do u use dagger? i understand its difficult to fight against but its simultaneously difficult if not worse to use. the steps required to just land a backstab is so much more than it is to just follow your camera to the guy
im not saying dagger needs to be buffed but its quality of life is just abysmal and should absolutely be improved even if it means a damage nerf so it cant one combo heavies
if youre referencing the plea to rebuffing angle despite face stabs, look up why face stabs occur in the finals and thatll explain that the backstab angle has absolutely nothing to do with it. it only sucks more because dagger isnt gaining the attention it needs as those complaining that dagger is broken thanks to face stabs overpower those struggling to use the dagger due to its inconsistencies. its a latency issue not an angle issue so on the daggers perspective the face stab never even occurred, we rightfully landed the backstab.
If you're by yourself the respawn timer should only be 7 seconds instead of the full 30

i beg, fix dagger angle back to 180 degrees. let us run while the dagger is charging a backstab, then we can be slow while its being held.
this is just a parody change to be how it was before s4 when they added the holding. this small bit of movement opened this weapon up to so much more creativity and footwork. rather than what it is now where you either rat behind a door or need to spam all 3 dashes to catch someone going at a leisurely jaunt right in front of you
aswell many have said before me, the change to 150 degrees did not fix the “face stab” issue that has to do with server latency. people still have the same issues even with the angle change it just made the usability horrible.

I feel heavy is undertaker mostly. Slow and big easy target to light high damage weapons. Frustrating to play heavy when u just die because lights does insane damage. Heavy is almost only one who has been nerfed in every patch (except latest one lmg buff)
World tour point system needs a rework, getting 6 points for getting into round 2 is insane.
Realistically getting 3rd in round 1 should net you 3 points then second and first should be 5 points
Second round 3rd place should get 5, second and first should net you 10(these all stack with the finals round results) winning final should net you 30 points losing should net you 20
so all in all in round one you come 1st you get 5 points, in round 2 you come first again you get 15 and in the final if you win you get 45 points. ATM the point system just feels meh this is me spitballing btw if you've got better solutions i would love to here it.

A nerf would probably drop its dmg to the point where pike is at so 50s or make the dmg 64 and call it a day
An ideal rework would be making it a hip fire machine by nuking its range and damage, buffing its hip fire accuracy whilst making its damage in the 40s - 50s
Cerberus is very unique it should have its fire damage be the brunt of its damage, every pellet should start fire damage but its overall pellet damage (that isn't from be fire) should be nerfed probably round to less than the model so 10 - 11 per pellet.
Additionally would love for clubs to be expanded upon, we have contracts for clubs i would love to see a leveling system giving players a unique cosmetic for reaching certain clan levels, club contracts aren't the only thing that should level the club up playing and winning with club mates should increase rank (not as much as the contracts but should still impact the level)
Might just be me but playing light without stun gun has been great as it frees up an extra slot and makes it so i can experiment with other gadgets without feeling like a big detriment to my team play (would love for it to either be not a guaranteed pick for high level lights kit or removed completely) i feel this way about defibs as well as they trivialize resing and fights most of the time plus them and movement are instant picks for mediums kits in high level.

Suggestion for the Data reshaper. I think the recent nerf is actually an understandable one. However its already a struggling gadget as is. Id suggest instead of just giving it 2 charges. Give it more charges and let varrying things consume different ammount of charges. Like say have 60 charges and let a turret consume 30, thus allowing you to reshape 2 turrets just like now. But if you target a mine or other deployable its 15 and if you target a barrel it would be 10.
I know the reshaper works with an AoE. So id say let it consume charges based on the most 'expensive' thing it reshapes. That way it has minimal effect on how it currently works. Also give it a slight delay in between uses of maybe like 200ms. So you don't accidentally use it multiple times on the same thing you where trying to reshape.
Minigun feels very underpowered, either tighten the spread or increase damage (50 more ammo would also be nice)

The thing is that the efffevtive range is pretty low, meaning you have to get up close to use it at its full potential (15m at max I would say). Once you get in range however, it actually shreds whatever is in front of it

Your 30 years of gaming logic for some reason don't take into account speed, mobility options and hitbox of every class which also affect balance in a huge way
Sure, H has 200 more HP than L, but he is slow af, has the biggest hitbox and zero instant mobility options
+L has tools to make a surprise hit and start a fight with advantage (cloak/vanish bomb, sonar nades, tracking dart)
If it will be possible for L to just jump into a fight with H and just outperform him due to raw firepower why would any1 play H?
We have already seen this in s3 triple L teams were surrounding every mode and this was just terrible

The TDM map zones where there's so many levels (Horizon and Fortune come to mind) play like ASS. Please relook at those areas. I feel like there could be more zones on Kyoto and Skyway and Bernal which would be loads better

If you’re gonna change ARN to make it feel more viable I’d like for the body shot damage to stay the same so long as you emphasize headshots with a damage buff for precise tracking, that way it’s not as forgiving as the m11 or xp but the most rewarding for players who want to put time into learning it

180/250/320 I could see being nice. But lights might become unproportionally more dominant as they already dish out a lot of damage and have mobility. I do think the gaps between classes shouldn’t be too large, but weapons have been balanced around the current respective hp pools. The whole game would have to be rebalanced to accommodate for this basically. I think they should do this as a limited time mode and see how it feels
As long as mobility was tuned accordingly for light and heavy, it would be fun to try
Use world tour to test more ideas like different game mode events (high gravity or flood warning), different health values, more cashout perks (like how starting one gave +100 over health or emote for more cash)
Something to keep it feeling fresh and make the grind more enjoyable

Audio in this game is trash. I mean like actually fucking dogshit, it is the worst fps audio to grace the fps scene period. Balance is horrible, optimization is horrendous. Hit registration is awful, desync is bad, matchmaking is bad, in game events are nothing but an ear ****, low gravity needs to be removed, invis needs to be replaced with something else. “Map rotation” on world tour is an awful idea. Overall the genuine only reason this game is still successful is cause embark cooks with the cosmetics.

EDIT: For anybody who doesn't want to open the link (which is absolutely understandable), the enemy had over 208k kills while our team had a bit over 34k. This means they had much more experience than us. And that lead to an easy lose against them. The skillgap was unmatchable.

current spawns make third partying extremely likely, in a more subtle way from the previous time that ppl mass-complained about spawns, and I think it's starting to catch on now that it's been several days of s6 ranked
last time, the issue was ppl constantly spawning on top of you and in front of you, so it was obvious to players (big example is seoul hospital's infamous back alley spawns that are now fixed)
now, the issue is that the match will pick 3 teams to constantly, never-endingly spawn on each other while there's a perfectly good 2nd cashout across the map to pair with, and that longer vault fights will have a third team spawn on them instead of the team they wiped to, making that second vault fight take even longer
current spawns basically make "tempo" extremely prone to offset, which makes the game flow poorly
for a patch that removes skulls in the aim of reducing third partying, I sure am getting third partied more than I have all of S5

i hope you guys try to achieve that evey weapon has around the same viability. i seriously dont understand how you guys have such a hard time with it. i mean, once youre playing at a level where people have high hit rate, it becomes pretty clear which weapons are stronger than others.
also, i think in the optimal scenario, every class should have around the same chance to kill the other class in a 1v1. Yes, teamplay will always be the most important factor, but being dependent on your team to be able to create value is bad. since you can easily create situations in favour of your weapon/spec, you should definitely make it as easy to turn said situations back to the others favour. right know its wayyy to easy to force short range engagements, which is part of why those weapons are dominating high rank. think about that

