kill with very limited range, sure my aim doesnt have to be perfect but I still have to track my opponent to do damage, how does my opponent counter, well by doing the except same thing (which is fair) Track and hipfire, BUT more often than not you out DPS the flamethower with the same level of tracking and hipfiring. hmmm so the very limited range weapon has no DPS advantage when catching someone in range? Ah perfectly balanced. Now stack on other damage streams, the heavy with a machine gun 2 miles away on a roof doing a ton of damage, the light with a submachine gun doing the same. All the sudden you can only stay up for 1-2 seconds after you start your flames and its barely enough to scrape out a kill.

no amount of utility the heavy can provide can offset that when using the flamethrower, the player cannot defend nor aggress from/to another player without incurring a death from the factors I mentioned and all the "well its aoe and easy to aim" starts to not matter in the setting of an actual game.

I love the finals for the chaos and the havoc, it keeps it unique and competitive, but I feel its lost sight of a character type meeting the conventional expectations of that character type. If DPS is going to stay high across the board then just make the only playable class the medium so I dont have to be let down by playing the heavy like heavy.

When a weapon cant perform as players conventionally expect to, it leads to a lot of dissatisfaction and let down that pulls players away. If the conventional expectation of a weapon cant fit into the game, either it shouldnt be added or the game as a whole needs to be looked at and not the weapon.

Killing melee and causing this game to just be a regular and boring call of duty style shooter….. you’d think with the addition of healing to all classes nerfing everything would be the last thing they would do…. Doesn’t make sense.

The game is still fun but it just seems very limited on ā€œmetaā€ weapons you can use which are all guns….

Another pitifully part of the game is having weapons that require a 3rd bullet for clean kills. Example: revolver does 74 damage REQUIRING a 3rd hit in lights who already have insane damage and dash? I truly feel 2 well placed shots should kill them. It’s beyond irritating to land 2 shots only to get dashed and killed by someone with 2HP? Same for sword….. 3 regular hits to kill a light who also have dash and can easily evade melee??? The combat circle just seems to be a bit broken….

Big wishlist:
Revert sword nerf (PLEASE give it 140 lunge damage, it needs it)
Buff dagger (so much you could do. I think you must: let it backstab turrets and fix hit-reg, then you should do one or more of: reduce charge time, increase backstab angle, slowdown only when fully charged)
Revert sledge nerf (at least the left click part), the range buff was nice but not what it needed
Also with the sledge buff, nerf winch! It’s the problem!
Give riot shield’s baton a wider hitbox, as right now it’s really janky to try and hit lights
Buff dual blades dps
Make breach drill faster and a maybe a bigger explosion
Bring back grenade grappling, and make it easier or reduce grapple cooldown
Make m11 a close range option, XP a mid range one, and ARN a longer range one. Same thing with AKM, FCAR, and famas, respectively
Make fire deal damage faster, without increasing the damage, this is for flamethrower
Spawns kinda suck right now, wiped teams spawn in front of people with the cashbox and block the cashout
Fix performance and freezing
Let us unlock the ultimate battlepass rewards as the $20 tier, and the 20 extra levels be part of the $30
There may be more, but this is what I think for now, and I’m open to suggestions and (constructive) criticism

Hey guys, so the winch has been a thorn in my side recently.

It feels like there is literally nothing you can do once you get winched.

You could be with your team, or at a reasonably safe distance on a flank pushing the enemy.

Either way, if you get winched, it sets the user up for an almost guaranteed kill every time. Not only can you be shot while you're being winched, but the accuracy of your weapon while being winched is so bad that even if I'm aiming directly at the heavy winching me, it never does enough damage to even make the heavy want to back off

Why did we ever change that? Why does heavy have a specialization designed to completely nullify and kill anyone person they pick? Why can't I at least accurately shoot my weapon back at the person who's specialization is almost guaranteed to net me as a free kill anyway?

I'd like to see a revert to the accuracy change while being winched. That way I can at least shoot back while I'm being dragged towards my death.

Your balancing is full of contradictions.

Let me spell it out for you:
A melee weapon is called that because it only works at close range.
And because it’s so risky to get in close, it’s supposed to be powerful up close.
There are already plenty of tools and weapons to stop someone from getting close.
If someone manages to get past all of that and closes the range, it’s only fair they win in close range.

Saying ā€œmelee weapons can never compete against guns at range, so why aren’t guns nerfed?ā€ is obviously nonsense.
Just like this, nerfing melee weapons because they’re strong in melee is just as ridiculous.

Instead of nerfing, just buff the other weapons. That way, the players who use those weapons don’t feel unfairly punished, and those using other weapons will enjoy having more competitive options. Everyone wins. Nerfs should be handled with surgical precision, not through nonsense like slashing a weapon’s dmg by 25%.

