Demat is the strongest Specialization in the whole game, it has three quickly replaced charges and makes traveling through walls instant, no c4 no rpg, nothing it’s the easiest way to get through walls and close them again, that being said it should take some time to open the walls in and give ppl a chance to react or listen for a longer sound que it’ll also make running from it a bit easier and predicting

Ranked is a joke, it gives less than World Tour gives, has the same level of competitiveness as you can look at the leaderboards in S2 and S3-S4. Everyone split off from Ranked to WT, some stayed.

I completely agree with this opinion.
It’s honestly frustrating to see Embark keep going for nerf-heavy balance patches just because of constant complaints asking for every decent weapon to be nerfed.
Increasing TTK or BTK only makes the game feel slower and more boring, and it’s inevitable that more players will end up quitting.
What we really need is not balance patches that make every weapon unusable, but updates that focus on buffing underused weapons so we can actually have more variety in what’s viable.
I hope the devs consider moving towards a buff-oriented approach to balance, instead of just nerfing every weapon that players find usable.

Change sledge m1 ->110 and the m2 -> 175. I understand that sledge is strong up close. However by changing the damage, it's a lot harder to kill enemies now. It effectively changed the ttk, takes an extra a .75 seconds to kill, even longer for heavies. And for melee, why use it when a range option can just kill faster and at least put out damage from a distance. Melee needs to kill fast in this game to be effective. We already have to position ourselves to be effective, but right now. Even if we do. Its a lot harder to do anything, especially when every class has a way to heal

Here are some LTM I thought of:

Can we get heavy hitters again but instead of hammers its only RPGs and you go flying when your hit? Or maybe a mode where you play dodge ball with the healing emitter as lights with evasive dash but make the strength of the throw and damage really high so you get one shot if you get hit. Make a parkour PVP mode with light + jump pad where its a two lane race with thin structures and long jumps but give us goo grenade or goo gun to disrupt or slow down the players on the other side, put ziplines and jump pads and other types of structures that can be fun for a parkour race. Make a hide and seek mode where its one heavy with a hammer and winch and nine lights with cloak and smoke/flash, make cloak considerably longer but let there be a subtle noise to it when they’re moving like how it is with vanish bomb.

  1. Please fix ranked system the fact that players loose >1k rs for last place is crazy when they get put in 8th seeding while 3stacking. What ends up happening they loose 1k in 10 minutes and to earn it back they have to sweat for 20 minutes to earn 1k for 2nd place for 3rd they get only 600rs which means they overall lost 400 rs in about 40 minutes of gameplay that is insanely discouraging 😦 2. Gawd damn we need to put some money in advertising the game guys (maybe even pay some streamers to play, the game IS READY to be BIG)!

cl40 needs a tone down. It is a fun weapon to use and should be in the game but for the love of good embark overdid it. buffing qol with the arc and the projectile speed was ok but pairing this with buffing the "Direct hit area" something which shouldn't exist imho just pushed it over the edge.
I knew this when we had the cash for kill event last season but now the weapon is so prevalent it is literally sucking the fun out of the game. Buffing aps was nice but it doesn't help the other two classes.

Here is what i think should be the solution:

  1. Buff direct hit damage maybe 120
  2. remove the "direct hit area"
  3. scale splash from 90 down
    Numbers of course are just a guess but this allows embark to adjust the numbers almost for each class. heavies are more likely to get direct his while lights will most likely take splash damage. also direct hit damage can be hugely satisfying to pull off (shazbot!) so it should be rewarded with big damage similar to a head shot.

Dear Embark, I just want to thank you so much for season 7! For me it’s the best of all considering all additions and balance fixes . Only thing I would consider changing is that Ultimate BP should be around 20€ , think 30€ is a bit to much and I fear CallOfDuty like prices in the future 😢. Also the bonus page of BP S7 is really not motivating considering all the amazing stuff that comes before !

Bro the cl-40 is a bit overtuned and just a little overpowered compared to the other weapons but it isn’t that bad, the game is in my opinion the best balance wise right now with the sword being the weakest weapon, it was frustrating to fight against because console players have low sensitivity and can’t turn fast enough to fight the light.

Buff the heavy, this update has been unfair to them completely ruining the Sledge Hammer and destroying any real melee weapons for them to use.

Medium has no real purpose anymore because all the other classes now have heals.

The Recruit & Rise system needs massive tweaks - as it is, it's bound to turn into a smurf-fest with zero actual retention. New player onboarding is not a great experience, and locking the very few super-new players (20 games is nothing, really) to a massive population of 'recruiters' creates an insane imbalance. The Recruiter requirements are high as hell for a game that already struggles to attract new players & has high hardware requirements. Making the 'recruiter-prospect' link last longer, enabling more recruiters per prospect or even increasing the number of games a potential Prospect can play while retaining that status could help. But fundamentally, the game still needs improvements when it comes to attracting and retianing new players at all - because right now, all this system does is expose the existing flaws, not fix them.

Not sure what the solution is, but for a dedicated player, the Show Tokens and VRS are both useless currencies. I have both buckets maxed and nothing to spend them on. I feel like there must be a better way. But then again, I'm not a game developer.

The more movement options I have while playing sword the better I am. It might not be the same for everyone though so I can get why some people will disagree. There's a reason though everyone uses dash with sword. Now hear me out. You make the timing on the lunge jump more generous (I'm not talking about the lunge dash) just enough to where you can do it consistently with enough practice. FLAMETHROWER REWORK SUGGESTION

Flamethrower has been vastly underperforming for seasons, and considering the weapon is almost identical to the weapon it was back in OB, its about time for it to recieve some major changes.

  • Increase its range back to 10 meters: Same range as open beta, its pretty much the only thing it hasnt gotten back.
  • Increase overall DPS by 10: This will still leave it doing much less damage than most weapons, but at least it will be killing a medium faster than 3 seconds.
  • Rework the "ADS" into an Alternate fire:
    - Alt Fire launches a fireball projectile that detonates on impact. Does 70 on a direct hit, trickles off to 30 damage at minimum range. AoE of 3 meters. Costs 5 Ammo to fire, RoF of about 90 RPM. Projectile is about as heavy as current Anti Grav Cube (no "sniping" people with fireballs)
    This would give Flamer a bit more utility and viability at range, without completely invalidating its primary fire.

SPEAR REWORK SUGGESTION

Spear as it stands just isnt working. The spin is a fun idea but its too high commitment, and far too easily punished or whiffed. Its a fun idea but it needs to go.

  • Alt fire is replaced by a spear throw:
    -upon alt fire, Heavy "charges" a spear throw (similar to how TK alt fire works) allowing them to throw a 100 damage spear projectile, with the same weight and speed of a CL40 grenade.
    This gives spear some utility no other melee can claim, allowing heavy to follow up kills that would otherwise get away from him. Though the DPS would obviously be rather low to punish spamming.

KS-23 REWORK SUGGESTION

The KS23 has been in a sore spot since its addition, what little times its stood in the spotlight very swiftly nerfed out of existence, and in the state its in, its been very cruelly power crept out in lieu of other, more reliable close range options like the KS23 and the minigun. More than anything its main gimmick of being an accuracy weapon that isnt perfectly accurate has lead to it having significant issues, and i think more than anything, that needs to go.

  • Primary fire has been changed from a single projectile to a ten pellet spread. Triangular "ten pin bowling" arrangement.
  • Each pellet does 10 damage each, and 100 structural each. (maybe 11-12 each but i know we want to avoid QM "kill combos, though my opinion on that is we should just let lights die fast)
  • Reload now uses the "double shell" animation regardless of if the weapon has been emptied or not: speeds up general reload time when weapon isnt emptied

This change would give the weapon more reliable consistency in combat without sacrificing its main gimmick of destruction.

Here is a list of weapons that need to be buffed but not make them meta in the next balance patch

Spear: increase the basic attack damage combo to 70, 80, 95 and increase the spin attack damage to either 120 or 130

KS-23: increase the projectile speed to 500m/s and decrease the fire rate to 73 RPM and increase the player damage to 120

Riot shield: increase the swing speed by a little and increase the movement speed when blocking

R.357:Increase the bodyshot damage to 75 and decrease the headshot multiplier to 1.9 therefore making it 75 × 1.9=142.5 and also decrease the fire rate by a little bit maybe from 140 to 130 or just increase the fire rate to 160 RPM

Dual blades: add a parry mechanic so it can parry secondary attacks of all melee weapons like the sledgehammers overhead charge and it can also parry the primary attacks and increase the first swing damage from 50 to 55, increase the second swing damage from 60 to 65 and increase the final attack damage from 65 to 75 and make it so the final attack can be done faster and increase the movement speed when deflecting by just a little bit

AKM: increase magazine capacity to 34, 35 or 36, the choice is yours on what number you choose

ARN-220: increase the fire rate to 750 rpm, decrease the duration of the tactical reload animation from 2.45s to 2.30s, decrease the duration of the full reload animation from 2.80s to 2.60s

Smoke Grenade: decrease the ammo from 3 to 2, and decrease the cooldown from 50s to 20s

The Medium CL40 is mad annoying, here is how to fix it:
Instead of nerfing it's damage or radius, turn it into a stick grenade with a delayed fuze. Much like the MGL32 with it's delayed bounce grenade, this ensures it's ability to damage maps is retained, while also increasing the skill gap needed to use it aggressively AND giving it a unique playstyle. Right now, it's too strong to be used as is, and there are little to no drawbacks to using it. Secondly, it order to level the playing field, add a the M320 to Light class. With a similar damage profile to the Medium CL40 (while also being an impact nade) it can only be shot once before reloading- ensuring that it has a drawback for it's damage profile and ease of use.

I love tihis game and me and my 2 top 500 mates spended several thopusend Euros on the game but we will quit it. This dev Team is the worst it ever was. We play either against hackers, boosters or teamers and thiss game just cant fix it. Worst Teamers are Carnifax and Balise but in general most of the top 500 players. Since this game dosent seem to fix this issue we would like to announce now that 200 Former top 500 Players will quit and with that an average of 50 000 Euros a Season will Leave the game as well.

This game has a small community and lives from Players like us but we have to grind 1000 of hours to reach top 500 just cause we dont use boosters hackewrs or Teaming mechanic. Since this dev Team is so bad and will never read the message we will continue to find more Players to quit the game with us (already 200).

