Fixed the requirement for the Amethyst 'Cash Earned' player card badge as it was being handed out incorrectly. They did fix it
The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use make it so there isn't a gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.
Add fanning revolver for light with incendiary bullets but they r projectile but hit hard,u can use fanning action to quickly fire bullet.
Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x,wall penetration and NO bullet deviation.
Why arenât the Ranked rewards appealing?
In short, for two reasons at the same time:
- Itâs not a full character skin, so itâs not something epic that everyone can use.
- Itâs a very specific weapon (whether in gold, platinum, diamond, ruby, or emerald), so only a few players have any motivation to play that season.
This S6, for example, the Ruby reward is a Famas. What motivation do Heavy and Light Class players have to play this season and climb to Ruby? Absolutely none⌠Not even Medium Class players who donât use the Famas have any motivationâŚ
Season rewards should be something else:
Either a full outfit skin + accessories + pet (the whole thing), something truly unique and not just a recolor of already existing items (something Embark loves doing⌠and yeah, I know weâll never get anything like that because theyâve spent almost two years proving they donât like to put in the workâŚ).
Or at the very least, let us choose our Ruby/Emerald weapon. Make the Ruby or Emerald reward a ticket that you can redeem for the weapon of your choice â any weapon. (If each season adds a new weapon skin tier across all weapons, this is just as easy to implement.) Itâs not as cool as a full skin, sure, but itâs way better than being forced to earn a weapon you couldnât care less about...

There needs to be a bigger difference in health. Heavy needs a bit more health to be able to tank more damage. His health is currently negated by much larger hitbox and slow movement

Lights are, at least in my experience, laughably easy to kill already (this is when I've played medium and heavy btw). All that's required is aim training and you're fine.
Yes they can be very frustrating at times to face. Conversely players just need to learn counterplay to their tactics. Playing medium? Run glitch mine, they can't dash or go invisible, conveniently also negating the main power of a sword light. Heavy? Shak 50 I've found to be effective if you can hit your shots, and flamer at close ranges with eviscerate anyone. There's a multitude of ways for each class to kill each other. By no means is everything perfect but I think we're at the stage in the games development where drastic changes like this are unnecessary to balance.
Finally, there's a reason lights aren't played at high ELOs: they're very easy to kill already. Reducing their health to 100 only exacerbates this issue in higher tier gameplay. Embark isn't trying to balance things solely for casual players, hence why I bring this up. To nerf the class further only serves to make them completely unviable in the game, at which point you may as well remove the class entirely.
Overall, many of these suggestions could be rendered moot, imo, if people learned to aim and thought about what best countered their enemies.

First time reading through this chat and I'm so baffled about the sword. Do people really think it's even a bit too strong? I barely see it in my games, no matter what gamemode. If you spot a sword light at a distance that's more than like 10m - he can't do anything to you at that point and is a free target. Now people want to nerf it even more to make it unusable even in close range?

You should be able to counter the visual debuff of flash by looking away, and the auditory debuff of flash by simply not being near it or behind a wall. How it currently works is pretty annoying for both teammates and enemies, TDM is just a constant barrage of being team flashed and enemy flashed no matter what you do and just having a blank screen for waaaaay too long for how difficult it is to avoid. This is much more of an issue in TDM and powershift than ranked due to the number of players.

- Unrealistic Speed and Lunge Distance
This thing is basically a dash hack baked into a weapon. You blink, and the sword player has already lunged halfway across the map like some kind of anime protagonist on a caffeine drip. What even is the range on the dash? It feels like they can cross small buildings in a single bound. You think you're safe behind a railing or corner? Nah, theyâll slide-cancel, teleport, and execute you before your screen can render the animation.
The sword dash isn't just a movement tool, it's a get-out-of-jail-free card, a gap-closer, and a finisher all in one, with barely any counterplay. Why even bother aiming when you can just dash-spin-slash your way to MVP?
- The Time-to-Kill Is Insane
TTK is already on the faster side in The Finals, but the sword takes it to another level. It's not just "high-risk, high-reward" â it's "low-risk, instant reward." You can get deleted in two slashes before you even realize what's happening. There's no time to react, no time to shoot back, especially if you're a medium or heavy build. You might as well put your controller down and go make a sandwich.
And donât even get me started on how sword users can dash through you, spin around, and finish the kill while you're still spinning trying to track them.
- The Meta Is Warped Around It
You canât just play the game anymore without building your loadout specifically to survive sword players. Teams are stacking claymores, trip mines, gas grenades, and proximity sensors â not because theyâre strategic, but just to stand a chance against a sword dash. Mediums and heavies are forced to bunker down or die. Itâs not fun. Itâs not creative. Itâs just oppressive.

People who constantly cry to other people to tell them to use glitch mines to counter swords are clearly having a bad day.
lets get this straight, no one wants to have their loadouts filled with something because itll help in mainly countering one weapon-- or three at tops. It makes the using the gadget a chore and removes the flexibility in choosing your loadout
second, after all the times u ppl have whined to ppl abt using glitch mines against sword users, you'd think majority of the sword users wouldve figured out a way by now. People who come to this channel to talk shit like this really must be playing against bronze lobbies. Counters aren't always reliable. Practically, there's only around 50-60 percent of the time that the sword user won't have had destroyed the mine before it even matters.
NO COUNTER IS ALWAYS EFFECTIVE.
The best gadget/specialization is the one where you can always figure out a way to take its user down without any specific counter, with either moving or shooting,etc. with some creativity and game sense.
Winch could be countered by running/dashing/jumpadding/grappling/charging away. Running away. Stun could be countered by shooting at the person, but that was only possible when you were actually looking at the user and he didn't use cloak to stun you from the behind. So they had to remove that. It wasn't broken, just annoying. RPG wasn't counterable that easily too, especially light mains who could get one-shot without them knowing who hit em.
TL;DR: Get this, it's not neccessary that counters will always 100 percent work, so instead of rushing up to someone to tell him to "git gud" trying going up against the person yourself and finally use your brain in life.

Well, no. If youâre properly playing glitch mines and want to ACTUALLY counter sword, youâre playing glitches on walls next to choke points, where if the sword tries to destroy it, theyâd have to be in the actual room with you. Youâre playing glitch on the ceiling, where theyâll have to literally look straight up and jump to destroy it. On the wall above a door, hidden on a random canister, etc.
Ofc no counter is 100% viable, but you also need viable strategies to increase your odds of the counter working. And ofc no one wants to specifically play glitch to counter sword. Literally play anything else then..
ARs and SMGs shred light if you have good tracking: only excuse here would be if youâre a console player.
Burst weapons nearly one shot or even do one shot lights (cerb, SH1900, sledge). A good sledge can time a sword lunge to kill them in one of their right clicks.
And you CAN counter sword with movement. Take height, long hallways, and/or position yourself in a semi-tight but not too close triangle with your team.

I feel like the major issue with "use glitch mines to counter sword" is that it's preemptive. Most of the time if I'm getting sworded all game it's when I'm simply unprepared. Getting caught off guard, etc. Glitches don't stop someone from dashing into you usually, they stop them getting away.
Sword just feels weird. Doesn't feel like it should work the way it does, or that it's working a bit incorrectly. Idk. Sword + Dash is definitely not fun to fight against either or imo. If they made it so you only had 2 dashes, but they went further (total distance covered is the same) it'd probably fix the issue. Dash in general is just a bit spammy, which I think leads to the light melee weapons feeling wack. If dash was adjusted a bit sword and dagger would feel fine probably.

I agree but w/ out Winch KS, there's like no reason to use the gun lol. You just have a below average gun that requires more attention to accuracy than most other weapons with bad damage breakpoints. It doesn't help that they killed any animation cancelling with the gun too. It might not be fun to lose to but there's much more frustrating situations in this game that require marginally less effort.

Multihit is NOT needed. Light is a flank class, you should NEVER run face first into two or more opponents, even more so as a melee player.
Flash spam has gotten ridiculous. How can I even play the game when the enemy can just turn my monitor off for EIGHT SECONDS. Even more oppressive than peak stun gun. i think the issue is in the inconsistent hitting, when i am on top of a box and the light charges into the box, i shouldn't take damage. I have no complaints about the damage/charging and dashing tho, cause it is a high risk/high reward weapon. Personally I suck with it
World tour point system needs a rework, getting 6 points for getting into round 2 is insane.
Realistically getting 3rd in round 1 should net you 3 points then second and first should be 5 points
Second round 3rd place should get 5, second and first should net you 10(these all stack with the finals round results) winning final should net you 30 points losing should net you 20
so all in all in round one you come 1st you get 5 points, in round 2 you come first again you get 15 and in the final if you win you get 45 points. ATM the point system just feels meh this is me spitballing btw if you've got better solutions i would love to here it.

Cerberus is very unique it should have its fire damage be the brunt of its damage, every pellet should start fire damage but its overall pellet damage (that isn't from be fire) should be nerfed probably round to less than the model so 10 - 11 per pellet.
Famas might need a slight recoil adjustment to make it less easy (currently the best ar by a mile) and/or a damage nerf
Additionally would love for clubs to be expanded upon, we have contracts for clubs i would love to see a leveling system giving players a unique cosmetic for reaching certain clan levels, club contracts aren't the only thing that should level the club up playing and winning with club mates should increase rank (not as much as the contracts but should still impact the level)
Might just be me but playing light without stun gun has been great as it frees up an extra slot and makes it so i can experiment with other gadgets without feeling like a big detriment to my team play (would love for it to either be not a guaranteed pick for high level lights kit or removed completely) i feel this way about defibs as well as they trivialize resing and fights most of the time plus them and movement are instant picks for mediums kits in high level.

- Remove the possibility of doubling on the last cashout so the first team doesn't get to decide who goes second. Might aswell make the 2nd, 3d and 4th place teams roll a dice at the end of every round.
- Fix spawns - the team you just wiped shouldnt be able to spawn closer to the cashout you have to go to, or spawning 200m from your own cashout cuz you just got third partied is diabolical

Here's my list of fixes that would fix this game, make it popular and increase profits by at least 3000%:
1. Remove light from the gameLight's teamwork is consistently underwhelming, making him a weak link in the game. Removing him would improve overall balance and competitiveness.

