let's summarize again the great balance edits for ks-23.
Ks-23, a weapon that has probably the smallest peak rate for all time of all existing weapons for a good reason (I met today in one session of the game more players with goofy ahh silly weapon than with ks-23 FOR ALL TIME) was nerfed by cutting out of the game animation cancels that asked in discord a whole 0 people.
But at the same moment in the game there are such gimmicks as:
cerberus, sawed-off, famas, pike(insert any other favorite weapon of sweaty turbo pro players) with a pick rate of "EVERY GAME" percentage that have been arriving in balance unchanged for several seasons in a row.
Simple question. Why does the balance CEO come to work drunk every day and he still hasn't been fired? If he has been at the helm of corrections since the third season(probably since that time things have gotten really bad) then it's high time to do it.

No reload to learn recoil and no cool down for class spec and gadgets for fun ONLY in practice server
The grapple hook keeps pulling u in a wall unless u cancel it but it would be better if u could stick to walls for a few seconds and u can aim and shoot but it's for a limited time to avoid camping,maybe even a wall jump from the wall u grappling to.

With how powerful minigun is the flamethrower to set areas on fire but u have to keep firing at that area for a long time,it's more of a defensive option as u r busy firing areas rather then enemies,also the flame range should increase the more u continuously keep firing plus it takes the whole mag to do that then it's empty so it's balanced,all of this takes time commitment.

The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use,make it so there isn't a gap or less time gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.
V9s isn't fun to use and zero reason to pic over xp and M11 so to make it better it could have perfect hipfire accuracy like counter strike and it would be a unique niche

Add fanning revolver for light with incendiary bullets but they r projectile but hit hard,u can use fanning action to quickly fire bullet.

Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x,wall penetration and NO bullet deviation.

Breach charge should break smaller holes in walls so lights can minimise exposure that large destructon has right now, because u have 3 charges u can still make bigger holes.It should still stack damage.

Make the requirement for ranked/world tour be level 50-60 and force them to use a microphone no matter if they have one or not and disable the mute button for people on console since they cannot see a pc text conversation in the game in the game and put in a request for them to join the voice

Publish from Dressing Room.

I write a long ass comment to appohs video. I wanted to send it hear to.
A team with 50 kills wants to play with team has 1 kill. I don't see a problem. Literally happened today in high diamond/ruby to probably mid plat lobby. We had 50 kills as team and let a team ,who had 2k cash and 1 kill, win by just getting the last cash out. I already talked about it in discord but this is an absurd think. I play solo q only and because I am getting griefed by other teams my rank is just stuck in diamond to low ruby. Because I play solo q if I don't have a team who doesn't play with me or get what I am trying to do means I have to play extra good so I can carry them without even they realize. (i hate trying to explain to randoms) If I can't do that we are doomed to be in second place that means we need to fight to other teams while first team is griefing us.

Meaning: this is a big problem for soloq players who is good at the game.

Possible solutions
1: Make the cashes give you almost same amount in every time. That makes random weak team doesn't get a free win by being bad at the game. But make it balanced so losing the first 2 cashes doesn't mean there is no way of winning.
2:Just change the game mode to final round. I am not a fan of this but it solves it.
3:Add a weird and complex machanic that avoids this thing. I don't like this too.
4:Make the rank system some how understand this is happening and lose less RS for it or just make it more about in game stuff like kills, objective score, combat score, the amount of cash you got. Rank being only about placement is just wrong.

Other than these things this game is not eSports ready. Only possible way to enjoy and watch a fair match is by making the mod as final round of tournament

please stop with constant unreasonable nerfs its destroying the game, causing weapons to lose their identities, and overall, everything just feels worse
things that need some buffs:
akm - 36 bullets (large mag was the thing about this gun and the nerf was completely unjustified)
famas - simply revert it to its season 4 state it was perfectly balanced back then
pike - revert the recent nerf. its now a useless weapon, stripped of its identity. prior to the nerf, it was in a perfect spot (worse than other ars up close, but better at long range combats (literally the point of the weapon)), it just didnt make any sense to nerf it (also we got cb repeater which is just outclasses it)
model - revert it to its season 3 state. it was well-balanced then and only became an issue after other weapons were nerfed for no reason
cerberus - slightly faster reload
lh1 - revert the recent nerf. while it was the best weapon in the game, if all other weapons are buffed, it wont be overpowered and the nerf just killed it
93r - +1 dmg would be nice
sa12 - revert the latest nerf, it was completely unreasonable
shak - reduce reload time
healing beam - revert it to its season 3 state
mesh shield - reduce the penalty for juggling
minigun - better accuracy
cl40 and mgl32 - some buffs are needed
frags - revert the nerf, if you didnt like it being the only viable grenade, you shouldve given the other grenades 2 charges each, or buff the rpg instead of just nerfing the only good grenade to the ground
other nades - as i mentioned above, give them 2 charges each
rpg - reduce its cooldown, lower self-damage (and maybe more damage)
data reshaper - revert the nerf and reduce cd
sniper, pike, lh1 and all weapons should get perfect midair accuracy
sword - you shouldve just undone the 5.8 buff cos it was balanced before that and nobody complained about it
bring back quick melee animation cancelling

and fix matchmaking in ranked stop matching solo golds/plats against full ruby stacks

I'm not defending stacking up because it's kinda it's own problem. If Enemy stacked with good communication, any weapon can be busted to kill single person instantly. I'm gonna call general counters so listen. 1. Stay away from the wall and floors. Most CL-40 players (even me who used CL-40 for 1300 hour) can't run away from the fact CL-40 is heavily dependant on enemy movement. To make it way more managable, people tends to shoot near ground or wall to make a damage because hitting moving object is fairly hard. So like I said, making a goo wall and climb up from it makes you very safe from getting damage from first place. Especially on even ground. Don't forget, it takes 2 shot to destroy goo wall by CL-40. 2. Count enemy ammo. CL-40 has one of worst reload in general. if they empty their gun then now it's your chance. CL-40 takes a fucking 4 shot to kill heavy, which takes 3.0 second to tactical reload or 4.1 second to empty reload. if they emptied their gun now it's your chance. 3. Stacking up is kinda frustrating but if enemy holds high ground, don't forget CL-40 has one of worst ttk and dps in general. Your normal weapons can damage anytime you want if they are on sight. Just put jump pad, hop on together, and place single goo wall would be perfect to make them use their precious ammo. APS would be good because even with reshaper it will takes some time to removing things.

Don't change it weirdly, just revert sword lunge to 140 damage. Lowering the damage of melee weapons is a really dumb idea. sword was balanced.

Anyone saying the 'sword is fine now' are clueless gamers who’ve never even used the sword once, or only tried it in Quick Cash. Right now, the sword is literally the worst weapon out there. It only works on noobs. Melee weapons are supposed to be strong up close—how is it right to patch the game based on people who don’t understand this obvious fact? The melee weapon carries the risk of having to get close to the enemy. A weapon that can’t shoot at range now can’t beat anything even in melee. That’s freakin absurd.

Besides, Your own patch notes literally imply Sword wasn’t unbalanced but got nerfed due to complaints. You separately address Sword as a gameplay change to make it less frustrating.

Whenever you follow their advice on other gaming forums, your game ends up completely broken, and they don’t give a damn—they ignore the dying game and run off. You’re patching the game because some folks claim that camping on rooftops and just shooting is “real skill” and everything else is “low-skill,” and you think that makes the game more fun? The Model 1887 got unfairly nerfed because of the same nonsense. Nerfing isn’t the only way to balance a game.

I have noticed lately it seems to happen every time, but when I'm falling and try to mantle up onto a ledge I just fall as if the server isn't registering my mantle. It's almost as if my input is occuring between the ticks of the server as I see a split second of the animation occuring, but it gets denied.

Shoot give all melee weapons a purpose atp (not you sledge). Spear, Dual Blades, Riot Shield, Dagger, and Sword now are generally weapons you are NOT happy to see your teammates using! Please make these fit better, whether that means nerfing the guns that just outperform melee weapons in cqb (cerb, minigun, double barrel) or buffing the melee weapons something needs to happen. The Mid Season Patch Notes 6.6.0 we need

Weapon Balance adjustments:

  • Cerberus: less range/more pellet distribution /& slower fire rate
  • Pike: 49 dmg /& slower fire rate
  • CB01: Slower firerate /& less range
  • Famas: more Recoil/more bullet dispersion
  • XP-54: More recoil & less range (no other gun is played anymore...)
  • No heavy weapons seems OP compared to Medium wide variety...

Its really frustrating to make your new friends try the gamemode and they find it infuriatingly overwhelming due to the quick respawn times. There's no room for strategy.

Aside from making spawns more extreme (even more further away from the Cashout you 'shouldnt' be hitting up) - I think getting a team designation right as you spawn, with like 3 seconds of Recon Senses, and a cash incentive to focus a certain colour makes a ton of sense.

Sidenote:

Melee players and animations are very frustrating with high ping. Just got killed by a spear from 10m away. I really wish there was a melee free mode, like ranked would be sick.

Revert sword, the damage was fine. Also don't replace it with some other nerf, all the nerfs people are suggesting just wouldn't work, and would gut the weapon in one form or another.
Its illogical to nerf swords damage due to "one shots" when every other light weapon has similar ttk, and mediums have multiple weapons that body light just as fast.
Sword, unlike the other light weapons (besides dagger), has far more counters than other light weapons as well.
Stop listening to people who don't even know how sword works. PLEASE just remove phantoms, revert the damage, then leave the weapon alone. We are so sick of the weapon getting gutted every other season because the community hates sword as a concept.

While we are at it, can we quit the trend of gutting a weapons damage and tech, then leaving it in the grave? Bring back model and KS-23 cancels. They were the whole bread and butter of the weapon.