A glitch for ks23 where u pump the shotgun twice if u quick melee at the end of the animation,u reload less then 5 bullets for medium rifle if u click mid way of reload animation even if u see all 5 bullets being reloaded.
all these kids want to solo mini gun everyone without sticking with teammates and wants buffs but it would be valid to only have less spread the more u shoot,don’t mess up the balance.
The ks23 needs headshot 1.2x buff as well as wall penetration,it mostly effects other heavies their heads r big enough to land a shot without being shredded by mini gun.

event idea: **Ospuze overdrive **
this event acts as rework for the low gravity event and could be tested during the ospuze WT event
-the event keeps the current low gravity launch distances, but instead of players slowly reaching it and gliding down gently, they will instead be launched at break neck speed, and fall back down even faster
-certain map placed jump pads (some of which currently dont go higher, only slower during low gravity) should loose said limitation, and allow players to quickly scale large parts of the map
-(maybe) add a separate 10-20% speedboost on all players
low gravity currently just feels like playing in slow-motion
being denied an escape because you cant fall fast enough and often ending up glorified target practice if you try to use a jump pad or jump off of a building
this rework aims to turn it upside down, by making everyone faster instead, which should make it feel less frustrating and more energetic instead
this might end up being unbalanced, especially the player speedboost part, but thats why i think it should be tested in WT, where experiments like this have been really interesting so far
but the way it is right now, i think low gravity doesnt improve the game and actively makes it worse at times
The biggest balancing issue in The Finals is simple, and Embark refuses to accept it:
The HP difference between Heavy (350) and Medium (250) is somewhat reasonable and balanceable, with a 100-point difference. Following over 30 years of gaming logic, Heavy should have more health and deal less damage, while Medium should have less health and more damage.
The HP difference between Medium (250) and Light (150) is also fairly reasonable, with a 100-point difference. Again, using logic, Medium should have more health and less damage, while Light should have less health and more damage.
But the difference between Heavy (350) and Light (150) is absurdly large — 200 points. When you balance an item for fair damage against Heavy, it DESTROYS Light, and when balanced for Light, it barely affects Heavy.
No, the mobility difference between the three classes doesn’t make up for this huge gap, not even close. Neither do their abilities or gadgets. The bigger this health gap, the worse the game balance will be due to simple math. I don’t want Heavy to be so slow it’s unplayable, nor Light to be so fast it’s impossible to hit, but something has to change. The most logical and simple solution is to narrow this gap to balance the game properly.
Heavy with 320 HP, Medium with 250, and Light with 180 sounds much more reasonable, with a 70-point difference between each class. In addition, we should add decimals to the numbers to be more precise when balancing (or multiply HP x10, from 320/250/180 to 3200/2500/1800, removing the decimals). And make certain weapons, skills, and gadgets deal percentage-based damage instead of flat damage. For example, grenades, mines, Heavy’s flamethrower, Medium’s CL40, Light’s dagger, etc.
Balancing is one of the main reasons players decide to stay or leave a game. Whether the game feels FAIR or UNFAIR directly impacts how the player feels, and thus their final decision. And The Finals requires a complete structural revision...
SBMM risks meaning always sweaty matches tho. I'd rather have some hard and some easy games than every game sweaty, and keep SBMM for Ranked.

I like all the new sights but I wish there was a way to try them out in the practice range before spending vr on them. especially after unlocking all of them for 1 weapon and needing to change the sight in main menu before loading back into practice range for EACH sight to test.

Please reduce the amount of outdoor cashbox spawns on Monaco, it makes it very frustrating to play on as someone who enjoys melee weapons and shotguns. You basically are forced to swap if the boxes decide to all spawn in the outdoor points. The trees in the parks are very annoying to play around too as the foliage is too much visual noise/clutter.
They also make the destruction mechanics not matter in any meaningful way, there are no buildings to hide in/destroy when most of the cashboxes and vaults spawn outside in the park areas (except when it spawns in the tiny building in the middle of the park)
Also please remove the tunnel spawn completely, it’s not a fun site to play around (for attackers or defenders)

Ideia, why not rework spear alt fire to be an act of throwing the spear, but instead of being just damage to finish people up make so it can get stuck into a wall and becomes a interact-able pole that players (anyone) can spin and jump up with vertical focus (like 3d platforms acrobatic in a bar ). So now it will have utility and tech to differentiate from sledge. Current alt fire is just bad design in its current state.
I have a suggestion: please make the Steam presence (Playing The Finals: In the Menu) that show what mode you play and on which map you play, the same for discord presence. This would be really nice

Please change the dual blades. The current combo system is frustrating to play with. I actively avoid the third cross slash because it is the lowest damage attack while taking the longest. Instead, please replace the combo with one attack that deals 55/55 or 60/60 damage. This improves the breakpoints on full health heavy/light targets.

invisibility is ruining the game, if you are trying to play casual quickplay is infested with lights and every other death is by someone i cant even see. Thermal vision does not even counter it, i don't know if its a bug or if its not supposed to but i can watch a player disappear in my thermal vision and i don't see them. Its nit even skill based, if your eyes aren't perfect or your monitor isn't great you are just screwed. its not making the game fun and the lack of a counter just makes me not want to play.

Don't listen to all the people saying to nerf the CB-01 Repeaters damage, If it needs to be nerfed only nerf the range or fire rate. Nerfing it's damage will just make it a worse pike/revolver and no one would use it. We don't need 3 weapons that basically feel the same. The repeater needs to keep it's damage to feel unique.

Either buff the minigun or just remove it. It's only niche is on powershift and that's if you're just stacking on a 5 man, god forbid you get a mainly open map then you're just fucked for the duration of the match and forced to swap off

day 1 of petitioning for dagger revert. no extra damage is needed. it could have less damage on its left clicks and I and other I think would be just fine if you were more mobile using it and we reverted the angle nerf. angle nerf introduced what I assume is an unintended backstab consistency problem where they should be hitting but they now dont. The nerf was pointless and was done with malice in my humble opinion

We need no cool-down spec in practice server mostly for winch,grapple hook and dash practice,it would be crazy fun if we had a whole map as for play test and just have fun with grapple hook.
I seriously think making medium class parkour more like mirrors edge game would be nice,I mean mostly the game feel and animations with wall running added and pole swinging,medium class is really efficient and cod like but not that unique and fun like the rest of the class.

Buff defibs back to the way it was. I cannot even handle myself trying to get away without getting revived and killed for one second. I can't even save my own teammates without using goo grenade or mesh shield if they're being under attacked by an enemy team. Defib needs to go back to the way it was. I don't care if it goes meta again. It's better than launching three new guns that'll immediately go meta.
I'd still like reviving to affect the score in TDM. Maybe only give points to enemy if the player doesnt get revived.

The ARN-220 shoulda been a Medium's rifle and no, the CB-01 Repeater should stay in Medium too. Lights shouldn't get any new weapon this season, not only that class has enough weapon in abundance already, Lights also have the most viable and good weapon out of the other classes anyway. Heavy is already a lost cause and it's clear Embark gonna keep treating that class like the red-headed step child that it is. So the only suggestion that can be done is either for Light's stuff or Medium's stuff. And you might argue that Heavy just got a minigun, as if that weapon aren't going to be nerfed into meme-tier in the next major balance patch or so. Like the Heavy doesn't have much of the stuff already (MGL32, Flamethrower, Spear...)
Same goes for the CB-01 Repeater, there's no way that gun will be this good for long with how much whining the golden child of the game does about it in this very text channel. Which is why the ARN should have been a Medium's weapon.