I'm no longer gonna say "Revert sword", I've given up hope. My baby as I knew it is gone forever.
I will ask for the secondary damage to at least get bumped up to 124. The Bow, Knives, Sniper, and Dagger can all one-shot me but I'm the bad guy if I hit a Stab-elbow? The two shot combo against the light was not the problem, pre-nerf it had inferior TTK to basically every other Light pick. The ability to two-shot Mediums with two 140 lunges though? That was a bit too easy I'll admit, alongside stab-stab-slash on the Heavy.
The sword simply can no longer fairly compete in 1v1's with basically anybody. If you have a hitscan weapon, you're free to move your cursor/crosshair a theoretically unlimited speed and click on my head. The sword has a STRICT maximum effective speed. Not only do you have to physically travel to your target, you have to wait for the hitbox to actually become active after pressing primary or secondary. Look up "fastest FPS flicks" on youtube and tell me to my face that Sword having inferior TTK to every other light weapon is justified. Tell me how it's fair I have to compete with that. I think that "initial" ease of use should be a non-factor in balancing weapons, you should be looking at the maximum potential. It may be a bit of a problem how well sword can sometimes to in bronze and silver lobbies but we in the biz call that a "skill issue".

The Spy Watch

A weapon idea I had for light. It's a James bond style gun watch that takes the skin of whatever watch you have equiped, defaults to the guns selected skin if no watch is on that outfit. It shoots single bullet at a slow semi-auto rate dealing 70 dmg per hit, probably a .5 second cool down (I want it to shoot slower than other semi-auto rifles/pistols) between shots. So it 3 shots lights, 4 shots mediums, and perfect 5 shots heavies. Probably should have around 10 bullets a clip. This weapon allows you to carry an extra gadget that you throw with your alt fire. You assign the extra gadget to the weapon. So if it's a grenade you throw the grenade, but if it's like the Taser of infuser, it shoots the projectiles from the watch itself. Can't double up on gadgets tho, having 2 infusers or 2 tasers would be busted, tho the legendary quad smoke would be goated. I just think this is a dope as weapon idea and would add a very creative play style. Personally I would run it with the infuser so I could quick swap between healing and DMG.

If there were a way to stop grenade launcher explosions from pushing objects through walls that would be appreciated. Had two situations where this felt like bs to me.

  1. While rezzing a teammate, their statue got blown away from me because a launcher shot landing on the other side of the wall. Pretty sure it was intentional.

  2. While stealing a cashout, the enemy medium shot the ceiling from a floor below making the cashout “skip” across the floor and fall down a hole out of my range. I lost the cashout despite the enemy having bad positioning and not even being able to get to me.

I convinced my friends to try the game so that I could get recruiter rewards. We tried Quickcash and WT. They found it annoying with all the Cl40 boom-bam. Maybe I got used to it, but it's mostly Cl40 in every match this season. I don't have any complaints with it in WT or ranked, as I'm at level 86. But now, playing with my friends on comms, I realized it's really hard for newcomers to like this game, especially with the grenade launchers and healing meta. If two on a team are spamming Cl40, newbies don't even understand what's going on in the game. After playing for two hours, they politely said they couldn't continue. I felt really bad. Thought to share this here. If you're new to this game and not good at movement, you can't escape cl40, you'll get killed instantly.

It shows developers will continue to cave to whiny popular opinion, most of which comes from players who dont fully understand or choose not to play with and around the mechanics of the game. All that will be left by the end of this season will be assault rifles, smgs and the M60/Louis Gun. Everything else will be funny meme/throw weapons.

Revert the sledge hammer change. This is absurd. If a light gets that close (even within winch range) to a sledge heavy, that is a skill issue on the part of the light. Having to use 3 heavy swings or 2 heavy swings and a QM increases the TTK astronomically. Have we even seen another weapon get nerfed into the ground as hard as the hammer before? 200 to 154 is insane. As someone who is ass at aiming guns, you've basically made my favorite most competitive build a moot point. :\

idea! u guys should somehow implement the m79 thumper into one of the classes. its a single shot grenade launcher with the same loading tech as the sh1900 on the light with a small lever that flicks sideways cutting the gun in half so you can load it from behind. now idk how this would compete against different guns but maybe it could be something like the rpg for heavys but for lights or something with more destructive capabilities. like how we have breach charges and c4s. c4s obviously being more effective have less charges what if the thumper had more charges but less damage and destructive capabilities. considering the light is the only class without a grenade launcher i feel this could be a fun addistion especially for more casual players looking for a laugh

Here is a list of weapons that need to be buffed but not make them meta in the next balance patch

Spear: increase the basic attack damage combo to 70, 80, 95 and increase the spin attack damage to either 120 or 130

KS-23: increase the projectile speed to 500m/s and decrease the fire rate to 73 RPM and increase the player damage to 120

Riot shield: increase the swing speed by a little and increase the movement speed when blocking

Is there really any reason to delay?Sword and sledge were fine. They were never meta even before the nerf. They only showed up occasionally in WT and Ranked. Anyone playing just one match could see that.The fact that only a few use these weapons means the weaker players dropped off and only the skilled remain. Of course, skilled players perform well.

There are many examples of games ruined by listening to Reddit, self-proclaimed pros, and scrim groups who follow their own rules, so why are you trying to follow that losing path? Those people don’t help the game at all. If it’s not the weapon they use, they just call it no-skill and whine for nerfs.

Nerf parrots’ arguments don’t make sense. hammer is too strong in melee and needs a nerf? Hammer is supposed to be strong up close. It has to be. If the slowest class comes into melee range, it should be powerful. But now hammer’s left click does 100 dmg? It’s the same damage as the KS you can use from a distance? Does that make any sense balance-wise?
The sword is the same. The DPS of melee is lower than that of guns you can use at range? Light classes only have 150 HP, and melee weapons must get close to deal any dmg.
Sword and hammer are melee. They require high damage output to compete with other weapons in close range.

To be clear,I’m not saying any things need a nerf.
I just want underperforming weapons to actually be usable.

True, but honestly the fact it deals 100 damage compared to the 86(?) for repeater and 74 for revy while being much easier to aim really makes it feel strong as well. As radical as this idea sounds, I'd reduce the damage to 70 to take one extra shot to kill every class, but increase the fire rate slightly and add a 6th round to allow for people to pick it up and be able to use it still as a lower skill weapon. Some tweaks to this idea may be needed, but I think it would make the weapon feel a little less oppressive without nuking it completely.

I know healing nerfs will come this week but there should be an counter to those healings. Something like smokes for fire , fire for gas type of thing. People will say glitch counters it but it gets healing orb most of the time or healing beam if you are lucky. There is not much you can do to counter light healing gun. It heals in range so only real counter is mesh shielding the person who is low.
I really hate the healing meta. It makes the game boring and brakes its core balancing. Makes ranged fights meaningless.

I’ve played a lot of shooters and the recoil on weapons in this game feels just about spot on for every single one. Controlling recoil is for different guns should feel different and it does. That being said I know when I’m being shoot at with someone using 3rd party devices like a Strike pack or Cronus and there are way to many bad gamers with bad aim leaning on these crutches in this game. It’s really a problem that needs looked into. Players need to get good or die trying .

Because melee has damage it must deal, it was set that way from when it was made, and it stayed quiet without any problems since beta. After many seasons have passed, you say you’re going to nerf it? That just means you messed up the patch.
Do you know why this situation even happened? Because all you ever do is nerf things. That’s exactly how you get nonsense like this.
Nerfs are not the only way to balance a game. Buffs are a perfectly valid option too.

Damage nerfs need to stop. Start buffing things instead. Games like Apex Legends and Call of Duty actually pulled out of slumps by shortening TTK, not stretching it out. Nerfs don’t fix problems.They just kill the fun.

If you can’t kill a Light, you definitely won’t be killing Medium and Heavy. Any supposed benefit for Light is always outweighed by what Medium and Heavy gain.

Melee weapons need to be strong at close range. Just like melee can never compete against guns at long range, it only makes sense that melee should win up close. That’s the basic logic.

About Double Barrel, you nerfed it, then reverted. Because Light has low HP, so high DPS is justified. Double Barrel is only viable up close, and it needs to 2-tap Heavy. That balance was correct. so reverted.
The same goes for Sword. It’s the same mistake as with Double Barrel. Sword was built around close-range and Light’s low health.it required specific damage combinations for each classes.

Light should die to lunge + quick melee,
Medium to 2 lunges or lunge + quick melee + left click,
Heavy to double (lunge + quick melee) or 2 lunges + left click.
That was balanced. Sword’s lunge must deal 140 dmg.

The constant nerfs to melee is pushing me away from the game more and more, ive been forced to go to combat knife now because its now the only enjoyable melee weapon, but i already know its gonna get nerfed again because people have a huge problem with dash and melee, but heres the funny thing, you guys nerfing it by adding a huge charge up made me switch to dash, because now im so incredibly slow when moving around while charging up i cant even catch up to a walking heavy, man i use to love running just invis and knife, but thats a thing ill never see again because you guys dont know what you are doing with melee weapons, im taking the little bit of time i have left with this game until all melee becomes gutted, please change in how you do this

Here is a list of weapons that need to be buffed but not make them meta in the next balance patch

Spear: increase the basic attack damage combo to 70, 80, 95 and increase the spin attack damage to either 120 or 130

KS-23: increase the projectile speed to 500m/s and decrease the fire rate to 73 RPM and increase the player damage to 120

Riot shield: increase the swing speed by a little and increase the movement speed when blocking

R.357:Increase the bodyshot damage to 75 and decrease the headshot multiplier to 1.9 therefore making it 75 × 1.9=142.5 and also decrease the fire rate by a little bit maybe from 140 to 130 or just increase the fire rate to 160 RPM

Dual blades: add a parry mechanic so it can parry secondary attacks of all melee weapons like the sledgehammers overhead charge and it can also parry the primary attacks and increase the first swing damage from 50 to 55, increase the second swing damage from 60 to 65 and increase the final attack damage from 65 to 75 and make it so the final attack can be done faster and increase the movement speed when deflecting by just a little bit

AKM: increase magazine capacity to 34, 35 or 36, the choice is yours on what number you choose

ARN-220: increase the fire rate to 750 rpm, decrease the duration of the tactical reload animation from 2.45s to 2.30s, decrease the duration of the full reload animation from 2.80s to 2.60s

Data Reshaper: increase the charges from 2 to 3 and decrease the cooldown from 26s to 20s

hate to say it but im with the nerf cl40 crowd. the cl40 should not out dps any automatic or semi auto medium fire. Mainly due to its ability to hit multiple tagets at once. It should also do 1/3 - 1/2 of you own health bar self damage.