I feel like devs are commited to remove any sort of cancel for heavy. So how can ks-23 be viable in such poor clunky state. Damage will not get buffed cos it will make winch combo oneshot light. Some people suggest headshot dmg but it wont get implemented for the same reason of possibility of unreactable combo death. Some people suggest no deviation and i dont like it. It will make optimal to just jump around like schyzo baboon and its against ks identity. Personally i would be happy with some overall accuracy buff and removal of damage drop off. I think without cancels dream of viable close combat ks-23 is dead so lets make it skillfull projectile dmr. If heavy can hit mid 3 times predicting and landing hits far away they certanly deserve a kill.

93r less time gap between bursts and slightly less fire rate of burst as each burst is so quick it might as well be on bullet being fired and buff damage to compensate for lower and manageable fire rate.So u can fire slowly to make it more accurate or keep firing it like an auto so u can switch between the two and u have flexibility.

Make dagger alt have one tap like before plus u can hold.

Ks23 need one wall penetration with lower damage after hitting the wall for balance,it needs slightly faster projectile speed and 1.2 head shot multiplier(mainly to deal with other heavies with minigun)

Spent an entire 3 rounds of death match just data reshaping everything on the map, and then sitting in the corner and reshaping the same 5 barrels over and over again. End of the match I only gained 775 xp for the data reshaper.
The xp gain for the data reshaper is really really low. Another gadget that has this issue is the aps.
Both are an extreme grind to level, I think they used to have more charges and maps used to have more items to reshape in the past, so currently both of these items have been balanced for gameplay however the experience gain system has not been adjusted.
Can someone please look into the experience gain for leveling of gadgets?

Add individual map bans for ranked. Starcraft 2 has a similar system. There are 7 maps in map pool and you can ban 3 of them so that you never play on them if you don't want to. I understand why such a system would be an issue for world tour but I strongly believe something like this should be implemented for ranked. Every time I see kyoto or las vegas (even tho new las vegas is more bearable), I want to close the game and just leave, no matter the class/weapon/build. Kyoto is a beautiful map but I would rather play 100 times of any other map than 1 game on Kyoto. Such a system could also factor quick play modes since every time I see Kyoto I just leave to search the new game. Allowing players to choose which maps they want to play will make everyone happy. If you want to play Kyoto or any other map, simply don’t ban it—there may be 24 other players who feel the same way.

Ks23 runs into a very similar problem as other slow semi automatic weapons like revolver and cb-01, its incredibly weak against heavies with only body shots. Revolver and cb-01 have their own fair share of issues, especially heavy being one of them, but they could at least compensate with headshots. Ks23 didn't have this problem before 5.8 update as it made up for this issue with jabs. A big reason why ks23 worked so well with jabs, even though revolver could in theory do the same, is because heavy had a lot of health and worked well as a frontline to absorb all the damage and send it back.

Melees have also become a massive meta hole where the weapons that counter them only works in one scenario and is far too weak in close range, it's also why sword was such a massive problem, and sledge is now seeing a new resurgence as they could winch the cashbox in and force a close range battle. Again, it comes back to jab cancel again. The weapons that counter melee or at least had no problem performing well against sledge were more well rounded and did well enough against other matchups (model, ks23, cb-01 could in theory do better against melee but we'll never know).

Bring back jab cancel please. Ks23 is such an incredibly important weapon to me and it drives me nuts how inconsistent it is and how unfun it became after 5.8

Please update the ARN-220's controls. When I press R to reload, it should fast reload if available.

Needing to empty the mag clashes with the lights hit and run playstyle, in actual gameplay the second mag sees almost no usage in its current state.

Best way to implement - both fast and slow reload have the same animation for the first x ms of the reload timer. single tap starts fast reload animation (no delay). if user presses r a second time during x ms of the reload timer, do a slow/full reload, instead. Since the first x ms of the reload animation is the same for both reloads, it's a smooth transition, and you don't have to add an artificial delay while you wait to verify if the user is pressing r once or twice. (or can hold instead of double press for players that prefer that)

I keep hearing the Cerberus is getting nerfed but I don’t get why. Like not trying to be an ass.. genuinely asking. It’s a solid gun when it works (I say that because it 100% has hit registration issues) and now it’s going to be nerfed? The grapple hook keeps pulling u in a wall unless u cancel it but it would be better if u could stick to walls for a few seconds and u can aim and shoot but it's for a limited time to avoid camping,maybe even a wall jump from the wall u grappling to.

With how powerful minigun is the flamethrower to set areas on fire but u have to keep firing at that area for a long time,it's more of a defensive option as u r busy firing areas rather then enemies,also the flame range should increase the more u continuously keep firing plus it takes the whole mag to do that then it's empty so it's balanced,all of this takes time commitment.

The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use,make it so there isn't a gap or less time gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.
V9s isn't fun to use and zero reason to pic over xp and M11 so to make it better it could have perfect hipfire accuracy like counter strike and it would be a unique niche

Add fanning revolver for light with incendiary bullets but they r projectile but hit hard,u can use fanning action to quickly fire bullet.

Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x,wall penetration and NO bullet deviation.

  • Either limit it's pick rate per team to prevent 3x Medium defibs or lower the defib health regain for Medium as a deterent.
    Buff Riot Shield or change it's mechanics.
    Buff dual blades, or change their mechanics.
    Bring back KS and other animation cancels for specializations.
    Add a grenade indicator.
    Put glitch mines on Light or Heavy and nerf them. Maybe have their do a burst of glitch, not a consistent one.

Overall, I believe this game is suffering from Medium's current style. It is designed to be able to do basically everything combat-wise, which is ridiculous. You want to snipe? Medium can do it. You want to melee? Medium can do it. You want to use a shotgun at close quarters? Medium can do it.
I understand that Medium is meant to be a Jack of all trades kind of deal, but it should be capable at most, but a master at nothing in specific. Instead, it's a must-have for sweats who want to optimize everything, and they get the best of both worlds because of how Medium currently it.

Medium can perform support duties:

  • Healing
  • Defib
  • Mines
  • Turrets

Medium can perform movement duties:

  • Zipline
  • Jump Pad
  • Demat

Medium can perform combat effectively and indepedently with it's variety of weapons.

  • You can have 1 person for long range.
  • 1 for close.
  • 1 for mid.
    While all still having a defib to bring themselves back, effectively giving everyone on the team 2 lives. And also having the movement and support responsibilities that Light/Heavy should be handling.

Medium is the problem in this game because it has essentially nill drawbacks, BESIDES area destruction... which can now just be substituted with expo canisters and grenades. Change how Medium works, stop freaking out about Light and Heavy being too strong, they both have very noticable weaknesses, while Medium really doesn't (other than destruction). It's infuriating seeing the 3x Medium meta, and it's even more unfun to play against. You made 3 classes for a reason, make them all a viable choice, preferably being LMH instead of a 3x of ANY CLASS.

new gameshow event: Blackout. All power in the arena is shut off, making night time maps way more intense and disabling bounce pads, lights, etc. even during daytime

one more event: Streaker. A fan has escaped the stands and is on the loose in the arena! Catch them and get a reward! But be careful not to harm them..

A way to choose which inspection animation plays for your weapon or equipment if you have multiple equipped.

Buff the crane... (stronger cable, more impact damage to arena, just.. MORE)

Add ray traced audio (there's a recent vid on someone who's discovered it somewhere on YouTube).

Allow selection of firing modes on weapons with firing mode switches.

Okay Embark we have a problem. I know this gets brought up a lot but you guys need to do some serious soul searching with this awful matchmaking. I just had a level 2 player in a TDM match go 4-32. And the previous match I had a level 4 go 5-26. I'd ACTUALLY like a chance to win these matches but placing these players in here is essentially rigging the matches. Not to mention, I highly doubt these new players are coming back anytime soon.

Would be nice to have better information post death. I feel most of the frustration in pvp games like this comes from unexpected deaths.

The best would be death cam, especially in a game with wacky mechanics like this frankly I’d just like to see what other folks are doing. That’d also help with cheater ID. But short of that labor intensive option I’d love to know how many shots hit me and where they hit me (i.e. ExoticWeapon did 20dmg body 20dmg body 30dmg head + Fishy did 100 head). And in addition to the damage done to you I’d love to see that stat box stay up and continue to update with damage done by you, tracking burn damage mines grenades or other deployables before the next respawn.

Maybe a better fix for the sword would be to give everyone the ability to parry melee attacks. (except hammer maybe?) Then if you have good timing and positioning you can protect yourself, and the sword can still hit hard and kill fast. The risk of getting into melee range, especially as a light, needs to have a high pay off. One that non-ruby players can aopreciate.

The TTK on your website is total horsecock, its easily within 0.4 seconds, even at a BLISTERING 20 meters AS AN SMG. Way too accurate for such a high RPM. If its going to be so accurate in ADS, it should be nearly impossible to hit while walking, sprinting with hipfire. 34 bullets can kill 3.5 lights all body shots, reload is not horrible at all

  • Either limit it's pick rate per team to prevent 3x Medium defibs or lower the defib health regain for Medium as a deterent.
    Buff Riot Shield or change it's mechanics.
    Buff dual blades, or change their mechanics.
    Bring back KS and other animation cancels for specializations.
    Add a grenade indicator.
    Put glitch mines on Light or Heavy and nerf them. Maybe have their do a burst of glitch, not a consistent one.

Overall, I believe this game is suffering from Medium's current style. It is designed to be able to do basically everything combat-wise, which is ridiculous. You want to snipe? Medium can do it. You want to melee? Medium can do it. You want to use a shotgun at close quarters? Medium can do it.
I understand that Medium is meant to be a Jack of all trades kind of deal, but it should be capable at most, but a master at nothing in specific. Instead, it's a must-have for sweats who want to optimize everything, and they get the best of both worlds because of how Medium currently it.

Medium can perform support duties:

  • Healing
  • Defib
  • Mines
  • Turrets

Medium can perform movement duties:

  • Zipline
  • Jump Pad
  • Demat

Medium can perform combat effectively and indepedently with it's variety of weapons.

  • You can have 1 person for long range.
  • 1 for close.
  • 1 for mid.