Xp54 buff basically killed V9s: 0.06 more than V9s on light, 0.01 less on medium, and slower than heavy but mind you the xp54 has double the range and is automatic with multiple sight variations

Ranked should not have skins locked behind it, lock them behind player progression, give ranked dumbass' charms, and stickers and not weapon skins/player cosmetics.

Currently I'm trying to level up all my stuff to lvl5 so it's white. And noticed how hard some stuff is to level compared to others. Might want to balance weapon levelling. Something like the aps is alot harder to level then for example the regular grenade

Add claymore sword for medium class,primary attacks r wide swings 170 degrees and holding alt attack blocks half the damage and deflect only a few and u can still go at walking speed but releasing after holding it does a downward slash and the higher the damage the higher u fall so u can use dematerialise spec to attack players downward and surprise attacks,good combo with jump pad for very high damage.
Why there are no combat/support/obj stats, no ranks etc. in rank tournament. Even there is no dead indicator. Does anyone also missing that? Is it a bug or a season 6 change?

This change is intended to prevent previously-seen behaviours where teams would use this information to target/avoid specific opponents, and would monitor the status of opposing players through the leaderboard instead of scouting physically. And so, players will now need to use scouting or learn from past encounters to gain more information about opposing teams, as originally intended. Ranks and seedings will be shown to players after they are eliminated from the tournament.

Unless it's been adjusted since release, the CB has extremely low damage against some destructible objects that are easy for every weapon such as grappling hook supports. It didn't seem intended that it would take over the 8 rounds it holds to destroy a single grapple line. (It's been a few days since I used it now, so maybe this is out of date.) ^Also yeah I just played with 7 lights in a game of quickcash. It wasn't that fun to be the medium revolver user with two snipers on my team posted up doing nothing either. >The XP and M11 could have a higher overall TTK by fractions of a second and it wouldn't be the end of the world. You guys need to stop catering to people who can't aim because everytime they are within 5 meters of you just magdumping your face. God forbid you enter a mantle animation over a railing next to you or something.

Fundamentally, I agree with you, actually. I don't think this game is e-sport ready, and I hate it when devs try to build their games around competitive scenes (because they almost ALL suck at it). I don't think it's right to lock content relative to the abilities of other players, too, especially when the game has a cheating problem. Unlike what @nova osprey suggests, Overwatch is a good precedent for what you're suggesting, as the only thing locked to higher ranks are stupid sprays and player icons, not skins.
But with all that being said, it's too late. They already got about 8 seasons' worth of leaderboards and 5 seasons of Ruby skins. Changing the tune now is just gonna piss everyone off.
I think a lot of people will agree with me when I say there should be way better skins for gun progression then there is now, I know it’s to show off how hard you grinded, but for that grind for god sakes give us better skins, the new one has nothing to it, only good one is lvl 5 white, lvl 6 and 9 (purple and teal glare type design)

I would disagree with moving the weapon to medium class, because the whole point of giving light an AR was to give it a chance to fight back against the AKM, FCAR and other medium weapons. also moving the weapon from one class to another would piss off everybody except you.
However i do agree that the ttk should fall in between the AKM and FCAR, because right now the ARN has the worst damage output of any other light gun in the game

This is the problem with nerfing heavy in every single way every patch the class feels so week right now the guns that heavy can use are just worse in any way compared to what light and medium have gotten with the buffs. Long range you lose to AR's and dmr's close range you lose to Lights SMG's and the AR's mediums have because they have higher fire rate.
Heavy is basically only good for placing down shields and cover but what good does it do when you can just demat or just shoot at it cause all shields are like paper

It already loses to shotguns close range due to them being able to peek. And because the spread is so awful, everything else beats it past like 6-7 meters. Would also make it more reliable at destruction on longer distances, instead of bullets being spread on multiple wall pieces.

In the same way FCAR is a higher skill ceiling version of the AKM granting slightly more DPS for more effort, ARN could be a higher skill ceiling XP45.
Bump up ARN damage to 17 from 15
This will reduce shots to kill for:
light from 10 to 9
medium from 17 to 15
heavy 24 to 21
now, to not make it just a better XP45 we gotta give it draw backs.
imo reduce the mag size drastically to make missing shots more punishing as a drawback to faster TTK (like FCAR vs AKM
I think making it 2x22 or 2x24 would be reasonable. you'd need to land almost a FULL body shot mag to one clip a heavy which might seem too punishing, but that's where the DEFINING feature of the gun comes into play. QUICK MAG SWITCH. while the gun is now a lot more punishing when missing shots, you have a quick mag switch to help clean up kills
These changes put the ARN's TTK in line and slightly above other light gun options while making it more punishing with poor user performance

Overwatch would be a good precedent if this game were like over watch. But it’s not, and that means that it should have its own way of doing ranked. Trying to be like other shooters isn’t going to give this game its own identity. That’s why making the skins ranked rewards is completly fine. Considering that we don’t get three new guns every season, it’s very likely that at some point a weapon will come back in the ranked rewards. On top of that, and kind of a side note, with how ass it is to rank up in this game, an emote or a spray really isn’t going to cut it as a reward. A skin does that much better and in this case looks much nicer.
On top of that, there really isn’t anything wrong with the game having a comp mode. Comp players are going to be the ones staying for the longest, meaning they most likely will end up spending the most money, so this game having a competitive scene is going to help.
And last thing, @wide void , this person has edited their message about three times so far, and when I said they had no competitive experience, this was based on earlier when they said their only competitive game experience was running a marathon once.

They don't even have a match history, let alone any of the other features of other shooters that have recently come out. Embark no longer listens to their community and they don't even know how to balance their weapons properly.

The language filter has been stuck permanently on for chat but also I’ve just been matched with someone named “pissbutt_smegma” so like, why was that decision made when the filter is so terrible across the entire gamespace? I’ve seen full slurs make it through the filter as well, pissbutt is just a funny recent example. I had it turned off because it would occasionally censor something it shouldn’t making communication harder but now it’s bad and unavoidable? You gotta either fix the filter or let us turn it off again embark. This is the worst of both worlds.

I've been a medium main for a while and wanted to try out the minigun. Had a wild time, but the only issue I'm finding is I'd like to have separate sensitivities for each class. Would be really nice to have loadout sensitivity presets (possibly attached to the current loadout presets) so I can hone in the individual classes' feels

I've been playing since day 1 and have over 500 hours of play, and I've noticed some game-killing issues.
Lights and matchmaking are a big problem.
Lights are frustrating at all levels. Invisibility shouldn't exist, or it should only be possible with the stealth grenade. Regarding dashes, they're completely broken at high levels. At the same level, it's impossible to win a 1v1. And what's the logic behind using a shotgun that taps twice? Why does double barrel exist? It's frustrating for everyone.
And I won't even mention sword players. Completely stupid, he can simply one-shot a squad in 3S.
For real EMBARK, the light kills the game.
Another point, the matchmaking is stupid. I play with a friend in a duo who isn't very good at it, and we come up against teams of three with the same clan name, all three of whom are S5 Diamond and Emerald, while my friend has 40 hours of play time??? How is this possible?
I come up against guys who have 40-50,000 kills, while I, with 500 hours of play time, only have 23,000. My friend has about 3,000 kills.
It's simple: everyone who wants to try THE FINALS ends up quitting quickly!

