World tour point system needs a rework, getting 6 points for getting into round 2 is insane.
Realistically getting 3rd in round 1 should net you 3 points then second and first should be 5 points
Second round 3rd place should get 5, second and first should net you 10(these all stack with the finals round results) winning final should net you 30 points losing should net you 20
so all in all in round one you come 1st you get 5 points, in round 2 you come first again you get 15 and in the final if you win you get 45 points. ATM the point system just feels meh this is me spitballing btw if you've got better solutions i would love to here it.

Sword needs a dmg nerf to 110 and making it so it either cant be combines with dash or that it cant multi hit
Invis is next to impossible to see in the nighttime setting (not a balance suggestion more of a compliant)

Feels like winch didn't need the range buff it was already strong as is(reverting the range would be ideal)

Repeater either needs a full rework or a nerf
A nerf would probably drop its dmg to the point where pike is at so 50s or make the dmg 64 and call it a day
An ideal rework would be making it a hip fire machine by nuking its range and damage, buffing its hip fire accuracy whilst making its damage in the 40s - 50s
Cerberus is very unique it should have its fire damage be the brunt of its damage, every pellet should start fire damage but its overall pellet damage (that isn't from be fire) should be nerfed probably round to less than the model so 10 - 11 per pellet.
Famas might need a slight recoil adjustment to make it less easy (currently the best ar by a mile)
Additionally would love for clubs to be expanded upon, we have contracts for clubs i would love to see a leveling system giving players a unique cosmetic for reaching certain clan levels, club contracts aren't the only thing that should level the club up playing and winning with club mates should increase rank (not as much as the contracts but should still impact the level)
Might just be me but playing light without stun gun has been great as it frees up an extra slot and makes it so i can experiment with other gadgets without feeling like a big detriment to my team play (would love for it to either be not a guaranteed pick for high level lights kit or removed completely) i feel this way about defibs as well as they trivialize resing and fights most of the time plus them and movement are instant picks for mediums kits in high level.
If you have any better suggestion about any of the changes I brought up id love to hear them š
Nerf sword
Sword doesnāt need any nerfs or changes.
- Lunge doing 138+ is mandatory to be viable. <138 = Breakpoints are garbage.
- Quick Melee comboing is mandatory to be viable. No QM comboing = Breakpoints are garbage.
- Dash-lunge synergy is mandatory to be viable. No synergy = Bad even in closer ranges.
- Multihit is mandatory to be viable. No multihit = Unusable if more than 1 enemy exists.
- Lingering flicks are mandatory to be viable. No flicks = Can only go straight = Over-predictable = Useless, especially vs ranged hitscan.
Question/Feedback: Has there been a demand for a number counter in (percentile or time) during match player stats/scorebord (TAB and end game) to show for how long each player was part of a match mainly to see and show who arrived late at the party?

Greetings Devs! After hours playing and developing skill on throwing knife/arrow I discovered today that:
- If you use static crosshair the crosshair will appear on screen.
Which can be considered a glitch or a HUGE buff, since the dynamic crosshair do not appear (which is totally fair not to since is supposed to be a high risk/reward weapon).
Please, consider this appeal to fix it as soon as posible!
P.S. Keep in mind that I am main throwing knife and I don't think its fair to have aim on it (also on arrow)

I have never played more insufferable match than against tripple mediums spamming glitch mines with turrets. yes entire team covering half map with glitch effect
they are bugged where they dont need direct line of sight to apply glitch if youre close enough to corner they are behind
would be nice if there was half sec delay before you get glitched so its possible to at least demat wall and use reshaper to clear them

add a replay system in the game as in once a person dies you can see from the enemies perspective how you died.

CL40 should self inflict more damage if you shoot yourself with it
Reduction in spread of minigun/lower charge time
Sprinting allowed on Sword, Dagger, Riot shield, dual blades while right clicked
Nerf Flashbang, less in the stack or reduce duration.
Buff Tracking dart more ammo, increase duration
Nerf Glitch trap range
More Specializations and gadgets
More interesting rewards for leveling a weapon/gadget, not a recolor.
Reduce points when teammates leave a match, increase more if you win.
Increase time eligible to reconnect to a match when you get disconnected.
Add a profanity filter option in the settings.
Revert scoreboard changes, let us see deaths.
Increase dagger backstabs radius.

Light Sword+Dash is oppressive for a new player and annoying for midlevel play while being mediocre in high level play.
so what do we have currently?
its left click doing 74 (fine) right click damage being 140 with AOE (issue). sledge was changed to not multhit with its heavy attack for a reason do the same for this.
effective range of this increases by a lot when combining dash+ sword alt/right click, 6m 7m to something like 11m-12m although light becomes a human bullet. so he is vulnerable to mines and being shot while coming at a target.
this range increase makes so sword achieves slightly better range of effectiveness off the double barrel with the disadvantages of positioning and not able to interact with stuff if they dont get close (activating mines, damaging props and other stuff in the map), also being line of sight exposed when attacking to gunfire and gadgets
Assuming a light player uses dash +sword or dash + double barrel with both having vanish bomb...
So sword can do (140+40) (180) to oneshot light from 11-12m while double barrel two shots them in 10 m and needs to be at 4m-5m to oneshot them
So sword can (140+140) (280) to two shot medium with 11-12m while double barrel needs 6-7m to two shot them (light can also 140+40+74 for similar two shot)
So sword can (140+40)+(140+40) (360) to two shot a heavy with 11-12m while double barrel needs 4-5m to two shot them...
main differences important to point out double barrel has to reload sword does not, sword is forced to use dash to engage while double barrel can decide depending on situation. sword has AOE double barrel does not.
drop its alt fire damage to 120 and reduce AOE. about the AOE If the secondary would only hit in a straight line, that would be enough of a nerf for it. I'm OK with the range and all, but if your going for a Lunge, you shouldn't be able to draw massive circles to hit left and right of your corridor. Also lag and bad server tick rate benefit melee more then guns in general
I agree the lunge wiggle is outrageous at times

I think Light weapons need some serious reconsideration. They have more range options than the other two classes and are significantly easier to handle than similar range counterparts. It's frustrating playing as a medium or heavy and getting beamed down by SMG's in a fight because I'm having to manage significantly more recoil on a weapon that does less DPS. Close range fights are also tough because larger hipfire dispersion on med/heavy classes versus light weapons.

I feel like the skill based match making can be a bit strong. I may not be being at my general peak but at level 72 I feel that being paired with level 17s (around there) with no experience in the game can be a bit of a pain
i am once again asking for a sword nerf
I havenāt played this game since last season today is my first time playing this season and honestly a lot has changed. Some good some bad. The good includes new sights for certain weapons and not just progress for world tour and ranked but also for the other game modes light doesnāt seem to run the game as much as it used to which is nice ( i played light mostly last season but before that I mainly played medium) to have more of a variety of game type to play the bad however itās kind of keeping me from this game. Kyoto needs to be either removed reworked or only put for certain game modes. Itās still a trash map to convoluted with fucking trees and just doesnāt feel like a fun map to play and unfortunately, whenever I play this game, I only have a certain amount of hours. I could play a day or a week and lots of times when I play itās Kyoto so maybe there should be an option to select maps you donāt wanna play. Secondly the balance issue when it comes to the heal beam and a heavy is still frustrating. I think that the heel beam should only work when not in a gun fight or when youāre not fighting somebody once you start healing someone and you get shot it will stop healing. Those are my thoughts otherwise good changes.:)
Hey guys. I got an easy update for you guys that would help the player immersion/experience, especially for newer gamers. On the FOV Slider, there should be presets: 25 inch monitor (~90 fov), 27 inch monitor (~96), etc. Thats it for my idea. I got it when i was calibrating my pc and i never really messed with fov. I usually set it to the highest but now i'm realizing i should have to a more careful look at it. It affects my eyes with fish lenses. It feels a lot more fast paced than lower fovs. Having an fov too low also impacts the user experience. I can definitly feel like i'm farther away. Like my mouse has leverage or something. Yeah if you guys could have some presets for those newbies, i'm sure it will make their experience better.
If you activate a poison trap with a flamethrower there is bug, that you can't destroy the posion with the very same flamethrower, pleas fix it

this is actually true. balancing based on win rates has made this game unplayable now. its basically which team has better light player. countless pros said in season 2 that light meta will become a problem to this game. Now light class is totally broken and takes least skill to play. I would rather prefer to play against nukes than this light cringe
some QoL changes that most people wonāt care about but will go a long way in making positive first impressions for the future :
REORGANIZE THE SKIN PROGRESSION, thereās literally zero reason we should be moving backwards in tiers ever, either redo the skins past level 5 completely or reorganize it to make sense, level 10 shouldnāt be anything less than legendary
please tie the emote wheels to the outfit system, the system itself is a really nice start but having to manually place my emotes on every class is just as exhausting
character level badges look extremely lazy, im not saying we have to keep receiving skins forever but this silver badge after getting some fairly decent cosmetics just reeks of giving up to an outside perspective, maybe just donāt show this at all and replace the level on our player cards with the badge initially
let us preview poses for player cards with emotes in the emote/store sections, i have to back out and check my player card every time i select a new intro because thereās no indication of what its going to look like
Arn still needs buffed more i get its an ar but your literally selling at any range besides long. Weak compared to other ars. And the heavy ttk is horrendous. An ar shouldnāt have the same dmg as an smg anyway. Other ars have at least the option of survival up close if they hit shots. Arn on the other handš¤¦š¾āāļø