I think the XP54 should be tweaked again.
IIRC, the gun used to be 30 rounds, 18 damage per hit (non crit). It was a beast back then. Its damage got nerfed from 18 to 16, then its ammo cap buffed from 30 to 34 as a trade-off. Now its damage has been raised from 16 to 17, keeping the 34 ammo cap. I don't think the damage buff was bad but then the ammo cap buff should have been reverted. It's either one or the other, not both, else the gun is too strong. IMO the XP wasn't bad in S5 to begin with. High ROF, minimal recoil, with a sight and decent tracking, even at 16 damage, you could pretty easily hit all your shots and melt people. Right now, I see it more often than the M11 or ARN which is quite revealing. The ARN is pretty cool, I wanna like it, but it's outshined by the XP due to its lower ROF/higher recoil, any ARN vs. XP duel shows that very clearly.

Love your game. Play it with my buds all the time. Please, for the love of God, work on the optimization. This is an objective good I think everyone can agree on. I have a decently beefy PC and still get wild frame dips, and after this last update my average frames have tanked a ton. This season, my average frames is around 100, which is not normal in the slightest. Other games run perfectly fine, and while I know this game has a large amount of destruction and differing factors at play than other games, it's hurting mine and my friends' interest in the game. Which really sucks. If I could change ANYTHING about this game, I would simply make it a little more optimized. There's no reason I shouldn't be able to get a semi-steady 144 frames with a 3080ti while my friends struggle to pull 100 frames on their rigs, but nowadays that seems like a gigantic ask. I literally got off not too long ago simply because the game did not feel fun to play, and it wasn't because of the game's core gameplay or design itself.

Add kusarigama for light,primary attacks hit like sword but alt attack is u spin the chain and blade 160 degrees in front of u and most damage where blade hits not the chain,itâs skill based cause u hold down alt and the more u hold the longer u throw and only the blade part damages when spinning plus u can move your aim while spinning to make blade go in that direction.
To simply put it,the melee alt is more like aim and shoot but use aim to move the blade and hit box.
There r two ways of implementing this,either the melee projectile starts from an arc from the left side and goes to the centre line and move as u change your aim or the projectile starts from the crosshairs and moves where u move your aim
U may change between the two using a different stance using the weapon inspection button or add more combos using that button.
Either u canât use light spec when using alt or give this weapon to medium with a wall run gadget or else itâs the most dull experience chasing player as a medium

Skyway in particular has some of the worst spawns I've ever seen. If you're holding the offices, then the enemy will almost always spawn on the mansion. Everybody knows about it, everybody abuses the shit out of it. Just an example.
Secondly, imagine this scenario. You get teamwiped and a third party comes in and starts fighting the team that just wiped you. You respawn with the cashout still technically being yours, but you spawn across the map and can't do anything to defend it, and are forced to go to the other cashout. Why? I don't care if there's two teams on my cashout, it's MY cashout, I should spawn at my objective instead of across the map at someone else's, only to get third partied because the spawn system favoured it that way.
The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use make it so there isn't a gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.
Add fanning revolver for light with incendiary bullets but they r projectile but hit hard,u can use fanning action to quickly fire bullet.
Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x,wall penetration and NO bullet deviation.
Medium and heavy need some form of movement. Light is way too op compared to the rest of the classes. Give heavy a double jump or something

I mainly used it for delaying cashouts but vortex seems better if you know where to place it. if you active it while they are stealing it 80% of the time it'll knock them off and they'll have to start the steal again. before they can get the steal off if you positioned it right the cashout will be thrown causing them to have to restart again. this gives way more stalling time then stun gun. I don't think the version of stun gun we had is good as all it did was give you easy kills and stall for a about 2 seconds.
Light Sword+Dash is oppressive for a new player and annoying for midlevel play while being mediocre in high level play.
so what do we have currently?
its left click doing 74 (fine) right click damage being 140 with AOE (issue). sledge was changed to not multhit with its heavy attack for a reason do the same for this.
effective range of this increases by a lot when combining dash+ sword alt/right click, 6m 7m to something like 11m-12m although light becomes a human bullet. so he is vulnerable to mines and being shot while coming at a target.
this range increase makes so sword achieves slightly better range of effectiveness off the double barrel with the disadvantages of positioning and not able to interact with stuff if they dont get close (activating mines, damaging props and other stuff in the map), also being line of sight exposed when attacking to gunfire and gadgets
Assuming a light player uses dash +sword or dash + double barrel with both having vanish bomb...
So sword can do (140+40) (180) to oneshot light from 11-12m while double barrel two shots them in 10 m and needs to be at 4m-5m to oneshot them
So sword can (140+140) (280) to two shot medium with 11-12m while double barrel needs 6-7m to two shot them (light can also 140+40+74 for similar two shot)
So sword can (140+40)+(140+40) (360) to two shot a heavy with 11-12m while double barrel needs 4-5m to two shot them...
main differences important to point out double barrel has to reload sword does not, sword is forced to use dash to engage while double barrel can decide depending on situation. sword has AOE double barrel does not.
drop its alt fire damage to 120 and reduce AOE. about the AOE If the secondary would only hit in a straight line, that would be enough of a nerf for it. I'm OK with the range and all, but if your going for a Lunge, you shouldn't be able to draw massive circles to hit left and right of your corridor. Also lag and bad server tick rate benefit melee more then guns in general
+1 damage to m11 to compensate for range nerf it got. its ttk is so similar to xp that theres pretty much no reason to use it except to kill people 2 hundreths of a second faster at the cost of half your range

A sniper on Heavy would be inherently overpowered.
- Weapons do 150 or 250 before they do 350.
- Snipers cannot be contested except by other weapons with extremely long falloff ranges.
- Result: Heavy will beam people from across the map with a weapon that will do 150 or 250 damage before the Light or Medium long-range weapons can do 350.
Snipers should only ever be on Light because having the lowest HP compensates for it having a longer falloff range than any other weapon.
DMRs should only ever be on Light and Medium because itâs the next longest-range weapon.
For the above reasons, the .50 Akimbos should be the closest to a âDMRâ Heavy is ever allowed to have:
- No scope
- Far lower falloff range than actual DMRs
- Far more harsh falloff % modifier than actual DMRs

No, because even tho heavy is low speed high health, theyre also high and sustained damage, meaning any sniper in the heavy class would one shot lights. Not that I think it should, thats just reality. If you think the DB is bad, imagine a light player just walking in the open and getting one tapped, no headshot. No matter how bad the iron sights are people will adapt and get good with it, just as they are with the repeater, and thats why it's becoming a problem now that people have good practice with it.

after playing 1000 matches they really need to do something about the visibility of players through demat, beyond 15 meters the agressor is hard to see inside his own demat. This is double true if they put it on the celing and just headglitch to shoot through it. Really cringe on some of the larger indoor areas of the Vegas strip.

Any map that you can âfall off the edgeâ needs to be removed from world tour and ranked, it completely ruins the game especially for heavyâs when using the charge and slam, the whole bridges and jump pads to get across the map makes points where some people can be completely blocked off from sections of the map unless they have god tier aim, Kyoto and any maps thag you can fall off the edge need to be completely removed

I think it would be really cool to have a medieval european themed season. Have a castle map with cosmetics like a suit of armor or robinhood style getup. We could get more weapons or gadgets, like a "health potion" to help heavies act more like a tank. Currently heavies have the longest time to regen to full and I think a health potion to regenerate a section of their health might be a good idea. mediums could get a crossbow or something, like the bow for lights but instant firing, long reload, high damage and projectile based. Lights could get a "parkour" specialization, allowing them to run faster while it's active and double jump, or wall run/wall climb. Definitely not both as that would be overtuned. I'd be fine without this of course, but I'd really love some more medieval stuff in the game.

I find it great that this game enables melee options to be viable (to an extent) in an FPS game. However, I feel like being able to quick melee immediately after swinging a melee gives it too much oomph, making it far more viable than it should be (sword lunge can instantly kill a light if combo'd with a qm and so can heavy swing).

Ppl seem so but hurt about the sword lately but the dash combo seems fine to me and isn't that hard to counter as long as you remember this game is basically rock paper scissors for playstyles. Figure out a counter with gear or change how youre playing with your team and it shouldnt be that hard to kill even an adept sword player. It's pretty rare to come across a player who is able to position themselves right and when I do get worked by one its because im choosing to ego challenge them or my team and I aren't keeping a triangle (football) . If youre SoloQ that basically goes out window though but SoloQ is a whole problem in itself. I would love to see actual issues fixed like the networks lag, ping meter, server location selection, and matchmaking optimization. I played solo other day and went 5 matches in a row getting teammates who got 0 or 1 kill while im getting 5+ with 1st round knockouts... My friends got on and i get to the finals in first run and back to 10+ Kill average... Something is not right there and really makes it so I only play when friends are on otherwise it really is a horrible experience and unenjoyable. Im basically repeadetly punished for being average and carrying absolute losers who dont know the basics.

Nitpick, but the Fumigator and Vaiiya Filter are both gas masks, albeit slightly different models. For some reason, the Vaiiya filter can be worn with certain helmets that the Fumigator cannot be worn with, despite them occupying pretty much the same space. The only difference is that the Fumigator has a strap that goes over the top of the head, which would easily fit under helmets. Considering the Campsite Creeper mask has WAY more mass on top and still can be worn with helmets, this is a baffling decision. Again, dumb stuff like this holds the customization back a little for no reason.

hear me out. a world tour event where there are mortars placed around the arena and you can drop bombs on places when you aim into it but you canât see and it takes a second to sight in and out of it so you might have to defend it while someone shoots a mortar, also a long cooldown or a limited amount of mortars per team would work cool. (I also see this working as a heavy gadget or specialization)

It could have programmable ammo (as irl) where when close enough to an enemy, it would automatically explode (unless it detects it's gonna get a direct hit). Obviously, this means that its AoE DMG would be rather low, but it could be useful for chip damage or finishing off a target you've directly hit a few times.

Giving lite dev tools to players is an excellent way to boost the longevity and engagement of a game. Take Haloâs Forge mode and Gmod. Specifically looking at Halo Infinite and MCCâa good percentage of the population on those games is on the custom games browser on player-generated maps and modes.
I think a map editor would be an exceptional addition.