FLAMETHROWER REWORK SUGGESTION

Flamethrower has been vastly underperforming for seasons, and considering the weapon is almost identical to the weapon it was back in OB, its about time for it to recieve some major changes.

  • Increase its range back to 10 meters: Same range as open beta, its pretty much the only thing it hasnt gotten back.
  • Increase overall DPS by 10: This will still leave it doing much less damage than most weapons, but at least it will be killing a medium faster than 3 seconds.
  • Rework the "ADS" into an Alternate fire:
    - Alt Fire launches a fireball projectile that detonates on impact. Does 70 on a direct hit, trickles off to 30 damage at minimum range. AoE of 3 meters. Costs 5 Ammo to fire, RoF of about 90 RPM. Projectile is about as heavy as current Anti Grav Cube (no "sniping" people with fireballs)
    This would give Flamer a bit more utility and viability at range, without completely invalidating its primary fire.

SPEAR REWORK SUGGESTION

Spear as it stands just isnt working. The spin is a fun idea but its too high commitment, and far too easily punished or whiffed. Its a fun idea but it needs to go.

  • Alt fire is replaced by a spear throw:
    -upon alt fire, Heavy "charges" a spear throw (similar to how TK alt fire works) allowing them to throw a 100 damage spear projectile, with the same weight and speed of a CL40 grenade.
    This gives spear some utility no other melee can claim, allowing heavy to follow up kills that would otherwise get away from him. Though the DPS would obviously be rather low to punish spamming.

KS-23 REWORK SUGGESTION

The KS23 has been in a sore spot since its addition, what little times its stood in the spotlight very swiftly nerfed out of existence, and in the state its in, its been very cruelly power crept out in lieu of other, more reliable close range options like the KS23 and the minigun. More than anything its main gimmick of being an accuracy weapon that isnt perfectly accurate has lead to it having significant issues, and i think more than anything, that needs to go.

  • Primary fire has been changed from a single projectile to a ten pellet spread. Triangular "ten pin bowling" arrangement.
  • Each pellet does 10 damage each, and 100 structural each. (maybe 11-12 each but i know we want to avoid QM "kill combos, though my opinion on that is we should just let lights die fast)
  • Reload now uses the "double shell" animation regardless of if the weapon has been emptied or not: speeds up general reload time when weapon isnt emptied

This change would give the weapon more reliable consistency in combat without sacrificing its main gimmick of destruction.

The dual blade parry is weird against mele attacks : Like sometimes it parries a charge n slam from the side, but not from the front. Same with quick mele. Also, the fact that you can't cancel an attack to parry makes the weapon weirdly clunky (I actually don't like cancel animation, but it would be cool to have some kind of quick parry animation cancelling damage from your attack, but protecting you)

Big dagger main here, love the weapon, don't feel like it needs a big up (maybe a tiny one), just better hit reg.

I also wanted to adress the rocket launcher situation. I actually don't think it's op, or doing to much dmg, just the fact that every fight starts with rockets everywhere. It's just annoying and throwing you out of the finals experience. Feels like this gadget only have been made for this : starting a fight and clearly lacks of versatility

And to sum up quickly my thoughts : It's sad to see the game from S1 - 2 - 3 where ppl would go crazy on every weapons, shotgun, mele, rifles, bow, ending up only using fcar, akm, arn, xp and shak... It's just rifles... and cl40. We should probably get an overall refund of mele weapons, and rethink in range weapons.

The H+ infuser needs a slight adjustment. During a hectic fight, its quite difficult to heal you allies with, but when stationary and stealing a cashout, oh man, its crazy broken. A simple nerf would be a boring solution.
I think if the gadget is gonna behave as a gun, then we treat it as a gun. You can do this by implementing "headshots".
The current heal stats, should be for headshots, and bodyshots will give lower heal. So even in stationary situations, you have to think about your aim and positioning.
Also, I feel sorry for mediums, I think you should consider buffing their healing beam. A gadget shouldn't be a better option than a specialization, thats crazy

The double barrel desperately needs a rework. Having a gun that can 2 tap heavies before they can even react without any skill requirement is just bad game design.
Faster reload, faster fire and SUBSTANTIALLY lower damage would make the gun feel more responsive to use, and less absurd to play against.
There’s gotta be a better way to balance lights than giving them an instant kill gun.

People just hadnt been playing CL40 because the shotgun options were just better pre nerf. The reason the cl40 feels so oppressive now is because of the nerfs & its projectiles are able to pass through teammates. It allows double or triple cl40 teams to stack on each other with out any thought about sight lines like every other gun in game has. Maybe remove the buff it got that allows its projectiles to pass through teammates so that the cl40 users have to consider more in a team fight.

Just a list of odd things that I found that make the game feel more inconsistent lately.

  • weird infinite reloading bug.
  • infinite reloading bug also make picking up totems and other throwables not work consistently and sometimes not at all.
  • small actions now cancel reload animations such as running through a door.
  • jumping/running through windows doesn't break windows sometimes...
  • hit registration is still delayed sometimes. Like when hitting players when they are running behind cover.
  • ads bugs out sometimes after dying. All i see is the gun in my face lol

Im curious if other players noticed similar issues.

Personally I'd rather use the model 1887 but it was nerfed to the point where it feels like it shoots rubber bullets. The CL-40 is pretty much a straight upgrade from that. Similar TTK plus splash for nearby enemies if there are any. If there wasn't this constant nerf campaign going through every weapon and gadget in the game, we wouldn't be here complaining about the CL-40 now and the game wouldn't feel so sluggish to play. Assualt rifles and smgs pretty much out DPS everything else now. Just go play COD if you want to play a game like that.

This probably isn’t the place for this, I just didn’t know where else to send it. A mythic land mine skin, that turns the mine into a bear trap. It would be a mythic skin because, not only would it be a complete redesign of the mine, but upon “detonation” the mine would attach to the leg/foot of the player who activates it directly (unless the mine was shot). The trap would thereafter stay attached to the player’s body until the player was eliminated.

I think it's the opposite actually. Light has had almost every weapon and ability has been nerfed. Every season people would complain about an overpowered gun until it was nerfed, not realizing everyone uses it because it's the only viable gun. First it was DB, then XP, the LH1, then M11, and now back to XP. Not to say nothing should have been done, but I feel like if light weapons are good across the board we wouldn't have to nerf medium and heavy as much. Medium/Heavy have glitch mines, proximity sensors, CL, SA12, Cerb, shak, scar, akm. What light weapon, gadget or ability can compete/counter any of that?

So I think a lot of people are disappopinted with Breach Drill as it is just a slower dematerializer with a flashbang effect that's mitigated by the fact that the gadget's noise prompts players to look away from the drill and avoid being flashed. My suggestion would be to increases the speed at which the drill deploys and destroys the wall and shave off 1s or 1.5s off.

The DMR and Sniper problem
All of the DMR's and the Sniper rifle are balance nightmares and personally I think the game could've done without them but I think they can be balanced (mostly)

CB-01 Repeater
Reduce max range to 40 and min range to 35
Falloff multiplier to 0.60
(this is an attempt to stop the repeater competing and being better than sniper at sniper level ranges)

Pike-556
Reduce RPM to 170
(the pike has shown that dropping damage below 50 makes the weapon near unviable but that keeping it at 50 makes the TTK too short, to remedy this making the gun fire slower should bring its TTK back in line)

SR-84
Increase Hitscan range to 100m
(this change should hopefully allow the sniper to play as a sniper whilst avoiding instances of cross-mapping the other cashout in cashout modes)

Gamemode Balance
Due to the negative effect the DMR's and Sniper have on powershift they should be banned from powershift (similar to how Defib and Healbeam are banned in Terminal Attack), not only are these weapons not fun to play against they are not fun to play with and encourage a playstyle counterintuitive to the team aspect of powershift.

The AR's and SMG's of the game have had their ups and downs and struggle to find individual identities at times

Once again I ask to revert the changes done to the spawn system.

The spawn system already sucked and now it's even worse.

It promotes third-parties even more as it spawns you closer to another team already engaging in a fight or even spawn between the middle of the fight.

In this image you can see in the circles where pink is.
During our fight purple appears behind them and they get sandwiched between two teams and killed.

Oh and when coining in you spawn 180 meters away from your teammates, yay!

It will be a hand emote for the left hand (As every other hand emote) which tosses a coin (With a very satisfaction sound effect, like the ULTRAKILL's one) and then grab it in the air and the emote finishes

PLEASE FIX THE SPAWNS !!!! There's no reason we fight a team for a box, win the fight, and then the team spawns close to our destination while we are in route. Please add SBMM or some other change to World Tour matchmaking. Just played against a 3 stack of rubies and a ruby duo in a single round. Some Medium weapons def need to be buffed. The famas, pike, AK, etc all feel so useless now. Especially now that the Heavy meta plagues every match. Imo they should have nerfed some of the Mediums gadgets rather than their weapons/specializations.

Light on the other hand has been getting nothing but nerfs since season 4. (Although Dash should be nerfed imo. I feel like that would balance out a lot of issues people have with Lights). Instead they just keep nerfing all of the Lights weapons.

But Heavies desperately need to be nerfed. I started noticing a trend since Season 4. Embark started catering to new players when they started to notice new players were leaving instead of buying skins due to the high skill ceiling the game once had. So they started buffing Heavy to make new/unskilled players harder to kill and making easier for them to get kills. Heavies literally can play every role in the game now. Only thing they dont have is mobility (and even that can be mitigated through the goo gun or gravity nade). I mean, how the hell does a mini gun or dual 50 cal pistols have more accurate long range capabilities than any rifle in the game??? Make it make sense Embark. 🤦‍♂️

FLAMETHROWER REWORK SUGGESTION
Flamethrower has been vastly underperforming for seasons, and considering the weapon is almost identical to the weapon it was back in OB, it’s about time for it to recieve some major changes.