We're already in Season 6, and Season 7 is just around the corner. This would be a great time to reintroduce older Battle Passes to boost the grind and incentivize play. For each new season, an older Battle Pass could be added to the shop. For example:
Season 7 -> Season 1 Battle Pass
Season 8 -> Season 2 Battle Pass
Why do this? To keep the grind going. Even if someone finishes their current Battle Pass, they could still grind towards an older one, ensuring there's always something to do, whether it's daily challenges or contracts. Additionally, this would give new players a chance to obtain older skins that they missed out on.
Why is there no growth on this game?? Over one year and just under 20k players?

nerf medium damage output across the board and give it more powerful teamplay tools. the class has become insanely stale after receiving 1 new gadget since launch (0 net gadgets since launch) and having its utility repeatedly nerfed season after season.
If you wanna play a combat-focused medium playstyle, then there should be a specialization focused around it that also provides team value, something like a-wall from titanfall/baptiste's ult from overwatch.
feature idea: "Play again together" button at the end of a game that automatically places all who press it in the same lobby and queues for another match
Its very upsetting that the model and ks23 are deeply affected by jab cancel. I understand that you want these to weapons to play at a specific range but the lack of jab cancel ends up making them worthless at close range.
Ks23's best specialisation is winch as it enhances what makes the weapon good and makes up for the weapon's weakness. The other specialisations, while are fine picks, do not specifically enhance the weapon in any specific way. Ks23 cannot take advantage of the quick switch to goo gun as it needs to pump, can't take advantage of mesh either well because of pump, charge and slam isn't that amazing of a specialisation and ks23 excels more at pumping out damage in close range without it (not to mention that it can break walls on its own). Ks23 is very much enhanced by winch due to its free one shot with it. However, the removal of jab cancel has really hurt the feel, fun and effectiveness of the weapon at close range and with winch. You can be more disciplined and be more careful with jabs, but it is still just far weaker than other weapons without jab cancel at close range. Not to mention that all of heavy's other weapons can jab as they please and close the gap in health far faster than ks23.
Model is another weapon that's far more enhanced by jab and the lack of jab cancel hurts it deeply. Again, I understand that you would like the weapon to play at a certain range, however, because of the damage nerf to the model, it has made jab combos with the weapon more important than ever. It has made model most effective at jab range and borderline worthless at mid range despite the fire rate buff. Not to mention that it's a shotgun and long range is simply not an option for the model. At close range, it is also simply just outclassed by cerberus, which doesn't need jab cancel.
What's most frustrating is cerberus not being held down by the constraints of jab. It doesn't need jab at all to be effective but isn't affected if it uses jab in-between shots

im very bad at doing maths in my head right. and i find it hard to game AND make calculations in my head on how much money every team ends with. a small quality of life feature i suggest is adding a scale on the scoreboard. like vertical lines on the scoreboard. so u can visually see how much money u have, if that makes sense.

Regardless of the technicalities of sword use or counterplay, it is incredibly anti-fun to deal with and therefore needs either nerfs or a rework. Something that is annoying or otherwise OP is substantially less healthy for a game than an underpowered weapon - the former affects everyone, the latter only affects the user of said underpowered weapon

Why does the game insist upon needing to start within 30 seconds? Why is that a thing? Why can it not just wait for players to join? It means you're screwed when you don't play in a stack because there's entirely a chance you'll only be operating at 60% capacity.

Unlike most other games, FoV in The Finals is measured vertically. The default setting of 90deg is pretty balanced
Please add rank/loss/abandon forgiveness when fucking steam servers are down. I've never abandoned a game, but I'm on a long cooldown because I get kicked out and can't reconnect due to server side problems that are somethign that embark can easily detect.

I really hope we can get a way to launch the game without anticheat without connecting to the main servers. I really wanna see some custom servers and/or modding. I've been looking into reverse engineering the protocol but appareantly that's against TOS :/

to slow down the overall combat of the game. taking time to disengage and reposition and heal is one of the core gameplay strategies that sets the finals apart from other fps. i think it is to mimic the design of being chased in a battle royale where you need to hide and refill your shield or whatever

here's an idea for a minigun buff. Make succesive hits deal +2% damage per bullet. This would play into it's style very well imo.

- Fix spawns - the team you just wiped shouldnt be able to spawn closer to the cashout you have to go to, or spawning 200m from your own cashout cuz there's 2 other parties on it is diabolical

here's some Sword hard counters for Heavy: flamethrower, charge 'n' slam, goo gun, mines, goo grenades, SA1216, winch claw.
also for Medium: glitch trap, Cerberus, 2-or-3 shot by Pike/Revolver/Repear/CL-40, jump pad, zipline
also for Light: glitch grenade, counter-sword, stun gun (when re-added), simply dash away

Standardize iron sights and allow us to swap them around like the new repeater can. Especially on weapons like the revolver and pike where irons are a legitimate tactical option.
Also make the revolver more accurate while sliding. I think it would be nice.

Let us add friends on Steam directly from the game. In the current system, I can't chat with anyone who is not in my party, and the chances of catching up in a lobby at the same time are incredibly low.

When I launched the game from Xbox using the same account I have on Steam, my platform friend list was empty. Why? If my Steam friend list was tracked, it would be great to have it available even when logging in from a different platform.
Social features might be even more important than new content. I would play more if I could meet people from my previous sessions, but this almost never happens unless we add each other on Discord.
I wish i could just DM people in Steam if they want to play together

Cerberus - Too dominant in close range, shuts down most builds
Glitch Traps - Too oppressive to melee builds and lights
Proximity Sensors - Too easy to abuse, 11.5m x 2 effective range (shuts down flank, cloak, and stealth playstyles)
Thermal Vision - Just hard counters cloak with no skill or effort needed, very oppressive and is a crutch in ranked settings
Cloaking Device - Too easy to see and hear, very difficult to be stealthy with, slower movement should also make you much harder to see and hear so you have more ways to outplay with stealth, maybe add a slight decloak delay to emphasis it more as a stealth/repositioning spec
Sword - Jarring and unfun to fight, not OP but needs better readability instead of necessitating the use of hard-counters to deal with it (which I hate) rather than using skill to outplay it.
Minigun - Needs more DPS, even FCAR/AKM give it a hard time when already spun-up in close range in a 1v1 situation
Breach Charge - Needs a much faster arm time, takes ages to arm
Frag Grenade - Needs a grenade indicator, so many times I've died instantly in crossfire to random grenades
Glitch Grenade - Only used to hard-counter mesh shield (I hate this balance design)
Smoke Grenade - Excessive 50 second cooldown for 1 smoke and also has inconsistent concealment
Dagger - Takes too long to charge backstabs (800ms) and you move slower than a heavy when trying to backstab
Dual Blades - The spread when deflecting is so bad you can barely hit anything anymore, also melee is terrible
Riot Shield - No way to consistently protect yourself from the front, and is countered by every melee weapon in the game
Defib - Defib sickness made defibs awful, now I loathe getting defib'd during combat, defib sickness should only apply to defibs, nothing else
Flashbang - Doesn't even deafen enemies when 1m away from them, enemies need to look at the flash to be deafened by it, why?
Data Reshaper - Give it to light, being able to turn off mines, sensors, turrets, lockbolts in a quick moment would be awesome

If you are stealing the cashout, the cashout should not end mid steal. You either die getting the steal or get the steal. This would make the game more fun because if you are defending the cashout all you have to do is stall till you know there's not enough time left and you win. Pretty dumb IMO.
i find it funny that dual blades can block pretty much ANYTHING (including charge n slam), but riot shield only bullets lol

Only notice when we got screwed out of a final round because we got third partied twice then got kicked to 4th place, then got demoted, so even though we won a round, we still got demoted. Winning a round but still losing RP or getting demoted makes people not want to play ranked. š

Dagger Balance Suggestions:
1. Make it so that the character slows down only when the dagger is fully charged for an attack, but keeps normal speed while charging.
2. Allow charging the attack at least while climbing, or even better, make it so climbing doesnāt cancel the charge.
3. Increase the backstab angle from 150° to at least 160°.
It depends on how high your RS is compared to the rest of the tournament. If you have the most amount of RS you will probably only gain in 3rd and up, but if you have least amount of RS then youāll maybe gain in 4th-5th place
M11 is still better and XP buff was necessary and she still doesn't need skill like the m11 at short to medium range

@fickle linden itās just too much to deal with playing with weapons that maybe good on paper but not fun to use like 93r and the new light AR.
Ranked players may take advantage of high damage weapons but we play for fun not to sweat and win.
Make 93r have more fire rate like reducing the time between bursts,make it shoot 5 bullets and make them incendiary and name the gun spitfire which makes more sense.
The new light AR needs reduced recoil.
The ks23 needs slightly higher projectile speed as even in mid range u have to lead your shots and it looks like it should hit but doesnāt and bullet deviation makes it worse.
It needs wall penetration and headshot 1.2x to make it truly unique and stand out.
Light breach charge needs to stack damage atleast close to what it was in season1

If a person has front, left, right, and back sides, a backstab should occur in the back 90 degs only. So 150 is already wayyy too forgiving.
You just wanna go on backstabbing people left and right? do you think it makes it soooo much fun for them?
PLUS, a backstab is strong just because it is a reward for being able to safely sneak past the opponent. Being able to backstab a n opponent just by dashing beside them, completely destroys the risk-reward system.