SERIOUS BUFF THE V9S. It is so underpowered. I have said it before, it a single tap weapon, which is better for long range, but has ABYSMAL damage at any range past 10 meters. Based on damage falloff its a close range weapon with decent long range abilities, but since its single fire, it suffers in accuracy. While the XP and M11 can spray and and afford to miss a few bullets, the V9S CANNOT MISS or else you WILL DIE. And youre telling me to get headshots with the TERRIBLE hipfire accuracy? Not happening.
Also, FCAR is WAY too accurate and powerful, even at range. I dont have the stats and I dont care, I have enough experience fighting it to say it's too much. If they can melt me in ~0.7 seconds from 30+ meters with an AR thats too powerful. I cant even get CLOSE to them half the time. Even when taken by suprise they seem to land every shot and kill me. Im in Plat right now and 7/10 mediums run FCAR. Lights are underpowered this season beyond reason, with the exception of XP.
And finally, for the LOVE OF GOD, make people MUCH MORE inaccurate while FLYING THROUGH THE AIR. Mediums have a nasty habit of using jumppad to fucking airstrike, and somehow while flying through the air they can take 3/4 of my health before landing. Fix this

I'm definitely just bad at the game, but as a light player I feel like it would be more fun if someone couldn't drop on you and take you out in .3 seconds to take you out for half a minute. I think it would be cool if respawn times where based on how long it took to kill you. Dying to D.O.T should give you the full 30 second time, while getting marked by an SH1900 (kill time for lights is on trigger pull) would only give like 10 seconds.

But to be totally honest this only happens more in late night NA when the player pool is smaller. Some of the worst most toxic experiences Ive had with the game have mostly been late night NA. Peak hours is chill.

World Tour is unplayable without a 3-stack... I think I played around 10 games of WT by now - and every single game has been a really bad experience. I think 8/10 games I had leavers and teammates ending with 0 elims and combat score < 300! The 2 games I had without bad teammates we were still completely stomped by 3-stacks. Something needs tweaking in match making. Leaver penalties, and potentially even warning solo- and duo queuers against playing. I would love to play this game mode - because the rules are much better than QM - but as it stands it is simply unplayable.
I think itâs pretty good. The damage falloff comes on early but isnât actually that severe. Hipfire accuracy is also really rather good. Main positive traits that you omitted are that it reloads very fast and has an 800 damage mag, which is really quite powerful. If it had too much of a range buff Iâm pretty confident it would become the best light weapon.

The last one is interesting to me since usually people are calling for the opposite of that. Enemies on a jump pad are quite easy to hit though.

Is the Spear ever going to get a hitbox change on its spin attack? Itâs wildly inconsistent and is only really good at killing lights in small corners.
The hitbox for the swings tracks the spear accurately, so it swings ABOVE peopleâs heads because of the stupid animation being so over the top. Just flatten the hitbox into a circle around the player and itâll actually be a usable weapon.

Allowing players to work on old battlepasses would be a gamechanger. I stopped playing halfway through season 1 due to the balancing being annoying to play against and I've come back and played another 150 hours. Starter packs can remain as the "OG" or exclusive cosmetics. Either that, or allow some rewards to be redeemed after the season is done. Perhaps after completing a battlepass you gain a cosmetic token that allows you to unlock one cosmetic or bundle from a previous battlepass. This would not only incentivise grinding, but the token could be used for exclusive redeems for players that already completed a battlepass.

This is insane, the S6 is the worst for SoloQ. It is almost impossible to play with randoms, and even more impossible to play DUO. EMBAAARRRRKKK please, make queues prioritize your party composition rather than matchmaking time. When queueing with a friend (who deleted the game yesterday due to impossible matchmaking), as DUO, I would rather wait for 10 minutes and play with all randoms/other DUOs around our skill, rather than get yeeted in a lobby full of 3-stack sweats that never saw sun or touched grass, and play with cheats and/or mouse&keyboard on fucking consoles (for the last part at least give us, console players, more aggressive aim assist at least)

World Tour is THE BIG MODE where casuals first make their move to after quick cash. And its the worst mode at the moment. Hold Rubys and already E1 players away from casuals. This game wont grow if our "oh so good old" veterans stomp the recruits into hell. If they need to wait for matches so be it. Not all are as grindy as sweaty as them. It just hurts the growth.

@paper meadow Yes it's become a selfish gadget for randoms trying to boost their stats and don't care when or where they defib you. And us not being able to swap classes when getting randomly revived is annoying as well.
Doesn't help either that "Revive A Teammate" is a daily contract. Makes people prioritise that over smart revives. The nerfs of defib was clearly made from a competitive/squad/party viewpoint. But us solo players suffer from it since we take time to respawn, spawn with half the health, and can't use any specializations or gadgets for a time after.
Want people to keep playing the game? Annoying things like these can play a part in players quitting. Isn't exactly rare to get defibbed.

i do however play dagger and thats a perfect counter for a greedy sword user so I have to give benefit of the doubt for those struggling and I think the only real issues with the sword + dash is the absurd range and phantom hits - no doubt phantom hits is some crazy ahh bug that just needs to be fixed, and the range is possibly something that could be fixed by having the highest momentum prioritise in a dash lunge so that you only have the dash momentum without the addition of the lunge momentum
im only imagining however how annoying this would be for any dash sword user as nerfing the range obliterates the whole shtick of the sword's playstyle over any other melee

I have to say I agree with the idea of changing WT points. With the introduction of QP points this season, trying to complete that as well as WT and Ranked is way too much content to complete for the rewards offered. I love what you suggested, but don't entirely agree with making the max points for getting into Round 2 lower (although I like the fact that overall the points you can gain is higher).
I absolutely love the gradual money idea. It rewards teams who are able to steal as well as the people who actually put the money in for themselves and who can hold it, and as you say it lessens third party impact by giving them less to take overall if they do third party.
About the Cerberus damage, if you wanted the fire to be the brunt of the damage dealt, I'd put it on the lower side of about 10 per pellet and possibly make the fire damage 20 after one shot, 35 after 2 and 50 after 3 to encourage players of the gun to hit their shots, as without QM this would be the only way to kill a heavy, and would actually allow lights to not immediately be one shotted, while still, I believe, giving users of the Cerberus a good opportunity to kill them. To compensate I'd slightly increase the range by a few meters so it's a little more viable.
In my opinion the trivialisation of defibs comes from it being a daily challenge to revive people. This straight up needs to be changed and replaced with either opening 1 vault, starting 1 cashout, or stealing 1 cashout, as it would encourage people to actually play cashout based modes, which should be the main draw of the game (honestly the ranked and WT systems need some changes in matchmaking and they'd be so much better after just those)

Please change the ranked points loss when teammates leave, it is unfair to 2v3 and then lose up to a 1000 points. Its is a team based game and not winnable unless you have 3 people playing. The person leaving gets a punishment, which is good. But the rest of the team also get punished, which isnt.

sh1900 is very inconsistent. Sometimes it can barely deal ~150 damage from 2 shots while just literally inserting the barrel into the heavy's body

heavy: this ability would put the heavy in some sort of rage, increasing fire rate, ammo capacity and destructibility, for melees, it increases the movement and swing speed, addrionally this ability would recharge slightly for every kill.
medium: some kind of battle call that either gives bonus health and increased movement speed or refreshing all abilities for nearby teamates (will NOT refresh a refresh) (also the refresh doesnt benefit the medium if they dont buff another teamate)
medium slime gadget: when thrown on teamates, i will give them more health, but if thrown on enemies, it slows them down
note: the finals if you use any of these ideas, i demand the next camo to be cow print and maybe some sort of cow print clothes.

Rewards for coming first in your bracket for ranked NEED to be a thing, this would prevent unnecessary griefing, the only issue is ELO inflation, but if every team, especially the first is inclined to stay first, there will be less doubling and more strategic playing to ensure staying in first.
High ELO Cashout is not really fun, especially when you do mostly everything right, and the last box gets doubled and youâre kicked out for simply being second.
The incentive to being first and how it differs from ranked was highlighted in PHL, where second and first had a solid difference in points gained based on positioning.
Yes there was griefing, but not to the extent of double last box haha focus second team fair gameplay.
The second thing that needs to be fixed is cashout itself, 3rd partying is still an issue even though s3 promised a more robust and balanced gamemode as it was âshelvedâ temporarily for TA. We have not received much, and the only changes have been to WT have not affected Ranked in the slightest.
Lastly, spawn quality has deteriorated severely since the beginning of Season 6, Monaco especially has been affected the worst and continues to play horrible due to the spawns piling up on one active cashout.

Sometimes I wish heavy had more potential for set play like being able to drag the cash out without using the winch claw it probably wouldnât go super well but I just feels weird having them be the same size as the cash out without any consistent way to move it. Make the Ranked and World Tour rewarding more fair
In ranked we spend 20 minutes to win +1000 while spending 8 minutes to lose 1000. The maximum amount of ranked points we lose has to be 500 maximum at any place. But this is in the lobbys with the same or close enough ranks. The game can just send you to the lobby with Diamond ranks while you are the gold 4 or 3. In that cases we have to lose even less points like -40 for the 7-8 place in tournament. This is because of the player base and it's amount.
Also the rewarding in world tour is unfair as well. You can win all cashout except last put a lot of effort and time and win no points for the 5-6 and 7-8 place in tour. That's why i ask you to give +2 points for 5-6 and 7-8 place, +8 for 3-4 instead of +6,+16 for second place instead of +14 and +27 for the first place instead of 25

I just thought they were better until a teammate of mine mentioned a lot of my shots were not registering. Iâd like to have in-game ping to see if that could be the issue
Bring back animation cancel for pump shotties. They all feel so sluggish now. Why is it fair that some weapons like double barrel and cerb can melee in between shots without losing dps while some can't? For the sake of realism? It doesn't make sense in a game like the finals. Model would be viable again but not op. Ks23 and matter would be viable again. SA12 would be slightly better but not OP and put it in a good spot. The game would just be better with it back.

Suggestion, let us sell weapons/sights/gadgets that we donât have unlocked by default for a 50-75% VRs return. Would help a lot to alleviate the issues of the VRs system and allow people to at least get a refund on stuff they donât like, especially sights. Afaik, thereâs no real way to test reticles and optics on guns without purchasing them first in game. Youâd have to go online to YouTube or something to see how it looks, which shouldnât be the case.

I think the flash effect on the flash bang lasts way too long. It's really frustrating to be effected by in TDM especially because I'm constantly being flashed every 2 seconds. It's a little too severe in my opinion.

Still no stun gun. When claw do 5dmg, grab you and stun you, like the stun gun but it's still here and even buff this season. Nice. It's unfair. Claw + Hammer + Punch = Free Kill.