Medium is the problem in this game because it has essentially nill drawbacks, BESIDES area destruction... which can now just be substituted with expo canisters and grenades. Change how Medium works, stop freaking out about Light and Heavy being too strong, they both have very noticable weaknesses, while Medium really doesn't (other than destruction). It's infuriating seeing the 3x Medium meta, and it's even more unfun to play against. You made 3 classes for a reason, make them all a viable choice, preferably being LMH instead of a 3x of ANY CLASS.

Also, criticism is welcome.

things i want for the halfway season update:

  • buff sr. make it have 100% in air accuracy, higher firerate and faster ads and chambering time

  • place more glitchbarrels on the maps to make it easier to counter broken specs/gadgets without having to use glitch nades/mines

  • adjust controller aim assist but only for weapons with bullettraveltime like throwing knives and bow. and if you cant do this without making the weapons either too strong or too weak they should be too weak bc fuck every bullet connecting just bc you press one button and the bullet would have NEVER connected on mnk.

  • adjust character movement VERY SLIGHTLY, so you can easier tell if the enemy is about to strafe and in which direction.

  • create a LEGENDARY nice lvl 11 skin for weapons (i wouldnt mind if you need double the xp either)

  • ban sniper from powershift so these people will stop complaining and you dont get confused about sniper feedback (i dont play ps so idc)

  • remove terminal attack bc its boring. maybe include parts of it in other gamemodes as random in game event

  • give us an option to turn off sounds like the crowd cheering midgame as well as the own player moaning after every bit of movement seperately.

  • there are different speeds of climbing depending on the starting height. make it easier to get the fast climb to improve fun and fluidity.

-give us thd option to turn on a setting where you see slight outlines of the enemies hitbox bc people with big skirts and giant heads definitely have a competitive advantage

  • nerf cerberus, pike and famas
    -adjust repeater so it doesnt just destroy lights

  • idea: make quick melee a part of balancing so its easier to balance melee weapons: just increase the duration of the sword lunge animation for example, so you cant just quick melee in the same frame.

  • act fearless. you guys made an incredible job but you act like you are already denounced by bad feedback after controversial changes.

  • do something against server desync.

The cerb, pike, and famas are mostly good balance wise. I think the famas just needs more recoil on the last burst, pike is good, and cerb is fine, but I would prefer the model gets the higher damage while the cerb gets less damage but way more DOT from the fire. Like, let me one hit a light if you want, but it takes a second or two which makes it easy to counter (smokes/meds) but still useful and interesting. Changes its value to be more of a dangerous supporting gun you can use to dish out some DOT in between heals and such.

The ks-23 needs 100% accuracy, any other buff is pointless

The ks-23 is the only direct hit projectile weapon that is not afforded the luxury of accuracy which is the main reason its suffering. In concept its great and i love the gun, but anyone who has played it for any significant ammount of time knows that its main point of frustration is its unrelieability. Because of the spread targets beyond 8 meters are a gamble to hit. The feature inplace to make it a skillful weapon is already the projectile, however this is ruined by the spread. You can predict your targets movement, lead your shot correctly but still miss because the game decided your slug goes left.

The only buff the ks needs to be good is accuracy. Buffs like range falloff or firerate wouldnt solve the underlying issue of it being frustrating to use beyond 8 meters, headshots without accuracy are pointless, damage is going to force winch ks back which was not very fun to die to. A bigger projectile would maybe work but decrease the guns skill expression.

Even with 100% accuracy the gun would be far from op due to the small mag and bad ttk. However it would be a lot more fun and a lot less frustrating to use

also can we get a eclipse shade revolver so we have one that doesnt clash so heavily with the dot sight

Revert sword, the damage was fine. Also don't replace it with some other nerf, all the nerfs people are suggesting just wouldn't work, and would gut the weapon in one form or another.
Its illogical to nerf swords damage due to "one shots" when every other light weapon has similar ttk, and mediums have multiple weapons that body light just as fast.
Sword, unlike the other light weapons (besides dagger), has far more counters than other light weapons as well.
Stop listening to people who don't even know how sword works. PLEASE just revert the damage, then leave the weapon alone. We are so sick of the weapon getting gutted every other season because the community hates sword as a concept.

Also, can yall pls stop the trend of gutting a weapons damage and tech, then leaving it in the grave? Bring back model and KS-23 cancels. They were the whole bread and butter of the weapons.

The Mid Season Patch Notes 6.6.0 we need

Weapon Balance adjustments:

  • Cerberus: less range/more pellet distribution /& slower fire rate
  • Pike: 49 dmg /& slower fire rate
  • CB01: Slower firerate /& less range
  • Famas: more Recoil/more bullet dispersion
  • XP-54: More recoil & less range (no other gun is played anymore...)

Hey I would like to seriously recommend just over powering everything. Like bring cloak baxk to what it was when it outlasted the inactivity timer, 150hp rpg, 2 grenades, 2 explosive mines, give jump pad and zip like like a 10 second or 15 second cool down. Supe up the heal beam and turret with minigun from heavy. Just generally, over power everything. You won't have to worry about balance. Everyone will like their own build. Except defib leave it as is.

Tbh, I dislike the melee weapons. The shield and baton for example - stopping all but like 1% of incoming damage and being a 2 hit kill is ridiculous.
There’s a lot of things added to the finals that detracts from gameplay and makes it less about pace and agility and more about rooting your targets so they’re easy to sucker punch to death.

Oh and comments about Light - why do people always demand Light get nerfed, yet people throw a hissy fit when Light is picked in ranked?

can we get native MnK on console please. Why does it feel like Embark don't want to add this????? You don't have to add input based matchmaking which would split up the playerbase, all you gotta do is make it so you need crossplay on to use it. PC already has MnK and controller use freely so console should be able to too since it's crossplay. This would change nothing negatively it would just let some people have fun aiming with a mouse (0 aim assist obviously). There is no reason not to allow this. Crossplay off on console would of course stay controller only and well on PC you can't stop people from using controller or MnK so if we opt into that environment we should be able to use either too. 93r less time gap between bursts and slightly less fire rate of burst as each burst is so quick it might as well be on bullet being fired and buff damage to compensate for lower and manageable fire rate.So u can fire slowly to make it more accurate or keep firing it like an auto so u can switch between the two and u have flexibility.

Make dagger alt have one tap like before plus u can hold.

Ks23 need one wall penetration with lower damage after hitting the wall for balance,it needs slightly faster projectile speed and 1.2 head shot multiplier(mainly to deal with other heavies with minigun)

Flamethrower needs to put walls on fire when continuously firing as a defensive measure with low damage.

Add individual map bans for ranked. Starcraft 2 has a similar system. There are 7 maps in map pool and you can ban 3 of them so that you never play on them if you don't want to. I understand why such a system would be an issue for world tour but I strongly believe something like this should be implemented for ranked. Every time I see kyoto or las vegas (even tho new las vegas is more bearable), I want to close the game and just leave, no matter the class/weapon/build. Kyoto is a beautiful map but I would rather play 100 times of any other map than 1 game on Kyoto. Such a system could also factor quick play modes since every time I see Kyoto I just leave to search the new game. Allowing players to choose which maps they want to play will make everyone happy. If you want to play Kyoto or any other map, simply don’t ban it—there may be 24 other players who feel the same way.

i played a lot cerberus when it was not good, and i play it less since its meta.
I see a lot of people complaining on cerberus and wish a nerf, imo i like this gun, i don't disagree for a power nerf but I don't want to put it in a useless tiers.

I think you buff it in the wrong way, at the time, I would have liked you improve what it make this gun funny : its fire effect. I always wanted you to make its fire effect more effective at medium range, less random, with a longer effect duration.
I love the idea of a gun that can disturbed health regen delay.
I think this is a good way to think about making this weapon less oppressive without making it unplayable.

Classes in general are mostly balanced.
Still, some weapons with lower skill and extremely high DPS, such as XP, exist and need to be nerfed.
You’ve said yourself that you’re waiting to see how weapons like Cerberus perform, so this week, nerf them to a more fair, less instakill-ish state.

Please add the Barrett SRSS to the heavy class as a second explosive option.
It could have programmable ammo (as irl) where when close enough to an enemy, it would automatically explode (unless it detects it's gonna get a direct hit). Obviously, this means that its AoE DMG would be rather low, but it could be useful for chip damage or finishing off a target you've directly hit a few times.

Yes, I was referring to the main weapon combat. The point of a melee is to be vulnerable at range to be overpowered in close combat (as stated by others above).
If you create a melee weapon that negates damage at range, while keeping its overpowered close quarter nature, then it’s a bad design.

You can’t just “run away” in ranked. The game is played around objectives, not kills.
I came up against a team of three mediums with healing beams and defibs all using the shield in ranked. They were really bad players, yet unbeatable when they eventually took an objective because your team’s kit can’t counter three of them (technically six) due to cooldowns, and you can’t “run away” from an objective.
Oh and in ranked - you can’t change any of your loadout or kit, without ever knowing what loadout your opponent has picked until you’re in game.

It’s a bad design.

Please update the ARN-220's controls. When I press R to reload, it should fast reload if available.

Needing to empty the mag clashes with the lights hit and run playstyle, in actual gameplay the second mag sees almost no usage in its current state.

Best way to implement - both fast and slow reload have the same animation for the first x ms of the reload timer. single tap starts fast reload animation (no delay). if user presses r a second time during x ms of the reload timer, do a slow/full reload, instead. Since the first x ms of the reload animation is the same for both reloads, it's a smooth transition, and you don't have to add an artificial delay while you wait to verify if the user is pressing r once or twice. (or can hold instead of double press for players that prefer that)

Imagine how much of a relief it would be if there were no light, medium, or heavy classes. Everyone would have the same health, and players could freely choose their playstyle. I always see comments complaining that the light class is trash and should be removed completely, or saying this weapon needs a nerf, that one needs a buff, remove this, replace that.

People honestly don’t know what they want from this game, there’s zero communication between players.

Think about it, what if there were no class selection at all?

What if instead, you just played a single Ranked Cashout match instead of a tournament?