Noone I've seen use AKM among the streamers with the most viewers, or YT videos in general. It's mostly Famas and after that Fcar when it comes to medium AR's.

Can we have the physical act of vaulting be optional as a second keybind? Sort of how Battlebit Remastered does it.
In battlebit, the vault is by default bounded to the same button as jump but it is configurable to allow rebinding it.
This would allow players to have less movement jank (less vaulting when not intended) and would not disrupt players who have gotten used to how it is right now (with the default behavior/keybind being retained as default).
This is an online game in the big 25 and we still cannot see our ping/latency to the server.

cloak is kinda trash rn. its terrible for initiating fights and running away bc the resource burns faster based on movement and since its much easier to see. its ok for rotating and repositioning (as long as you aren't too close to the enemy since its easier to spot). idek what kind of buff it needs to be good again. it definitely needs some sort of rework that gives it more of a defined function besides "you are semi-transparent now"

the minigun needs a significant buff, it is so inconsistent and it doesnt really fit any range at all. make it so the bloom gets better the longer you fire it, which would make it usable at some range, but it is one of the worst weapons for the heavy right now following the spear, i think it falls in the middle of usage because it is new so everyone wants to try it, but it is really bad in its current state, worse than the arn for the light
Smoke grenades shouldn't make enemy players invisible at point blank range. As of now you can stand on top of an enemy stealing your cashout without seeing that player.
Goo honestly does not need to be that durable.
The XP54 is a wee bit too strong. I think the +1 damage should have at least come with a revert of the mag size increase it got a while back. Personally, I found the gun to be pretty effective already at 16 damage. In its current state, it keeps outshining the ARN.

@misty ice @wheat fractal I think we should really consider if want a slight damage nerf for mini gun and buff the time it takes for it to start firing and make spread more narrow and have 320 ammo in terms of making it a more consistent weapon.

This damages deployables, objects, gadgets and structures.
Walls aren't able to be destroyed by the deteriorator, but it weakens them enough to be destroyed easier. (with 1 grenade or only 1 KS-23 shot for example)
Deployables, objects or gadgets can be destroyed by it.
It can also deteriorate friendly deployables or gadgets. (This also includes the deteriorator itself. Giving it only a specific time it can be active)
Enemies can destroy the deteriorator to stop destruction of their gadgets.
Delete failed data It just makes people feel bad
a new spec for light could be a decoy ability that creates a running illusion of you that can still set off mines, sensors, etc.

goo gun needs an alt fire - IDEAS: Shoots two goo balls stacked, sucks up goo, sucks in gas or smoke, can lob goo grenades on a cooldown. Something to make it more viable to defend yourself since it does not pull enemies, pop up a shield, or allow you to run. I do like the ideas i came up with

Really wish yall would stop neglecting certain weapons, gadgets, and sponsors as far as skins go i.e Bow and Throwing knives, vanish bomb, CNS, etc. Yall keep adding new skins for the same weapons every week. I want to spend my money and support but I dont want to spend it on skins for weapons i dont use and dont want to be forced to just to use a skin and waiting a whole season hoping to actually get a skin only to get none is crazy.
We need an Hacker specialization for the medium able to turn enemy turrets and mines against them. The spear alt fire need to be charge throwable, it has even a javelin skin.
Hopefully at some point we can change our numbers

Lights aren't necessarily broken but they are so annoying they make me not want to play most days. They turn the game into an absolute sweat fest and no one wants to be sweating instead of chilling having a good time. The game being so sweaty is one of the biggest reasons it will stay where its at popularity wise. No one gets off work and thinks "Gee I wanna sweat my ass off playing some Finals today."

as someone who plays all 3 classes, they are all relatively balanced. definitly would like to see some changes reverted, like heavy shield change making it terrible to flick on and off, and cut back on the cloak getting its resource depleted by 33% or whatever immediatly when you turn it on but overall, its pretty decent.
In The Finals, all Weapons, Gadgets, and Skills have usage limits ā except a few inexplicably infinite ones. This is a major issue, and the community has complained since day one. Everything should have a limit or a mechanic to prevent abuse. Examples:

Guardian Turret: Infinite ammo make this absurdly unbalanced. It should have limited ammo and self-destruct when depleted. This would also reduce cooldown, making it usable more often. Lasting and firing forever ā even after death ā makes no sense.

Riot Shield: No weapon should have infinite defense while also dealing huge damage. Since itās defensive, if it grants that much protection, its damage must be lowered, or a mechanic should prevent infinite blocking ā like a stamina bar, similar to Heavyās Mesh Shield, where taking too much damage depletes stamina, forcing the player to lower the shield until it recharges.

Glitch Trap: One of the most OP Gadgets since its rework. Infinite use and persistence after death are unjustified. It should have a 20s time pool; each second affecting a player drains a second from the pool. If depleted, it self-destructs. The more players affected, the faster it vanishes. And bring back thee 2 charges not just 1.

Proximity Sensor: Same as Glitch Trap ā should have a time pool and self-destruct when it expires.

Jump Pad & Zipline: Should be recoverable remotely, like Guardian Turret.
Of course, if a team gets fully wiped, all deployables must vanish INSTANTLY. Itās unfair that they keep killing after defeat. Winning a fight only to lose to an active turret is beyond frustrating. This happens constantly, ruining games, even finals matches. No rational player defends this. If Embark wants players to quit, theyāre succeeding.

good grief, you seriously think riot shield needs nerfing? It's not got "infinite defence" since it can't defend from a lot and can be shot around. But why is it unfair that deployables don't vanish? If you lose to those somehow after wiping the team, that's just quite a severe skill issue or indeed a fight that was just a draw. Turrets have so many counters that this acting as an additional nerf to them also seems super unwarranted.
Iām new to the game and just started playing ranked matches. I got placed in Silver, while my teammates are in Gold. However, we keep getting matched against Ruby players in challenging tournaments, which means we get completely destroyed every game.
With only 15,000 active players, splitting them into different fun modes just makes matchmaking for ranked worse and more likely unplayable for anyone trying to climb the ladder and trying to learn the game. This completely ruins ranked play for anyone who wants to compete. Honestly, Iām about to quit this game because this situation is unbearable for me and my friends.
I think a great change would be to have only 5 cashout stations with 6 objectives instead of 6/6 to make world tour feel much more rewarding. Too many times I have seen the top two teams get booted after each getting 2 cashouts because this game insists on making the final vaults worth up to 26,000. I get the desire to give teams an opportunity to make a comeback, but it is a silly reality that the two teams with 4/6 cashouts could both still get knocked out. Having only 5 cashout stations would ensure one of the teams with 2 cashouts would make the next round and would still give a team the opportunity to double stack the final cashout for a comeback. Just an idea.

And it can't respond nicely when someone is moving really fast around you? And it cant protect you against any grenades, nor flamethrower, not meelee?

You realize the riot shield is an efffing meelee weapon right? With no proper and easily usable movement techniques at hand? Blocking bullets makes you slower. It also makes you turn around slowly. Without the shield the damage and range are low enough to be a suicide weapon. Plus frag nade, pyro nade, gas nade, winch, rpg on the ground, evas and meelees are hard counters so yeah.

Just a small rant. but the person that came up with to point score system for Quick Play, really needs to be forced to go on the grind him/her self, with only losses as the only way to progress. 4 point's for a loss ok i can kinda get that, but only give us 8 for winning?! i have been on the grind for G1 for a whole week now with 6-10 hours of gameplay pr. day and i only just hit G4.
Don't make QuickPlay in to a hard grind, it's supposed to be fun to play all those game modes. Keep the hard grind in WT and Ranked.

Turret is the weakest M specialization by a huge margin, doesnāt even come close to heals or demat.
Riot is also one of the weakest weapons on M and if anything needs buff - the tradeoff to the shield having infinite health is that it is tiny and never covers your entire hitbox, youāre always exposed - hence it only mitigates damage, it does not outright prevent damage like mesh shield does. Overall bad takes

so all in all in round one you come 1st you get 5 points, in round 2 you come first again you get 15 and in the final if you win you get 45 points. ATM the point system just feels meh this is me spitballing btw if you've got better solutions i would love to here it.