Make lockbolt so if more than 1 is deployed simultaneously, then the chaining effect is shorter because I do not want to be stuck in place just because 2 or more heavies really want to kill me

light player is high risk high reward, invis has been nerfed to the point its completely useless. try to use invis in ranked and you will see what i mean.
its a common misconception but the light actually has the lowest ttk in the game. heavy average ttk on a light is less than 1 second and a light avg ttk on a heavy is close to 2 seconds. only with a few weapons like sword and db is that not true, and they are both weapons that require the player to get point blank range to deal damage.
so the problem is, youre letting them get that close

CEmbark has been very mediocre lately. Their main menu looks like an alpha game. They don't even have a match history, let alone any of the other features of other shooters that have recently come out. Some of the equipment levels a lot easier then others while being the same action (deployment) mainly smoke nade doing 200 while anti gravity cube is only 75. i wanna get the level 6+ skins but I don't wanna spend days just waiting for a cool down in game so I suggest making gadget have more ways to gain experience or making the experience values similar (hopefully without nerfing experience gain). An example could be giving gravity cube an extra 50 if the person you killed was effected by it or experience for lifting teammates

The weapon is only better than the double barrel or the matter because of its mobility, otherwise its way worse. You are forced to use dash to deal damage, unlike other weapons. Stop complaining about a weapon that requires you to run a specific spec to be any good at all. Also using sword takes mechanics besides pressing m1 at close range.
the throwing knives feel like an assist weapon only. dealing 60 dmg per hit with a projectile weapon leaves a medium at 10 hp left after successfully landing 4 body shots. compare the ttk of this weapon to any other. players cannot even follow up a long attack to a light attack in the time it takes a competent player to kill them. it needs a 3 dmg buff

It could have programmable ammo (as irl) where when close enough to an enemy, it would automatically explode (unless it detects it's gonna get a direct hit). Obviously, this means that its AoE DMG would be rather low, but it could be useful for chip damage or finishing off a target you've directly hit a few times.

I have an idea to share. I think you could introduce a cheat mode called [Cheaters are Happy]. In this mode, the player's main weapon will automatically aim at enemies when firing in both hip-fire and aimed states. That is, when the player presses the fire button, the weapon will automatically aim at the center point of the enemy and fire. Since the game also poses significant challenges to players' tactics and strategies beyond aiming, even if the player's operation in aiming at enemies is replaced, it can still offer players endless gameplay. Just like the Call of Duty's dock level, it can give players the thrill of killing enemies, and even better. Cerberus 12GA needs a very slight damage nerf. Currently, it is capable of doing 151 damage in a single hit (12 pellets that do 10 damage each + 31 burn damage).
A Medium or Heavy being able to do >149 damage in a single hit with a ranged weapon is unhealthy. The only reason it’s healthy Light can do 150+ damage in a single hit with a ranged weapon is because Light has only 150 HP, meaning a Light who oneshots other Lights can have the exact same done back to them. AKA, it’s perfectly symmetrical.
Light versus Medium or Heavy is not symmetrical because of the different HP values. Light cannot do 250 or 350 damage back in a single ranged weapon hit (nor should they be able to). Likewise, Medium/Heavy being able to do 150 damage in a single ranged weapon hit is also unhealthy.
- Pellets: 12 -> 13
- Damage per pellet: 10 -> 9
This reduces total pellet damage from 120 to 117 a shot, which changes zero breakpoints. 120 x 2 was 240, 117 x 2 is 234. 120 x 3 was 360, 117 x 3 is 351.
Burn damage is still 31, so this reduces total pellet + burn damage from 151 to 148. This changes Light breakpoint from 1 (+ Burn) to 1 + QM or 2.
This successfully solves with a mere 3 damage nerf, less than 2% of the original value, the problem of a Medium or Heavy ranged weapon doing more than 149 damage in a single hit, without compromising anything else. All other breakpoints with or without the burn will be the exact same.
- Medium: 2 + Burn, 2 + QM, or 3
- Heavy: 3

The ARN is incredibly weak and feels awful
Dual Swords should have a buff to the 3rd cross slash. It's current damage output makes using the 3rd slash punishing for the Medium user more than rewarding for committing to the 3rd slash. Proposing an increase from the current 70 damage. At max a 89 damage. This will not change too many damage interactions and will make the dual blades feel nicer when attempting to complete attack combos. The weapon is already weak as is, give it a little bit of love.

I have some suggestions regarding private matches. Me and my friends love playing private matches, but would love to have more configurations available for more variety.
Things like adjustable respawn timers (1 person per team QC is painful and unfair), max health percentages, round/match timers, game show event frequency, movement speed, etc. The primary being respawn timers and max health (or damage multipliers).
Another small thing is giving players access to locked weapons (like in the practice range) so they can test locked weapons with their friends.
The updates that were done this seasons are great, and they make it finally possible to 1v1v1 friends in quick cash, along with just a much smoother experience. Thank you for that, and keep up the great work!

Matchmaking is literally worse than in any season. Yesterday i was Solo Qing ranked. Got two Lights on my team one with sniper and one with throwing knives. No comms. 8th seed against basically people who are ruby every season. Nice matchmaking finals. After the game my playercard shows 23k Eleminations and from both my teammates 2k and 3k??? Where is the fucking matchmaking??? Legit every game i get Q'ed with people who are by mysterious ways 25-30k ranked but belong in fucking bronze.
Seeing how in s8 the game will go esports. I really hope in s7 we get some more gadgets and specialisations. Since it would probably be a bad idea to implement those in s8 as they are harder to balance. I think the finals shines mostly because of its range of gadgets and specialisations and would allow for some cool new playstyles.
For medium recon senses could return as a wide single use sonar ping on something like a 30 second cd. Like apex bloodhound.
For light what about a hacking specialisation? Something more team utility instead of movement. It would have to be strong to offset the light 150hp ofcourse. Something that makes them a backliner support.
Heavy could use some form of movement gadget. Something that would allow for selfish use, but be of less utility like the movement options medium and light have. Heavy kind of struggles in less coordinated teams, and a big part of this is a lack of vertical movement in my opinion.

also, i think in the optimal scenario, every class should have around the same chance to kill the other class in a 1v1. Yes, teamplay will always be the most important factor, but being dependent on your team to be able to create value is bad. since you can easily create situations in favour of your weapon/spec, you should definitely make it as easy to turn said situations back to the others favour. right know its wayyy to easy to force short range engagements, which is part of why those weapons are dominating high rank. think about that

emerald is not a skill level. But SBMM is not that powerful.
You need to start giving some more love to console if you want this game to thrive or even survive.

Game feels clonky when trying to grab stuff (grappling hooks included, and revives). Often nothing happens so you need to do it twice or trice.

Often have to press twice to use stuff like jump pads and Dematerializer, which kinda ruins the experience and purpose. The Demat issue is new for this season. Often when I'm trying to get away nothing happens so I have to press more than once, hence taking longer and often means death.

One shot weapons don't shoot if trying to spam the button. Most noticeable on V9S. Just takes breaks in shooting despite spamming. This has been reported at least 2 months ago.