Admitting a mistake and fixing it right away is nothing to be ashamed of. What's truly shameful is refusing to acknowledge the mistake and making things worse. No one’s going to blame you for correcting a wrong. Do something that’s actually not shameful, pleeeease.

It would be nice if old battlepass pages costed less. It takes like 30 games to complete a single page. I'm already about to complete the main battlepass compared to barely starting the 3rd page on the legacy battlepass.

Not sure how the devs feel about this, but I know some people complain about winch so let’s maybe try to introduce some additional counterplay outside of glitch. What if shields such as dome and mesh blocked it instead of it going straight through them?

The only other game I’ve played competitively at a high level is Overwatch, and the idea of a roadhog hook going through a Reinhardt shield is terrifying. I know it’s a completely different game that plays very different than the finals but it could be a solution without making the winch any worse.

It adds a fun mini game between heavies trying to bait out the winch or force shield cooldowns.

It was a good idea to make the healing emitter less strong, but at least from my view it just appears practicly useless, even a stray grenade or a shot from the cl40 can make it disappear

I love this game. Played for years. But this season by far has been the worst for me when it comes to crashing, stutters, and freezes. Idk due to adding so much the optimization lowered or whatever (idk how that works) but still. Please fix this

Unfortunately BLAST-OFF is one of if not the single WORST LTM EMBARK has done. It is a far, far cry from the s1 Halloween, Western or christmas event, as well as Easter in s2. I dont remember a SINGLE LTM in s3... It just gets worse and worse. Please put thought and energy into the mode, map, special additions and different gameplay before playing reach in the hat and do whatever

Make the ranked gamemode give more ranked score, based on how much cash a team extracts. This would give teams an incentive to risk fighting despite being in first place, and not force a "worse" team in, instead of the team that should've been in.

I feel like having KB&M compatability for consoles would make the game more open to those of us who cant get a hearty pc to use kb&m

okay dagger actually feels kinda horrible to play.. you can keep the angle just please make it more clear when it's fully charged (the fov change is barely noticeable..make it have a glint on the tip like the bow has) OR revert the whole charging animation thing

Process Laso doesn't work anymore with the finals, when trying to use cpu affinities 1-15 which are performance cores. When the game starts at second discovery.exe pops up with a blank folder in process laso and it won't let me edit it. So it goes with the default cpu affinities and I get a less stable frame rate.

I feel like it would benefit the practice range if on the outside area of the practice range (like the outdoorsy looking thing) embark could add a terminal similar to the one at the place where you do challenges but in this terminal you can pick different environments (like the environments in kyoto and other maps), game events (like meteor shower, low gravity, etc.), and times of day or weather (like night, day, noon, rain, dust storm from vegas) and this could help people get even better practice in dealing with the multiple different environments of THE FINALS.

Just thought about it. Sapphire rank for quickplay? Since ranked has ruby, and world tour has emerald, why not give quickplay some love for those that play quickplay a lot and give them something to earn for playing a lot?

Another one would be Amethyst and Obsidian ranks for just reaching weapon and gadget ranks at like, we will say 12 and 13 (Originally I was going to say 15 and 20, but the Xp grind for weapons and gear in this game is unrealistic for anyone just starting out, and its quite unfair and unforgiving in that regard, and IMO it needs a rework in how its earned and needs to be easier and simplified for EVERYONES sake. I have been playing since season 1 and still haven't gotten a single weapon or gear item past rank 9, and I know there are some people that have gotten max already, but I can't trust those people since you can easily exploit gear XP gain in the game.) and just to show off your most favorite weapons and gadgets to utilize.

Do you know what 'Survivorship bias' is? It’s a logical fallacy where people only focus on those who made it through a selection process while ignoring those who didn’t. When only the players who managed to adapt to using melee weapons are still using them, of course the remaining stats will look good because only the successful ones are left. Anyone who wasn’t good at using melee weapons would’ve just stopped playing them. That’s why, objectively, there have always been fewer melee users than gun users.

So making balance decisions based solely on stats without playing the weapon yourself is absurd. The fact that only a few people are using it means it’s already a weapon for experts. And if only experts remain, of course the stats will look good. And If people are asking for a nerf, it usually means they don’t even use the weapon themselves. Look at Pike. It’s one of the strongest weapons right now, but you don’t see nearly as people crying for a nerf. Why? Because the majority of this game’s players are mediums (actually embark says). And naturally, people don’t ask for nerfs on weapons they like and use themselves.

But I’m NOT saying Pike should be nerfed. What I’m saying is that the other weapons should be buffed to the same level.

Instead of nerfing, just buff the alternatives. That way, the players who use those weapons don’t feel unfairly punished, and those using other weapons will enjoy having more competitive options. Everyone wins. So why do you only nerf? Nerfs should be handled with surgical precision, not through nonsense like slashing a weapon’s dmg by 25%.