  • Increase its range back to 10 meters: Same range as open beta, its pretty much the only thing it hasnt gotten back.
  • Increase overall DPS by 10: This will still leave it doing much less damage than most weapons, but at least it will be killing a medium faster than 3 seconds.
  • Rework the "ADS" into an Alternate fire:
    - Alt Fire launches a fireball projectile that detonates on impact. Does 70 on a direct hit, trickles off to 30 damage at minimum range. AoE of 3 meters. Costs 5 Ammo to fire, RoF of about 90 RPM. Projectile is about as heavy as current Anti Grav Cube (no "sniping" people with fireballs)
    This would give Flamer a bit more utility and viability at range, without completely invalidating its primary fire.

SPEAR REWORK SUGGESTION
Spear as it stands just isnt working. The spin is a fun idea but its too high commitment, and far too easily punished or whiffed. It’s a fun idea but it needs to go.

  • Alt fire is replaced by a spear throw:
    -upon alt fire, Heavy "charges" a spear throw (similar to how TK alt fire works) allowing them to throw a 100 damage spear projectile, with the same weight and speed of a CL40 grenade.
    This gives spear some utility no other melee can claim, allowing heavy to follow up kills that would otherwise get away from him. Though the DPS would obviously be rather low to punish spamming.

KS-23 REWORK SUGGESTION
The KS23 has been in a sore spot since its addition, what little times its stood in the spotlight very swiftly nerfed out of existence, and in the state its in, its been very cruelly power crept out in lieu of other, more reliable close range options like the KS23 and the minigun. More than anything its main gimmick of being an accuracy weapon that isnt perfectly accurate has lead to it having significant issues, and i think more than anything, that needs to go.

  • Primary fire has been changed from a single projectile to a ten pellet spread. Triangular "ten pin bowling" arrangement.
  • Each pellet does 10 damage each, and 100 structural each. (maybe 11-12 each but i know we want to avoid QM "kill combos, though my opinion on that is we should just let lights die fast)
  • Reload now uses the "double shell" animation regardless of if the weapon has been emptied or not: speeds up general reload time when weapon isnt emptied
    This change would give the weapon more reliable consistency in combat without sacrificing its main gimmick of destruction.

Oh and like, just make the MGL grenades explode on player contact. Like cmon, TF2 figured this shit out 17 years ago.

Here is a list of weapons that need to be buffed but not make them meta in the next balance patch

Spear: increase the basic attack damage combo to 70, 80, 95 and increase the spin attack damage to either 120 or 130

KS-23: increase the projectile speed to 500m/s and decrease the fire rate to 73 RPM and increase the player damage to 120

Riot shield: increase the swing speed by a little and increase the movement speed when blocking

R.357:Increase the bodyshot damage to 75 and decrease the headshot multiplier to 1.9 therefore making it 75 × 1.9=142.5 and also decrease the fire rate by a little bit maybe from 140 to 130 or just increase the fire rate to 160 RPM

Dual blades: add a parry mechanic so it can parry secondary attacks of all melee weapons like the sledgehammers overhead charge and it can also parry the primary attacks and increase the first swing damage from 50 to 55, increase the second swing damage from 60 to 65 and increase the final attack damage from 65 to 75 and make it so the final attack can be done faster and increase the movement speed when deflecting by just a little bit

AKM: increase magazine capacity to 34, 35 or 36, the choice is yours on what number you choose

ARN-220: decrease the duration of the tactical reload animation from 2.45s to 2.30s, decrease the duration of the full reload animation from 2.80s to 2.60s

Data Reshaper: increase the charges from 2 to 3 and decrease the cooldown from 26s to 20s

  • Why in WT, lose in final round against a tri-stack squad when I'm playing solo ?
  • Add "step" in the reload animation so when you climb on something during a reload, it's not completly reset.
  • Add a report option " Sabotage " in the report section in game please.
  • Let us choose our sight weapons at the beginning of a game
  • Delete low gravity event. It's not fun AT ALL

  • REVERT CL40 BUFF. It's destroying the fun in your game
  • Revert the nerf of the XP54. What's the point of putting XP at 16 dmg when M11 do the same, faster & with more bullets ?
  • Nulifier is just useless. Offer invincibility to the ennemy ? Really ?
    Rework : When you get it by the "Taser" your recoil is increased but you can still move as you want and your take 5 dmg/sec by the electricity. Can hit multiple target like lockbolt.
  • You shouldn't be able to right clic sword + dash
  • Nerf the CB01-Repeater damage or increase the recoil
  • Rework Vanish Bomb. Make it start regen instant. It will increase survability for the Light and it can be use for your teammates too !
  • Nerf Turret range.
  • Reduce the radius of the reflect of the Dual Blade or let us shoot in the feet or something else to let us counter DB when you got an AR like Riot Shield.
  • Nerf the range of the KS23. You can put 100 dmg at 20m.
  • Nerf PIKE to 48 dmg instead of 50 dmg.
  • Rework defib: Reduce the cooldown reset to 5s and give 100HP instead of 50% of your HP. It will force Medium to revive safier !
  • Rework Sonar : Scan 5 times instead of 3 but if you don't move it can't scan you
  • Winch & lockbolt shouldn't do damage. It's strong enough to not make damage
  • Try to rework the ARN into a real AR ? Slower RPM but much more DMG. Something like the FCAR / AK for example.

The effort to play Light correctly is too damn high compared to Medium and Heavy. There is no fun at all playing Light.
You're scared of buffing XP or ARN because of cry baby. The class got ONLY 150HP ! REMEMBER ?!
Meanwhile Medium spam with CL40 and Heavy are unkillable with the new heal.

** 🛜 Servers problems 🛜 **

  • Improve your netcode / tickrate or I don't know what ! Dying behind cover it's one of the most frustrating thing in The Finals
  • Flamethrower and hook should NOT get you through walls, doors and farer than it should be

If the Sword’s lunge doesn’t go back to 140 damage, then it’s just a useless weapon.
If it’s under 140, you can’t use it against Medium or Heavy at all. It has to be 140. That value was carefully calculated and made perfect sense in terms of balance.

Everyone knows Dagger and Sword get countered by Light.
But you nerfed Sword while pretending it was for the sake of Light users, even though it was obviously done to benefit Mediums. You nerfed Dagger too and have ignored both weapons ever since.
People are tired of these blatant patches made only for Medium. There’s a reason people started saying “The Mediums.” It didn’t come from nowhere.

Medium has tons of tools to counter melee.
Turrets, mines, goo grenade, glitch trap, Dematerializer, jump pad, zip line, Proximity Sensor, and a bunch of weapons.
And still, these players cry for nerfs to Dagger, Dual Blades, Riot Shield, Sledgehammer, Spear, and Sword, even though they already have all those tools. They just can’t handle melee weapon because of a skill issue.

Heavy is still powerful at close range, so melee isn’t even a threat to them.

If you keep listening to people who ask for nerfs not because something is overpowered, but just because it annoys them, of course the game will fall apart.
And that’s exactly what you’re doing. Please get it together.

Tons of weapons that were unfairly nerfed or are simply trash get completely ignored.
Instead, you only nerf or buff whatever is most used or most complained about on Reddit.
Is that what you call proper balancing?

About Double Barrel, you nerfed it, then reverted it. Because Light has low HP, so high DPS is justified. Double Barrel is only viable up close, and it needs to 2-tap Heavy. That balance was correct.

The same goes for Sword. Nerfing melee damage is basically saying “don’t use it.” It’s the same mistake as with Double Barrel. Sword was built around close-range and Light’s low health.it required specific damage combinations for each classes.

On a similar not please revert dagger nerfs, especially this seasons, i understand it was considered a "bug fix" but it added unique utility to an already inconsistent and frustrating weapon. The 150 nerf didnt change the perceived facestabs which where caused my server desync, the same reason you can get shot around cover, it only made it more inconsistent for the user. It already has a ton of nerfs that have made it unviable, especially with dealing with other lights that have a much faster ttk and can easily avoid backstabs (losing og stun gun hasn't helped either). Slide degeneration isnt recovered while charged and doesn't work half the time and you are slower than a heavy while charged, making dash almost a requirement, especially after the cloak nerfs. Melee in general has been very poorly handled, ranged weapons have equal to faster ttk, throwing knives can 1 shot a light at a range but sword cant at melee range, there is little reward for sacrificing range. Most are played at this point just because it is a different and more fun playstyle for many players that is becoming increasingly more frustrating. I feel like game sense and coordination should be more rewarded instead of devolving into who can track the head the most consistently with an smg. (Not dissing smg users, just mean other playstyles should be viable.)

Please fix spawns. You're rewarding teams who die first in the game to get the jump on teams who fought and won their battle? We need variable spawn timers and locations depending on many factors like how many cash outs have started, and how many people are alive on map. Too often it feels like just wiping quickly is the best option - and it breaks the game - especially for new players.

Also - please just remove CL40 and Thermal Vision, and even smoke grenades - they're doing nothing for the game because of the terrible/limited counterplay between the classes

Also - talking again with Carnifex wo agrees that teams wiped should be visible on scoreboard in ranked. Don't get the logic behind hiding that. It would at least help because the spawns are bad right now

Here is a list of weapons that need to be buffed but not make them meta in the next balance patch

Spear: increase the basic attack damage combo to 70, 80, 95 and increase the spin attack damage to either 120 or 130

KS-23: increase the projectile speed to 500m/s and decrease the fire rate to 73 RPM and increase the player damage to 120

Riot shield: increase the swing speed by a little and increase the movement speed when blocking

R.357:Increase the bodyshot damage to 75 and decrease the headshot multiplier to 1.9 therefore making it 75 × 1.9=142.5 and also decrease the fire rate by a little bit maybe from 140 to 130 or just increase the fire rate to 160 RPM

Dual blades: add a parry mechanic so it can parry secondary attacks of all melee weapons like the sledgehammers overhead charge and it can also parry the primary attacks and increase the first swing damage from 50 to 55, increase the second swing damage from 60 to 65 and increase the final attack damage from 65 to 75 and make it so the final attack can be done faster and increase the movement speed when deflecting by just a little bit

AKM: increase magazine capacity to 34, 35 or 36, the choice is yours on what number you choose

ARN-220: decrease the duration of the tactical reload animation from 2.45s to 2.30s, decrease the duration of the full reload animation from 2.80s to 2.60s

Data Reshaper: increase the charges from 2 to 3 and decrease the cooldown from 26s to 20s

After the recent damage nerf, I though it would be sick to rework this weapon a bit to the point where 25/35% of it’s damage would source of burning, rather then on-hit damage. That would be a really interesting play style

This ignition thing has so much potential and can be one of the most fun shotguns.