Add kusarigama for light,primary attacks hit like sword but alt attack is u spin the chain and blade 160 degrees in front of u and most damage where blade hits not the chain,it’s skill based cause u hold down alt and the more u hold the longer u throw and only the blade part damages when spinning plus u can move your aim while spinning to make blade go in that direction.
To simply put it,the melee alt is more like aim and shoot but use aim to move the blade and hit box.
There r two ways of implementing this,either the melee projectile starts from an arc from the left side and goes to the centre line and move as u change your aim or the projectile starts from the crosshairs and moves where u move your aim
U may change between the two using a different stance using the weapon inspection button or add more combos using that button.
Either u can’t use light spec when using alt or give this weapon to medium with a wall run gadget or else it’s the most dull experience chasing player as a medium

I know yall could have had some nice looking charms like for szn 2 the charm could have had a glitchy look to it. Szn 1 could have been like a poker chip. Even in the range all those trophies have a specific theme to them, maybe just something to look into? I just am getting bored with how bare bones these WT/Ranked charms look.
The Asia server needs to be split. For players in Korea and Japan, playing with Indian players is like playing with North American players. At the very least, please show the ping. Why do we have to play a game where we get slaughtered due to ping differences?
The duel blades needs help immediately.The block sometimes just doesn't work? Especially with shotguns also the dmg on in its weird like you need 2 attacks and a stupid qm which is stupid to have to use on a meele weapon to kill someone the fastest not to mention the ttk on heavy and the fact that the third attack is useless to kill them also it's insanely easy to miss a swing (which is like 2 attacks).And the hit reg which is a general problem but especially on duel blades since it has like 3 swings which 1,2 are 2 attacks and the 3 is just a 1 attack

With the inclusion of the “sorry” ping it would be really nice to be able to use these pings right after a bad play or something to let my teammates know that I am, in fact, bad
as someone who uses it religiously, I agree, I don't know what they did but the demat has never felt worse... it's inconsistent for when it activates and whenever you use it you break everything around it, making a lot of noise, especially in the new vegas

As for the feedback, I've played since OB and been thinking a lot regarding weapon balance around medium and heavy automatic weapons vs single shot/semi auto weapons. The prospect of reducing automatic weapon recoil some more would benefit the game overall, allowing for players to more easily return fire at people sitting at range with things such as the repeater/pike/lh1/50. Akimbo as these are some of the more prominant picks in game right now.
A good example of thus would be the xp54, its very controllable and can effectively trade with the above weapons given you control your aim properly, vs things like the Akm/Lewis/M60 just seem wildly 'kicky' in comparison.
Ultimately the game is still wonderful, just annoyed by being poked across map

Allow weapon skin animations in weapon tab instead of exclusively the bundle menu
ARN-220 buff suggestions to actually make it a viable alternative to XP45 without making it a clone:
In the same way FCAR is a higher skill ceiling version of the AKM granting slightly more DPS for more effort, ARN could be a higher skill ceiling XP45.
Bump up ARN damage to 17 from 15
This will reduce shots to kill for:
light from 10 to 9
medium from 17 to 15
heavy 24 to 21
now, to not make it just a better XP45 we gotta give it draw backs.
imo reduce the mag size drastically to make missing shots more punishing as a drawback to faster TTK (like FCAR vs AKM
I think making it 2x22 or 2x24 would be reasonable. you'd need to land almost a FULL body shot mag to one clip a heavy which might seem too punishing, but that's where the DEFINING feature of the gun comes into play. QUICK MAG SWITCH. while the gun is now a lot more punishing when missing shots, you have a quick mag switch to help clean up kills
These changes put the ARN's TTK in line and slightly above other light gun options while making it more punishing with poor user performance

Gadget concepts- interested ti hear what you think of these.
- (L) Portal shot - this does no damage to an enemy but after three seconds allows the shooter to teleport to the marked enemy.
- (L) Stasis bubble - traps all nearby players and projectiles into a slow motion field affecting movement and projectiles. This makes reactions feel weighty and more deliberate. Remotely activated.
- (M) Heal grenade - gradually heals up to 100 health per player in its radius but use this wisely as it heals enemy players too.
- (M) Rappel anchor - place on a high point to allow your team to attach abseil down or move back up and into buildings.
- (H) Harpoon - shoots a harpoon that impales enemy players, knocking them back and if close to a wall, impaling them there for a couple of seconds. Maybe you could hit multiple enemies with this.
- (H) Tactical ramp - can help the team get up to higher places but also has utility in being used as cover.
- (All) Acid grenade - coats an area in acid which applies a damage over time affect to both players and the environment. It doesn’t deal as much damage as fire or gas but lasts on surfaces for longer and over a larger area (before that area is melted away).
- (All) Ice grenade - coats the area in ice which makes changing direction difficult as it makes the area slippery. Also makes structures more brittle and weakens walls.
- (All) Echo grenade - creates footsteps and gun sounds to lead enemies to the wrong location

Having been reading the game-feedback channel for a while after the recent update.
I have been making a list of my own with changes that I think would help the game be more balanced while still being fun and giving each gun its strengths. Later down the line I’ll do a list for gadgets and such too. But for now mainly guns. Focusing on the guns that I think need a small or big change. 
I would also love to hear feedback from anybody else to see what their opinion about my list is.
Here I go:
HEAVY
SHAK-50 – Currently a bit outclassed by some other guns like the m60, deagles and lewis. Increasing the ammo count to maybe 22 bullets might give it that slight edge in killing enemy’s.
Spear > Make it able to be a throwable projectile within 10m with a chain at the end of it to reel the weapon back in? But not able to reel in players. Instead of the whirlwind attack?
Minigun > Slightly quicker re-spinup time after shooting and reshooting. Not the pre-spin up when fully turned off. But after shooting and it’s still spinning a bit.
KS > Currently the buff didn’t do much. I loved the skill aspect with animation cancels. I think the projectile speed should be a bit higher anyway. And maybe give the gun a few more shells in the chamber. To compensate for shitty aimers like me. Because the gun can be super fun.
MG-42 > I love the idea of this gun. But it would be cool to see it have more map destruction. Maybe a shorter fuse time could also help the gun. As I do not want to see the gun have instant splash damage like the CL40.
Or maybe give the gun mini cluster bombs instead of big shell bombs. ( I'm not so sure about how to make this gun fun to use and fun to play against. while keeping it viable.)
MEDIUM
Revolver > It’s currently outclassed by the Repeater in reload speed when empty and damage at close and longer ranges. Now I do actually think the Repeater is pretty balanced. I do think the revolver should have the option to maybe reload single bullets quickly and also quicker compared to single reloads on the Repeater.
This would give it more DPS over time within a match. Making it more a closerange option with a higher firerate and reload speed compared to the Repeater.
(Also give it more sights!)
Dual blades > Please just buff it in any way. The shield is better in all ways tbh.
Famas > Make the burst firerate a tiny bit faster. Making the burst damage more “burst damage.”
Model > Outshined currently by the Cerberus in reliability and damage.
I would honestly revert some changes with this gun.
Cerberus > Honestly, does way too much dmg for what it is. 120 bullet damage + 31 fire is A LOT. I think it should do 80 bullet damage but 55 fire damage. Which in total would be 135 dmg point blank. Because it’s just too close to the Model in terms of how it plays. Or just lower the bullet damage to 100 and keep the fire damage at 31 and tighten the spread a bit. But as of right now, why would anybody pick the model over the Cerberus.
Hence it would actually make the “Fire shotgun” shoot more actual fire.
LIGHT
93R > Currently outshine by the XP and M11. Maybe making the gun have more damage at closer ranges (under 10m) would fill the gap a bit. (also give it more sights!)
ARN > Currently outclassed by the XP, M11 and even the 93R.
Buffing the dmg slightly would I think make it shine more.
LH1 > Honestly just too weak atm. I think the damage nerf was a bit much. Maybe higher the firerate a bit more to compensate for the lack of damage as of the recent nerf.