- Add "step" in the reload animation so when you climb on something during a reload, it's not completly reset.
- Increase the netcode/tickrate/servers. Getting kill at 3m far from a hammer/sword or behind a wall / door / cover is not ACCEPTABLE. Servers can't register your movements
- Perma ban cheaters
- Add a report option " AFK on purpose " in the report section in game please. I'm maining Light and it happens that player AFK just because they don't want Light in their team. You can let them on your game.
- Let us choose our sight weapons at the beginning of a game
- Let us go in practice with friends
- Delete low gravity event. It's not fun AT ALL and unfair for Light. Movement are cancel and they only got 150HP
- Random skin and charm list for weapons/gadgets
- We shouldn't lost point in ranked when a team mate leave the squad and didn't play during the round
- Let us invite friends or join them in group even if we are not the group leader
- Add the possibility to look at the profil/card of friends and recent players.
- Dash is trash with your netcode. Servers can't register a dash behind a cover and you will die anyway
- **Give us the possibility to customize rules in private match. Like "only M and Dual Blade", "only Light and SR84", "only marksman", "No heal, Light only and grenade only". You can imagine all you want and put it in private match for streamer and their community to make the game more fun **
- Let us use our VR for XP weapons or other things (not from me but very interresting idea !)

- CB01-Repeater is just stupidly strong and OP. Nerf this weapons fast before all the new/come back players leaves your game again and for ever. EDIT : Nevermind, it's already happening
- CL40 buff was too much. Need to nerf it again. EDIT : AND YOU GIVE 1K$ by kill in WT for this !
- Buff Vanish Bomb and make it start regen instant. It will increase survability for the Light and it can be use for your teammates too !
- The Sword buff was not necessary in 5.8
- Nerf Turret range.
- The FAMAS nerf is useless in 5.8
- Nerf proximity sensor range
- Reduce the radius of the reflect of the Dual Blade or let us shoot in the feet or something else to let us counter DB when you got an AR
- Nerf Cerberus damage.
- Nerf the range of the KS shotgun. You can put 100 dmg at 20m easy.
- Nerf PIKE to 48 instead of 50 dmg. You know what you did in 5.8 with that.
- LH1 nerf was to strong in 6.0. Buff it to 45 dmg.
- Buff Light survability or DPS. Light should be the DPS class but the game is always around Medium and Heavy class
- Nerf a bit Deagle damage or range
- Flamethrower and hook should NOT get you through walls or other.
- Nerf the right clic sword + Dash on Light. You couldn't dash with your sword charged
- Revive and Objectives score should add additional points in ranked
- Rework defib: Reduce the cooldown reset to 5s and give 100HP instead of 50% of your HP. It will force Medium to revive more safety !

I've been thinking about an idea that I don't know if it's been given before or something like that, but it would be great if you could customize the death explosion. What I'm going with this is that instead of exploding into coins, you'll explode dice, caps, tokens, bills, etc. Small things that don't obstruct or bother the gameplay, so you feel more freedom when creating your avatar đ

World tour point system needs a rework, getting 6 points for getting into round 2 is insane.
Realistically getting 3rd in round 1 should net you 3 points then second and first should be 5 points
Second round 3rd place should get 5, second and first should net you 10(these all stack with the finals round results) winning final should net you 30 points losing should net you 20
so all in all in round one you come 1st you get 5 points, in round 2 you come first again you get 15 and in the final if you win you get 45 points. ATM the point system just feels meh this is me spitballing btw if you've got better solutions i would love to here it.

Cerberus is very unique it should have its fire damage be the brunt of its damage, every pellet should start fire damage but its overall pellet damage (that isn't from be fire) should be nerfed probably round to less than the model so 10 per pellet whilst making the fire damage do 20 the first shot then 35 then 50 to offset the lose of immediate damage give it a few extra meters of range
Famas might need a slight recoil adjustment to make it less easy (currently the best ar by a mile) and/or a damage nerf
Additionally would love for clubs to be expanded upon, we have contracts for clubs i would love to see a leveling system giving players a unique cosmetic for reaching certain clan levels, club contracts aren't the only thing that should level the club up playing and winning with club mates should increase rank (not as much as the contracts but should still impact the level)
Might just be me but playing light without stun gun has been great as it frees up an extra slot and makes it so i can experiment with other gadgets without feeling like a big detriment to my team play (would love for it to either be not a guaranteed pick for high level lights kit or removed completely) i feel this way about defibs as well as they trivialize resing and fights most of the time plus them and movement are instant picks for mediums kits in high level.
Any fixes for the no sprint no shoot and constant sonar bug in the works ?

huh, winch claw buffed? That stun delay reduction hurt it a lot more than the +2m range buffed it imo. Winching now typically puts you at a damage output disadvantage by stunning you for longer than the target, which is pretty critical.

headhunter is so bad ive been hardstuck in plat 4 for 5 days. according to the finals stats out of the last 12 games ive played ive only made it to the second round twice. i know its not a skill issue because i was able to make to plat playing the first two weeks. its not even fun to play. its so hard to comeback when two teams kill ur bounty and keep theres. you basically have to play perfect or be an elite fragger to win.

The grapple hook keeps pulling u in a wall unless u cancel it but it would be better if u could stick to walls for a few seconds and u can aim and shoot but it's for a limited time to avoid camping,maybe even a wall jump from the wall u grappling to
The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use,make it so there isn't a gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.
Add fanning revolver for light with incendiary bullets but they r projectile but hit hard,u can use fanning action to quickly fire bullet.
Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x,wall penetration and NO bullet deviation.

Embark 100% needs to bring back battle passes tbh and just have events,ranked rewards and sponsors rewards exclusive
Rewards for coming first in your bracket for ranked NEED to be a thing, this would prevent unnecessary griefing, the only issue is ELO inflation, but if every team, especially the first is inclined to stay first, there will be less doubling and more strategic playing to ensure staying in first.
High ELO Cashout is not really fun, especially when you do mostly everything right, and the last box gets doubled and youâre kicked out for simply being second.
The incentive to being first and how it differs from ranked was highlighted in PHL, where second and first had a solid difference in points gained based on positioning.
Yes there was griefing, but not to the extent of double last box haha focus second team fair gameplay.
The second thing that needs to be fixed is cashout itself, 3rd partying is still an issue even though s3 promised a more robust and balanced gamemode as it was âshelvedâ temporarily for TA. We have not received much, and the only changes have been to WT have not affected Ranked in the slightest.
Lastly, spawn quality has deteriorated severely since the beginning of Season 6, Monaco especially has been affected the worst and continues to play horrible due to the spawns piling up on one active cashout.

Donât nerf cerb, make it interesting. It has that fire effect why is it still basically just a big boring shotgun after all this time.
Drop the pellet damage and lower how many pellets are needed to start DOT, then increase the duration slightly. SO it will maintain its current effectiveness even at slightly longer ranges but you need to allow the fire to proc and burn down, meaning it is a stronger run and gun harassment and/or suppression tool while loosing its power in an up front fight. It will also function then better as a fire tool, burning grass goo and gas much easier. Iâd go as far as to say leave a fire effect on the ground, even if it means lowering the base damage further.
Frankly I donât have any problems fighting against it as is right now, itâs a shotgun after-all just run away (hey that works for the sword too you know.) But I find it deeply uninteresting in the lineup, when it COULD be an extremely useful tool.

Every round of every game ends with griefing, even if I have anon mode on the strongest triple stacked team sees my stats and that I'm a threat so they always end up exploiting my unreliable soloque lowbot npc teammates, its causing alot of burn out so please add a 3v3 style ltm atleast.

Please please allow us to use gloves with watches, AND wristbands đđ˝đđ˝. For example the skeleton gloves donât allow you to wear a watch or wristband while using them. However with the metro drifter gloves you can wear a watchâŚand on top of that the default lanyard braceletâs position on the forearm is above the watch, with enough room where visually it shouldnât clip into each other. Just one of those quality of life/customization changes that would be cool to add. I just feel like the wristbands, and watches become useless items if you canât pair them together⌠also add a pocket watch plz!!!!!!

i really like the idea of a turret, but in practice it often feels underwhelming to me
it could potentially be changed to 2 smaller turrets with faster charge up but less hp and damage
they could be spread out as early detection, placed around a defensive hold as distraction, or as panic close range self defense option, while being easier to pick off individually (and so hopefully being less of an issue to those that had problems with it before)
it might help it see more interesting ways to change the battle scape for both parties
there are other candidates that i think could be deserving
cloak could for example be made 100% invisible but only allow attacks after uncloaking
but i dont know how feasible these changes are

These are for mainly newer players and just some thoughts.
Please make it so we get more vrs, everything is expensive and newer players aren't going to get many weapons/gadgets/specs because of it. Since new weapons are getting added, make it so 3 weapons are unlocked from the start for every class instead of 2. That way, newer players at least have 1 more weapon to try out because 2 feels restricted at this point

I think upping the fire damage, reducing the raw damage, and decreasing rate of fire slightly will do the trick. It's functioning close to Double Barrel lethality with a lot of pressure, its DPS is just insane.

It could have programmable ammo (as irl) where when close enough to an enemy, it would automatically explode (unless it detects it's gonna get a direct hit). Obviously, this means that its AoE DMG would be rather low, but it could be useful for chip damage or finishing off a target you've directly hit a few times.

After reviewing your video, I disagree with your message, it is 33% UNLUCKY and skill issue between you and team NOT coordinating with Medium's healing and Heavy's shield while you're stealing. After escaping with teleport and with low health, you keep moving outside while making a lot of noise (dematerializing and breaking windows) and exposing yourself without cover to random enemies. You need to learn to find cover/hide without noise until health regeneration.