Even a buff to ignition rate/duration would make it a lot different. The on-hit damage could be reduced further in such a case.

Imagine having a flamethrower-like weapon on medium! That would be amazing!

While I know this won’t change your mind, mythic skins are not a poor reason as they have clearly described why they made the mythic tier as a whole, as well as why they increased the price for said mythic weapons. The reason being that each and every mythic skin requires some sort of extra work being put into, whether this be special vfx or custom voice lines or sounds or images or anything. All the mythic skins require something extra, and that means extra work, because of that, they should of course be compensated properly, and that means more payment. Trying to make those weapons cost less is insulting to the devs who put in extra work

Revert dagger nerf (let it backstab turrets again, and increase the angle)
Revert sword nerf (PLEASE give it 140 lunge damage, it needs it)

I've been hearing a lot of negative feedback regarding the medium grenade launcher.

The consensus has been "nerf it pretty pretty please", but I think we need a more fresh approach.

A lot of weapons are starting to feel underpowered in reference to others, and I don't think the solution is to keep bogging stuff down with nerfs. I think some weapons need to be pulled UP.

This makes it harder to stop a heavy from stealing, just a dome shield and healing emitter with a light/medium on another healing item can litterally tank for multiple seconds while stealing

Also the grenade launcher is WAY too spammable for it’s high splash damage, it needs a splash and fire rate nerf tbh

Also long TTKs are important for the game, or most movement tech on maps would be deadly, like jump pads would basically make you a free kill if all weapons were buffed

FLAMETHROWER REWORK SUGGESTION
Flamethrower has been vastly underperforming for seasons, and considering the weapon is almost identical to the weapon it was back in OB, it’s about time for it to recieve some major changes.

  • Increase its range back to 10 meters: Same range as open beta, its pretty much the only thing it hasnt gotten back.
  • Increase overall DPS by 10: This will still leave it doing much less damage than most weapons, but at least it will be killing a medium faster than 3 seconds.
  • Rework the "ADS" into an Alternate fire:
    - Alt Fire launches a fireball projectile that detonates on impact. Does 70 on a direct hit, trickles off to 30 damage at minimum range. AoE of 3 meters. Costs 5 Ammo to fire, RoF of about 90 RPM. Projectile is about as heavy as current Anti Grav Cube (no "sniping" people with fireballs)
    This would give Flamer a bit more utility and viability at range, without completely invalidating its primary fire.

SPEAR REWORK SUGGESTION
Spear as it stands just isnt working. The spin is a fun idea but its too high commitment, and far too easily punished or whiffed. It’s a fun idea but it needs to go.

  • Alt fire is replaced by a spear throw:
    -upon alt fire, Heavy "charges" a spear throw (similar to how TK alt fire works) allowing them to throw a 100 damage spear projectile, with the same weight and speed of a CL40 grenade.
    This gives spear some utility no other melee can claim, allowing heavy to follow up kills that would otherwise get away from him. Though the DPS would obviously be rather low to punish spamming.

KS-23 REWORK SUGGESTION
The KS23 has been in a sore spot since its addition, what little times its stood in the spotlight very swiftly nerfed out of existence, and in the state its in, its been very cruelly power crept out in lieu of other, more reliable close range options like the KS23 and the minigun. More than anything its main gimmick of being an accuracy weapon that isnt perfectly accurate has lead to it having significant issues, and i think more than anything, that needs to go.

  • Primary fire has been changed from a single projectile to a ten pellet spread. Triangular "ten pin bowling" arrangement.
  • Each pellet does 10 damage each, and 100 structural each. (maybe 11-12 each but i know we want to avoid QM "kill combos, though my opinion on that is we should just let lights die fast)
  • Reload now uses the "double shell" animation regardless of if the weapon has been emptied or not: speeds up general reload time when weapon isnt emptied
    This change would give the weapon more reliable consistency in combat without sacrificing its main gimmick of destruction.

Oh and like, just make the MGL grenades explode on player contact. Like cmon, TF2 figured this shit out 17 years ago.

These are changes I hope everyone could agree on and embark could consider:
-Dagger give it bigger backstab hitbox and remove the tracker for left click, backstab feels so inconsistent especially now with the server issues and even without its really difficult to get a reliable backstab
-CL-40, nerf base damage, remove a nade, reduce the explosion radius at least one of the above

  • Rever Fcar recoil pattern
  • Give KS-23 at least 105 damage, it'd make up for the still rather bad ads or hip fire for that matter
  • Sh1900make it 1 shot heavies atp its way too overrated and the damage needs a rework, its reload is also too quick, anyone with good aim can easily wipe 1 or 2 of your team with zero actual strategy
  • Pike give it better hip fire and at least introduce the default XP-54 sight to it, the current sight feels way too clunky
  • XP-54, make it an actual viable weapon at medium range, it was intended to be a after the nerf its hardly any better then AR in even CQC only by the slightest margin, AR just outshines it in 90% of scenarios
  • V9S, make it so it can be used the same by everyone, not better by those who can just click quicker
    And I'm sure theres plenty more but none that have come to mind just yet
    Oh and ps fix the spawns they are sooooo bad in the current game modes such as wt

New OSPUZE/HOLTOW(?) event where you have 1 jump pad and 2 pyro grenades with super small cooldowns. No teams just a complete free for all with a bunch of pyromaniacs jumping around, dematerializing, and light each other and the map in fire. 🔥Flamethrower should set terrain on fire after using 10 ammo and people rarely hide on trees or in grass so setting that on fire isn’t useful,it’s a great defensive utility.
This time the only flamethrower burns the terrain spot u fire for a long time and can’t spread to the entire building cause it’s concrete and not grass

Make 93r have more fire rate like reducing the time between bursts,make it shoot 4 bullets at a SLOWER pace,it’s like semi auto

The ks23 needs slightly higher projectile speed as even in mid range u have to lead your shots and it looks like it should hit but doesn’t,needs headshot 1.2x to make it truly unique and stand out and destruction breaks entire walls,it just needs to break to pass through

Light breach charge needs to stack damage atleast close to what it was in season1

U should be able to charge a riot shield bash by using the weapon inspection button where u hit ur shield with Baton as a taunt and a telegraph to charge shield bash and use it to get closer or knock(5 damage) them off structures

There's an inherent problem of how they designed the "class" system. They give players every specialization and every gadget, so of course they use only the best options.

If it were me, I would have made each Specialization its own class, and limit what weapons and gadgets they get based on that.

So, for example, Heal Beam would be the "Support" class. They would be the only one with Defib, and they would have mostly the mid-range options.

Demat would be something like the "Hacker" class, and they would be mostly close range weapons and be the only one with Data Reshaper.

Winch would be...idfk...the Hunter or something and only have melee, SA1216, and the SHAK-50, but in exchange no Dome Shield or RPG.

They gave players fewer choices because they gave every spec access to every build-specific gadget. You get forced into only taking the best options, instead of spreading those meta-defining gadgets out.

cheating (aimbot / wallhacking / kronus) has never been more pervasive.

dagger is a non-competitive weapon and it breaks my heart. i love the gameplay of contesting the enemy team's position to get behind them, and not taking direct fights, but having spent 2k+ hours with the game and playing the dagger almost exclusively since season 1, i could switch to m11 / xp / sh1900 and get a better result in 9 out of 10 matches. i can't name a single top 500 dagger user and it's for a reason; it's been neglected in the weapon balance consideration. the bugs and counterplay gadgets continue to climb, while the dagger sits in the gutter and isn't considered a serious weapon by much of the community. the asymmetry of the playstyle is really captivating and has gripped my attention more than any other game right now, but needs some help to keep up with other options.

no dagger main, despite countless hours invested, can seriously consider trying out for the worlds until the weapon is brought into line.

as a result of this imbalance, the amount of hate i receive from teammates for choosing dagger before the match even begins in both text and comms should be example enough.

(cl-40 still wins at close range and the feedback calling for additional cl-40 buffs are from clowns deliberately trying to skew the feedback data)

how many seasons til a gemstone dagger reward is offered? there will almost certainly be gemstone rewards for weapons that haven't yet been introduced first. how many seasons til dagger is offered in the new start of season weapon package?

IMO the cl-40 is good again. but they cant nerf it anymore or itll go back to where it was where theres no point in running it like it was. the best way to counter it ia to bring a aps turret. If they nerf it anymore itll go on the list of no use weapons.

Oh my days embark for all thats good dont nerf CL-40 and listen to these whining crybabies

Heavy has enough health to make CL-40 not much of a problem, medium has aps turret and jump pad (for gaining height), and light has a grapple and a sniper and loads other stuff to help ppl win against CL-40 users.

The fact that CL-40 doesnt do well at all against people who are at a height advantage makes it extremely vulnerable at those times so takes a whole lotta skill to use. Nerfing it will just make another med weapon useless and the funnest med weapon shit again.

Literally every single person complainging abt the gun right now is the same person that cried for all the nerfs to so many other medium weapons. They called out for other medium weapons to be nerfed, ppl got discouraged into playing with them, ppl wanted a gun that was fun gameplay wise, so they took CL-40.

You absolutely cannot nerf a gun just becuase its getting used so much more in quick cash. Maybe, maybe if other med weapons were buffed, specifically dual blades and such weapons that have a more unique weapon style, then maybe we mediums wouldnt be forced to use CL-40 when trying to have fun in casual.

TL;DR: CL40 is prob one of the most skillful weapons to use, requires a lot of brainpower that most whiners don't have, and is one of the only actually fun to use guns for mediums. DONT NERF IT, BUFF OTHER WEAPONS FGS.