Cerberus is very unique it should have its fire damage be the brunt of its damage, every pellet should start fire damage but its overall pellet damage (that isn't from be fire) should be nerfed probably round to less than the model so 10 - 11 per pellet.
Famas might need a slight recoil adjustment to make it less easy (currently the best ar by a mile)
Additionally would love for clubs to be expanded upon, we have contracts for clubs i would love to see a leveling system giving players a unique cosmetic for reaching certain clan levels, club contracts aren't the only thing that should level the club up playing and winning with club mates should increase rank (not as much as the contracts but should still impact the level)
Might just be me but playing light without stun gun has been great as it frees up an extra slot and makes it so i can experiment with other gadgets without feeling like a big detriment to my team play (would love for it to either be not a guaranteed pick for high level lights kit or removed completely) i feel this way about defibs as well as they trivialize resing and fights most of the time plus them and movement are instant picks for mediums kits in high level.

Top issues for the finals:
- Server tickrate/desync. Dying behind walls feels bad, and makes hit and run guns not as viable in a game that has multiple of them.
- Matchmaking. Lack of or very minimal matchmaking in qp, wt, and other non-ranked events makes the games feel swingy and unbalanced. I am gold, stop putting me against rubies/emeralds in every game mode.
- TTK, keeps getting faster and faster every season. Doesn't make sense in a game designed around the cashout mode.

For what? Getting rid of Cashout wasn't even on the table. It's not going anywhere and you can play it anytime. It was either keep Bank It or don't, they figured adding tdm would basically be the same which it really isn't. I would rather have a whole map to play on with an objective to follow than participate in a 15min meat grinder. I don't wanna play a whole tourney all the time for "cashout" or quickcash which is worse cashout. Bank It was faster paced and had quicker matches, more players per match and community behind it, but it was swept to back of the quickplay menus in s5 with no challenges or incentives to play it. day 8 of petitioning for dagger revert. no extra damage is needed. it could have less damage on its left clicks and I and others I think would be just fine if you were more mobile using it and we reverted the angle nerf. angle nerf introduced what I assume is an unintended backstab consistency problem where they should be hitting but they now don't. Also please revert nerf to backstab distance. The nerfs were pointless and done with malice in my humble opinion
I do find #3 quite interesting. For the last five seasons the common complaint was quite the opposite. I think people are very quick to see a couple of buffs or nerfs and just guess that that's the general trend or developer intention

i saw someone saying the new cb rifle should be reworked and i agree. i really like the apex legends approach to repeaters in the fact that ADS is slow, accurate, and packs a punch, while the hipfire is fast and dumps out the whole mag quickly, i would love that, since now it feels just like the revolver, but ever so slightly different

Because itās CASUAL. SBMM is antithetical to a good casual experience, hence virtually every other shooter is a non stop sweat fest no matter which game type you pick. Even worse is engagement based matchmaking like what apex does.
Matchmaking belongs in ranked game types only. Period.
Nobody should have to deal with a hidden skill rating that makes it such that they have to perform at the top of their game every single match in order to see any form of success. I love that in the Finals I can chill out with power shift or WT if Iām just having fun with friends who arenāt good enough to compete in Diamond ranked (and I also love the ranked experience, itās just different from casual modes).
If you add SBMM to the other modes then everything effectively becomes ranked in practice. If the random matchmaking pairs you with top 500 chads then chalk that match up as a loss and try to learn from those opponents

Sbmm matches you with people at your skill level, optimally meaning it will always be a fair fight and eliminating the complaints about getting matched with sweats, however people that complain about having to try seem to want to curb stomp noobs a lot, which obviously isn't fun
@gleaming summit having win points doesn't make it a ranked mode, it's not competitive because you don't lose the points, and the points you gain you still gain on most losses, and every loss in quick play
let us put teams of 5-6 in the game for private matches using the final round gamemode

1. Make it so that the character slows down only when the dagger is fully charged for an attack, but keeps normal speed while charging.

something ive noticed is the lack of new players and diversity and what i mean by that is the weapons and gadgets that are being used ever since S1 I and many other players have used the same weapons and gadgets the entire games lifespan.
I love getting into 1v1s without any other teammates around, i think the gunplay and gadgets really compliment it and the classes are balanced enough that its pretty fair. I think a game mode that's just 1v1s, in maybe a tournament style or best of 3 could be really cool, even if it just comes as an event.
Medium is like the only class I see that have like the same gadgets most of the time.

- Grenades - Add player outline to grenades for visibility
- Goo nade - make equip time slightly longer to make it less strong reactively
- Thermal vision - rework it - its too buggy, often just doesn't work making enemies even harder to see.

- APS - increase radius 3m > 6m, decrease hp loss per projectile 31.25% > 16.6%

- Flashbang - Duration 4.5s > 2.0s
Gameplay
- Make buildings have more structural integrity so they are less likely to just fall apart.
- Remove open vault bonus
- Make cash-out give its money over multiple instances over time.
- Option to disable ping assist, it more often gets in the way than being helpful
- Reduce controller aim assist "stickiness"
- Spawn select on team wipe
- Change pink or purple team color to red or green for better clarity
- Add player loadouts visuals on scoreboard, at minimum show weapon and specialization
- Lower suspended structures on Monaco/Bernal, making sure jump pads can actually reach them
- Better Tick rate servers, it often feels like 10 tick servers or even less.
Audio
- Make a different sound for when your team gets a team wipe other than the default one
- Make sure team wipe sound actually plays consistently
it would be rad if players had other option of movement other than sliding and running,
i was thinking about a crawling option and a dolphin dive into the ground one, im gonna now list how the mechanics would implement into the current state of the game.
1.CRAWLING
Heavy: lets him squeeze through vents, going into the stance takes a long time, so does getting out of the position. enemies or allies standing on his back will give him a slowing effect if Medium, or do nothing if Light.
Medium: middle in the way of velocity to enter a crawling position, same for exiting it. Standing on the crawling player will slow him down, not as much as the Heavy class though.
Light: fast when assuming or leaving crawling position, a Medium standing or his back will heavily slow him down, moreover, Heavy jumping on him will deal an high amount of damage.
2.DOLPHIN DIVE
Heavy: he gains a lot of momentum when diving onto the ground while running, does a slight splash damage in a the radius of his impact, he can gain momentum by jumping for an higher structure and do a little more damage and gain the ability to knock enemies away for a short distance when hitting the ground near them.
Medium: mundane, can dive normally at a normal speed
Light: quick at both at diving and getting back on his feet.
all the characters loose all of their movement momentum when diving and being on the ground after a dive will set you in a crawling stance.
CRAWLING WHILE SHOOTING WILL BE EXTREMELY SLOW, NO DROPSHOTTING WITHOUT REPRECUSSIONS
HOW TO CRAWL
configurable keybind, holding B or O on controller while still.
HOW TO DIVE
configurable keybind, double tapping B or O twice while running
off topic note give the ARN-220 gun the ability to get it's mags fully swapped or quickly reloaded on the player's liking,
pressing the reload button once for a quick reload, and tapping it twice if you desire a full on mag change
same for the SA1216, let it swap tubes without having to finish the whole mag.

Mb i meant inconsistent. I had 180 fps and now no matter what quality i put it on (low, medium or high) fps does not go beyond 100 and there are constant freezes and sudden fps drops that i cannot control.
Already ruled out my system as my friend is experiencing this.