What is the biggest problem about why this game is unpopular?
Not light, not smurfing, not balance.
Every game has smurfs and annoying playstyles, but only The Finals is actually dying.
Honestly, I think itâs because the game just isnât solo queue friendly.
Iâve brought over 10 friends from other FPS games to try it. Most of them really liked it and played a lot at first. But around half of them quit after a month or two.
And it's not because the game isn't fun.
Itâs because they couldnât find solid teammates, and the game doesnât give you enough tools to play well without a squad.
Take Apex for exampleâit has a great ping and marker system, so even solo players can easily stay on the same page as their team.
But The Finals? If no oneâs using a mic, the game becomes 10x harder. The ping system is straight up bad.
The worst part? The real fun in this game is figuring out how to counter weird strategies and combining your loadout with your teamâs.
But that only works if your team is actually working together. Competitive players donât like it because it feels like youâre just blindly running around.
They say itâs all noise, messy visuals, and nothing feels meaningful. And when something is funâlike nukesâit just gets nerfed or removed.
If Embark really wants to balance for competitive players, theyâve gotta make the game way more solo queue friendly first.

nerf XP45 it has replaced the old M11 as the annoying light gun. I don't think it needed the +1dmg buff I think people only said it was weak because of how broken the M11 was. Instead of reducing its damage by 1 again you could change it's min/max damage falloff multiplier so it does 0.5 less dmg. Then it would be in the sweet spot.

sword and dagger should both have their secondary attacks as push to activate and nothing else. This buffs the dagger as its problem is the annoying timing hence you added an fov change (that proves it was an issue) and sword being press to lunge would nerf its dash synergy as you couldn't negate the slow walk speed by just dashing to someone with lunge pre charged and insta stab them. You'd have to be more methodical with when you attack as it should be.

Can you guys make it so you can duplicate the builds in the contestants screen? Otherwise, say if you wanted to make a competitive version of your normal medium loadout, but then you have to go through and manually re-choose all the skins, charms, sights, and stickers on all your weapons and gear, you have to re-equip all your sprays, voicelines and emotes, and it would take hours to fully copy everything over perfectly. If there was just a 'Duplicate Contestant' button so you could make a new one with all that already equipped, it would be much much faster.

The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use,make it so there isn't a gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.
Add fanning revolver for light with incendiary bullets but they r projectile but hit hard,u can use fanning action to quickly fire bullet.
Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x,wall penetration and NO bullet deviation.
Add kusarigama for light,primary attacks hit like sword but alt attack is u spin the chain and blade 160 degrees in front of u and most damage where blade hits not the chain,itâs skill based cause u hold down alt and the more u hold the longer u throw and only the blade part damages when spinning plus u can move your aim while spinning to make blade go in that direction.
To simply put it,the melee alt is more like aim and shoot but use aim to move the blade and hit box.
There r two ways of implementing this,either the melee projectile starts from an arc from the left side and goes to the centre line and move as u change your aim or the projectile starts from the crosshairs and moves where u move your aim
U may change between the two using a different stance using the weapon inspection button or add more combos using that button.
Either u canât use light spec when using alt or give this weapon to medium with a wall run gadget or else itâs the most dull experience chasing player as a medium

Make match money be worth any kind of progress, right now progress is only dictated by who wins, or by which teams gets 1st or 2nd place, meaning that there's no reason to get the most money out of matches, just getting 1st, or for fun (70k and up for example)
I posted a WT suggestion like this not so long ago, but I'll post it alongside this other suggestion just as an idea of how it could work
For example, if you have a good fight in the last match and end up 25k vs 50k, you would at least end up getting 2 extra points than if you didn't fight and let the other team win

Sword is, with this patch, now unironically the single worst weapon in the game. Not only is it a melee weapon on Light, itâs one that just literally lost every single breakpoint that matters:
- Lunge + QM no longer kills Lights which makes it literally unusably bad versus Lights, because Lights kill other Lights fast with literally anything but somehow a melee weapon comboing a Light was a problem according to shitters on Reddit and Discord

Its very upsetting that the model and ks23 are deeply affected by jab cancel. I understand that you want these to weapons to play at a specific range but the lack of jab cancel ends up making them worthless at close range.
Ks23's best specialisation is winch as it enhances what makes the weapon good and makes up for the weapon's weakness. The other specialisations, while are fine picks, do not specifically enhance the weapon in any specific way. Ks23 cannot take advantage of the quick switch to goo gun as it needs to pump, can't take advantage of mesh either well because of pump, charge and slam isn't that amazing of a specialisation and ks23 excels more at pumping out damage in close range without it (not to mention that it can break walls on its own). Ks23 is very much enhanced by winch due to its free one shot with it. However, the removal of jab cancel has really hurt the feel, fun and effectiveness of the weapon at close range and with winch. You can be more disciplined and be more careful with jabs, but it is still just far weaker than other weapons without jab cancel at close range. Not to mention that all of heavy's other weapons can jab as they please and close the gap in health far faster than ks23.
Model is another weapon that's far more enhanced by jab and the lack of jab cancel hurts it deeply. Again, I understand that you would like the weapon to play at a certain range, however, because of the damage nerf to the model, it has made jab combos with the weapon more important than ever. It has made model most effective at jab range and borderline worthless at mid range despite the fire rate buff. Not to mention that it's a shotgun and long range is simply not an option for the model. At close range, it is also simply just outclassed by cerberus, which doesn't need jab cancel.
What's most frustrating is cerberus not being held down by the constraints of jab. It doesn't need jab at all to be effective but isn't affected if it uses jab in-between shots

I think a sword nerf would have been much better done in fixing unintended behaviour and slowing down animations, rather than reducing its lunge damage. Iâm aware that the former is more work, but this just seems kind of disappointing.

I'm not saying sword couldn't be countered, ofc it could, but from the looks of it many people were frustrated with it. So fine, nerf it. It's the same in other games. If the majority of the playerbase does not enjoy something, at some point the devs have to listen or the actual playerbase will begin quitting or playing less.

World tour point system needs a rework, getting 6 points for getting into round 2 is insane.
Realistically getting 3rd in round 1 should net you 3 points then second and first should be 5 points
Second round 3rd place should get 5, second and first should net you 10(these all stack with the finals round results) winning final should net you 30 points losing should net you 20
so all in all in round one you come 1st you get 5 points, in round 2 you come first again you get 15 and in the final if you win you get 45 points. ATM the point system just feels meh this is me spitballing btw if you've got better solutions i would love to here it.

Cerberus is very unique it should have its fire damage be the brunt of its damage, every pellet should start fire damage but its overall pellet damage (that isn't from be fire) should be nerfed probably round to less than the model so 10 per pellet whilst making the fire damage do 20 the first shot then 35 then 50 to offset the lose of immediate damage give it a few extra meters of range
Famas might need a slight recoil adjustment to make it less easy (currently the best ar by a mile) and/or a damage nerf
Additionally would love for clubs to be expanded upon, we have contracts for clubs i would love to see a leveling system giving players a unique cosmetic for reaching certain clan levels, club contracts aren't the only thing that should level the club up playing and winning with club mates should increase rank (not as much as the contracts but should still impact the level)
Might just be me but playing light without stun gun has been great as it frees up an extra slot and makes it so i can experiment with other gadgets without feeling like a big detriment to my team play (would love for it to either be not a guaranteed pick for high level lights kit or removed completely) i feel this way about defibs as well as they trivialize resing and fights most of the time plus them and movement are instant picks for mediums kits in high level.
Any fixes for the no sprint no shoot and constant sonar bug in the works ?

The problem is that the frustration with sword (and light in general) is not the weapon itself. Sword synergizes massively with dash, which is a terribly designed specialization. It's entirely a skill check for tracking, and whether or not you pass determines if you get trounced or if the opposing light can even play the game. M11 is another weapon that catches a ton of shit despite being perfectly balanced, because it synergizes with dash.
If you redesigned dash to actually rely on the skill of the player using it there would be absolutely no need to nerf sword.
There's a certain level of catharsis when it comes to the sword nerf.
Is it too much? Probably. But most sword players gloated and rubbed in every nerf I suffered as a Medium, and every nerf that Heavies suffered, for the last three seasons.

Please add remote detonated fire bombs, gas and smoke for light. For medium and heavy add a throwable that inflates into the balloons that drop barrels on impact. Creating a small balloon that can be carried around and when thrown wont break unless shot, it will only drop 2 barrels. Please make this for every barrel variant. This would add more chaos and planning into the game

The Sword is one of the highest skill-cap weapons in the game â this nerf feels like itâs catering to a loud minority of players who donât know how to counter it. There is a reason there are not a lot of sword lights in high elo ranked gameplay....
Most of us who actually use it know how often we get deleted by SMG dash-spammers, glitch grenades / mines, winches, and anything with range. The skill required to make Sword work is MUCH higher than people give it credit for.

Okay â but then why is the SH1900 still untouched? Especially after the Cloak buff, people are just running around one-shotting with a shotgun that takes 1% of the brain power and skill the Sword does.
And letâs be real â even without the Stun Gun, Light players are STILL running around absolutely SHREDDING with the XP54 and M11. Itâs made barely any difference.
Going from 140 to 105 is massive. Now it takes FOUR lunges to kill a Heavy. FOUR. When you only have three dashes, and you're already being lasered the whole time. Thatâs if itâs even a clean 1v1, which most fights arenât. This just makes Sword feel completely unrewarding, even when played perfectly.
This has made the Sword completely unviable as a weapon you can win a 1v1 with.
Please revisit this change and consider bumping the damage slightly â or adjust it in a way that keeps Swordâs identity intact without making it too oppressive for inexperienced players.