Add a flare gun that leave trails like the colourful purple smoke/sparkle if stuck on players and does small burn damage and sparks damage player teammates nearby,leaves more smoke if flare is stationary so it’s also a long range smoke bomb,it’s duel purpose.
Really like the idea of 3 and 5. Love that they both require a lot of careful decision making and would work well with other tools.
For instance that heal grenade would be great to use with defib but you can’t just drop it out in the open or the enemies will use it. And then that harpoon is really interesting, I’d say keep damage low so it’s basically just a zoning tool. Knock enemies off ledges or into traps or just set them up for your team to buzz down. Plus it’d be fun to catch someone out of it with the winch, just throw a light around recreationally.
Devs please revert the KS-23 reload animation cancel! The weapon is sooo fun but not being able to hit combos really really hurts the already niche weapon. Please bring it back to where it was! Or give it 5 more damage for compensation so we can full kill with the combo even if it is slower and clunkier now.

if you want your game to last get those wolves out. Make it so that the mmr is tied not to the account but to the hardware fingerprint. So if they make a new account to smurf, they’ll still be matched up with players from their other account’s mmr
I love the changes to ranked, as it definitely takes the pressure off knowing that a team is 40k higher rank score than you or if they are the 1st seed. I do think that taking away the ability to see how many players are dead on a team was too much. It takes away some of the strategic knowledge of when to push. In reality, you end up keeping trying to keep track in your head how many are dead, but it sucks to get surprised and what you thought would be a 1v1 is suddenly a 1v2.
Add a “Make This Merch” button to everything in the game so people can vote on which cosmetics they want to buy irl.

There is a bug currently where if you lower your resolution to the lowest it can go or just above, it significantly reduces weapon recoil making them way easier to keep accurate while spraying. please fix this
World tour point system needs a rework, getting 6 points for getting into round 2 is insane.
Realistically getting 3rd in round 1 should net you 3 points then second and first should be 5 points
Second round 3rd place should get 5, second and first should net you 10(these all stack with the finals round results) winning final should net you 30 points losing should net you 20
so all in all in round one you come 1st you get 5 points, in round 2 you come first again you get 15 and in the final if you win you get 45 points. ATM the point system just feels meh this is me spitballing btw if you've got better solutions i would love to here it.

A nerf would probably drop its dmg to the point where pike is at so 50s or make the dmg 64 and call it a day
An ideal rework would be making it a hip fire machine by nuking its range and damage, buffing its hip fire accuracy whilst making its damage in the 40s - 50s
Cerberus is very unique it should have its fire damage be the brunt of its damage, every pellet should start fire damage but its overall pellet damage (that isn't from be fire) should be nerfed probably round to less than the model so 10 - 11 per pellet.
Additionally would love for clubs to be expanded upon, we have contracts for clubs i would love to see a leveling system giving players a unique cosmetic for reaching certain clan levels, club contracts aren't the only thing that should level the club up playing and winning with club mates should increase rank (not as much as the contracts but should still impact the level)
Might just be me but playing light without stun gun has been great as it frees up an extra slot and makes it so i can experiment with other gadgets without feeling like a big detriment to my team play (would love for it to either be not a guaranteed pick for high level lights kit or removed completely) i feel this way about defibs as well as they trivialize resing and fights most of the time plus them and movement are instant picks for mediums kits in high level.
If you have any better suggestion about any of the changes I brought up id love to hear them 🙂

Hi. I really love the new store "genre lists" but somehow all of this being in my face and all of the flashy animations in the store window give me a headache. Like it literally make me feel nauseous. Would love to get an setting were you can adjust the image size and animations or just change it something closer to what it was before.
Turret skin idea:
Have you seen those giant turrets that have seats for a person to climb up and fire them manually? Maybe they could include a mini seat in the turrets in the game and have a mini character, maybe one of those ones that are usually in the emotes animations (you know, the ones that look like blue holograms), climb up them and shoot them. Better yet, that the same skin we are wearing at that moment (in mini version, of course) is the one who climbs the turret

BattlePass Suggestion:
Add all previous Battlepasses back into the game by placing into the BattlePass section as a drop down menu. In which you could purchase/select the previous BP's that you either missed out on or didn't get to finish. This would give a lot of extra incentive to keep playing during the season when you've already max the current BP.
The repeater doesn't need a damage nerf, if it needs a nerf then it should only be a range nerf or fire rate nerf that's it, if you nerf it's damage from 84 to anything between 75-84 it only effects it's shots to kill vs med and heavy and if you nerf it below 74 then it's a worse pike/revolver with a slower fire rate and slower reload, we don't need a worse pike.

The Shack is a good weapon, but it falls short on bullets. With 20, you always end up unable to finish off enemies, and you end up dead because you can't reload in time. It should either have a bit more bullets or be balanced with more damage.
day 2 of petitioning for dagger revert. no extra damage is needed. it could have less damage on its left clicks and I and other I think would be just fine if you were more mobile using it and we reverted the angle nerf. angle nerf introduced what I assume is an unintended backstab consistency problem where they should be hitting but they now dont. The nerf was pointless and was done with malice in my humble opinion

really not happy with the state of the game after last season and this one. fell in love with the game because of slow ttk and strategic fights, outplaying others with skills including aim, but not limited to aim. movement, positioning, timing, gadget use, they were all relevant and impactful. these days it just feels like hide n seek where if somebody sees you, you die, there's no time to respond anymore. I feel like this is an effect of removing visual recoil and buffing automatic weapons, used to be able to dodge a few bullets in the clip with good movement, enough to survive and turn a fight around, now even noobs with under 50 wins just beam you instantly. feels like I'm just playing cod (with better graphics). I know the community kept asking for buffs to guns like the fcar and xp54 but imo these guns are so bland and boring they should be on the weaker side just so the game is fun and unique. like everyone is talking about how weak the ARN is, that's about where all the automatic weapons should be imo, and I know thats an unpopular opinion. but they should require some thought and positioning, they should have some downsides and tradeoffs, you shouldn't be rewarded for just locking fcar in every round on every map in every gamemode.

I love the Minigun. It is fun, and extremely effective when used to its strengths. However, its a little jarring how inaccurate it is at mid range. When targets FEEL like they should still be in my effective range, at like 20/25 meters, they live much longer than I would expect due to the gun's accuracy. Obviously the gun should not be effective at long range, but I feel like it should maintain its effectiveness through mid range at least.