When people said #freemoolah we were all under the impression that we wanted 100% moo's ON ELIMINATION.
This is a fact, because that's the only information you provided in the patch notes. Something along the lines of 'reduced chance for moo to 25% on elimination'

After the petition was successfully received. You for no fucking reason at all decided to take the piss out of us and make the charm moo every time any small interaction causes the gun to go off screen for any second, making for constant moos.

Noone mentioned this because what we have now is better than no moo's at all, but I think most would agree we were petitioning for a reactive charm.
Also clearly this is an item only you yourself should hear. Not teammates or enemies just you. This is undoubtably in my mind why it was ever 'nerfed' in the first place. Obvious fix is make it only audible to the user.

  • REVERT CL40 BUFF. It's destroying the fun in your game
  • Revert the nerf of the XP54. What's the point of putting XP at 16 dmg when M11 do the same, faster & with more bullets ?
  • Nulifier is just useless. Offer invincibility to the ennemy ? Really ?
    Rework : When you get it by the "Taser" your recoil is increased but you can still move as you want and your take 5 dmg/sec by the electricity. Can hit multiple target like lockbolt.
  • You shouldn't be able to right clic sword + dash
  • Nerf the CB01-Repeater damage or increase the recoil
  • Rework Vanish Bomb. Make it start regen instant. It will increase survability for the Light and it can be use for your teammates too !
  • Nerf Turret range.
  • Reduce the radius of the reflect of the Dual Blade or let us shoot in the feet or something else to let us counter DB when you got an AR like Riot Shield.
  • Nerf the range of the KS23. You can put 100 dmg at 20m.
  • Nerf PIKE to 48 dmg instead of 50 dmg.
  • Rework defib: Reduce the cooldown reset to 5s and give 100HP instead of 50% of your HP. It will force Medium to revive safier !
  • Rework Sonar : Scan 5 times instead of 3 but if you don't move it can't scan you
  • Winch & lockbolt shouldn't do damage. It's strong enough to not make damage
  • Try to rework the ARN into a real AR ? Slower RPM but much more DMG. Something like the FCAR / AK for example.

The effort to play Light correctly is too damn high compared to Medium and Heavy. There is no fun at all playing Light.
You're scared of buffing XP or ARN because of cry baby. The class got ONLY 150HP ! REMEMBER ?!
Meanwhile Medium spam with CL40 and Heavy are unkillable with the new heal.

  • Improve your netcode / tickrate or I don't know what ! Dying behind cover it's one of the most frustrating thing in The Finals
  • Flamethrower and hook should NOT get you through walls, doors and farer than it should be

im not trying to hate here but, as a s2 diamond, ive used to swear this is the best game ever, though the meta at the time wasnt the best, when i tried the game every season after, it just got worse and worse. Light feels useless, and no i not bad at him, ive spammed him to dia back then even though he was considered a useless class (i also played dash and not invis). He, more than ever feels squishy and useless. I get 1/2 tapped by pretty much every weapon thats in the meta right now. every shotgun in the game is ridiculously broken and unfun to play against. Medim guns are at the sweet id say (ARs). They feel pretty good to use and not unfair to verse. Dont really have much to say about heavy, he has nerfed shields etc which is good, also rpgs no longer 1 shot lights, they feel okay going against. Melee weapons have completely disappeared since shotguns are so broken. Invis on light is no longer an invis, u dont ever get invisible enough. vanish nade is useless since pretty much its whole duration you are visible pretty clearly, dash has a longer cooldown for some reason, even though it was never the problem. Ill say tho stungun rework is alright, it feels more fair i guess, even though i think the old one was fine as well (if you could aim). Pretty much what im saying here is that whenever i try and play again the meta just gets me off after 2 games... It really isnt fun at all getting 1 shot by everyone. I hope yaall stop adding more and more shotguns and just play a bit with the health values maybe, thats my take atm. Still a good game, just needs adjustments. Also performance needs fixing. 100-150 frames while i get locked 240 in everything else is kinda crazy (i know theres a lot of destruction etc but just wanted to point it out)

It will be a hand emote for the left hand (As every other hand emote) which tosses a coin (With a very satisfaction sound effect, like the ULTRAKILL's one) and then grab it in the air and the emote finishes

It would be so cool since, the enemies get coined, it would be a very gentle but cool flex

Can we add an auto expression after team wipe (or kill) feature? I have so many of those one handed emote that I never use, would be cool if I could select a couple of them and have one of them get randomly selected after a team wipe. I feel like its the sort of thing a contestant who's pumped about the game would do after winning a fight against another team, would make it much more immersive. Bonus points if you could make it a user customizable % of the time (I.e. 50% chance to emote after a wipe), or also providing options to emote on plug/cashout/revive/kill.

Not sure how difficult it would be to code, but given that the moo charm already kinda does it, I can't imagine it requiring a massive refactor of the system.

Started a ranked match, finally got some semi competent teammates too. Though it was the one where i could finally reearn my points. Turns out, the game had a trick up it's sleave and just put up a messege about a unidetified fiele getting detected, proceded to kick me from match, close the game and fucking forc me to verify files. How the fuck is this accaptable for a game that is supposed to have a real esports turnament where it can happen to any team contending. How is it that** i'm fucking punished** by loosing points for the devs that can't make a stable build of the game? adding on to that my teammates also got punished for your incompetance. Yet here you are wanting us to pay 30 dollars for a game that can fuck you over when it feels like it this should not be a thing, and you know it.

P.S. To this day i did not get any ranked points for loosing a match where some cheater was banned mid game, that shit happened a week ago.

embark i love this new season, but its a bit contaminated with some bugs. one i find particularly annoying since last season is that sometimes the particles [especially with wing emotes] are too excessive and look like a bad photo, it also messes up the sprays where you got your character and pose in it

We prefer a balanced game where players use all sorts of weapons and there being a few weapons that have a higher skill ceiling that are not being used as often (rewarding skilled players) in stead of a game where everyone just rolls the same game-ruining weapons forcing people to either use it or call quits all together. The CL should never have been buffed again after the season 5 catastrophe. That's what happens when devs just rely on stats in stead of actual gameplay.

Weapons that can potentially kill multiple players with one click (like the sword did) is just dumb. Anti-fun and anti-skills. And there will always be users of these weapons whining in channels like these, but that shouldn't be overthrowing everyone else's opinion causing these weapons to rule the game. And yes, that means mostly the casual games like WT etc.

Melee, as mentioned by many, is in the WORST state it has been in since launch. Shame. THE FINALS is a unique game and its inclusion of viable melee options was the sole reason I even gave this game a chance.

You've gotta' update melee and re-strengthen them to be viable. Right now, almost none are up to par.

Not saying they need to return back to their original state, but Jesus are they weak. NO reward for closing gaps or getting in on your opponent. I'm lucky I have some people to play/team up with that make it slightly easier to coordinate, but in a solo queue situations or just playing TDM, melee weapons have almost NO 1v1 capability. Nada. None. The nerfs have surpassed most skill-allowable advantages.

Still waiting on a balance patch for this. Hopefully it comes sooner than later.

The matchmaking in Powershift is out of this world, some of the worst matchmaking i have seen since i've been playing this game. Please do something about it, it's my favourite game mode and 8/10 games i'm facing the toughest and sweatiest teams only to have my teammates leave almost every game and it just kills the fun of it.

there are times when both cashouts are in and a teammate will go down and choose to coin. Rather than a relatively normal distance, itll spawn him or them much closer to the opposite cashout rather than the one we literally still own. Games incredible!

Quick question,

Does anyone else feel like every time Embark introduces a new map, old maps no longer exists? Similar to when Kyoto was initially released, or is it just me? Another thing I want to ask is if anyone else is having performance issues? What I'm experiencing is a bit of input delay, random freezes, jittery gameplay, ghost bullets, and rubber banding. I feel like this game is in the worst state I have ever seen.

For the record, I've been playing since Beta and I currently have 1200 hrs in the game. (Also before anyone says something dumb, yes I have checked my wifi and it is not that) I'm very confident that I have a keen sense on what the game normally/should feel like and it's just HORRIBLE right now. I really hope someone on Embark sees this and comments. Maybe I'm wrong... but I REALLY DONT KNOW WHATS HAPPENING!

If anyone agrees or has experienced any of this could you react to it? If your allowed to in this server, I have no idea

i think if you're getting defibed you should have the option to cancel it, maybe refund some or all of the cooldown but i think the defib needs some way for the player to not get punished for a terrible defib usage that someone else did

Something needs to be done about the CL-40. I'm not one to whine about game balance often but light is almost unplayable with how prevalent it is right now. idk if anyone else has the same opinion as me, i dont really care. Even playing the intended counterplay (height + aps) it still pulls through with ease.

Regardless, you shouldn't be required to play a certain way to have a chance at winning. I'll go 15-3 in a round and still be knocked out because it's just that oppressive when there's more than one on a team.

I haven't been winning at all this season, ive always been finishing second to cl-40 teams. So i tried it, and lo and behold i went on a six tourney win streak.

This isn't to say that there shouldn't be powerful weapons in the game, but any weapon that can 2-shot a light should require skill and effort to use. You don't have to aim the thing, just point and shoot in the enemy's general direction and they'll take at most four shots to kill before they can even get you 2-bar.

Is there some counterplay I'm missing? Is there some secret technique that forcibly disconnects all cl users from the lobby that I just don't know about? Because this is a consistant issue no matter what teammates im playing with. No amount of coordination can compete with the raw and effortless output of the noob tube.

Some specific issues I have:

-Can kill or cripple before the average human can trace the projectiles trajectory and acquire their target.

-Incredibly quiet, borderline silent until the projecile detonates. This worsens the first issue.

-Reloads too quickly- no punishment if you're somehow bad enough to miss a shot.

-Fire rate is too fast. This, paired with the fact that pipes detonate on impact, makes fights against it disorienting even when at a height advantage.

I've loved the finals since season 1, but if the game continues to be in this state i might just quit. The CL-40 just isn't fun to have to deal with in its current state.

Im sorry I can't come up with any specific suggestions for balancing, but it's more of a fundamental issue with how it interacts with the gameplay itself. I don't want the solution to be nerfing it into oblivion, so I can't speak on the subject. That's probably why im not on the balance team at embark.

Idk how badly this will hamstring the CL-40, but since we keep hearing people whine about how hard the gun can cheese Lights...