I do not understand. Sword is a puny toothpick now. I used to play Sword in like S1 and S2, but switched to different weapons now. It can be frustrating if the Swordplayer is good. But it was always a fair fight with them, at least imo, either they get me first or the other way around.
When I play XP or M11 I need to hit my shots so they canât even get close, they need to get the jump on me, which means I messed up on my awareness imo.
I get a nerf but this is overdoing it.
Meanwhile Cerberus needs to be monitored still, instead of hitting the nerf button as well. CL40 should not have been buffed either imo.
When it comes to oneshots does that mean things like @tropic merlin mentioned are next? Idk about the others but that sounds incredibly boring and will probably ruin all of those weapons just like Sword.
The irony of nerfing one of the best counters to Light, to appease people who hate Light under the guise of helping Lights is pure comedy. TK can one shot Lights. DB can not only one shot Lights, it two taps everything in the game. I wonât even start on the ICBM that is hammer. Embark needs to call a spade a spade and stop pretending they nerfed sword to appease other Lights. Completely agree. As someone who rarely uses sword these days anyway (yet have faced sword users many times in the past) the weapon was mostly well balanced. The fact light players seem to have the biggest issue with nowadays is frankly maddening to me when I know that many sword users refused to use the weapon against them due to their movement. Clearly the stun gun was giving them way too much of a crutch as there's a near infinite number of weapons and gadgets that could delete even the most savvy sword user. To reduce the sword's ability to one shot light when, as you yourself have said, the SH1900 remains untouched, is undeniably a criminal decision by Embark.
I would also like to add some further, perhaps more scathing comments, but reality checks I think are needed:
The fact is this server has almost 500,000 members and of them I only see hundreds of comments complaining about sword every day. That's roughly 1%, and some of these may well be repeats every few hours. I recently lost a 2v1 to a single sword light, only dealing 30 damage to him. While this may be used as evidence to suggested the overpoweredness of the sword, the fact was that my aim was just bad. Once you get past the panic of a small guy dashing at you with a sword, it's not impossible to kill with solid play. While I can't expect casuals to play with perfect aim there at least needs to be an impetus on players to learn how to aim, since it's a key component of a gun game.
Absolutely it shouldn't be oppressive to inexperienced players, and to this end I would recommend a few possible solutions to nerf the sword, albeit perhaps more passively.
⢠Remove phantom hits and other unorthodox techniques.
⢠Make the sword also employ QM with lunge to kill.
⢠Change up sword/smoke synergy.
And most importantly:
⢠Give all weapon/gadget/spec in the game a video explaining what each does and how to use them
⢠Give descriptions of what each is good/bad against to create counterplay.
Revert Moolah nerf.

ive tested out the sword in practice range, and with the evasive dash the sword has hit people that were not in range. evas dash sword exploit is the reason why theyre complaining so much. with evas dash you just have to flick left and right without any precise aim after u do the lunge attack with the evas dash, to dish out damage. becuase it takes huge unfair advantage of desync and whatnot.
its dumb because this way theyre not taking much skill other than closing the gap on their opponents. and pls, the sword should NOT be better at crowd control than flamethrower.
and sword IS bad at long range obv, but ususally when ur defending ur cashout or vault, unless ur in kyoto theres a lot of tight spaces that gives the swords an advantage.

As a sword main I do agree it needed to be nerfed though not in this way I believe sword is about positioning and outplaying your opponent, but with that amount of damage being taken away makes it near useless even if you do get the jump on your enemies, if your opponent has half decent aim they could easily mow you down or in the case of other lights just dash away. The fact that xp-54 didnât even get slightly modified is baffling Iâm tired of playing 5v5 light matches where everyone is using the xp-54 and dash because itâs the very obvious meta and over powered even against sword users prior to the patch. If anything is the issue I think dash needs to be modified as thatâs what made the sword âoverpoweredâ to begin with and still allows xp-54 users to be as strong as they are.

Nah, I play light a lot. The problem is definitely on "DASH", this specialize just genuinely too good on every situation and every weapon. Dash can combine with dagger and is also broken just much more hard to learn, BUT all the melee weapon include SWORD with invis or grapple is total trash. And of course most of the GUNS player also choose DASH more than other specialize. You see the problem here? DASH gives you "combat movement" "escape chance". Everything you need in the game to improve direct combat skill if you are not that good is all on DASH. Even they nerf DASH to longer CD twice as much than now people still ganna choose it but not grapple. It is just a sad fact that this specialize is broken and too good in everyway for light class. ""ALL melee weapon itself should really not be nerf cause is already too weak by counter by LOCK BOLT, STUN GUN, VORTAX or any gadget in the future can restrict character, and worse light on melee even get counter by everything that can glitch you. none of these gadget is over power to any long range weapon, only melee weapon is dead counter by these. If you don't want people to play melee weapon you should just remove it but not let it unplayable. Although sword was probably overly nerfed, people need to stop with these garbage talking points saying that sword is the "highest skill" weapon to use, sword was the easiest melee weapon to play with in this game, and takes way less effort to be effective with compared to Sledge, Spear, Dagger, Dual Blades, and Riot Shield.
@sharp hollow I can't speak from controller perspective, but on KBM sword is easy to use, it already is so jarring to be on the receiving end of sword but it is probably impossible for controller players to fight back against it, sword literally had an effective melee range of 12m+ with dash which made it so much easier to use compared to true melee weapons with far more limited range.

On controller it is pretty difficult to use because of movement, but the exploits made it much easier to use. Regardless every sword dash sweat Iâve seen in lobbies was on PC where it is a no skill weapon for sure

edit: Sword being able to combo lights was never the problem, the real problem was being able to 2 hit a full hp team of mediums, nerf multhit so that it does around 30% less damage per target and bring the damage back up to something reasonable

The CB-01 repeater still has a mistimed animation for when you can melee after shooting, causing it to rechamber despite finishing the animation.
It takes 13 shots to destroy a zipline and 17 to destroy a tree. And in certain areas, the smoke that comes up from shooting the repeater is way too opaque to see through this blinding you in certain instances.

Sword nerf: extremely uncommon Embark W. MY FAITH IN THE GAME HAS BEEN SLIGHTLY RESTORED!
Sword nerf is hamfisted and destroys the breakpoints needed for it to be viable against skilled players. Better solutions need to be found to sate the crowd that finds it "unfair", like nerfing damage on multi-hits ( or subsequent hits) , altering the quick-melee on light or buffing quick-melee for other classes. Phantom slashing and gadget swap cancels should be removed as well.
Alternatively the damage to the lunge could progressively be charged to hit the old breakpoints ( If held for double the time it takes to charge a normal lunge). This would force the sword into a more ambush style of play , and limits the damage a light can do by charging from a large distance away.
Another option could be to add in a vital/non-vital hit system which dictates damage dealt. Firearms already calculate whether a shot's on the head or the rest of the body and applies the appropriate multiplier, I'm certain it would reduce the beyblade spin-to win charging since you need to slice at particular angles for optimal damage. This would also give medium players the option to duck or slide under the blade to avoid the higher damage blow.
A "honing" mechanic could be added where the weapon dulls and gets damaged debuffed on consecutive hits, until it's restored via the reload button. Have that animation hinder movement so the light can't do it mid-skirmish without a cost. The weapon could dull significantly more for hitting terrain/riot shields which encourages less flailing around and more surgical lunges.
Make the sword more skilled/situational to use optimally or create damage methods that allow for player interactivity. Do not gut the damage to the point that it takes every resource available to do less damage with more risk.
Hello. I really enjoy playing The Finals and would like to give some feedback. I'm specifically interested in two points, and I hope they're working on changing or improving them.
Point 1:
Casual matchmaking.
The casual matchmaking for fast cash/DM and the like needs to be changed. Matching level 1 players with level 80 in the same round is absolutely not a good thing, and especially negative for new players and the new player experience. There needs to be a level cap, where new players up to that level are only matched with other low-level players. (Level 20 would be my suggestion.)
Point 2:
Clothing
We have a pretty cool and detailed system for creating our outfits in The Finals. However, the colors are really limited, as each outfit has fixed colors.
And that's not very positive, especially since some outfits could be combined really nicely, if it weren't for the color difference. A very current example is the red cap, which is the only cap worn backwards. It's actually really nice. But because it's red, it's difficult to integrate into outfits.
It would be great if there was a way to buy newly dyed outfits or color palettes.
This could be done partly through the in-game shop, partly through events, and partly for real money purchases, like Warframe.
Especially if you've been playing for a while and have all the weapons and gadgets, then the money is practically useless until the next update.
That would give the in-game currency more value and extend its direct use.

I very strongly oppose the sword nerf. I knew the most reasonable way to nerf it whould be by reducing the secondary's damage, but you have to increase the damage of the other two attacks as well! I was gonna suggest making the lunge do 124 so you cant just get two lucky haymakers on mediums anymore. as for the lights, as a sword main with 300 hours its actually extremely difficult to hit a "one shot" on a light. you literally have to catch them by surprise, in which case its a skill issue. if they see you coming and they have dash, the chances of your quick melee actually landing is so low. I hit lights with double luinge more often than I quick melee them. I do my best to complete every battle pass and I get a starter kit at the beginning of every season, but this might unironically make me and a lot of other sword mains quit playing alltogether.

Then they took us Bank it, which doesn't make any sense, only if they're going to revamp it, which they're not clear about what they're doing with that rather than "It's gone, poof"
Then sword, that doesn't make sense, since I HAD TO MASTER IT for more than 100 hours in this game, which, learning to aim takes less, helps in most games, and also it works in every weapons rather than melees
Sword WAS a new whole way to play, now to rely on left click seems very dumb, I know it was broken in the right hands
But THERE WAS COUNTERS TO IT, glitch trap, mines, glitch grenade, goo weapon from heavy, turrets, (back then) stun gun, Two barrel shotgun (I don't have to explain it more further), even the dashes on Light could counter it (If sword doesn't have more dashes, and the other player knows how to move, then it's pretty difficult to win the fight against 1s ttk weapons like v9s), Heavy spear with M2 (Yes, it was a counter, and a very hard one, since it's impossible to not win againt a Light with that), claw, even the nerfed without reason panic button charge n' slam, and even the new minigun
I particullary feel that every thing that I mentioned that counters the sword is okay, it's good

The wind up time is very long, the accuracy is very poor.
The grapple hook keeps pulling u in a wall unless u cancel it but it would be better if u could stick to walls for a few seconds and u can aim and shoot but it's for a limited time to avoid camping,maybe even a wall jump from the wall u grappling to
The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use,make it so there isn't a gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.
Add fanning revolver for light with incendiary bullets but they r projectile but hit hard,u can use fanning action to quickly fire bullet.
Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x,wall penetration and NO bullet deviation.
Sword was the weakest against light players even with the near instant kill potential it had. This nerf seems to hurt the worst against light players, making them even worse for a sword to deal with. I do not think this was a healthy approach.

Also agree on ur second edit. Sword had enough counters. I usually put barricades up so they dash into the barricade and my team shot the staggered light. People need to learn to play against swords @paper panther lowkey sometimes feel like the game devs should make more videos on countering niche weapons or the community just needs to show more tutorialâs on how to deal with shit.

Seeing a lot of people that are complaining about the sword getting nerfed too much. Haven't had a chance to try it yet but even if it is too underpowered now, you can still try a different weapon. Light has some of the highest dps as far as I know and it wouldn't kill everybody to pick something a little different instead of dashing around with sword for 20 minutes and calling it gameplay.
They literally said in the patch notes that this is what they are working on and that they will probably up the damage in the future, but this is pretty much a temp fix for how buggy and cheesy it has been.