Season 6 of The Finals is a major letdown, as it fails to address core issues and implement long-awaited features. The continued absence of basic features like:
Ranked solo queue
In-game profiles
Match history
Personal and community stats
Proper stats on weapons and gadgets
Ping indicator
Direct DMs
Local currency prices (Will now be FORCED by EU)
Netcode and hit registration fixes
Reliable audio
Fair respawn system
...leaves much to be desired and reinforces the feeling that the game is still in an unfinished state.
And remove the fking features items from style editing.
Add more medieval skins and weapons. I would absolutely love a medieval claymore skin/weapon for literally any of the melee weapons

A bit disappointing to see that the price of a pack of item is now just above the price of puchase of multibucks. The derivation set is 4 items, for 1250 multibucks. You need to buy a first pack of 1150 MB for 10€ and an other 5€ or go directly to 20€. Sad to see that The Finals is now doing the same strategy as other game.
(Yes some set were just above 1150 mb before but you got more items in it in different quality).

I love this game so much! Just a few suggestions.
- Bow and Arrow when you and an enemy are face to face fighting in close range sometimes when you let lose an arrow and then die that arrow is canceled out even thou it is meant to hit.
- We need a shirtless skin option please for the fellas.
- Option to be bald
- Nerf range damage on MII and other light Smg like weapons.
- Would be nice to have a long bow weapon so only for long range or maybe a crossbow
- Octopus pet idea please
- More faces
- Buff the new medium weapon it requires way too much accuracy so it's not useful even at long range.

I’m still getting a bug that seems to mostly happen in TDM for whatever reason, where my sonar grenades will make the ping sound when it hits players, but it won’t highlight anyone at all.
Weapons
- FCAR - Min Range 35m > 45m , Max Range 40m > 55m
- XP-54 - RPM 850 > 800
- LH1 - Damage 40 > 46, RPM 270 > 255
- Melee weapons, disable quick melee as it just enables 1shot combos
- Sword - alt-attack damage 140 > 120
Specializations
Charge & Slam - initial damage 100 > 50 but ramps up to 100 over 1.5s
Heal beam - Health per second 40 > 45
Gadgets
- Mines - priming time 1.6s > 2.0s
- Grenades - Add player outline to grenades for visibility
- Thermal vision - its too buggy, often just doesn't work making enemies even harder to see.
- Lockbolt - Lower its HP, unsure of values.
- Jump pad - cooldown 40s > 32s
- Flashbang - Duration 4.5s > 2.0s, often still half blinds even when off-screen.
Gameplay
- Make buildings have more structural integrity so they are less likely to just fall apart.
- Remove open vault bonus.
- Reduce cash-out depo bonus.
- Make cash-out give its money over multiple instances over time,.
Audio
- fix character speech being set to 0 but they still yapping

map idea, this is from call of duty advanced warfare. i believe its somewhere in greece if i remember right. this region has really unique architecture and this map from AW had a lot of good verticality i can see it translating well to this game. my favorite maps are the ones that are damn near scans of real locations so id love to see this region depicted
the most cheaters of any season so far. insane. like obvious ones too. people switching from L to M mid game. two weapons or switching them mid gun fight. idk on this whole "e-sports ready" stuff.

6th season in a row that medium has been prominent in the meta due to primary weapons. You nerfed the support tools repeatedly while keeping the weapons op. If I wanted to play a class with strong weapons, I’d play heavy or light. But unfortunately a medium fully built for support and team util can simply equip the Cerberus and get value from rushing down heavies in close range. What happened to class dynamics???
It’s a general consensus among the community that the latter half of season 2 was the best balanced the game has ever been. And although that isn’t true, the reason why people think that is because the midseason patch nerfed FCAR and the only op weapon left on medium was the model. However, players weren’t aware that the model was op so they used the AKM until early season three.
This is the only period in the games lifespan ever so far where mediums main pick was a weapon that was solid at medium range and generally weaker than L and H in cqc. Medium was STILL meta and STILL fun because the support and util was strong.
Nerf cerberus to start and stop giving medium op weapons. Medium has a net zero gadgets since the game launched. Give medium interesting gadgets and specs instead. The game sorely needs it.
Add a messaging system or add a request to join option because it’s impossible for console players to communicate to other platforms when they’re not in a party or game together
I think complete digital ownership of in game items would be cool... Being able to trade items between players seem cool.
Embark getting a direct percentage per purchase and trade is cool.

Cerberus 12GA needs a very slight damage nerf. Currently, it is capable of doing 151 damage in a single hit (12 pellets that do 10 damage each + 31 burn damage).
A Medium or Heavy being able to do >149 damage in a single hit with a ranged weapon is unhealthy. The only reason it’s healthy Light can do 150+ damage in a single hit with a ranged weapon is because Light has only 150 HP, meaning a Light who oneshots other Lights can have the exact same done back to them. AKA, it’s perfectly symmetrical.
Light versus Medium or Heavy is not symmetrical because of the different HP values. Light cannot do 250 or 350 damage back in a single ranged weapon hit (nor should they be able to). Likewise, Medium/Heavy being able to do 150 damage in a single ranged weapon hit is also unhealthy.
- Pellets: 12 -> 13
- Damage per pellet: 10 -> 9
This reduces total pellet damage from 120 to 117 a shot, which changes zero breakpoints. 120 x 2 was 240, 117 x 2 is 234. 120 x 3 was 360, 117 x 3 is 351.
Burn damage is still 31, so this reduces total pellet + burn damage from 151 to 148. This changes Light breakpoint from 1 (+ Burn) to 1 + QM or 2.
This successfully solves with a mere 3 damage nerf, less than 2% of the original value, the problem of a Medium or Heavy ranged weapon doing more than 149 damage in a single hit, without compromising anything else. All other breakpoints with or without the burn will be the exact same.
- Medium: 2 + Burn, 2 + QM, or 3
- Heavy: 3

this doesn't really make sense. On almost every weapon in the game there's weapons on the other classes that deal more dps, and light is supposed to lose the vast majority of ttk fights, that's a basic part of the class balance.

Ngl I don’t like the new Vegas, it just doesn’t feel like Vegas anymore. I often encounter matches where every player in the match — except for one — has similar K:D (e.g. 2 or less), and one player has an unreasonably high K:D (e.g. 8–12). This ruins matches and seems like either the player is cheating or there’s a horrible problem with matchmaking. Perhaps a system can be implemented in which those kinds of players are removed from the match automatically?

I know it’s difficult because of having to rely on player count but I’d love it in ranked if I (a console player) didn’t have to always play against mouse and keyboard PC. I used to be diamond in ranked top 1000 and now because of PC players, cheaters, and lack of a good third teammate I was gold to plat last season.
They should make it so smoke and gas dont go through walls. But rather expand naturally through the building without going through floors walls

Testing this currently seems to make 0 difference.
Remove thermal vision for assessment like stun gun, it's buggy as hell, and only serves to hard-counter cloak, it's a must pick in ranked, while 90% of people see thermal as a bad gadget, it absolutely dominates against cloak builds with very little counterplay. It kills any flanking or stealthy playstyle, and this game was meant to promote playstyle diversity, not kill it.

It's a niche, Light specific gadget. It falls into the category of niche gadget along with APS turret, Data Reshaper. Very useful to counter some enemies and completely useless if not. Furthermore, It does not mean a cloak user is always at a complete disadvantage against a thermal vision user. Your aim, and your awareness needs to be better as well (Skill Issue).

please add an amethyst gem skin at the end of all the weapon levels (I know embark doesn't have all guns gemmed yet but at some point) Imagine the lvl 15 skin is the gem skin, players will push for that grinding out the weapon to show their mastery, also players can "target" what they want instead of the random gemmed skins every season. As and end level skin make it cost 1 mil xp or have it require "x" amount of tourney wins (like how emerald s3 was). Either way embark wants to add it, I just say this now as a solo player if the gem skins don't interest me I don't grind for the season.
teeny little complaint: because the reload times on the minigun for empty and tactical are both the same amount of time, could we have the option to pick and choose our reload option? I personally dont prefer the "Ripcord Ready" reload over the "Percussive Tap" reload option. I would really enjoy if we had to freedom to pick any of the currently 3 reloads animations for the two reloads states.