Fighting against niche weapons requires a different approach than fighting against guns. But instead of adapting, a bunch of dumb players keep whining for nerfs because they can’t be bothered to change their gadgets or playstyle. You must stop listening to nerf whiners.

Sword needs a 140 dmg lunge. Those original stats existed for a reason: melee weapons needed them to function properly.

1.Winch range is too great. It should not hit on the way back, makes no sense, how can it grab. It's like a stun gun 100+ dmg free unless 1 hp. It can pull into enemy team. It can move objects especially cashouts into the open so it's super hard to steal. Stun gun was removed because it often "guaranteed a kill", yet the winch does the same. + all the listed abilities it is too strong. 2.CL40 is too strong, dmg you could say is okay (100dmg I think a bit too high). It can move cashouts (push them off sth for ex) and flick away trophies so you can't revive. It instantly destroys most gadgets (mines, sensors) and turrets etc. very fast. It does immense building dmg, destroying the structure under or around you very fast so you fall or lose cover (everything destroyed is very annoying). It's also splash dmg so you can hit behind cover, over things or multiple people. So same problem here, too strong with all the added benefits and a pita. 3.Akimbo is too precise, makes no sense as you are holding two pistols without aiming in down sight/through scope, every game makes akimbo weapons unprecise for a reason, you usually get the added benefit of shooting faster and having lots of total bullets (maybe add some). 4.Pike 50 dmg little too high imo. 5.Demat is way too strong, poof wall gone and back again (player disappears to flee). it can make others fall into the team easily. It can provide an instant window to shoot through (infinite angles). It is very strong at following players that are vulnerable as you cut through the wall. It has the mega strong ability of dropping a cash, then you flee/drop it on a pad to fling it/deploy gas mines, makes it frustrating for the enemy team stealing and you waste a lot of time with this. It can usually with the help of a winch or pad, easily fling the cash away to an easy spot. It can create a hole for enemies to fall into as a defensive move. 6.Same spawns are ruining matches as you easily camp them, worst in the final round. 7. LAG

some QOL changes:
1: make it so we can unequip weapon cosmetics in the equipment menu, currently we can only in the character menu which is weird and it makes it hard to change animations.
2: make it so weapons with only one reload animation only have one animation slot in the menu. the minigun revolver and sh1800 are all like this and the percussive tap animation i have to dump all 250 bullets to see it.

This right here is great and also goes into what I mentioned earlier about the classes themselves not meeting the average "conventional" expectations your average gamer has about what being a "heavy" means.

This game is built off high octane fun thats enhanced with unique weapons and gadgets. It is rare that gamers can find something like the dagger, or duel blades that have high skill floors and feel motivated to invest time in your game to learn how to use them well.

Instead of cultivating those players and getting new players in to enjoy the fun, nerfs have come out, or longer range weapons are added in the way @rustic tinsel describes. The results is, no one wants to run dual blades when they get lasered by anyone and everyone. The few players who stick with it and scrape out a playstyle get punished further by changes based on their performance.

Frequent deaths are a part of this game, but the amount of DPS a player can do to another at range is way to high across the board. There is no room for creativity and only space for the meta. When the meta rules, the game dies.

To be honest they should attribute the kill. Add a new notifier (player name + enemy name (Method of death)) then make last hit a debuff that runs out after five seconds or so, that way active gunfights will attribute the kill but it won't be attributed if the person runs off for fifteen seconds and dies to auto mantling onto a ladder they're not facing shrugR

Also in response to DB nerfs, I just time and dodge their first shot - On all classes.

Spawns have been kinda fucked since last update.

  • vaults very frequently (like 1-2 times per round) <100m from cashout
  • spawns strongly favoring one cashout (so spawning 3 teams at one), leading to constant third parties or back to back fights
  • spawns putting both cashouts or both vaults right next to each other (usually once a game, if not more)

All of this has just amplified third partying to an absolutely frustrating degree.

Please Buff the Model 1887.

The current damage of the Model feels extremely low for a shotgun of this type. This weapon should shine at close range, but it loses to almost every ranged weapon even at short distances.
You need 2.6 seconds to kill a Heavy with the Model. That’s an eternity in this game. In that time, a Heavy can easily kill a Medium twice over, with almost any of their weapons. And don’t forget that Model users need to push forward to get value, and yet, they get outgunned even in close-range situations.
Based on this, I propose increasing RPM and slightly reducing the reload duration. This would preserve the weapon’s identity while making it more viable and rewarding for close-range engagements, without turning it into a broken meta pick.