Why do we have to play two rounds with four teams fighting just to end up in a final with two teams and then that final ends up being a boring fight?

The game has so much potential, but it’s no surprise that people don’t know what they want.

For griefing, there should be an RS incentive for getting first place or having more cash in the qualifying rounds, making it more worthwhile to not grief other players. If it's placement based, then have a set amount that shows during the loading like the seed placements. I think that being rewarded for first place would help reduce the griefing. However, if a team is more than like 40k ahead (accounting for cash from stealing and 6 kills), they would grief anyways. That isn't too common tho

Nerf defib:

  • Either limit it's pick rate per team to prevent 3x Medium defibs or lower the defib health regain for Medium as a deterent.
    Buff Riot Shield or change it's mechanics.
    Buff dual blades, or change their mechanics.
    Bring back KS and other animation cancels for specializations.
    Add a grenade indicator.
    Put glitch mines on Light or Heavy and nerf them. Maybe have their do a burst of glitch, not a consistent one.

Overall, I believe this game is suffering from Medium's current style. It is designed to be able to do basically everything combat-wise, which is ridiculous. You want to snipe? Medium can do it. You want to melee? Medium can do it. You want to use a shotgun at close quarters? Medium can do it.
I understand that Medium is meant to be a Jack of all trades kind of deal, but it should be capable at most, but a master at nothing in specific. Instead, it's a must-have for sweats who want to optimize everything, and they get the best of both worlds because of how Medium currently it.

Medium can perform support duties:

  • Healing
  • Defib
  • Mines
  • Turrets

Medium can perform movement duties:

  • Zipline
  • Jump Pad
  • Demat

Medium can perform combat effectively and indepedently with it's variety of weapons.

  • You can have 1 person for long range.
  • 1 for close.
  • 1 for mid.

Medium is the problem in this game because it has essentially nill drawbacks, BESIDES area destruction... which can now just be substituted with expo canisters and grenades. Change how Medium works, stop freaking out about Light and Heavy being too strong, they both have very noticable weaknesses, while Medium really doesn't (other than destruction). It's infuriating seeing the 3x Medium meta, and it's even more unfun to play against. You made 3 classes for a reason, make them all a viable choice, preferably being LMH instead of a 3x of ANY CLASS.

Also, criticism is welcome.

just gonna be blunt and say the everything you described medium having, light has. Light has :

invis (2 ways of doing it)
grapple
dash
gateway
smoke+thermal combo

5 ways to evade/move

they have the most weapons with one shot or two shot capability:
double barrel
dagger
sniper
kunai

Light also has the highest ttk gun and most over tuned gun at the moment, which is the xp-54 which can also be used in all ranges if skilled, of course getting weaker at long range but still usable.

you can have one person for** long range** (sniper, lh1)
one person for mid range (xp-54,m11, Arn)
and one for close range (double barrel, pump shotgun, dagger, sword, suppressed pistol which could be used mid range if skilled along with the rest of lights weapons)

finally light has the smallest hitbox and highest natural movement speed

They have more than enough to be viable

Half the things you listed from medium arent that good, if at all, mines nerfed to 1 every 3-5 secs, nobody wants turrent users because its just not viable in ranked compared to healbeam or demat and it takes like 8 secs to boot up and 2 secs to kill, zipline and jumpads are things that legit spawn on the map and the mediums stay unless broken or reused so its not like its exclusive just for them to use, you can legit follow them with their "movement". The only reason L L L doesn't work compared to M M M as much is because mediums can heal, thats it. Even then, you can steal easily beat it if you just play as a team and target people, or even used smoke to steal if its objective you are worried about, turrent cant see through smoke and neither can the player, esp if you have invis

The only thing I agree with is the Ceberus needing a nerf

The grapple hook keeps pulling u in a wall unless u cancel it but it would be better if u could stick to walls for a few seconds and u can aim and shoot but it's for a limited time to avoid camping,maybe even a wall jump from the wall u grappling to.

With how powerful minigun is the flamethrower to set areas on fire but u have to keep firing at that area for a long time,it's more of a defensive option as u r busy firing areas rather then enemies,also the flame range should increase the more u continuously keep firing plus it takes the whole mag to do that then it's empty so it's balanced,all of this takes time commitment.

The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use,make it so there isn't a gap or less time gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.
V9s isn't fun to use and zero reason to pic over xp and M11 so to make it better it could have perfect hipfire accuracy like counter strike and it would be a unique niche

Add fanning revolver for light with incendiary bullets but they r projectile but hit hard,u can use fanning action to quickly fire bullet.

Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x,wall penetration and NO bullet deviation.

Breach charge should break smaller holes in walls so lights can minimise exposure that large destructon has right now, because u have 3 charges u can still make bigger holes.It should still stack damage.

...you're just being dumb to troll right? I've said twice already, maybe even three times, that I'm talking about ranked. The objective is to STAND STILL at a SMALL AREA for like 10 seconds to capture it... or you hold it for 90s.

When there are THREE Ms all using the shield and baton, one captures, the other two stand there shielding, there's nothing any primary weapon can do to stop it. It is a FREE capture of the objective in ranked, and you're a sitting duck to anyone with a baton and shield with smoke grenades if you try to capture it back.

Claiming that isn't a bad design when there's such a hard cheese strategy where you don't even have to be good to win games isn't a smart thing to claim.

yes... you can force them into a bad position by going in for a steal. A triple riot shield team has zero ability to hold down sightlines, and hence you can force them to go into direct contact with you via the objective, which enables extremely effective use of positioning and AOE in order to deal very efficient damage to them. They don't have an effective counter to that aside from moving the cashout, so you'd need to be aware of that, but in this scenario they don't have demat.

if they were clumped up for a steal then it wouldn't be too big of a deal still, riot shields can only block a fairly small angle and are not able to protect upwards (despite how it looks for the user), so if you could get above the cashout or had any grenades then it'd be fairly easy, or any abilities such as c&s or winch, or any melees, flamethrower or grenade launchers. Also note that they would have to use a gadget to safely remove any kind of mine. If that was really a viable strategy then you can bet the ruby grinders would be doing it.

Add kusarigama for light OR MEDIUM class,primary attacks hit like sword but alt attack is u spin the chain and blade 160 degrees in front of u and most damage ONLY where blade hits NOT the WHOLE CHAIN,it’s skill based cause u hold down alt and the more u hold the longer u throw and only the blade part damages when spinning plus u can move your aim while spinning to make blade go in that direction,a mix of projectile and melee.

To simply put it,the melee alt is more like aim and shoot but use aim to move the blade and hit box.

There r two ways of implementing this,either the melee projectile starts from an arc from the left side and goes to the centre line and move as u change your aim or the projectile starts from the crosshairs and moves where u move your aim

U may change between the two using a different stance using the weapon inspection button or add more combos using that button.

Either u can’t use light spec when using alt or give this weapon to medium with a wall run gadget or else it’s the most dull experience chasing player as a medium

And of course, if you post any criticism they don't like, they ban you... just like they’ve already done to several of my friends.
If you tell them everything is perfect and wonderful, they might even reply to you, but if you say what a large part of the former players actually think, then you get banned...

Light Sniper needs a rework. It's getting spammed more and more in Powershift. It needs a bodyshot nerf. Keep the high damage headshot multiplier, but knock those bodyshots down to like, 50 damage. Right now everyone just dumps rounds downrange and goes for quanity over quality.

I know yall are just gonna say get better but I genuinely cant enjoy this game. I peaked at the bare minimum required to be plat 4 and that took me grinding 12 hour days sweating feeling horrible after gaming sessions. Since ive been steadily stuck in gold 2/gold 1. for some reason I am consistently placed in lobbies with multiple rubies, mostly diamonds, and the standard player with 25 wins but is ruby tier. i get notifications that my cheating reports result in action from embarks team. winning a game feels like an act of God and it has just been insanely unfun the past few months. I feel as though there is a fairly large cheater issue on top of some very bad matchmaking. after a 2 week break I immediately am feeling burnt out again.

Can we get a serious effort at server and game satiability. not once last season did i have world tour crashes within my 3-4 hour session. but this season im getting " crash report handler " and " unreal fatal crash " more than i can play the game. every world tour each match i get disconnected with a crash. and I've lost so many world tours due to that reason. as well going through the bug reports some people cant even play the game this season cause the crashes are that bad. not to mention the wonderful way this game can blue screen a pc. for the love of god and everything holy can we please get some effort into this issue.

Hey just to help clear things up - if you're talking about the review spike in November 2024, that was because of the Steam Awards. One of the quests was to review or update a review for a nominated game and the FINALS was nominated so they got a lot of reviews from people completing that quest.
If you look at other games that were part of the rewards, you'll see a spike in the same timeframe like Liar's Bar, Ghost of Tsushima, Palworld (and really all the games that were finalists in the 2024 Steam awards) Hope this helps make sense of that spike!

I hope they do tweak sword to be back to reasonable strength, but at least the new "nullifier" isn't going to dig it even deeper, otherwise it might go from a bottom three weapon to the worst (;

    Buff Riot Shield or change it's mechanics.

    Bring back KS and other animation cancels for specializations.
    Add a grenade indicator.
    Put glitch mines on Light or Heavy and nerf them. Maybe have their do a burst of glitch, not a consistent one.

Overall, I believe this game is suffering from Medium's current style. It is designed to be able to do basically everything combat-wise, which is ridiculous. You want to snipe? Medium can do it. You want to melee? Medium can do it. You want to use a shotgun at close quarters? Medium can do it.
I understand that Medium is meant to be a Jack of all trades kind of deal, but it should be capable at most, but a master at nothing in specific. Instead, it's a must-have for sweats who want to optimize everything, and they get the best of both worlds because of how Medium currently it.

Medium can perform support duties:

  • Healing
  • Defib
  • Mines
  • Turrets

Medium can perform movement duties:

  • Zipline
  • Jump Pad
  • Demat

Medium can perform combat effectively and indepedently with it's variety of weapons.

  • You can have 1 person for long range.
  • 1 for close.
  • 1 for mid.