If sword needs a nerf; consider making quick melee AGAINST IT more powerful somehow; maybe a counter-timed qm could have a knockback & small damage increase against sword. Or a sidestep mechanic like (quick melee counter+L/R movement = half a model sidestep & graze damage). Don't make the game easier to play, make people learn it better. Also some sort of shotgun/knockback/close range confetti-pop gadget could do. Lunge does unrealistic damage still at the end of it, when it's decelerated to almost a halt. You can make buggy kind of plays with that, agreed. Damage-wise it should be a curve, with a sweetspot in the middle = higher skill ceiling. Also mid-lunge mouse sensitivity should be decreased a lot, so that it's less maneuverable than now (while still being maneuverable to a degree). SH is going to need a nerf soon too, because it is already fully viable & powerful counter to sword, now it's probably overpowering.
Btw Charge & Slam is ridiculous against the sword, if they collide with a lunge, the lunge ends up doing 0 damage and even a small nudge from the C&S destroys the sword. Very unrealistic and unintuitive, BUT perhaps balance-wise this is a good counter.

World tour point system needs a rework, getting 6 points for getting into round 2 is insane.
Realistically getting 3rd in round 1 should net you 3 points then second and first should be 5 points
Second round 3rd place should get 5, second and first should net you 10(these all stack with the finals round results) winning final should net you 30 points losing should net you 20
so all in all in round one you come 1st you get 5 points, in round 2 you come first again you get 15 and in the final if you win you get 45 points. ATM the point system just feels meh this is me spitballing btw if you've got better solutions i would love to here it.

Would love to see some improvements in cashout and eventually ranked i feel like if you plug it in and hold it the money should gradually be given to you this will lessen the blow of 3rd parties and we can remove this plug meta its just a thought but i do feel like cashout needs something new its current system is meh imo

Cerberus is very unique it should have its fire damage be the brunt of its damage, every pellet should start fire damage but its overall pellet damage (that isn't from be fire) should be nerfed probably round to less than the model so 10 per pellet whilst making the fire damage do 20 the first shot then 35 then 50 to offset the lose of immediate damage give it a few extra meters of range
Famas might need a slight recoil adjustment to make it less easy (currently the best ar by a mile) and/or a damage nerf
Additionally would love for clubs to be expanded upon, we have contracts for clubs i would love to see a leveling system giving players a unique cosmetic for reaching certain clan levels, club contracts aren't the only thing that should level the club up playing and winning with club mates should increase rank (not as much as the contracts but should still impact the level)
Might just be me but playing light without stun gun has been great as it frees up an extra slot and makes it so i can experiment with other gadgets without feeling like a big detriment to my team play (would love for it to either be not a guaranteed pick for high level lights kit or removed completely) i feel this way about defibs as well as they trivialize resing and fights most of the time plus them and movement are instant picks for mediums kits in high level.
Creator cosmetics and or charms would be a cool thing to add to the game

Why does the limited-time mode have to be played in the form of forcing players to play loadouts, body types, and skins that they don't like? I've been playing the game since S1 and I've reached 1,200 hours of gameplay now, but I never play an extra round after I've completed a mission in limited-time mode.

5 ways to nerf sword that are actually nerfs and not just a borderline removal of the weapon (like reducing its damage to 105) from someone that actually uses the weapon
1: remove multihit
2: limit how much you can turn during a lunge (anything from 30 to 180 degrees would probably be fine)
3: reduce the hitbox length SLIGHTLY (about 15cm, not 55cm like last time)
4: shorten the amount of time the hitbox is active (its still up for a while even when the lunge has stopped)
5: add a cooldown between hitting someone with a lunge and quick meleeing (it would kill the lunge+qm x2 combo on heavy but im willing to sacrifice it)
I'm starting to thing that the devs are balancing the game based on what the community wants rather than what's best for the game:
We nerfed things that barely anybody uses anymore because of the wrong reasons:
-Nerfed dagger backstab angle when it was a server latency issue, and when the reddit community used fake evidence to complain about it
-Nerfed data reshaper because it was "too effective at countering turret", one of the weakest specializations in the game already
-Nerfed THE ENTIRE MAIN WEAPON of sword when it was perfectly stable and had plenty of counterplay options, outside of a couple of needed bug fixes. The community was just too stupid to learn the counterplay because this is a rare occasion of melee getting good stats in a shooter game
Not only am I disappointed with this patch, I'm disappointed how game balance is becoming too political because of how swayable the devs seem to be nowadays.
I really do miss the good patches in the early seasons of the game, thanks for ruining that entirely.
@tropic merlin Sniper rifle is the hardest weapon for one-shot on distance. I wrote about the barrel, I just called it something else. Knife is the hardest close-range weapon. Knives and bows don't one-shot

I support the suggestion another sword main made to give thrust a sweet spot that has its max damage and parts with minimal damage. It's ideal, bc that will mean most sword lights won't be instakilling anyone, but people who put in the time to learn will still have a powerful option, with positioning being very important to learn for opponents and users alike.

dear embark ... these sword changes are so brainless, i can't believe it, the real problem with this whole issue, that this weapon is so strong, is simply the dashes and the knuckle hits in the dashes, now you've destroyed the whole weapon and nobody plays sword until you buff them again and again. It's always the same with your game changes! here is a suggestion: disable knuckle hits if a class is playing melee weapons, there's no need for this, so they have to use there normal left and right clicks and one shots are disabled, or/and nerf these dashes to weaken the other overly strong weapons a bit like double barrel etc. dashes are the reason why these mechanic are so strong.

Make the full block for riot shield better. As it stands in almost every fight youâre at a disadvantage if you ever use full block. The fact that youâre stopped to a crawl when you full block is dumb. If Iâll be that slow that just makes it so my feet are blocked too. Iâd understand if the shield was faster moving in full block and it would a valid weakness to get shot in the feet but it isnât. Itâs slow as shit. Riot mains rarely use full block and bishopping is 100 times way better and basically does full block better than full block does full block đ.
Itâs a waste of a mechanic. It doesnât even fully block melee attacks. You literally have a better chance at blocking melee with bishopping than full blocking. Oh and the fact that full block doesnât allow you to body block for teammates because youâll interrupt their steal. Sure you can use it to interrupt enemy cash out steals but whenâs the last time youâve seen a player not stick their bodies up against the cash out. And as you know. You canât walk into a player if theyâre not your teammate. Itâs a completely useless mechanic that hurts more than it helps. Please just take another look at the riot shield.

What I am upset about is that now there are gonna be more sword players switching to other gun and going super sweaty to where people are gonna complain about the gun that they are gonna end up using such as the Bow, SH1900, XP, SR, and Throwing knives. Can the Dual Blades have a bigger angle of deflection? Currently the Dual blades can reflect bullets really only if the user is aiming directly back at the enemy(only about 15% of your display). I would like it so that you could riccochet bullets towards other enemies so you could get funny kills deflect kills by proxy of enemies allies. I would also think it would be cool if Dual blades can deflect ally bullets, effectively allowing your allies to shoot around corners using you. Similarly in Titanfall 2, the titan Ion can collect ally bullets for a strong burst damage option.
Something I also would like, when you parry a melee attack you get a special blade counter that comes out quicker and has a very small activation window it only deals 50 damage. This is so that blocking a melee attack can be rewarding since blocking melee attacks can be quite inconsistent.
I have no remorse for sword users but Im a guy that believes in equivalent exchange. Had yâall just nerfed stun gun range and cooldown this sword nerf couldâve have been avoided realistically stun doesnât need a rework it just needed nerfs

kinda pointless rant but the new DLSS transformer model looks like shit compared to what you guys already have in game. It looks better seemingly than it did when forcing it through the nvidia control panel, but compared to the CNN model its terrible, tonnes of smearing and ghosting compared to the CNN model which has none (at least in DLAA)

Hi, id like to out myself as a sword main myself. I donât feel that guilty about it since itâs funny to see people react to that information. As a person who played the sword since season 1 and practice the combos and techniques - id like to call myself competitively competent with the weapon and have taken it into world tour and ranked with success here and there.
Iâd also like to say im not one to post about these kinda things so please keep that in mind; but id like to comment on the most recent sword change.
Iâd like to gather my thoughts into some categories to help my brain dump what im trying to say - starting with Competitive Viability.
when talking about ranked or world tour, the finals is fairly open to different weapons outside of the meta being able to shine and secure wins - though thereâs always the safe/meta options that tend to secure wins more consistently.
The sword was definitely always off meta. It was always in this weird âyou can use it but be good at higher ranksâ tier that personally drove me to try harder against those who will fundamentally laser me down if im not careful. And while yes using a sword is always going to be easier than aiming, especially when you take into account the lingering hit box; and paired with dash, it definitely was safe to use the sword in quick play games or lower ranked WT and comp. But as you play higher and higher ranks, you realize how disadvantaged you are when up against people who understand the game far more than the normal player base. Using general counters like glitch traps, turrets, or just teams blasting me with bullets and coordination if I donât make careful decisions during the match.
These arenât hard counters obviously, but in general they do make the higher ranked games more challenging - which is definitely desired on my end at least because I love to push myself. But the damage nerfs make that already present disadvantage that much greater when now I have to go in with a weaker blade in a gun fight.
But speaking on entering a gun fight, id like to compare some other weapons in said fight that players apparently have little issue with - at least not as loud as swords hate.
The prime example id like to bring up is double barrel. Iâd like to make a general comparison t between double barrel and sword as their play styles are honestly quite similar, tho obviously not 1:1. If you want to be viable with the DB, you want to be up close, that way you do the max damage to your enemy. Similar to the sword, where you HAVE to be up close to do any damage, but high bursts of damage to the enemies once you land a hit. Obviously thereâs huge differences like requiring to aim and ammo, but for now bear with me here.
The complaint of the â1-shotâ with the sword strategy with the right click + melee on lights is the main focus on the nerf. And while yes, it isnât hard to perform - not no brain but not hard. DB? Itâs an insane amount of damage to any class. I have repeatedly heard my friends on heavy scream at how DB âshould not do 351 DMG on a headshotâ. Meanwhile, it takes plenty more time to deal with a heavy as a sword.
DB also has much more liberty when it comes to kit: invis, dash, hook⌠Sword? To be competitively viable, sword NEEDS dash to be able to play against range - and personally I also use vanishing bomb just to help close the gap.
This part definitely sounds much more of a rant, and I feel like I could go on about damage numbers when it comes to other weapons in the light class but id like to not go on for too long. The main point of this comparison is how this sword nerf isnât âjustâ, as a weapon like DB still exists and it isnât even a meta/problematic weapon in Embarkâs eyes.
TL;DR - the sword nerf feels unjust and just hurts those who play high rank games. Lights are low health for a reason and should die as easily to the weapons with high damage.