Adding KBM to console won't solve all issues since most console players won't get a keyboard and mouse anyway and many want to play on controller like normal.
I'm not against them adding it tho, but even if adding it, Embark needs to do more for controller stick players to increase chances of keeping this playerbase around since basically no full auto weapon in this game feels good on stick past 10-15m due to the dodgy recoils.
And add zoom snap to all weapons. As I wrote yesterday Repeater and R.357 don't have it, which is weird since even if they have it, KBM is better. So I don't understand the double punishment there.
(Zoom snapping isn't strong in this game in case some PC player reads this and gets worried. You need to aim real close and it isn't like it snaps to the center of the opponent either)
I want this game to thrive and since I play on console my feedback is based on ways to increase the chances of console players staying.
itās just too much to deal with playing with weapons that maybe good on paper but not fun to use like 93r and the new light AR.
Ranked players may take advantage of high damage weapons but we play for fun not to sweat and win.
Make 93r have more fire rate like reducing the time between bursts,make it shoot 5 bullets and make them incendiary and name the gun spitfire which makes more sense.
The new light AR needs reduced recoil.
The ks23 needs slightly higher projectile speed as even in mid range u have to lead your shots and it looks like it should hit but doesnāt and bullet deviation makes it worse.
It needs wall penetration and headshot 1.2x to make it truly unique and stand out.
Light breach charge needs to stack damage atleast close to what it was in season1
please add an amethyst gem skin either as:
- weapon mastery [have a card in the weapon's overview page that says: "x" amount of kills, damage, tournament wins, etc.] once you achieve all the challenges you unlock the skin for that gun. Make this take time as it is the mastery amethyst, same as our badges. (It would be nice if it can track from S1 but I understand if it was a fresh start)
or
- The end of all the weapon levels [ex: lvl 15 skin is the gem skin, players will push for that grinding out the weapon to show their mastery] (I know embark doesn't have all guns gemmed yet but at some point) As and end level skin make it cost 1 mil xp or have it require "x" amount of tourney wins (like how emerald s3 was).
This allows players to "target" what they want instead of the ONLY waiting for random gemmed skins every season. I understand keeping emerald and diamond for seasonal fomo, but amethyst would be adding to the collection. Also you would be earning it at the same time! Players would understand the mastery behind the amethyst gem skin since our badge top mastery level is amethyst. Either way embark wants to add it, I just say this now as a solo player if the gem skins don't interest me I don't grind for the season.
Also I don't know if embark cares but I would be nice if they added S1-S3 badges and backgrounds for veterans players. They can even go all they back to the closed betas if they want. It's small nitpick but it would be nice

edit my opinion on it:the minigun is a weapon that rewards camping and playing it very slowly nearly to a crawl which is against the spirit of the game fast action paste
in my opinion 1.5 seconds to fully rev up is way too long instead they should half it to 0.75
and lower the damage range because it was never supposed to be good at range
they should make it into a weapon u charge head first with and be an actual threat not a sitting duck for nearly two seconds

Would love to see some more graphical and ui customization options. Specifically being able to reduce the opacity or size of ui elements like objective markers, teammate revive icons and healthbars, interact icons, stunned/detected notifications, etc etc etc. I have very often been completely unable to see an entrance to a room or the platform in powershift or the cashout because it is completely covered in full opacity full size icons. This is probably the biggest annoyance in the game for me right now, it's especially obnoxious at mid-long range which is why I've shied away from using weapons like the FAMAS or .50 AKIMBOs in their ideal range, and have stopped using weapons like the PIKE or SR-84 entirely.

Why it makes sense:
Embark's idea for this weapon was for it to be a weapon that benefits from precise aim, and going for headshots (source, season 3 patch notes dev note)
Following this thought process, let me give an example:
With these proposed adjustments, if you fire 2 bursts, if only even 1 of those bullets hit the head, you will be able to 2 burst a light (TTK of 0,44)
With this change, body TTK times are also way more reasonable and in-line/ in general very slightly higher/lower with similar weapons like the xp-54
The good part of this weapon is you do alot of damage when actually bursting + the fast reloads, and when combined with the fact that burst weapons are inherently more difficult to use than automatic ones, I find this proposal very compelling.
What it solves:
- very oppressive body TTK towards light.
- lacklustre performance against mediums and when hitting body and headshots
- lacklustre performance against heavies when hitting body shots, but equalizes this by very slightly increasing TTK time with headshots (0,91 > 0,96)
- brings out the headshot aspect that embark originally proposed for this weapon
These would be very simple changes to make, and it would be able to target low, medium, and high elo player groups, which would finally bring this weapon into the meta, becoming an actual competitive alternative to the M11, XP-54, LH1, 3 very competitive weapons.

Two banks that rotate every 45 seconds. Vaults spawn every minute. Kills drop coins. No team wipes and short respawns. If you carried a lot cash on you become visible from a long distance and have a constant trail behind you. I can tell you didn't play it more than an hour. Nothings wrong with quick cash, but nothing was wrong with bank it either except for problems that already exist in The Finals and neglect from Embark. Is it too much to expect that players wonāt clip through the minuscule gap between the back edge of the elevator and the building itself? When you're playing Team Deathmatch, and there is a leaver, is it supposed to backfill? The TDM games I've been in today, there have been leavers without any backfill. I played 2/3 rounds of a match where it was 2v5 because of leavers.

Don't nerf sword, these people simply cannot aim. You ain't fixing that issue with a sword nerf. They won't admit that they can't dash backwards, while simultaneously shooting forwards. Or they outright refuse to run glitch mine (even as a backup) while only ever playing the medium class. Why not just remove all the weapons that make the game unique and just have another bland FPS? I'm sure everybody loves those.
Can grenade launcher be nerfed, It's very annoying to fight against, or at least don't make the weapon seem as rewarding for each kill, like I understand akm is a meta gun, but grenade launchers you just need to aim in their General area and then you get severely punished by the heavy or medium for running it, the worst part is only medium is the only class that can counter grenade launcher no other class can. I missed it back then when grenade launcher wasn't as frequently used but now every single game I go to has one.
Ps: for each kill the grenade launcher should only be like 200 for kill, because the gun is way too destructive, easy to use weapon and hard to counter unless you're playing as medium with the gadget to stop it.
Iām saying this as a predominantly world tour/ranked player. The sniper rifle has been feeling worse to use as the games been updated. Started playing during season 2 and sniping felt genuinely so much better than it has in a lot of recent games. A lot of that may have come from the fact that it was full hit scan at the time which I will begrudgingly admit was a little bit oppressive. The nerf making hit scan only active within 40m or something was a completely fair nerf. However, it introduced a decent amount of inconsistency when trying to use it at ranges that are bordering the hit scan range. Now that thereās another medium to long range weapon in the game it makes using the sniper almost worthless because the other weapons can delete you before you even get enough shots off to take down a medium. Using it close quarters feels worse than it used to as well ever since they made the change to animation cancelling with melees. If you melee after a shot there a very harsh transition between the melee and the start of the rechamber animation. Melee weapons are still able to do this without being punished. The sniper was never an automatic win in a point blank 1v1 in the first place. These things combined make it so the sniper doesnāt really have a useful place in matches outside of being a nuisance at very long ranges or camping a cash out for the immediate steal shutdown potential. Not sure how to go about making it feel better to use since it already is a niche weapon to begin with. In most cases youāre better off with any other weapon since most maps put the cash out in close quarters areas a majority of the time. Even at range where it shines best itās not as usable because you now are able to be two shot by the lever action or the akimbos put you down before you could ever gun down a heavy without a headshot. Still my favorite weapon but less desirable now that med and heavy have weapons that do its primary job better, in addition to being team based classes.

So a few things:
Nerf cerb, for the love of god it should not one shot lights.
Previous FAMAS nerf did nothing and the new "QoL" adjustments just made every medium play it again. It doesnt need a BIG change, just enough to make it more difficult to use. Its just too accurate to hit 3 shots per trigger pull 80% of the time.
Demat needs tweaking. Its overused and abused as highly offensive and not just cashout defensive. I've said it before, you can't expect lights to duck and cover when the cover can instantly vanish. And dematting stairs are the WORST, insta death because you dont expect it. Give a VERY slight delay where the wall goes blue then dematted, only 0.4 seconds or something. That or make it take longer to pull weapon out after dematting.
Cheaters are pretty rife through servers, I see one or two at least every 3 games.
Lockbolt is still oppressive, way too much health to be so effective. Diminish effectiveness or make it easier to destroy.
And lastly, this ones a little odd, you REALLY NEED to increase spread or recoil while flying through the air. Now that cerb is meta mediums have picked up this wonderful habit of launching themselves at your face. Obviously once theyre on the ground its my problem, but by the time I even notice them they'll have taken more than half my health (light) from the air. Its not just the cerb, most every gun is used. I know its a video game but come on, no one should be able to aim in the slightest while catapulting through the air. Also to those who may bitch about this, a change like that would also hurt lights FYI. To be clear I dont mean short falls like between floors, or even off buildings, but falling from jump pad height does not equal good aim

If the explosion radius was made taller from the point of impact but not wider it would both make it more competitive viable, and also punish the user for firing it at their feet. It'd be a win-win.

In case someone who doesnāt know the game Warframe, itās a free-to-play game and their developers every two months they are do a devstream, every Thursday they stream and play their game and communicate with the viewers, and every Tuesday (if I remember right) they do small streams, the devshorts, where they answer to questions and feedbacks.

How come we don't get new people to fill in empty slots after Round 1 in TDM? People are either always rage quitting or crashing somehow and it's so annoying because most of the time, we're at a disadvantage as a result (not always but most of the time).
And I feel like that one Kyoto map is terrible for TDM, why does one team get to spawn at a significantly higher spot while the other spawns down below? It's an instant advantage for the upper team to snipe and set up strong defenses that are difficult to get past. You either end up dying to a turret, mine, or sniper. Heck, even I did that. It's so poorly designed as a TDM area, I don't even like playing on it when my team is winning.
Lastly, could you disable defib for TDM? It always puts everyone at an instant disadvantage, especially when you're defibbed in front of the enemies. š
Love THE FINALS btw, but there is def. room for improvement regarding TDM!