Spear: increase the first swing damage in the combo from 65 to 70 making it 70, 80, 90 and increase the spin attack damage to 120

KS-23: increase the projectile speed to 500m/s and either give it a 1.2x headshot multiplier or decrease the fire rate to 73 RPM and increase the player damage to 120

Riot shield: increase the movement speed when blocking

I know this is about the light class, but I personally think this is why so many people were complaining about CL40 and are demanding massive nerfs to it too. It started being used a lot more because other weapons got nerfed. Yes it is an easy weapon to pick up, but it takes a lot to master as you have to be within a certain range, and there are quite a few counterplays to it due to its slow fire rate and self damage.

What if Dematerialized walls from opponents show up in their respective team's color? I think this would be similar to the dome shield change back in season 1 and it would make sense. Not sure how but you would need to give it contrast to the player. Maybe a darker hue so the wall doesn't blend in with the player?

I feel like this game is too fomo driven with the rank skins I’d like to have to choice of putting the skin on any gun I want after unlocking it we can have it so emerald 4 you get the background emerald 3 you get one skin for and gun on any class you want same with emerald 2 and 1 then diamond and ruby skins you get one choice per season

Dear Embark, bravo on Blast Off mode. It takes real innovation to turn an amazing shooter into a joke by making Blast Off a daily requirement. The CL-40 grenade launcher—truly a masterstroke of balance—rewards minimal skill, maximum cheese, and toxicity cranked up to 11! If you were trying to recreate the spirit of kindergarten dodgeball in an FPS, mission accomplished. Just don’t be surprised when the community stops spending money on your game, your mocked by your partners at Steam & Nvidia, and even manage to piss off that U.S. Senator from Missouri more than you already have (the one that went after Activision & Electronic Arts in 2019).

I used the Orbital Witness headwear with the Virtuseer facewear. It gave this mustachioed man a smile to see that my contestant was able rock a solid lip toupee.

I lost my main contestants appearance when I tried to change the tattoo. And now, the combination is no longer compatible with each other. Please bring my eccentric android facial fringe.

I really wish there was a better implementation to changing sights on the weapons
Not being able to switch sights at the start of the game and NOT EVEN in the training range, having to leave the match, switch, then load in training range again feels like this is a very unpolished system

Playing against cloaked lights who can start shooting while invisible is unfun and cheesy—it requires zero skill. This kind of ability has no place in a competitive FPS and should be reworked or removed entirely. My friends and I have been playing since beta, but we’re not reinstalling until the oppressive lights are fixed.

Embark remove the 45k in one round challenge or reduce it to 40k so its doable in at least one of the casual modes, also while you're at it why not increase the cash earned in quick cash to be first to 50k and make each vault worth 25k so it matches with the final round of cash out and isn't as much of a ball ache grinding the casual modes for the 1 million cash challenge.
Some people just don't want to play cash out so give them options for these challenges.

Getting killed is frustrating no matter what weapon it is, So what now? Nerf every weapon until no one can kill anyone? Or maybe just turn the game into a non-lethal genre?

Meanwhile, Pike, a ranged weapon, outperforms actual melee weapons at melee range.
Your balancing is full of contradictions.

Let me spell it out for you:
A melee weapon is called that because it only works at close range.
And because it’s so risky to get in close, it’s supposed to be powerful up close.
There are already plenty of tools and weapons to stop someone from getting close.
If someone manages to get past all of that and closes the range, it’s only fair they win in close range.

Saying ā€œmelee weapons can never compete against guns at range, so why aren’t guns nerfed?ā€ is obviously nonsense.
Just like this, nerfing melee weapons because they’re strong in melee is just as ridiculous.

Instead of nerfing, just buff the other weapons. That way, the players who use those weapons don’t feel unfairly punished, and those using other weapons will enjoy having more competitive options. Everyone wins. Nerfs should be handled with surgical precision, not through nonsense like slashing a weapon’s dmg by 25%.

Admitting a mistake and fixing it right away is nothing to be ashamed of. What's truly shameful is refusing to acknowledge the mistake and making things worse. No one’s going to blame you for correcting a wrong. Do something that’s actually not shameful, pleeeease.

could we get any attention on the "end of game" sequence? there are a ton of moments that feel really bad as a player, multiple loading screens and moments that take control out of the user, why does it stop you from being able to look at the scores only to load again and show you a different score screen? and then load again for the menu?

someone above said something about wall jumping, what if light could have a gadget/specialty, climbing picks, that would give them an improved mantle (like a wall climb), a wallhang ability, and maybe even a wall jump? that would be super cool (would probably have to be a gadget, because that's very situational, and not versatile, like a specialty should be)

It would be awesome to have the option on the store to buy cosmetics with real currency.
And I don't mean just the special packs, I mean everything.
Just have a conversion to where you can choose to pay with direct money or your virtual cash, too. I think it would be a great change for a better customer experience.