Medium is the problem in this game because it has essentially nill drawbacks, BESIDES area destruction... which can now just be substituted with expo canisters and grenades. Change how Medium works, stop freaking out about Light and Heavy being too strong, they both have very noticable weaknesses, while Medium really doesn't (other than destruction). It's infuriating seeing the 3x Medium meta, and it's even more unfun to play against. You made 3 classes for a reason, make them all a viable choice, preferably being LMH instead of a 3x of ANY CLASS.

Also, criticism is welcome.

  2. I don't think putting glitch mines on light or heavy is a solution at all, even if you removed them from medium. They honestly don't belong in the game at all IMO.
  3. The glitch mines originally were explosion based like every other mine, and then were changed, so it's clear the fuck you tendril is what they want. It should however get a nerf, imo a maximum time it can be activated (so health decay) for and a much louder and more obvious sound to make it less of a surprise.

Weapon Balance adjustments:

  • Cerberus: less range/more pellet distribution /& slower fire rate

things i want for the halfway season update:

  • buff sr. make it have 100% in air accuracy, higher firerate and faster ads and chambering time

  • place more glitchbarrels on the maps to make it easier to counter broken specs/gadgets without having to use glitch nades/mines

  • adjust controller aim assist but only for weapons with bullettraveltime like throwing knives and bow. and if you cant do this without making the weapons either too strong or too weak they should be too weak bc fuck every bullet connecting just bc you press one button and the bullet would have NEVER connected on mnk.

  • adjust character movement VERY SLIGHTLY, so you can easier tell if the enemy is about to strafe and in which direction.

  • create a LEGENDARY nice lvl 11 skin for weapons (i wouldnt mind if you need double the xp either)

  • ban sniper from powershift so these people will stop complaining and you dont get confused about sniper feedback (i dont play ps so idc)

  • remove terminal attack bc its boring. maybe include parts of it in other gamemodes as random in game event

  • give us an option to turn off sounds like the crowd cheering midgame as well as the own player moaning after every bit of movement seperately.

  • there are different speeds of climbing depending on the starting height. make it easier to get the fast climb to improve fun and fluidity.

-give us thd option to turn on a setting where you see slight outlines of the enemies hitbox bc people with big skirts and giant heads definitely have a competitive advantage

  • nerf cerberus, pike and famas
    -adjust repeater so it doesnt just destroy lights

  • idea: make quick melee a part of balancing so its easier to balance melee weapons: just increase the duration of the sword lunge animation for example, so you cant just quick melee in the same frame.

  • act fearless. you guys made an incredible job but you act like you are already denounced by bad feedback after controversial changes.

  • do something against server desync.

I'm loving the game so far, but whenever you do a new spec for light, could you please give it good progression rewards? Light is currently the only class in the game without a single epic spec reward, while medium's demat has a legendary sticker and two epic rewards. Only four specs in the game don't get any epics, and three of them are from light. It's really only a small complaint though, other than that I'm just looking forward to the mid-season patch tomorrow!

Don't change it weirdly and don't replace it with some other nerf, just revert sword lunge to 140 damage. Lowering the damage of melee weapons is a really dumb idea. sword was balanced.

93r less time gap between bursts and slightly less fire rate of burst as each burst is so quick it might as well be on bullet being fired and buff damage to compensate for lower and manageable fire rate.So u can fire slowly to make it more accurate or keep firing it like an auto so u can switch between the two and u have flexibility.

Make dagger alt have one tap like before plus u can hold.

Ks23 need one wall penetration with lower damage after hitting the wall for balance,it needs slightly faster projectile speed and 1.2 head shot multiplier(mainly to deal with other heavies with minigun)

Thing that needs fixing is the rotational aim assist and auto-centering while zooming should be removed, as they make tracking overly easy and give too much of an advantage. Aim assist in general would be better off as just a slight slowdown near targets, to keep things skill-based and fair across all input types.

Also, a slight fire rate buff for the SR-84 would be great — it’s feeling a bit underwhelming compared to other weapons. Appreciate all the work you’re doing on the game! I hope you’ll consider these changes — thanks for all your work on the game! Its really cool and fun but some things takes too long for you to fix.

I do think the famas range nerf and 93R range buff are weird choices but we’ll see how they go, and I think the Cerb nerf is kind of a half step. Does it fix the primary concern? Yeah technically but it’s still kind of a boring weapon, it’s not consistent enough to be the big chunky workhorse shotgun of the game and the fire effect is still so minor as to be basically unnoticeable (and now with one less pellet slightly harder to proc on goo gas and distant targets great.) This nerf works as a means to an end, but I was hoping for something more interesting. Oh well.

Could you please add input-based matchmaking? I would like to play with a friend who is on Xbox, but when we enable cross-play, we also get matched with PC players using mouse and keyboard. For us console players, that’s not fun because there’s a performance gap due to the different input devices.

I spent over an hour a day for over a week in the practice range perfecting my phantom strike technique in response to the nerf, but yall really just removed it without restoring the damage and tweaked just about every other weapon?!?! Even with the return of the nulifier and the buffing of the Model?!?!? Even before the nerf it was THE underdog weapon, literally a throw pick! Please for the love of god release the data that shows how "oppressive" sword really is/was. Half of the other light weapons have superior TTK from superior range. Maybe the multihit was a problem, or maybe the abitity to two-tap mediums with two lunges. In that case reduce it to 124 or introduce damage falloff with every subsequent multihit. dont's just gut it completely! I was looking forward to 6.6 for weeks, thinking that with the reintroduction of the stun gun that sword would maybe be returned to its rightful state. 140 was fair damage for having to get so close. If a sword is up in your shit, you made a mistake 30 yards ago.

Are you serious? You nerf sword lunge damage by 35 and then just abandon it like that? Have you ever actually played sword? Either before or after the patch?
If you had tried the pre-patch sword, you wouldn't have nerfed it like this.
And if you had tried the current sword, you'd know it's ridiculously weak and in desperate need of a buff.

We're talking 35 damage—that's about 25% of its total damage completely removed. What kind of game makes such an insane change to a weapon?
The pre-patch sword already had low DPS and poor TTK. Now it’s even worse. It’s honestly unusable.

It feels like the devs are just blindly listening to people who want every non-gun weapon nerfed, without understanding the actual game balance.
Removing the sword's ability to one-shot lights with lunge is proof that you don’t understand how the game works.
Lights have low HP—of course they die quickly. Even before the patch, sword struggled against lights. Now it can’t even kill them.
So what chance does it have against medium or heavy classes?

Melee already comes with a risk—you have to close the distance. But even when you manage to do that, you still can't kill?
Does that sound like a viable weapon to you?

And on top of that, it’s a light melee with just 150 HP, but you have to close the distance to even deal damage.
If the damage is this bad, the whole weapon concept falls apart.
Melee needs to be strong when it connects, because getting into range is already so hard—especially when people are just sitting on rooftops shooting at you.
All of this is because of your terrible patch decision.

If you have any sense of game balance, MUST revert the sword lunge damage to 140.

Light should die to lunge + quick melee,
Medium should die to 2 lunges or lunge + quick melee + left click,
Heavy should die to 2x (lunge + quick melee) or 2 lunges + left click.
That was the balanced state.

We have been here ever since the sword nerf, complaining and suggesting new ways to make it good again. As a sword main, I have always wanted the nerf completely reverted. As a “balancer” I have suggested reverting the damage and making a cooldown to quick melee after a lunge. We have tried to help bring this weapon back, yet clearly you do not care. Why does DB shotgun one shot lights? Why does sniper and bow one shot headshot and two shot body shot + qm lights, as well as any other one shots/one shot + qm? I get that phantom slashing was a bug, but you couldn’t possibly think to buff sword after removing the only thing it had going for it? Sword has been my favorite weapon, my comfort weapon, in this game. You say you want to be more friendly to new players? I only play medium, but when I have to do class specific challenges, even since open beta, I'm choosing the XP for light every game. This gun out performs all of the ARs now that the famas is nerfed and I'm confused. This is a tactical submachine gun, Why does a tac sub have very little to no fall off damage? With 34 bullets? You should not be able to one clip a heavy from 30+ meters away when it is difficult to even do it with the fcar, arn, ak, and famas. I had interesting idea but I understand that it's somewhat complicated and you guys have a lot on your plate with the finals and arc raiders (great game BTW, thank you for letting me on the play test) but anyway I think it'd be cool to see some form of a replay mode and either it could just show a recording of you last match or cooler show it like how in universe it looks on TV so showing the different teams, what their doing, cutting to each other, showing top down views and so on. I feel like it could be a good way to rewatch your match and improve or just watch a game of the finals either way I feel like it'd be a cool idea and I would love to see it.

Embark, if you’re going to buff winch claw, please buff charge ‘n’ slam back to the way it was. It’s a specialty, so it should do a good amount of damage. It’s not like we can spam it like cloak, dash, goo gun, etc.

Maybe increase the recharge duration by a few seconds. It doesn’t make sense that we can charge through buildings and other structures, but can’t charge through an opponent.

Don't nerf the minigun for the love of God. Nobody wants this. Wherever this Feedback is coming from is bullshit. That weapon is fine dude. It's not oppressive as you're getting at in the recent patch notes. It feels fair to play against and requires a lot of backing from your teammates to really make it effective.

Minigun is literally perfect in its current state. It's off meta but strong in the right hands.
It's fun to play against, doesn't feel oppressive as other metas.
Requires proper teamwork to make effective at higher elo.

If we lose the ability to juggle or it's clunkier it'll ruin the feel of the weapon and most importantly the extremely fun mini game of keeping the gun revved up while moving.
Losing this functionality would be such a huge bummer.

This isn't Chivalry, it's a fast-paced game and primary fire melee doesn't need to have a dramatic swing time. The first swing should be instant, before transitioning into the normal attack chain. Tracking enemies in chaotic melee range through the animation is a pain, especially when connection issues and hitbox jank come into play.