Thing is that you shouldn't have to run specific things just to counter a weapon, and in this case Sword+Dash.
Isn't good for a game to force people to use certain things, and feels like a textbook case of the term "unbalanced". Good balance means you can run whatever and have near equal opportunity to win an engagement.

1. Make it so that the character slows down only when the dagger is fully charged for an attack, but keeps normal speed while charging.

Embark your game is full of bugs. From the lobby UI bugging out and showing the world tour button as quick cash when playing with friends. Ive gotten that bug where u cant shoot no matter if ur pressing left-click twice in a row. Itās all so infuriating as these bugs have been here for a pretty long time. Please prioritize these problems first
I miss dagger auto fire on the secondary. Wish there was a way to make it hold charge if I hold, and charge + release asap if I tap it. You can already cancel the charge with primary fire so I don't see there being any issue with > 100% charge not automatically cancelling. That or have a very very obvious charge complete visual(for the player using it). It feels very bad and usually is a throw move if you accidentally let go of the button a tiny bit early and I feel like the auto fire stays more in line with the players intended motive(backstabbing).

Team-colored Vision - Why does Thermal Vision work more effectively when you turn your team colors off? Having this switched means that enemies will now be highlighted in a bright red color instead of the usual bright white. It's very odd how this hasn't been implemented based on the colors of your opponent's teams especially after you reintroduce gadgets that require team color coding (Gravity Vortex and Lockbolt Launcher)
Please fix the animation delay on the cb01 repeater: when reloading the new medium repeater, there is a slight delay between the end of the animation and the timing for taking a shot. It makes the weapon feel janky and unforgiving when what you see doesnāt align with when you can shoot. I swear Iām not crazy Iāve died to this bug a bunch of times please either extend the animation or lower the time it takes to shoot so they are in sync

inair inaccuracy would just make the game feel inconsistent and horrible. this game is its own thing. and jumppads are a big part of this game and its strategies. giving inair inaccuracy to guns would make triple rifle teams camping a roof even more advantage. padding on height gives counterplay thats not only telegraphed, but also in itself counterplayable. ur also wrong about the cerb and saying mediums got into the habit of padding on u, this was already happening with old model as well. and before that HHM meta also already used pad + double RPG.
yes u can get third partied when u dont see a team coming and they pad on u, but overall in isolated 3v3 settings u can definitely see it coming more times than not. and if u get caught then u probably shouldve positioned better, or anticipated the pad and when u see them running towards u run away so that when they pad they can atleast not get an easy pick. that is usually what i do, when i see a team running up, and i either see people missing, or see them straight lining closer to building i start moving to a spot where; IF they pad, i can get to safety quickly and find a new angle to shoot from

As replay system is not possible because of the limitation there are i would love to see three things to be thought about:
- Is it possible to somehow implement a system like steam with game recording on client end? If there is tempering with the recording it would make it a lot more suspicious.
- Idea: Show detailed statistics on death summary
Stats to show: Per actor - Total Damage, Damage in Headshots, % of shots hit on head
Pros: You can make out cheaters a lot easier because of unreasonable high percentages that have gone to the head (>80% for example)
Cons: More data, Communication interfaces get a bit more load and more extra attributes
Idea: Track accuracy, headshot quota, "wasted" shots for a player in general and make it visible
Stats to show: Aim accuracy total ( reset it every season ), how much % per hit is a headshot
Pros: Possible Badges/Achievements, Facts that can be hold high for Tournaments like for example "Team A has a general accuracy of 87% with "PlayerX of Team A" raising the bar to an all time high of 92%"

the logic here is that stun gun was a gadget whereas winch claw is a specialization. any light can run stun gun and it'll always be super strong and oppressive. heavies have to commit to winch and are thus lacking utility in other areas.
in other words the balance here is the opportunity cost of running winch, and thus not any other spec. whereas with light you still have the spec you want and 2 other equally strong gadgets

CL 40 still isn't very viable in anything but quick cash and many other casual gamemodes
I think it needs two slight buffs:
- Make reload faster - each single ammo should take less time to put in
- Make the outer ring of damage (minimum damage) slightly higher
I am a level 8 (nearly 9) CL 40 user who has played with the weapon since closed alpha so I know the gun well - here are my observations:
- CL 40 is mostly only viable at countering lights (at close to mid range)
- The equivalent to "burst damage" for the cl 40 is shooting a mine (I always go gas mine) when a player is in its range - I would never play CL 40 without gas mines
- CL 40 feels almost useless against heavy because you now have to be a bit lucky on hitting every shot as high dmg as you can
- The amount of times I die due to reloading taking too long is horrendous (hence change 1)
- The amount of times I die due to not being able to output enough damage compared to an AKM/FCAR/XP-54 etc. far enough away where its hard to hit them is very annoying (hence change 2)
The cl-40 doesn't feel fun to play anymore and is super tilting to die due to its pitfalls. It's damage felt so consistent early on in the game's existence.

itās just too much to deal with playing with weapons that maybe good on paper but not fun to use like 93r and the new light AR.
Ranked players may take advantage of high damage weapons but we play for fun not to sweat and win.
Make 93r have more fire rate like reducing the time between bursts,make it shoot 5 bullets and make them incendiary and name the gun spitfire which makes more sense.
The new light AR needs reduced recoil.
The ks23 needs slightly higher projectile speed as even in mid range u have to lead your shots and it looks like it should hit but doesnāt and bullet deviation makes it worse.
It needs wall penetration and headshot 1.2x to make it truly unique and stand out.
Light breach charge needs to stack damage atleast close to what it was in season1

The goo gun is literally a key for portable head glitches with a stun lock if you shoot someone. But the stun gun is oppressive? Sure.
Let's also talk about how oppressive the lock bolt is. What exactly is the counter play to the lock bolt? You can chain down an entire team with the click of a button and arguably get more value out of that than stunning a person for a pick. And before you say to run data reshaper, I do. But I shouldn't HAVE to run the data reshaper for a single gadget that might not even pop up. Besides that, shooting it out takes too long, and glitching it is pointless because your glitch grenades will just end up hitting you too. If you get lockbolted, 9/10 times you're getting killed before you can do anything to get out of it.
But being able to stun ONE person at a time is so oppressive, right?
And being able essentially do the same to an entire team in the blink of an eye is totally not, right?
Everyone keeps acting like light players are terrorists with tazers. I'm here to tell you that heavy players are the real terrorists.

The counter play is positioning, you position yourself somewhere where you can beam the light, but they canāt dash up to you, using grapple or dash is an effective counterplay, or glitch nades. The amount of pain a dagger/sword player is lowers over the course of getting more rs and finding better counters. Dash and sword is just a subclass combo that you might have to look out for ;D

World tour point system needs a rework, getting 6 points for getting into round 2 is insane.
Realistically getting 3rd in round 1 should net you 3 points then second and first should be 5 points
Second round 3rd place should get 5, second and first should net you 10(these all stack with the finals round results) winning final should net you 30 points losing should net you 20
so all in all in round one you come 1st you get 5 points, in round 2 you come first again you get 15 and in the final if you win you get 45 points. ATM the point system just feels meh this is me spitballing btw if you've got better solutions i would love to here it.

Cerberus is very unique it should have its fire damage be the brunt of its damage, every pellet should start fire damage but its overall pellet damage (that isn't from be fire) should be nerfed probably round to less than the model so 10 - 11 per pellet.
Famas might need a slight recoil adjustment to make it less easy (currently the best ar by a mile) and/or a damage nerf
Additionally would love for clubs to be expanded upon, we have contracts for clubs i would love to see a leveling system giving players a unique cosmetic for reaching certain clan levels, club contracts aren't the only thing that should level the club up playing and winning with club mates should increase rank (not as much as the contracts but should still impact the level)
Might just be me but playing light without stun gun has been great as it frees up an extra slot and makes it so i can experiment with other gadgets without feeling like a big detriment to my team play (would love for it to either be not a guaranteed pick for high level lights kit or removed completely) i feel this way about defibs as well as they trivialize resing and fights most of the time plus them and movement are instant picks for mediums kits in high level.

day 9 of petitioning for dagger revert. no extra damage is needed. it could have less damage on its left clicks and I and others I think would be just fine if you were more mobile using it and we reverted the angle nerf. angle nerf introduced what I assume is an unintended backstab consistency problem where they should be hitting but they now don't. Also please revert nerf to backstab distance. The nerfs were pointless and done with malice in my humble opinion

Still no stun gun. When claw do 5dmg, grab you and stun you, like the stun gun but it's still here and even buff this season. Nice. It's unfair. Claw + Hammer + Punch = Free Kill.