Reduce damage from 100 to 75
Reduce full damage radius from 0.6m to 0.45m
Readjust the self-damage to match current self-damage values (or not if it feels too harsh on CL users)
But
Give it an additional round capacity.
Then maybe consider if this major change warrants buffing CL's fire rate or projectile flight.

If Lights continue to complain about being two-tapped, idk, nerf the damage to 73 ||then give the projectile homing (jk)||

Alternatively

Just buff the other Medium weapons

Model really could appreciate a reload speed buff, especially as it has harsh competition with other Medium weapon options like Cerberus and Lever-Action which can fill similar niches.

We've been hearing the same bullshit excuse for like 3 seasons already. As if a CL40 wasn't actively trying to always get the high ground. As if the CL40 wasn't currently able to out-DPS weapons like the Model while needing half the aiming skill. But OK nobody knows what they're talking about. I've been using the CL40 and if you don't acknowledge it's an absolute noob gun, you probably need that easy crutch to win.

FIX THE SPAWNS !!!!!!! We lost multiple games due to third parties intervening while were engaged with another team ! Every match played tonight was third party central from start to finish, meanwhile a whole other team is getting a free box and cash out while 3 teams fight for one box !! Not to mention once we wiped a team for the box they somehow spawn ahead of us or near our destination cutting us off from planting the box which makes no sense. What's the point of continuously fighting to wipe out a team only for them to spawn near us while in route to a cash out only for them to get the drop on us and take the box. What's the reward ? Also sometimes you can't even hear an entire team running near you as if the sound is non existent.

We also had a game where we were wiped and spectated one of our opponents. While spectating one of our opponents, he traveled to another building across from the box and aimed at a specific area. Not even 5 seconds later we spawned where he was aiming and were immediately under fire

Hate to be that guy but cl-40 is ruining power shift near entirely by itself alone doesn’t matter how much defense you have, aps turrets are essentially near useless when players can simply spam cl-40 rounds continuously if you wanna make it somewhat fair I think decreasing the firerate would help. Problem is it’s every match, can’t play even one without at least one cl-40 spammer. On average I’d say I see 2-3 per match, not fun at all to play against.

Because melee has damage it must deal, it was set that way from when it was made, and it stayed quiet without any problems since beta. After many seasons have passed, you say you’re going to nerf it? That just means you messed up the patch.
Do you know why this situation even happened? Because all you ever do is nerf things. That’s exactly how you get nonsense like this.
Nerfs are not the only way to balance a game. Buffs are a perfectly valid option too.

Damage nerfs need to stop. Start buffing things instead.

If you can’t kill a Light, you definitely won’t be killing Medium and Heavy. Any supposed benefit for Light is always outweighed by what Medium and Heavy gain.

Melee weapons need to be strong at close range. Just like melee can never compete against guns at long range, it only makes sense that melee should win up close. That’s the basic logic.

About Double Barrel, you nerfed it, then reverted. Because Light has low HP, so high DPS is justified. Double Barrel is only viable up close, and it needs to 2-tap Heavy. That balance was correct. so reverted.
The same goes for Sword. It’s the same mistake as with Double Barrel. Sword was built around close-range and Light’s low health.it required specific damage combinations for each classes.

Light should die to lunge + quick melee,
Medium to 2 lunges or lunge + quick melee + left click,
Heavy to double (lunge + quick melee) or 2 lunges + left click.
That was balanced. Sword’s lunge must deal 140 dmg.

The light gadget literally outheals almost all damage taken making the target being able to tank 400+ points of damage without the health bar moving. The recent patches that adjusted stuff (sword, sledge) were great additions in the right direction. CL40 should follow it's so badly designed rn and overused. Also the heal meta might not have been the best idea, the healing gadgets should be nerfed a bit.

Otherwise the new map is amazing and the game feels great, aside from the server issues that happen here and there but I'm sure there's no point in talking about those.

The H+ Infuser and Healing Emitter also heavily dilute the clearly defined specialisations of the classes (ie. What they should be good at). Medium is described as specialising in "healing and support", Light as "hit and run... ...evasion and stealth", and Heavy "fortification and demolition" if memory serves.

These roles are clearly defined when you look at the classes. Yet for some reason the recent gadgets muddy these clearly defined boundaries. Don't get me wrong, you can play one class in the style of another. Mediums can use both movement devices and demat to create a movement play of the class, akin to light. Light can use sonar, grapple and gateway to create a kind of scout to support.

Yet these do not do EXACTLY what another class is meant to. Light's form of support is in scouting and locating enemies and cash boxes. Medium's is in the healing capabilities it provides. Heavy's is in the defences it can provide and the chaotic demolition it can create.

Each class has their own distinct role, even if you want to play a slightly more transgressive build. Yet this change has opened the door for such things as you rightly suggested, something which I firmly believe would change The Finals for the worse. There would be no point in running anything other than heavy if all the classes had the exact same sorts of stuff. So why is this trend starting now, Embark? Frankly the game was fine without all the gadgets added this season, one is just a worse demat and the other two completely dilute medium's role and have created, in combination with the incessant nerf culture, a very powerful meta.

These gadgets weren't even needed in the first place. They add nothing new to the game aside from frustration from the players, not because people don't know how to deal with them, but because dealing with them is simply far too difficult for many.

I implore you, if you actually read this channel at all, to reconsider these new gadgets and what they bring to the game.

WORLD TOUR OVERHAUL
This was previewed a while back and I’m hoping it comes to fruition, I’d love a party mode for a game like The Finals, something to really mix it up and add a unique twist to the already existing gameplay. Most people live for Cashout, but I really enjoy the other modes like Bank-It (rip), Powershift, TDM, and dare I say… Terminal Attack. (Which might’ve done better if they didn’t guillotine the existing ranked and force everyone to play it for a whole season rather than making it a secondary ranked.)
My biggest gripe is the fact that the two “ranked” modes are objectively the same, both are Cashout.
One is more restricted meanwhile the other allows in-game events, weapon swaps, and no loss in rank. I was kind of disappointed when I saw WT was literally just Cashout 2.0 rather than a series of events comprised of various game modes spanning the worldwide locations we have.\

I mean aren’t WT and ranked essentially the same thing? It feels like with the two being the front runner modes, excluding quickplay, there should be a bigger difference between the two. I don't have much experience with the two considering I typically only play WT for circuits and contracts, ranked just to get perspective on what weapons are frequently used there. You can switch your loadout upon death as long as it's in reserves too (not your spec or class tho). Theres also no "penalty" for losing you don't lose points unlike in ranked.
Ranked is more oriented around competitive gameplay and strategy, while WT is centered around exciting and unique modes that don't fixate on Cashout, might even see Bank-It make an appearance

l'd even be open to the weeks/tour stops to be different modes so people that don't enjoy certain modes can lock in and grind out when their favorite modes come through for the week, but the people that enjoy most modes can play regardless of what's in rotation.
It'll give people the opportunity to see the modes they like come through without it being completely random.

With how serious some people take the game, I know some would be up in arms having their game put on the line by merging teams but it's all apart of what makes the experience unique. It's not always about you, it's not always about how well you play, win as a team, lose as a team. The Finals is a virtual gameshow and there are times when contestants in gameshows lose due to the actions of others. You don't lose rank in WT anyway, so I really feel there's no harm in losing!

I really think it'd be a healthy change of pace given that the two modes are practically identical.
It's the fact that they're the only modes with good ranked rewards and you can pretty much copy and paste what you do in one to gain the rewards of the other, especially stacked.

The Meta Bandits and the Comp Crusaders would riot if WT were to change, but I feel like it'd be a healthy change for the overall experience of the game. Competitive players and casual players opinions should both be taken into account, we're all here to enjoy ourselves!

Needless to say, I feel like World Tour could’ve/should’ve been a mode consisting of a multitude of game modes, like a party (mosh pit) mode that caters to old and new players alike by not fixating on one particular game mode. The Finals is a virtual gameshow and should definitely have more variety to shake things up for the viewers at home.

TL;DR: World Tour and Ranked are both objectively just Cashout at heart, and I feel like a fiesta/party mode would’ve made for a better World Tour than what we got. A party mode would give newer players a chance to get a chance to get a feel for other modes and see what the game has to offer aside from QP, older players would get to opportunity to improve their game play on modes outside of the traditional experiences.

Here is a list of weapons that need to be buffed but not make them meta in the next balance patch

Spear: increase the basic attack damage combo to 70, 80, 95 and increase the spin attack damage to either 120 or 130

KS-23: increase the projectile speed to 500m/s and decrease the fire rate to 73 RPM and increase the player damage to 120

Riot shield: increase the swing speed by a little and increase the movement speed when blocking

R.357:Increase the bodyshot damage to 75 and decrease the headshot multiplier to 1.9 therefore making it 75 × 1.9=142.5 and also decrease the fire rate by a little bit maybe from 140 to 130 or just increase the fire rate to 160 RPM

Dual blades: add a parry mechanic so it can parry secondary attacks of all melee weapons like the sledgehammers overhead charge and it can also parry the primary attacks and increase the first swing damage from 50 to 55, increase the second swing damage from 60 to 65 and increase the final attack damage from 65 to 75 and make it so the final attack can be done faster and increase the movement speed when deflecting by just a little bit

AKM: increase magazine capacity to 34, 35 or 36, the choice is yours on what number you choose

ARN-220: decrease the duration of the tactical reload animation from 2.45s to 2.30s, decrease the duration of the full reload animation from 2.80s to 2.60s

Data Reshaper: increase the charges from 2 to 3 and decrease the cooldown from 26s to 20s

I bought the Ultimate BP. To support you guys, really. But to be honest, from my POV, the price is to much high and should be able to buy IG not by bundle. 20€ will be fairer price if you can regain it in the BP. I bought it this time. Not sure I will do it every seasons.