Why you continue nerfing sa1216, it’s super niche weapon, I believe pick rate was lower than sword before all nerfs. It’s high skill high reward weapon, but current pellet pattern is bigger than L player model even on 5m. Please make it tighter to reward players with more precise aim.

You already killed all heavy combos with winch and plan to nerf minigun which also not that good and pick rate still very niche.

Barricade Placement (Heavy Class):

  • The barricade is a great strategic tool for the Heavy—especially for blockading doors while retreating or being chased.
  • However, trying to place a barricade directly in front of a door can be finicky and inconsistent.
  • The placement system seems overly sensitive to colliders or surface detection, often costing me 2–3 crucial seconds.
  • In fast-paced moments—especially when being chased by a Light—that delay can mean the difference between surviving and getting eliminated. It feels bad to lose a fight because I’m stuck wrestling with barricade placement.
  • Additionally, when resurrecting a teammate behind my own barricade, the interaction system often prioritizes picking up the barricade instead of reviving the teammate—even when my cursor is aimed directly at the resurrection statue.

+1 to this, good observation on the other ARs you’re totally right. If the AKM was a true workhorse suppression tool and the FCAR was your mid range high risk damage dealer then the famas would fit in great as a marksman rifle along side the pike (which I think still just needs additional sights to be viable in the lineup.)

And additionally totally correct about the XP, it feels like you’re purposely using something sub optimal when you use something other than XP on light. I think all it needs is its damage falloff to be tighter, it’s outclassing ranged options like the LH1 ARN and the pistols which sucks because all of those weapons are really pretty good.

bruh, nulifier is evern worse than was taser, light player now INVINCIBLE, you come closer/winch/anything them, they just nulify you and walk away, and NO one can kill them now AT ALL, taser was EASY to counter, but there is no counter to nulifier, i played 6 rounds, and all 6 rounds EVERYONE was invincible, we liteirally failed to get even 800 points because WE ARE ALL INVINCIBLE due to brainrot mechanics of nulifier, i cant even kill my enemy cus other lights just TASING it on sight letting him HEAL and run away
also healing bombs is a biggest L, now medics are useless, and all ttk is broken, sniper rifles/shotguns/meele/MGLs does not work AT ALL and never will be

The game is still very mediocre, there are a lot of things that have been implemented to improve quality both in the menu and in the gameplay, many of these improvements are mentioned in the feedback but Embark I stop listening to the community... it seems like a game in face beta and worse, in truth Embark turned out to be a mediocre company that disappoints its community... Nullifier is so badly designed that now your own teamates can sabotage you if they protect an opponent from the teamwipe, was probably only tested under premades again without considering trolling. But we already know it Embark shits on solo/duo players and thinks everyone groups up after work for a round of the finals...... BIG L

And also, funny that the same studio in Arc raiders prefers solo/duo vs solo/duo 3v3 in matchmaking but in The Finals, this is of course not possible. đŸ€Ą

You need to introduce additional content. Add a feature to preview skins in the shop before purchasing them. Implement the ability to gift skins to friends—not just those from the Battle Pass. The game desperately needs advertising; there’s virtually none. Take the CIS region, for example—barely anyone knows about this game. There are no local servers, which makes connections unstable. I understand the CIS region might not be a priority for you, but look at games like CS2, Dota 2, PUBG, and others. A huge portion of their playerbase comes from CIS countries. At the very least, add Russian language support (it shouldn’t be too hard to implement)

All of this is because of your terrible patch decision.

Medium should die to 2 lunges or lunge + quick melee + left click,

I understand putting it in casual modes because it’s a fan favorite map but you’ve also realized it has flaws that affect competitive integrity and you’ve fixed them in the rework. Regarding your mid-season 6 balancing changes:

The Good:

  • Nerfing the .50 Akimo range is the right call; they made the other heavy weapons a less competitive choice.
  • Buffing 93R effective range makes it a competitive choice.
  • Reducing the quick reload time of the ARN-220 makes it more competitive in sustained fights.
  • Buffing the .357 effective range was a needed change, but the most meaningful change you can make is to increase the size and color brightness of the front sight post when ADSing with the iron sights. Additionally, the spread reduction delay when ADSing needs to be decreased to better align with the ADS time.
  • The SA1216 changes are good, but the recoil should have been reduced proportionally.
  • Fixing the Spear spin attack hit reg is great!
  • Fixing the unintended extra phantom strike was much needed!

The Bad:

  • Why would you make the proximity sensors larger? The only time they are "fiddly to hit" was at range, which was the ENTIRE POINT; players had to get close enough to destroy them. You made TDM even more miserable to play as a medium and heavy player.
  • While buffing the Model 1887 rate of fire is needed, reducing its 'levering' duration by 0.02s was pointless; reducing it by 0.20s would actually do something. Another mind-bogging change is to increase the effective range of a pellet-firing shotgun over a slug-firing shotgun like the KS-23, especially when the effective range was the primary reason it was overperforming a few seasons ago.
  • While the XP-54 feels amazing, its just too effective at all ranges and seems to shoot so fast that opponents are dying around corners as if the server tick rate can't keep up with it.
  • The M134 Minigun damage, range, and movement is fine, but it needs a significant ammo nerf to 150 rounds, which is still double the amount of any other heavy weapon.
  • Lastly, adding an 'uncontrolled' state to the Winch Claw was a bad idea. Nobody, not even other heavies, wants Winch Claw to be a guaranteed kill; as a heavy player, we just want it to work more reliably by increasing the hook FOV.

The Ugly:

  • Nerfing the Cerberus by decreasing the pellets by one does not address the major balancing issues with the weapon. The biggest problem with this FIRE shotgun is that each pellet does too much immediate physical damage, making the Model 1887 obsolete when most of the damage should come from the FIRE damage over time (DoT). Another big issue is its close pattern accuracy at range; its higher effective range than a semi-auto VS9 pistol is just comical.
  • Adding the stun gun back into the game was a terrible decision. It makes the Quick Cash even more toxic when fighting a double or triple Light team
  • It's incredibly frustrating that the hip-fire spread of the CB-01 repeater hasn't been reduced. If Embark insists that players should quick-scope at close range, then the delay in spread reduction needs to be shortened to better match the aim-down-sights (ADS) time. Also, the repeater really needs an increase to the size and color brightness of the front sight post when ADSing with the iron sights.
  • It is extremely frustrating that the toxic close-quarters combat (CQC) ability of the CL-40 has not been nerfed by increasing its self-damage range. I've participated in numerous matches where both friendly and enemy players have quit because of this annoying weapon. This issue needs to be addressed.
  • The endless Throwing Knife spam needs to end by giving it a max ammo count and some type of reload animation. Its frustrating to fight against any enemy that's not punished at all for whiffing knife throws or a teammate stealing kills by spamming knives without a thought.

  • Specializations for each player visible on the scoreboard. (Small symbol next to their class, like the one from the intros)
  • Visible timer on Cashouts for how much time is left rather than the pie chart, or at least a settings option to see it.

Okay so good update overall, but there are alot of fumbles as always;

The stun gun problem solving was a creative solution, but right now it's even more busted than pre-killswitch stun gun was, I feel like this is a change directed towards lowering casual's frustration at the cost of adding a broken meta gadget into high elo lobbies which is an absolute must pick choice, the effective timer on new stun should not exceed 3 seconds.

Adding arguably the best sword skin in the game, a big black bat which unfortunately noone is going to use because you finally removed phantom strikes.. without compensating the dps whatsoever.

The SA12 change once again catered towards casuals, lowering the guns skill ceiling further while missing the target with the breaking points still underperforming, doing more brainless chip damage is going to cause more frustration in the playerbase.

We pleaded for a smaller dedicated tdm map but this "cqc" map is nearly just as big as most cut out chunk pieces of tdm maps we have so far, the open forest environment completely defeats the purpose of adding it because you cannot anticipate which direction could an enemy come from, you need a clear sense of territory whats a safe area to retreat to and where to expect aggro from. It's an arena fps game, just look at any Quake map and design one according so.

The UI changes are good but please fix the sponsorship tracking, I would love not to hear all stages being completed at once every few games. Ranked ruby tracking in the UI is still messed up and displays text block bronze 4. APS turret still falls through the entire map when attached to a carriable.

Absolutely the same lobby exp, you're playing a game of “The mediums” against freaking pike\famas\cerb top 500 freaks who haven't changed their loadout since season 4. Seriously, my bloody first game was against 4 medums with 50-90k and xp-54 diamond light, while I didn't even have a full 5 man stack loaded.
I'm not even talking about the lack of animation canceling which is a problem anyone but the developers know about.

I think the XP-54 and ARN-220 duo should be like the AKM and FCAR duo. The ARN should have a slower fire rate but slightly more damage just like the FCAR. Also the ARN should have the quick twin-mag reload to be every other reload.

Pre nerf sword was anti-fun for everyone on the receiving end REGARDLESS OF BALANCE. Even if it was objectively somewhat weak in coordinated play, it was INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING to deal with.

One super annoying weapon ruins the experience for everyone else in the lobby, one underpowered weapon ruins the experience only for sword users. The nerf was for the greater good and you need to understand that.

  • Either limit it's pick rate per team to prevent 3x Medium defibs or lower the defib health regain for Medium as a deterent.
    Buff Riot Shield or change it's mechanics.
    Buff dual blades, or change their mechanics.
    Bring back KS and other animation cancels for specializations.
    Add a grenade indicator.
    Put glitch mines on Light or Heavy and nerf them. Maybe have their do a burst of glitch, not a consistent one.

Overall, I believe this game is suffering from Medium's current style. It is designed to be able to do basically everything combat-wise, which is ridiculous. You want to snipe? Medium can do it. You want to melee? Medium can do it. You want to use a shotgun at close quarters? Medium can do it.
I understand that Medium is meant to be a Jack of all trades kind of deal, but it should be capable at most, but a master at nothing in specific. Instead, it's a must-have for sweats who want to optimize everything, and they get the best of both worlds because of how Medium currently it.