- Add "step" in the reload animation so when you climb on something during a reload, it's not completly reset.
- Increase the netcode/tickrate/servers. Getting kill at 3m far from a hammer/sword or behind a wall / door / cover is not ACCEPTABLE. Servers can't register your movements
- Perma ban toxic players and cheaters
- Let us choose our sight weapons at the beginning of a game
- Let us go in practice with friends
- Delete low gravity event. It's not fun AT ALL and unfair for Light. Movement are cancel and they only got 150HP
- Random skin and charm list for weapons/gadgets
- We shouldn't lost point in ranked when a team mate leave the squad and didn't play during the round
- Let us invite friends or join them in group even if we are not the group leader
- Add the possibility to look at the profil/card of friends and recent players.
- Dash is trash with your netcode. Servers can't register a dash behind a cover and you will die anyway
- **Give us the possibility to customize rules in private match. Like "only M and Dual Blade", "only Light and SR84", "only marksman", "No heal, Light only and grenade only". You can imagine all you want and put it in private match for streamer and their community to make the game more fun **
- Let us use our VR for XP weapons or other things (not from me but very interresting idea !)

- Buff Vanish Bomb and make it start regen instant. It will increase survability for the Light and it can be use for your teammates too !
- The Sword buff was not necessary in 5.8
- Nerf Turret range.
- The FAMAS nerf is useless in 5.8
- Nerf proximity sensor range
- Nerf Cerberus damage.
- Nerf the range of the KS shotgun. You can put 100 dmg at 20m easy.
- Nerf PIKE to 48 instead of 50 dmg. You know what you did in 5.8 with that.
- LH1 nerf was to strong in 6.0. Buff it to 45 dmg.
- Buff Light survability or DPS. Light should be the DPS class but the game is always around Medium and Heavy class
- Nerf a bit Deagle damage or range
- Flamethrower and hook should NOT get you through walls or other.

I might want to say smth about the minigun. While I don't wish to ask for a buff, I'd like to ask for a quality of life improvement. Smth I see a bunch in fights with a minigun is that I find it obnoxious to always fully wind up my minigun when I'm trying to use a bubble or barricades or my mesh shield. The problem is that I feel I'm being punished for using my abilites while i'm fighting. I ask if this could be removed or tuned down as it is quite unfair that other classes get to use their guns and abilites with little to no drawback.

itās just too much to deal with playing with weapons that maybe good on paper but not fun to use like 93r and the new light AR.
Ranked players may take advantage of high damage weapons but we play for fun not to sweat and win.
Make 93r have more fire rate like reducing the time between bursts,make it shoot 5 bullets and make them incendiary and name the gun spitfire which makes more sense.
The new light AR needs reduced recoil.
The ks23 needs slightly higher projectile speed as even in mid range u have to lead your shots and it looks like it should hit but doesnāt and bullet deviation makes it worse.
It needs wall penetration and headshot 1.2x to make it truly unique and stand out.
Light breach charge needs to stack damage atleast close to what it was in season1
Sword is bullshit and some of the least fun I've had playing against since S1 Nukes/wallhacks. The only "win condition" for sword is to gap close, there's literally zero skill involved and there's no actual counter play to it except for hoping that the enemy sword user is too stupid to figure out how to get close to you in a game which makes gap closing trivial.

@pseudo latch the miniguns spread is perfect as it is. It's a minigun not an assault rifle. You remove that bullet spread and you remove It's identity and get a boring trash assault rifle with a slow charge up time and a minigun skin. It needs buffing or better balancing in other ways. I personally love it, but would never use it i. ranked cus yeah there you ain't gonna have a good time. I think successive hits with it should do 2% increased damage. That'd give it a proper brrrrr minigun reward feel. Like getting random crits on TF2 but actually consistently and with skill.
Please Embark don't tighten miniguns spread. It's fun af right now. Do this and you no longer have a minigun.

The ks-23 needs 100% accuracy, any other buff is pointless
The ks-23 is the only direct hit projectile weapon that is not afforded the luxury of accuracy which is the main reason its suffering. In concept its great and i love the gun, but anyone who has played it for any significant ammount of time knows that its main point of frustration is its unrelieability. Because of the spread targets beyond 8 meters are a gamble to hit. The feature inplace to make it a skillful weapon is already the projectile, however this is ruined by the spread. You can predict your targets movement, lead your shot correctly but still miss because the game decided your slug goes left.
The only buff the ks needs to be good is accuracy. Buffs like range falloff or firerate wouldnt solve the underlying issue of it being frustrating to use beyond 8 meters, headshots without accuracy are pointless, damage is going to force winch ks back which was not very fun to die to. A bigger projectile would maybe work but decrease the guns skill expression.
Even with 100% accuracy the gun would bw far from op due to the small mag and bad ttk. However it would be a lot more fun and a lot less frustrating to use

Sword is perfectly balanced and healthy. Itās strong in enclosed areas because itās a fucking melee weapon on the lowest HP class in the game, so it literally has to be or it would be unusably bad even in close quarters. Burst shotguns still shit on Sword even in melee range. In return Sword is literal trash in open areas. And this is a game where you can destroy nearly any part of the map.
People refusing to do any of the many counters in the game is entirely their own fault. This isnāt specific to Sword. Same goes for something like short-range guns versus long-range guns in short-range vs long-range, one side will always have to do things to make up for the disadvantage.
There are playstyle and equipment counters to every single thing in the game. Sword or not, every situation will not be a 50-50, thatās stupid. Sometimes youāll be advantaged and itāll force enemies to play around that and vice-versa.
- Playstyle counters to Sword: Standing in different directions to make it literally impossible for the Sword to go for more than one person at a time but every person with a ranged weapon still being able to shoot the Sword and cover for each other, playing vertical height/creating vertical lines of sight by destroying floors and ceilings, destroying walls to make enclosed areas have much longer horizontal lines of sight, using environmental barrels/canisters (eg fire/gas to zone off an area, goo to fill up a doorway or hall, glitch to shut off their abilities, etc), playing open parts of the map, manipulating environment to move a Cashout station, etc
- Equipment counters to Sword: Dash/Grapple, Turret, Winch, Charge, every ranged hitscan that isnāt trash-tier, SH1900, Cerberus 12GA (S+ tier and overtuned meta weapon), SA1216, Flamethrower, Spear (alt can easily kill Sword first and by extension be forcible zoning), Mines, Glitch Trap, Jump Pad, Lockbolt, RPG, Goo/Barricades to block doorways/halls, Sonar/Prox Sensor to remove any element of surprise

Light Sword+Dash is oppressive for a new player and annoying for midlevel play while being mediocre in high level play.
so what do we have currently?
its left click doing 74 (fine) right click damage being 140 with AOE (issue). sledge was changed to not multhit with its heavy attack for a reason do the same for this.
effective range of this increases by a lot when combining dash+ sword alt/right click, 6m 7m to something like 11m-12m although light becomes a human bullet. so he is vulnerable to mines and being shot while coming at a target.
this range increase makes so sword achieves slightly better range of effectiveness off the double barrel with the disadvantages of positioning and not able to interact with stuff if they dont get close (activating mines, damaging props and other stuff in the map), also being line of sight exposed when attacking to gunfire and gadgets
Assuming a light player uses dash +sword or dash + double barrel with both having vanish bomb...
So sword can do (140+40) (180) to oneshot light from 11-12m while double barrel two shots them in 10 m and needs to be at 4m-5m to oneshot them
So sword can (140+140) (280) to two shot medium with 11-12m while double barrel needs 6-7m to two shot them (light can also 140+40+74 for similar two shot)
So sword can (140+40)+(140+40) (360) to two shot a heavy with 11-12m while double barrel needs 4-5m to two shot them...
main differences important to point out double barrel has to reload sword does not, sword is forced to use dash to engage while double barrel can decide depending on situation. sword has AOE double barrel does not.
drop its alt fire damage to 120 and reduce AOE. about the AOE If the secondary would only hit in a straight line, that would be enough of a nerf for it. I'm OK with the range and all, but if your going for a Lunge, you shouldn't be able to draw massive circles to hit left and right of your corridor. Also lag and bad server tick rate benefit melee more then guns in general

Many people that use stun grenades don't even realize they are stunning their own team mates, especially new players.
There should be some kind very visible notification when you hit your own allies with either stun, gas or fire so people can at least be aware that they did a bad play.

Console players being forced into PC lobbies is the worst thing to happen to this game. It was perfect before when it was Xbox and PS mixed.
Issues with player retention? That's probably because the 144hz ruby player just shit all over the kid who just installed on his PS4 to give the game a try.
If you give KBM support for console and have input based matchmaking, the people who want to be competitive can be, and the people who want to be casual can be.

you don't need input based matchmaking or to buff aim assist. you just have to allow MnK on console in crossplay lobbies so it's MnK and controller there and console crossplay off is controller only. Not sure there's enough players for PC to get their own crossplay off option for MnK only. Console only quese take longer. Hell PC may have that already what do I know.
Point is console should be allowed to use MnK in crossplay lobbies when PC can use either inputs with better frames.
Add more weapons with unique mechanics that require practice. I think this would make people more interested in sticking with the game, playing, and grinding.