🎲 For the game 🎲

  • In pratice game, add friendly fire option
  • Improve your matchmaking in World Tour. No more Solo VS tri-stack
  • Add "steps" in reload animation so when you climb on something during a reload, it's not completely reset.
  • Add a report option " Sabotage " in the report section IG when people leave or AFK on purpose.
  • Let us choose our sight weapons at the beginning of a game
  • Random charm list for weapons/gadgets. EDIT : Can we just choose our random skin and not all our skins ?
  • We shouldn't lost point in ranked when a team mate leave the squad and didn't play during the round
  • Let us invite friends or join them in group even if we are not the group leader
  • Add the possibility to look at the banner of friends & recent players.
  • **Give us the possibility to customize rules in private match. Like "only M and Dual Blade", "only Light and SR84", "only marksman", "No heal, Light only and grenade only". You can imagine all you want and put it in private match for streamer & their community to make the game more fun **

**⚖️ For balance ⚖️ **

  • **META Full heal. What's the point when, as Light, you get 2shot by all the META weapons ? Buff Light weapons so they can get a kill before getting Thanosed. **The effort to play Light correctly is too damn high compared to Medium & Heavy class. There is no fun at all playing Light. Meanwhile Medium spam with CL40 and Heavy are unkillable with the new heal.
  • REVERT CL40 BUFF. It's destroying the fun in your game
  • Revert the nerf of the XP54. What's the point of putting XP at 16dmg when M11 (an other SMG) do the same, faster & with more bullets ?
  • Rework Nulifier (again) : When you get it by the "Taser" your recoil is increased but you can still move as you want and you take 5 dmg/sec by the electricity during 3 sec. Can hit multiple target when you shoot.
  • You shouldn't be able to right clic sword + dash. This double dash is unfair
  • Nerf the CB01-Repeater damage or increase the recoil
  • Rework Vanish Bomb. Make it start regen instant. It will increase survability for the Light and it can be use for your teammates too !
  • Reduce the radius of the reflect of the Dual Blade or let us shoot in the feet or something else to let us counter DB when you got an AR like Riot Shield.
  • Nerf the range of the KS23. You can put 100 dmg at 20m.
  • Nerf PIKE to 48 dmg instead of 50 dmg.
  • Rework defib: Reduce the cooldown reset to 5s and give 100HP instead of 50% of your HP. It will force Medium to revive safier !
  • Rework Sonar: Scan 5 times instead of 3 but if you don't move it can't scan you
  • Winch & lockbolt shouldn't do damage. It's already strong enough
  • Rework the ARN into a real AR ? Slower RPM but much more DMG. Something like the FCAR or AK for example.

** 🛜 Servers problems 🛜 **

  • Improve your netcode / tickrate or I don't know what ! Dying behind cover it's one of the most frustrating thing in The Finals
  • Flamethrower and hook should NOT get you through walls, doors and farer than it should be
  • Sword, dagger, DualS or all other melee weapon feels unfair when you think you're out of range and die anyway.

I will always post this now and add some changes time to time.

People getting kills on the platform or killing people on the platform in PS should be rewarded +100 objective score.
Rewards people for assisting in capturing the platform by eliminating the enemy team, or those who prevent that to happen by holding the platform and killing those pushing into it.

just another reminder that your matchmaking in world tour sucks. how do i get paired with trolls (which i have no problem with, its world tour in the end) but get put against meta playing sweat lords like 7 games in a row? explain that to me... so fucking frustrating.

i hate low ranks (bronze and silver) literally unplayable. Mates always suck. There is no way out of them. everyone in my team play light and get 0 kills. You need friends to get out of bronze and silver (I dont have friends). Embark put me in gold or plat pls @gloomy umbra yea

Have a nice day 🙂 our RFAM team (from Czechia) has an improvement. because there are more of us than we would need to solve the system of private matches for the WORLD TOUR or RANKED. Because there are more and more of us and we are trying to let people know about The Finals through Twitch, YouTube, FragMovie. We accept and with open arms we accept and teach new players as it will be this Saturday when we will play a costume match but we are limited by the number and the "mode" of the game. And that is why we would need the WT or Ranked mod. when there can be much more of us, the losers would not be kicked out but they could be in the spotlight and watch the players playing so they could learn something. What do you think about that?

Do you even know what you mean by “increased usage”? It means everything else that was actually usable has been nerfed.It’s not like it just became OP and people started using it.
Stop nerf. You’re patching the game straight into the ground.
If you make other weapons viable, their usage will naturally go up while the usage of the previously dominant ones goes down. That’s what you’re supposed to do.
If all you do is nerf things, the game just turns into a water gun fight.

The only useful thing about the Sledge nerf is that it finally helped 'most people with basic human reasoning' realize how absurd the Sword damage nerf was.
Anyone who has tried using the Hammer after this patch knows it's completely trash now.
And that's exactly what happened to the Sword.

Nerfing melee dmg is the same as saying “don’t use it.”
Sword and hammer are melee weapon. It requires some form of high dmg output in order to compete with other weapons in close range.

I just want to clarify, I'm not saying any of the weapons needs nerf.
I just want MELEE weapon and underperforming weapon to actually be USABLE.
Fix the damage. Im tired of weapons getting nerfed simply because people dislike it(cause skill issue).

I just realized how contradicting it is to have Terminal Attack instead of Bank It in the main Quickplay gamemodes with the two new healing gadgets.

You're essentially adding two new gadgets that will never be beneficial to a gamemode AT ALL since Healing Beam and Defibrillator are replaced.

Day 29 requesting a Coin toss emote (only with "The Finals" icon, not a head or tails emote)

It will be a hand emote for the left hand (As every other hand emote) which tosses a coin (With a very satisfaction sound effect, like the ULTRAKILL's one) and then grab it in the air and the emote finishes

It would be so cool since, the enemies get coined, it would be a very gentle but cool flex

Hope Embark takes note of this, we need it in the game, I would pay for it

Its not normal that I get 1 legacy BP coin for playing 1 round but I only get 2 for winning an ENTIRE WT tournament.. it makes no sense. Going to finals should be 3 tokens and maybe 4 for win.

I really wish I had more motivation to play this season but it’s too dogshit to play further than your daily’s. The server lag is way too much, makes me so angry. Melee (my favorite play style) is completely butchered and not viable. I remember you embark saying you want every play style to be viable. So now, you embark is just fucking lying. And it’s upsetting. I SHOULDNT HAVE TO BE THE ONE PUNISHED FOR AN ENEMY GETTING WITHIN MELEE. Why is it that lights get the most attention?

  • Weapons have different destruction rates. Indicate it in the equipment menu.

  • Some skins don't have the new description you added this season. Like the Projector's cut skin for lewis shows video frames on its magazine when you shoot, creating an animation. Also, idk which one but one of the gold akm skins makes gold sound every time you reload. And, just let us visually see these features IN the game. Don't make us dream or watch it on youtube. That's not how it works. Please make every bit of unique features of the skins clear.

Dagger or Hammer and Sword (except Appoh) But they do it anyway they only lose your players because that annoys. I would love to see the destruction carry over to everything in the game. why are elevators able to survive a nuclear war. let us destroy them cause the healing meta has made it very hard to get in one without dying

sledge likely would not have needed a nerf if winch didnt exist/didnt do what it currently does

thing is, a majority of the counterplay happened before they got that far, shooting them on the approach to get them low before they can damage you back, or just running away when you know you cant take that fight right now
since its addition, winch has been mostly sidestepping this risk (on more than just sledge)

reworking winch would allow players to apply these counterplay strategies again
while pushing the (hopefully rebuffed) sledge back towards a higher risk:higher reward playstyle, rather than the current mediocre, but still pretty abuse-able version when combined with winch

as for winch itself, i think it should turned into strong utility somehow (that cant interact with players directly)
giving it more range to grab statues from far away for safer revives
stronger pull force on objects like the cashout/building debris
maybe straight up ripping out parts of a wall for frequent small scale destruction for creating flank routes/replacing slots that would otherwise be used on destruction gadgets, making more varied loadouts viable

i think this could make it feel a lot healthier for the game on the receiving end, while allowing for more interesting strategies for the user

HONEST FEEDBACK! (After having played this game a lot the past 4 seasons)

Right now after getting revived, you're stuck in a really bad spot because equipment is on cooldown, but you don’t get any invisibility frames, so you're completely exposed. It’s super common to get defib-camped and die before you can even throw goo, go invisible, or drop a turret. There’s no way to defend yourself or reposition, and it feels unfair, especially when equipment cooldowns were added specifically to balance the revive system. A simple 1 or more second i-frame right after respawn would fix a lot. Just to have enough time to get out of the immediate combat. If you take offensive action like shooting, the i-frame could immediately cancel. It’s what most other shooters already do to prevent spawn camping, and this would give players a fighting chance without making revives overpowered. A visual effect could also show when someone has i-frames so it’s clear to everyone. A ton of people on Reddit and Steam have already called this out, and it seems like a missed part of the balance pass.

Also, it still feels like a huge miss that there’s no dedicated Duos mode. A lot of us play with just one other person and don’t always have a third. Running with a random isn’t fun when solo players don't play as a team, and it makes people not want to queue at all. Something like 2v2v2v2 or a smaller Duos version of Quick Cash would go a long way for keeping players engaged who don’t want to solo or fill. Appreciate the updates and gear tweaks recently! They’ve helped a lot but these two issues are areas with amazing potential.

(it's been brought to my attention that they are already in the game, but the issue still stands that I've watched many people get killed immediately after a revive or defib and it seems like a longer period would help, considering gear is unavailable for use)

ITEMS IDEAS FOR HEAVY

1.- DOOR TRAP: Maybe add some kind of chain/string trap lo lock the doors closed and when opened explodes dealing maybe the damage of an explosive mine and then push enemies with great knock back. I think it can be really fun and trollish. Also people maybe will think twice when trying to slam doors open everywhere

2.- DEMOLITION BELT/STRING: You would be able to set a certain amount of meters of this string on floors/walls, and when activated it would make a huge breach, that way you could make distractions when engaging enemies as they wont have to watch only a tiny spot. Also you could destroy small buildings with it easily.

3.- TURRET: Maybe add some kind of turret like medium? Maybe weaker but tankier, like it having 2 barricade plates in attached to its cannon, so to destroy the turret you'd have to destroy the plates first, that way you could fortify a place and add defenses to it, not only mines

4.- MOBILITY: As heavy has little mobility, maybe add some kind of engine/rocket powered item that helps you climb faster zip lines, some kind of tool that boosts you through it, that way you add a little mobility to it without actually making it place items to move, so it will still have to use environment mobility or teammates mobility items