Medium can perform support duties:

  • Healing
  • Defib
  • Mines
  • Turrets

Medium can perform movement duties:

  • Zipline
  • Jump Pad
  • Demat

Medium can perform combat effectively and indepedently with it's variety of weapons.

  • You can have 1 person for long range.
  • 1 for close.
  • 1 for mid.

Medium is the problem in this game because it has essentially nill drawbacks, BESIDES area destruction... which can now just be substituted with expo canisters and grenades. Change how Medium works, stop freaking out about Light and Heavy being too strong, they both have very noticable weaknesses, while Medium really doesn't (other than destruction). It's infuriating seeing the 3x Medium meta, and it's even more unfun to play against. You made 3 classes for a reason, make them all a viable choice, preferably being LMH instead of a 3x of ANY CLASS.

Also, criticism is welcome.

I like that the healing barrels are back, but I'd prefer they have a different color. On a few occasions already I've grabbed one thinking it was a stun barrel.
I'd also like to advocate for the return of some other events, mostly the bomb drops we had for valentines as a replacement for the long gone dead go boom and the return of the las Vegas turrets.

Actually went as far as uninstalling the game yesterday. After 600 hours of fun. Reason? Dagger just isn’t fun anymore. It doesn’t suit my playstyle. Charge up time is sliiightly too long to jump around people and land a stab mid air, it’s pretty much hard countered by everything in the game as long as people have a brain. And most of the good players have left so guns aren’t even fun anymore. either I’m rolling through lobbies, or 1v5ing and getting rinsed because I dont wanna sweat my balls off.

Idk, sad. If dagger charge up was decreased by like 100-200ms (literally just a little bit), fixed the hit reg, and maybe you could nullify gun yourself, then I’d be interested in coming back. Until that tho ggs it was fun, Minecraft is calling

would be nice to have different formats of event loot drops. the wheel of fortune is hanging on by a thin thread because it's the vanilla gameshow thing to do, but it really doesnt make sense when you have a halloween wheel, a valentines wheel and an alpha acta wheel.

  • alpha acta - someone switching through TV channels until they land on an telemarketing ad of the item you rolled
  • halloween - reaching inside a bowl of candy and pulling out the item
  • valentines - love letter envelope with a receipt and polaroid of the item inside
  • easter - cracking an egg open

Sword is in a very bad state right now. The removal of phantom slashes would be fine if the damage was brought back. Here are my suggestions: Revert sword damage, just make it normal (good change, lame). If reverting it is too much, you can make a quick melee cooldown after using a melee weapon (lamer). My second suggestion is to not buff lunge damage but bring back phantom slashing. Make it a feature that has a visual and audio response (maybe a distorted swoosh sound and a spectral sword appearing). This would be really cool and make the weapon bearable to use. I feel like the argument to buff sword is so strong, especially with that fact that the argument to not buff it is “hehe skill issue” from people who have not played sword. Please listen embark, I miss my baby.

I'm hoping that with phantom strikes fixed the nerf to sword will be reconsidered, going from 140 to 105 seemed extreme especially with all the other 1 shots or 1 shot + quick melee combos that other lights use and/or die from.

I personally think 140 was balanced, the time it took to preform the attacks necessary to kill each build was reasonable.

With the damage at 105 I find it near impossible to kill heavies unless the area is dense with cover which a smart heavy wont voluntarily fight you in and would opt to suppress you from a distance.

It ultimately didn't really affect the time to kill a medium when the person using the sword is efficient, it just made it slightly more difficult by adding a quick melee to the 2 lunge combo.

Fighting lights is just a nightmare, if they are using evasive dash or grappling hook odds are they will actively be using those specializations to avoid you and since you are likely using one of the same specialization it means that to kill a light you need to not only get close enough to damage them but also use your specialization to stay close enough to them to finish them off while they are probably actively using their specializations to try to get away. If they have the grappling hook, and you have dash, odds are they are getting away; if you have grappling hook, you can chase them but it will be pretty hard to get close enough to finish them without them shooting you in the face. If they have dash, and you have dash, odds are you will have time your dashes right after their dashes to stay close enough to them to finish them off all while they can shoot you.

I hope that with the phantom strikes fixed, the devs can tell from the data that the damage needs to be reverted or at least somewhere in the range of 120-135

SUGGESTIONS FOR THE FINALS

RANKED SOLO/DUO

  • Prioritize matching 3-stacks against each other, and solo/duo players against each other.
  • Mitigation to RS loss when experiencing a leaver who is not in the party/club.
  • Affirmative matchmaking, all matchmade players must vote "YES" to joining the lobby or the match doesn't go through.
  • Ability to dodge in lobby before the game starts. Add penalties for doing it multiple times, same as leaver penalties, but let me do it without losing RS.

UI ELEMENTS

  • Cash amounts for objectives visible on the objective icon. Unopened vaults have "$1,000" listed under the icon, opened vaults have the deposit amount listed, active Cashout stations list the amount awarded for the Cashout.
  • Objective timers of time remaining listed as part of the objective icon.
  • Player specializations visible on the scoreboard next to the class of each player.
  • Gadget/Specialization cooldown timers on the HUD.
  • Damage numbers on-hit and/or HP values.

PRACTICE RANGE

  • Add a new bullseye target with dummies of each class, adjustable distance to target, and a viewfinder with accuracy and damage statistics.
  • Allow changing sights in the practice range to help make informed sight unlock decisions on weapons. (Try out sights you don't have, same as the range lets you try out weapons you don't have.)
  • Customizable range dummies, select classes, movement, aggression, etc.
  • Aim challenge/minigame with the practice dummies, with different difficulty settings.
  • Add a resettable Cashout to practice knocking over, Winching, etc.
  • A way to reset the building to normal.

COMMUNICATION/PINGS/CHAT

  • Make ally and enemy gadgets pingable, same as movement utility.
  • Improve ping sensitivity to reduce accidentally pinging objectives when trying to ping near them.
  • Auto-ping opponents when shooting them. This helps communicate between teammates what target is being shot and where. (Especially with random teammates who aren't in voice chat.)
  • Global text chat in-game. All of the appropriate safeguards are in place, I just want to be able to communicate with enemies. (Although I understand some concerns about competitive integrity, so possibly disabled in Ranked?)

REPUTATION/HONOUR

  • Add an alternate or additional prompt to the post-match "How did that game go? Why?" that allows for review of teammates and/or enemies.
  • Add an upvote/downvote reputation system and a single reputation value that is visible on each player's profile.
  • Alternatively, add a system for honouring on some small array of reasons, let players honour one player per match/round, and make some sort of Honour rank system visible. Reasons such as: Friendly, Skilled, Leader, Team Player.

GENERAL QUALITY OF LIFE

  • Per-season and/or lifetime statistics that are more detailed. (Kills per class, gadget, gun, stats specific to certain gamemodes, etc.)
  • Player profiles, to view their career statistics or just their player card.
  • Match history, even just the last 20 rounds played.
  • Changing sights in pre-game lobby. (I may want the same gun with a different scope depending on the map.)
  • Increase time in pre-game lobby. Currently it's ~15-20 seconds, I'd like to see it be ~30 seconds.
  • Rename and duplicate contestants.
  • Improve the new player experience by adding a way to opt-out of the tutorial and new player track part-way through, allow new players to join their friends and jump right into some games together. (The new player track heavily restricts your ability to play with your friends until you are finished, requiring you to play for 30-45 minutes before you can actually jump into a game with your friends.)

The one thing that would make it perfect, is the ability to add expressions or skins to an outfit. Not for everything, but maybe just optional. I really like changing my outfit in the prelobby to fit in with my teammates better. But then my gun skin doesn't fit, or I still have the ospuse intro even though I'm now wearing all Iseul-t.

Art Team: You've been killing it since season 2 but imo especially since season 5. Season 1 was a good start, I still use some of that stuff.

**The paint changes are sick, and nail polish is especially nice because its something we can appreciate all the time in FPP. **

Mappers you're sick too. Kyoto gets a lot of hate but artistically its hands down the best looking map. Its primarily performance issues that hold that map back (and that does really need to get fixed). I'm lucky to have a high end system, and I can appreciate Kyoto much more than I did on my old system (which was not very low end at all, mind you).

Imo all of the maps have Geometry and esthetics that give them each their own personality and affects on gameplay. Weapons and gadgets excel or faulter on different maps and that's positive for gameplay.

1 tiny criticism is that the solid bases of the building on Monaco feel disruptive for charge n slam. It would be nice if they were destructible. Also the row of houses between crane and the bridge/undercrofts should have a basement level that is as low as the floor under the bridge, that area is a major choke point and is mostly indestructible. A church cellar would be cool too.

UI/UX Team: Honestly there's almost never a reason to chime in on your work because things generally get the job done. I think a lot of people in the community would agree that the store update follows a very common and not so efficient layout. Its not bad but its not great either. PC deserves a UI that takes advantage of all our excess of buttons and functions. If you wont compact the UI because of console players on TVs across the room, at least let tilt-scroll, and add search options.

Also, the community has been asking for in-game DMs to arrange team-ups with our friends who are already in a game. Detailed info about their match would be nice too. Also a way to hide our club tags personally (unless there is one I couldn't find).

Balance Team: I just wish I could understand your priorities and what you've been cooking up for like 3 seasons straight.

Not everything you do is bad, but so many pain points get ignored. It really feels like there's so much focus put on heavy and light while medium has basically glided above both of those classes all along.

I always say the same stuff, but glitch mines are so overused right now. They're good for shutting down everything with unlimited activation, even causing you to put away a gadget you already have in your hands. Most importantly, they're the best counter-pick to one particular thing that merits a direct counter-pick more than anything else.

Defibs. Defibs are basically at a 100% pick-rate for mediums. It's so much harder to finish a fight when here are 2 or 3 defibs on their team, and this heavily tilts fights in favor of teams with more defibs available.

I've gotten wins with all light teams and all heavy teams (I solo queue). But god damn its so much more work than as all mediums or even with just 1 medium. You have to be perfect if you don't have fibs.