I think the invis nade is kinda odd to be owned by the light tbh ,they already have invisibility as an ability and while yes you can turn friendlys invisible it's almost never the case and primary use is on self
I think it's fine, the invis nade isn't that strong anyways because of the sound and visuals, most times u have to pop it so far away it runs out before you're even there. It's situational mainly to escape when getting chased not when engaging. I think it's a fine gadget on light, but there are other things that could be looked at, like making the character model a bit bigger so it's easier to hit or smth like that.

For some reason this season, the openings on both ladders, under the main central building in Kyoto, are closed.
If you can, please, fix that, and maybe add some breakable ventilation on the side of the basement that faces the bamboo forest, because it's basically a solid wall, if you don't have any destructive gadget.
Also, Spring Kyoto is having much more stuttering and performance setbacks than the last seasons version. Winter Kyoto was behaving way better, and almost perfectly, and the frozen water was such a convenience.

Please embark for the love of god remove sniper rifles from power shift they don't belong in it I am tired of being sodomized by some troglodyte across the map sniping me (which is manageable) or worse two troglodytes using them so if you manage to catch (because you gave sniper rifle to the most mobile class) and kill one the other kills you then instantly revives the other so the only thing you do is either sit there and except that you are going to have a the worse game of your life or quite and find a new match and hope that there isn't some goo eating light using it

I do think the sniper rifle should be removed from power shift. It is singe-handedly ruining the mode. Half of every lobby is just lights playing TDM sniper simulation. There are so many gmaes I play heavy and basically just AFK uncontested on the platform because half the lobby is off playing snipers. Extremely unfun
embark could you look into the possibility of setting player cards per outfit. Example: My OSPUZE outfit i want to set the OSPUZE player card banner and yellow colour scheme, when i switch to my DISSUN outfit i want the DISSUN red border and red colour scheme.

Sniper is quite mid/hard in the other game modes tho. And chasing down snipers and killing them in Powershift is usually quite easy (and fun).

Also 3 dashes back to back is kinda odd without reprecussion I mean the heavy gets a mesh shield but is put to a walking speed,Demat has 3uses to but it still cost 1 use to turn a wall back solid so you can't spam it. but with dash you get a slight increase to fov as to not lose your target and become the fastest thing in the game then when combod with the DB sometimes the fights over b4 you can comprehend what happened.
to fix this I think there should be a dash sickness
After first dash use your cross hair sways just a tad bit almost like a drunk effect,the faster you spam is the worst the effect is but maximum time for sickness would be like 2 seconds

Still good to make a quick getaway but no more relying on your opponent to run out of ammo trying to kill you.
Another version I think would be decent is a dash fatigue similar to sickness but instead of sway on your cross hair it would be a temporary slowness like a small breather before you can full run again
I know the light is a glass cannon seeing as how the plays are more hit and run you could still get a contestant down to half hp before super fast dashes need to be used

Add kusarigama for light,primary attacks hit like sword but alt attack is u spin the chain and blade 160 degrees in front of u and most damage where blade hits not the chain,itās skill based cause u hold down alt and the more u hold the longer u throw and only the blade part damages when spinning plus u can move your aim while spinning to make blade go in that direction.
To simply put it,the melee alt is more like aim and shoot but use aim to move the blade and hit box.
There r two ways of implementing this,either the melee projectile starts from an arc from the left side and goes to the centre line and move as u change your aim or the projectile starts from the crosshairs and moves where u move your aim
U may change between the two using a different stance using the weapon inspection button or add more combos using that button.
Either u canāt use light spec when using alt or give this weapon to medium with a wall run gadget or else itās the most dull experience chasing player as a medium

BUFF THE KS-23. The gun is almost there in being a great weapon but it needs something a little more. I saw someone suggest maybe it slows enemies down or it is hitscan like the sniper to a certain range. The low dps on it def makes it a hinderance on a team more than a help

I basically only play PS these days and 1 sniper tends to be pretty standard. 2 happens from time to time. 3 idk if I've ever seen. Sure it happens but has to be rare (and not very smart).
Regardless, if they ban sniper from PS they take away any reason for 99% to use it since it's very difficult in the other modes, hence you don't see them often there.

Please implement some QoL updates for riot shield - give the attack just a tad more range, it is currently incredibly unforgiving with regard to landing hits, or the hit reg is just bad and giving some extra range might help
Riot Shield vs Melee: Either implement a dmg mitigation when they hold Rclick against any melee or perfect parry (but fix the server tick rate first for that). They suffer the most along with Dual Blades/Dagger

TDM by contrast places you in a small area of the map, and requires 30 kills per round. Personally I think having 3 rounds is kinda boring and keeps you away from continuous play for long periods of time by putting time between rounds. If you wanted to have it so it gave players time to change loadouts why would you then give players in round access to change them? Also idk why it's 100 per kill not 1000 but that's more of a personal thing.
I'd say give players about half the map (with the other half also being a possible map to get), make every match 15 mins long and give them a goal of 90 kills as a team to allow for large, satisfying, kill streaks and high kill counts. It's incredibly satisfying to get loads of kills already, separating it by round imo means players of the mode can't have long enough time to get these.
Also again, please bring back Bank It. There was next to no reason to remove it.

The current state of TDM actively punishes revives. I suggest either disabling revives in the mode, or making it so reviving an ally downed by an opponent removes 1 kills worth of cash from them

I don't understand why you do this to the game. 0 fun for casual players, everybody trying hard to win and people telling me "world tour is ranked". no scripts or anything buddy. Its just my aim nothing shady behind it. If someone plays legit good then you call that cheating?? The major annoyance with light at present is xp 54 and gateway which they use to double every cashout to grief the lobby. Even when I play light I take kills effortlessly as you can expect from my vid. Thats how I say light is broken and is mostly used in every match. For medium Pike is another irritation to play against.
CL40 is in a good spot but I feel like it would benefit from a projectile speed buff more than anything. It will make aiming more consistent and make it more competitive for high level lobbies.

XP needs a massive nerf. This weapon is literally the bane of every single gamemode because it's so strong and every single player knows it. I was playing a WT match with my friends as a heavy versus 7 light players on the opposing teams. I turned my back for one second at full health and a light halfway across a building fires the XP at me for half a second and my health goes from full to 60 in that time frame. I pulled out my mesh shield but I was too late and the other light dashed at me and killed me.
In the same match, I got beamed from a rooftop two buildings away while trying to steal a cashout, again, by the Xp, and my health went from full to 20 in two seconds.
Seriously, I beg that Embark nerfs this awful weapon to the ground.

It's dumb how people with a lot of playtime but mid skill (like me) get put in lobbies with people WAY above my average, even from the stats. I have ~30k lifetime kills and made it to plat last season, and I'm constantly being put in lobbies with ruby players and people with an average of 60k lifetime kills or more. Before I get hit with the skill issue: yeah, probably. But it's also not fun getting humbled literally every match since start of S6

make it so that leaving any game midway saves your deaths and none of your kills towards your stats
I believe rifles such as AKM, FCAR, famas, need a bit more damage on long distance. XP-54 may need a long distance damage reduce

Day 5 of asking for a Spear buff:
Among many of the Spearās problems, one of the most noticeable when using it is it's shockingly low DPS. Here is a list of guns that can out TTK the spear in Melee range while also being able to do damage from range.

Medium v Heavy:
AKM: 1.7 > 2.5
CL-40: 2.3 > 2.5
FCAR: 1.4 > 2.5
Model 1887: 1.6 > 2.5
R .357: 1.6 > 2.5
Pike-556: 2.1 > 2.5
Cerberus-12: 1.8 > 2.5
Light v Heavy:
93R: 1.64 > 1.8
V9S: 1.33 > 1.8
M11: 1.26 > 1.8
XP-54: 1.48 > 1.8

M26 Matter: 1.41 > 1.8
Note: These damage numbers come from patch 1.5.5 and takes into account only body shot numbers. The spear numbers come from its M1 standard attack, not the spin. I just wanted to illuminate that even when Spear has the first shot on another player, how often they lose. Thank yall embark for continuing to do an amazing job on my favorite game and please consider buffing the spear in any capacity!

i find it unreal that after 2 rounds of carrying my game crashes, i miss the first minute of the final round, rejoin the match and winning the whole tournament i still get awarded a loss as if I lost in the first round!! thatās not fair at all!

let us put teams of 5-6 in the game for private matches using the final round gamemode

Just a suggestion but I believe the game can use real sponsors instead of fake that can bring some good money and make it more interesting imagine being sponsored by redbull for example
xp45 never needed a damage buff it was perfect. literally had a nice TTK very solid dps super nicely balanced and yet so many people would cry pleaseeee embark buff this because they had to be compari g it to m11 which was pure (insert disease here).
Take it back down -1 damage and then the m11 xp45 and arn are actually in balanced spots. Nice good dps whilst not being so ridiculous that new players go wtf even is this game as they're noticing in quickplay that light is the annoying mosquito of the game that makes them uninstall.