TBH, the Bow and TKs have always been kinda absurd in their own way. Ranged weapons should never get infinite ammo, even less so when they deal the kind of damage per hit these do. Even the worst players can pull off bullshit instant kills spamming them, especially against other Light players.
I'd like to see both get nerfed by a cooldown/reload but buffed on other aspects to keep them usable.

no point in playing this game. in wt you roll everyone, but in ranked at low plat you play only challenging lobbies where it's hard to get to top 4, and even if you manage with a 3 stack met on this discord server and get some points, you instantly lose that on next game. I don't know it just seems that in the current state of spawn system the game can never be really competitive, also the addition of world tour ruined the ranked mode and nobody plays it. just make the ranked one box with one cashbox and 3 teams like quick cash or something, currently it's a mess. I shouldn't be bouncing 10k points up and down again and again, but either slowly losing, gaining, or sitting around the same RS if the ranked system would work properly.
I am a DB main myself, but also do not agree with the Sword change. Oc I am biased but I regard DB dmg as fair, I was looking at Sword exactly the same. Both weapons are high risk high reward, at least I think so. If the whole team stands in one spot, Sword could punish that, rightly so imo.

This game was really about creativity at some point, it had a lot of unique weapons and similar. All the fun stuff gets removed, no riding on red canisters, no skill expression with sword. Only thing left in the game is some boring machin gun meta. This game is made more blend and less unique with every patch. The balancing is made for people who dont want to put in time to learn how to counter something. Remove sword at this point, no need to keep it in the game like this, buff/rework it or remove it. If you want to keep the damage nerf maybe buff the lunge by cooldown, animation duration or range.
As a sword main from nearly day one, its sad to see all the skill expression and tech fade away, but if its for the sake of balancing, PLEASE just remove phantom strike (even though its hardly an issue), fix the hitbox during super dashes instead of gutting the damage.
The ranked system works well, you just might have hit your skill-cap and are getting frustrated as a result. If youâre able to consistently positively influence your team, you will slowly climb to diamond. Iâve reached Diamond 3 times now on riot shield entirely solo queue - itâs all about consistency, youâll bounce up and down a bit but youâll slowly trend upwards if you are effective
or maybe limit to one target like every other melee in the game and revert dmg so it leaves everyone one shot like the model and revolver. The skill check comes in with being able to melee and finish a kill, not doing 420 dmg to an entire team with each dash.

The grapple hook keeps pulling u in a wall unless u cancel it but it would be better if u could stick to walls for a few seconds and u can aim and shoot but it's for a limited time to avoid camping,maybe even a wall jump from the wall u grappling to
The 93r time between burst is weird and not fun to use,make it so there isn't a gap between burst and u can slightly nerf damage since u r increasing fire rate but the damage fall out is longer so there is a balance since due to recoil u can spam it long/medium range.
Add fanning revolver for light with incendiary bullets but they r projectile but hit hard,u can use fanning action to quickly fire bullet.
Ks23 needs a headshot buff 1.2x,wall penetration and NO bullet deviation.

Yea during the animation it shows the ammo count in your Hud. Actually it shows it there even if you don't do the ammo check. Hope this helps :)

as a dagger player it pains me to see embark consistently miss the mark when it comes to balancing melee weapons
the sword nerf serves nothing to alleviate the frustrations that were caused by idiotic redditors complaining about sword: the lunge range, forgiveness, and desync
the amount of active frames on sword rmb was ridiculous, it was far too forgiving such that players could just throw themselves in the general direction of an enemy team and clip atleast 2 people every time without much thought or positioning
the way to fix this has been debated but in my eyes it would be to either flat out reduce the active frames towards the end of the animation, reduce the lunge distance, or make it such that the damage of the lunge decreases as you reach the end of the animation, meaning that if you did the lunge and hit someone right at the very very end of the active frames, it would do anywhere from 75-100 dmg compared to 140
instead of this embark just decides to change the damage output entirely and destroy the sword breakpoints for fighting classes, shafting yet another melee weapon, better yet the only melee weapon to even see the light of day in top ranked lobbies

What can I say? Once again a niche weapon has been nerfed for no apparent reason. Still no stun gun. When claw do 5dmg, grab you and stun you, like the stun gun but it's still here and even buff this season.
For the game
- Add "step" in the reload animation so when you climb on something during a reload, it's not completly reset.
- Increase the netcode/tickrate/servers. Getting kill at 3m far from a hammer/sword or behind a wall / door / cover is not ACCEPTABLE. Servers can't register your movements
- Perma ban cheaters
- Add a report option " AFK on purpose " in the report section in game please. I'm maining Light and it happens that player AFK just because they don't want Light in their team. You can let them on your game.
- Let us choose our sight weapons at the beginning of a game
- Let us go in practice with friends
- Delete low gravity event. It's not fun AT ALL and unfair for Light. Movement are cancel and they only got 150HP
- Random skin and charm list for weapons/gadgets
- We shouldn't lost point in ranked when a team mate leave the squad and didn't play during the round
- Let us invite friends or join them in group even if we are not the group leader
- Add the possibility to look at the profil/card of friends and recent players.
- Dash is trash with your netcode. Servers can't register a dash behind a cover and you will die anyway
- **Give us the possibility to customize rules in private match. Like "only M and Dual Blade", "only Light and SR84", "only marksman", "No heal, Light only and grenade only". You can imagine all you want and put it in private match for streamer and their community to make the game more fun **
- Let us use our VR for XP weapons or other things (not from me but very interresting idea !)

- You shouldn't be able to right clic sword + dash
- CB01-Repeater is just stupidly strong and OP. Nerf this weapons fast before all the new/come back players leaves your game again and for ever. EDIT : Nevermind, it's already happening
- **CL40 buff was too much. Need to nerf it again. **
- Buff Vanish Bomb and make it start regen instant. It will increase survability for the Light and it can be use for your teammates too !
- Nerf Turret range.
- The FAMAS nerf is useless in 5.8
- Nerf proximity sensor range
- Reduce the radius of the reflect of the Dual Blade or let us shoot in the feet or something else to let us counter DB when you got an AR
- Nerf Cerberus damage.
- Nerf the range of the KS shotgun. You can put 100 dmg at 20m.
- Nerf PIKE to 48 instead of 50 dmg. You know what you did in 5.8 with that.
- LH1 nerf was to strong in 6.0. Buff it to 45 dmg.
- Flamethrower and hook should NOT get you through walls or other.
- Nerf the hammer like you did for the sword to 100, because > Winch + Hammer + Melee = Free Kill. Same with chains.
- Revive and Objectives score should add additional points in ranked
- Rework defib: Reduce the cooldown reset to 5s and give 100HP instead of 50% of your HP. It will force Medium to revive more safety !
- Rework Sonar : Scan 5 times instead of 3 but if you don't move it can't scan you

Why do lights have invisibility as a specialization and a gadget!? It should force you to prioritize invisibility instead of having it as a quick get away crutch that it is. Change invisibility to a area of effect stun charge; you overcharge your hands and it releases a small area of effect stun, since they want lights to be disruptors or whatever they said their role was supposed to be. Just like mediums got recon sense taken away and they were eventually given a proximity sensor, it should be the same for the lights; itâs abusive and kills the flow of the game when thereâs a little rat light just sitting in a corner invisible

As I have now move on from Sword.... (not really tbh) I'm trying to play Dual Blades now and from what I've experienced so far, is that its not that bad but the little movement from it is VERY disadvantages so I propose INSTEAD of movement buff or something along those lines I would like to see a PERFECT parry mechanic put into it where is if you parry at the right time it can negate 90% more damage (only works against bullets) now if it negated 100% it would be too broken but in that sense I would like for it to be added and if thats too broken add a cooldown for it or less % negated. The blocking is just Lacking from my perspective since there is also a lack of movement for the melee weapon it needs something to even it out. A change I would like to have implement in it is also to if you perfect parry it, the bullets that damage the opponents do 1.5x more damage when PERFECT parried but thats just me idk.

The quest to do 1500 damage while standing on the platform in power shift is not working, it may be because of this being a slightly different type of power shift
If you don't have a permanent fix for Sword Lights, don't nuke them from orbit and leave it there like it's usable. That indicates to the player base that "it's usable now". No, the exploits are still there, and you gutted the weapon. It's not usable. Equip it and go try and fight a Heavy. If a change was so urgent, you should have just removed it from the game ala Stun Gun, and waited for a rework. If it's not urgent enough to temporarily remove it from the game, and you don't have a reasonable balance change for it: DON'T TOUCH IT.

I mean you've been living under a rock if you haven't seen how frustrated people in the community have been about the sword soooo... I agree with XP-54, it should probably be nerfed a little bit and in general light probably should get some nerfs overall, like a bigger character model or smth like it. I didn't personally have too much of an issue with sword but I am totally fine with the nerf seeing how many people weren't enjoying the game cause of it. Just because something can be countered "easily by top players" doesn't mean it should be in the game. In this case, it was especially ruining the game for newer players and lower ranked players that don't understand what's up and down. So fine, nerf the sword, it's not fun and if we want the game to grow, scaring away the new players is not the way to go about it.

Light's guns objectively have faster TTKs and at longer ranges to boot. Sword has always been an offmeta pick. Reducing its lunge damage by 25% is an extremely overtuned nerf and you know it. It's now completely useless trying to fight against healbeam.

While sword could have afforded a fix, neutering it's damage was crossing the line by a significant margin. Not only was a 25% damage nerf enough to kill the weapon entirely, but it did not address the issues it has at all.

These are the only issues that needed fixing. Instead of doing that you guys listened to the absolute bottom of the barrel in this community that would rather have this game turn into bootleg COD. Melee being viable in a shooter is something we rarely see, and now we'll probably never see it again based on your balancing method, which is "balance things based on what the community wants" rather than what the game needs, and the game did not need sword to be the worst weapon in the game. Counterplay for sword exists, its just that people are too stupid to utilize it or make their own form of counterplay.

It's clear time and time again that embark nerfs only affect one aspect (damage, for example). They can never nerf one side of a weapon or gadget and tweak another in return (reshaper cooldown says hello). If the sword's charge time was reduced in exchange for the lost damage, it would be fair.