Honestly, your team is killing this game, almost all my friends quit around the time that the CL-40 became god tier (you took way too long to respond to the backlash & it remains overtuned til this day). Shortly after you added defib-sickness (it was so dumb to make it effect anything other than defibs), they were all gone back to the games they played before this. Its actually quite sad what you've done to the game overall.

fix the god damn ranked matchmaking. how am i, with a plat threestack, facing an insanely sweaty ruby 3stack of first game, i still quali 2nd and the next game i face 2 sweaty af ruby 3stacks, WE BEAT A 50k PLUS 3 STACK just to be griefed out by the first place ruby team. skill is not being rewarded properly and the vast majority of seeds have one team that absolutely stomps and then just bullies out the second best team every time. not to mention that sometimes you win a fight over vault, just for the other team to spawn DIRECTLY next to your cashout and get to camp it for free. i get that winning fights fast is skill but again- if the other team is a ruby 3stack that stomps their fight- what can i do? i can beat rubys, i can beat ruby 3stacks but not consistantly enough to gain past 38/39k because i'm not blessed with the luxury of 2 full time sweaty teammates to play with.

GET rid of any and all mines, especially for ranked modes. It is insane how these mines, sometimes upto 4, can be allowed to pollute the cashout site even after a team is wiped, leaving you outta luck becuase of the lingering aoe effects. Improve the new player experience by adding a way to opt-out of the tutorial and new player track part-way through, allow new players to join their friends and jump right into some games together. (The new player track heavily restricts your ability to play with your friends until you are finished, requiring you to play for 30-45 minutes before you can actually jump into a game with your friends.)

Ranked > Incentives for being first need to be implemented
High ELO Cashout is, play everything correctly or mostly correctly, but you end up getting griefed due to the double mechanic, and the first team being "safe" as there's no good reason for them to stay first.
The incentive to being first and how it differs from ranked was highlighted in PHL, where second and first had a solid difference in points gained based on positioning.
Yes there was griefing, but not to the extent of double last box haha focus second team fair gameplay.

Cashout still has issues:
S3 promised a more robust and balanced gamemode as it was “shelved” temporarily for TA. We have not received much, and the only changes have been to WT have not affected Ranked in the slightest.
WT, introduced as an experimental ground, hasn't tweaked significantly with the rules, and any tweaks have not impacted ranked in the slightest.
Spawn quality has deteriorated since the beginning of Season 6, Monaco especially has been affected the worst and continues to play horrible due to the spawns piling up on one active cashout.
Not sure why we have to wait for weeks to fix a bug in the spawns, we were told fixes would be pushed for 6.6, but there isn't anything about it.

Balancing:
While most balancing is in a good place, there are a few outliers. The Cerb and the DB have way too much damage potential.

All the content this patch was great, wt, new map etc and its great to see the game UI not feel like a beta game anymore.

Fix the "Report player" bit at the end of the game. It's so frustrating typing out why you're reporting someone and having the box closed off because of stupid animation slides post-game, and window transitions.

nerf light sniper but give heavy a heavy sniper rifle. it should have super slow fire rate and reload so that its a slow class with a slow gun but the gun should do unbelievable damage. also one of the assault rifles on medium should go to another class and in its place, a musket and bayonet. the bayonet should do -15 damage of the regular sword attack and should attack like a dagger backstab, but you can go into it immediately after a shot from the musket. its a weird gun idea but should make medium feel very refreshing to play. people really hated these ideas when i put this in the-finals-chat so if anybody doesn't like them please tell me why since the 6 people that hated them all failed to say what part is bad when prompted.

I am unable to complete my contracts in OCE. The "Play X Matches of World Tour or Ranked", or "Get 45,000 cash in a single game three times in World Tour or Ranked" types of contracts simply don't work in OCE. We don't have the demand for those queues, I often spend 3 hours sitting in queue for WT over peak hours (5-8pm) while I watch a movie or do some work, and never find a match.

I appreciate the incentive to queue for those modes, so perhaps a secondary part can be added that allows for queue time in those modes to count also? So maybe I could get the contract by spending two/three hours in queue for WT/Ranked, OR by playing three games? Etc

I'm not sure, I'm just bummed that I actively cannot get the final Enigmo Open contract. I'm thinking of trying to revive the OCE cartel to make some players queue for WT at a set time like 6pm.

Before the update, I could mute all announcer voice lines and crowd chanting while keeping my team's contestant voice lines active. I hope this feature returns, as it was my preferred setting. -- maybe it was a glitch in my pc system. but I really liked it, helped me focus on the match and feel competitive. Or i could game, veg out, and listen to PodCasts more clearly.

While a new TDM map is nice, I'm surprised it doesn't at all contribute to the wheel event. Personally I would have liked to have 1-2 daily contracts that reward tickets for the LTM that encourage people playing the mode like play X games or deal Y damage. I hope we get to keep the nullifier. This is so much more fun to play with strategically than stun gun, and it actually has counterplay. At least you have to actually think now and don't just press the button for a free kill. It also works well as a getaway tool for 1v1 encounters, which is very in-line with light's playstyle. 3.75 seconds also seems just right for this. It's not too long to keep someone out of a fight, while also being long enough to escape, or form a plan, or do an emote, or shift the tides of a battle. this might be the best rework I've seen in any game ever.

This is a message for the balancing team! This mid season patch is not great but not terrible. Stale if you will! Bug fixes are always a good thing but when it comes to gun play are we serious? If you had tried the pre-patch sword, you wouldn't have nerfed it like this.

We're talking 35 damage—that's about 25% of its total damage completely removed. What kind of game makes such an insane change to a weapon?
The pre-patch sword already had low DPS and poor TTK. Now it’s even worse. It’s honestly unusable.

It feels like the devs are just blindly listening to people who want every non-gun weapon nerfed, without understanding the actual game balance.
Removing the sword's ability to one-shot lights with lunge is proof that you don’t understand how the game works.
Lights have low HP—of course they die quickly. Even before the patch, sword struggled against lights. Now it can’t even kill them.
So what chance does it have against medium or heavy classes?

Melee already comes with a risk—you have to close the distance. But even when you manage to do that, you still can't kill?
Does that sound like a viable weapon to you?

And on top of that, it’s a light melee with just 150 HP, but you have to close the distance to even deal damage.
If the damage is this bad, the whole weapon concept falls apart.
Melee needs to be strong when it connects, because getting into range is already so hard—especially when people are just sitting on rooftops shooting at you.
All of this is because of your terrible patch decision.

If you have any sense of game balance, MUST revert the sword lunge damage to 140.

Medium should die to 2 lunges or lunge + quick melee + left click,
Heavy should die to 2x (lunge + quick melee) or 2 lunges + left click.
That was the balanced state.

create a mode where 100 people spawn on a big map and everyone has to kill each other to try and survive, and shrink the map during gameplay by slowly surrounding it with gas or something

Nerf the CB's fire rate.
Nerf Cerberus damage.
Nerf CL back to where it was.
Nerf defib:

  • Either limit it's pick rate per team to prevent 3x Medium defibs or lower the defib health regain for Medium as a deterent.
    Buff Riot Shield or change it's mechanics.
    Buff dual blades, or change their mechanics.
    Bring back KS and other animation cancels for specializations.
    Add a grenade indicator.
    Put glitch mines on Light or Heavy and nerf them. Maybe have their do a burst of glitch, not a consistent one.

Overall, I believe this game is suffering from Medium's current style. It is designed to be able to do basically everything combat-wise, which is ridiculous. You want to snipe? Medium can do it. You want to melee? Medium can do it. You want to use a shotgun at close quarters? Medium can do it.
I understand that Medium is meant to be a Jack of all trades kind of deal, but it should be capable at most, but a master at nothing in specific. Instead, it's a must-have for sweats who want to optimize everything, and they get the best of both worlds because of how Medium currently it.

Medium can perform support duties:

  • Healing
  • Defib
  • Mines
  • Turrets

Medium can perform movement duties:

  • Zipline
  • Jump Pad
  • Demat

Medium can perform combat effectively and indepedently with it's variety of weapons.

  • You can have 1 person for long range.
  • 1 for close.
  • 1 for mid.

Medium is the problem in this game because it has essentially nill drawbacks, BESIDES area destruction... which can now just be substituted with expo canisters and grenades. Change how Medium works, stop freaking out about Light and Heavy being too strong, they both have very noticable weaknesses, while Medium really doesn't (other than destruction). It's infuriating seeing the 3x Medium meta, and it's even more unfun to play against. You made 3 classes for a reason, make them all a viable choice, preferably being LMH instead of a 3x of ANY CLASS.

Also the current balance and meta is awesome. Don’t overcorrect anything listening to people like the guy above asking for melee buffs 💀

You guys have been doing such a great job lately with the game, I (and many other satisfied players) see the vision and we're excited for this to be an actual competitive game, and the major to go smoothly. Never backtrack listening to some of the complainers here. Keep up the great work!

QoL idea (will photoshop this later):
I'd like to see some of the body paints (mainly the mariachi skeleton one lol) be split into two categories instead of just "body paint"
so if you wanted, you could just have skull facepaint or skull bodypaint with no/a different facepaint (I'd use the latter on all my contestants lmao)
alternatively make a bodypaint that's the skelly one with no face, it already exists on the robot skins

i finally got my friends to play the game with me again! They're level 8! we did pretty good our first game of TDM on the new map, and then proceeded to get placed against full stacks of level 100+ dudes, one of whom went 24-12-7 with a gl-40. "what the fuck dude? I hate this game! what am i even supposed to do?!" my friend exclaims at one point. PERHAPS MATCHMAKING SHOULD BE ADDRESSED.

IMO removing doubling on the last cashout would make the game much more fair as now it's just the first team who will decide who goes through. You can win every team fight and the first two cashouts and still lose cuz first team griefs by defending a team of their choice. And we all do it.

I love the extra soundtracks, including the one for the current event. I would really love to see them as permanent additions, or have the ability to stream them on TIDAL, Spotify or other apps too