Please for the love of god. Let riot shield block sword light lunges and charge and slam. FOR SOME REASON. Dual blades have zero issue doing this. But a riot shield. A movable portable bullet proof wall can’t stop a sword. Or charge and slam. Oh and dual blades can reflect bullets too.. not saying dual blades need a nerf. I’m saying for something universally known to be a defensive weapon. You’d think it would be held to the same standard on blocking all attacks. But nope. Is it just me or do other people feel like the new light gun is underwhelming in all aspects? It feels so close to being good to use, but just isn't. It's super accurate, but shoots too slow. It has good recoil but just doesn't do quiet enough damage. It's hipfure seems a tad but unreliable compared to almost every other gun. Fix one of these three and it would be more usable.

I would love to see a rework for Custom Lobbies designed for Friends and Tournaments. Some key improvements could include the option to extend the timer for 3v3 matches, the ability to add multiple weather effects (e.g., combining two or more weather conditions simultaneously), and more active events like Mega Damage paired with Alien Invasion or, for fun, a 10x Meteor Shower just for shits and giggles. Additionally, it would be great to have the flexibility to change the game mode directly within the private or custom lobbies, without having to leave and start a new game mode from scratch. For instance, I’d like to switch to Quick Cash from TDM without restarting the entire session.

This feedback comes from a player of average skill, but: It's still early in the season, but I believe the ARN-220 landed in an underpowered state both when compared to the other Light weapons and the overall "class fantasy".
- Typically, the class wants to get in close and use abilities to close the gap (Dash, Grapple, etc), but the ARN doesn't have the DPS to compete at that range. To the body within effective range, it has a 40-50DPS deficit, or more, when compared to other weapons like the M11.
- In exchange, it has best in class damage falloff, but can't compete with other poke weapons or other ARs like the AKM (the AKM actually has a lower TTK than the ARN). So it's not good at close range, and it's not good at the mid-range. The recoil helps it compete but it still has a lot of vertical climb, more than just about any other Light weapon, so there is a lot of pulling down even if it doesn't sway horizontally at all.
- Swap Mag doesn't help the ARN very much in extended fights since it still has bad DPS, not that sustained fights are good for Light anyways since you have very little HP.
So, basically:
- If you want to play a good close-range light, you'll play something like the M11, V9S, or Matter.
- If you prefer a little more distance, you'll usually consider the LH1 or SR-84 if you're spicy. The XP also has a little more range but it doesn't quite fit here.
- The ARN trades DPS for range performance, but it's too much DPS and range isn't always what the class is good at. So, generally, the weapon has a gimmick but not an niche, at least not an effective one, since the mid-range niche is done better by other weapons said above.
I did some brainstorming with some friends and settled on:
- A slight DPS increase to bring the overall TTK more in line with other ARs like the aforementioned AKM
- Slight recoil reduction to improve the gunfighting at longer ranges
- Swap Mag 1s > 0.5s which allows it to better lean into a sustained fire niche
- Alternatively, they could consider reducing the effective range (maybe like 37.5m > 30m, in line with other ARs) in exchange for a higher damage increase. This is still great damage falloff when compared to the SMGs, and the higher damage allows for better effectiveness in-line with the class goals
As a whole, the weapon gives Light players a way to support from mid-range, but the class is not good at that mid-range unless they have the DPS to back it up, which is what makes (or made) the LH1 so good and makes the ARN not that effective.
TL;DR:
- The ARN has a gimmick but no identity due to middling performance.
- It takes away the strengths Light has for a role better executed by Medium (mostly poke and sustained fights).
- Number increases or a larger adjustment to the weapon, similar to a rework, could be effective to better align the weapon with the class.
- I love the weapon and I think the idea of two conjoined magazines is a cool idea, but it needs improvements overall based on my experience.

Proposal: Free Unlock Day to Improve New Player Experience & Engagement
A common complaint in The Finals is that VRs become useless once everything is unlocked. While that’s not a major issue for veterans, the real problem is how difficult it is for new players to earn VRs.
Right now, new players face a massive grind just to experiment with different gear. They have to play multiple matches just to unlock a single item, and with the game’s roster expanding, the gap only grows. Meanwhile, experienced players (like myself) unlock everything in a matter of weeks, making VRs feel like an afterthought.
Solution: One Free Unlock Day Per Week
To kill two birds with one stone, I propose designating one day per week where all VR costs are removed—letting everyone try any item freely.
This achieves two things:

Gives new players a chance to experiment and find their playstyle without a painful grind.

Boosts engagement on the game’s least active day (whichever that may be).
This would make The Finals feel more welcoming to newcomers while subtly boosting player numbers on slower days.

you can name them by right clicking on them, it will generate an outfit for every new contestant you make and the outfit you put on them with the name "Class & Number", you can just delete them or rename them

- make it so if you win two cash boxes, you cant lose, why is it that i win 66% of the game and still have a chance at losing, not based off skill but the other team purposely griefing to make sure the 2nd place team loses, this pushes teams that cant win cash boxes or play well through the tournament.

After many games, I can say the weapon SHAK-50 needs 2 more bullets. It’s a beautiful weapon but many times I needed that 1-2 bullets and I didn’t have them 🥲 if it wasn’t all time problem, i wouldn’t say anything. But it is, and also I saw some ppl to talk about it, so I am pretty sure there is a problem in this weapon hahah.

One week of WT filled with og finals insanity. Nukes return as well as goo plane (because cmon, you gotta let us have at least one week of goo plane and mini gun) as well as some other fun edits/buffs.
Also new mid gameshow events to replace the others for this stop. "Dead go boom" but with random effects or maybe even corpses explode like goo canisters. "Max Velocity" to replace low grav, granting double inertia values to all effects (lol hitscan grenades) etc, "Showtime" an event that while active grants bonus cash for emoting after steals/cashouts/deposits, or if you really want to go crazy a gungame style event where you swap to whatever weapon an enemy you land a kill on has. Yes, lights with spear, heavies with dagger. I think that'd be hilarious.
Weapon buffs.
KS-23: now has the scope of from the SR-84 an no dispersion if standing still as well as +25% dmg headshot modifer.
Dual Blades: Chip damage taken while blocking now stores up an acts as a +dmg modifer to your next swing. Also the reload key for dual blades now performs a short dash on a 12 second cooldown.
Dagger: Killing blows with backstab now reset the cooldown of your specialization. Killing blows from normal slash reset the cooldown of gadgets.
I think it'd make for an interesting weekend of Finals action.

Season 6 of The Finals is a major letdown, as it fails to address core issues and implement long-awaited features. The continued absence of basic features like:
Ranked solo queue
In-game profiles
Match history
Personal and community stats
Proper stats on weapons and gadgets
Ping indicator
Direct DMs
End predatory monetization. Improve price transparency, potentially with local currency prices/direct buy, to comply with EU regulations.
Netcode and hit registration fixes
Reliable audio
Fair respawn system
...leaves much to be desired and reinforces the feeling that the game is still in an unfinished state.

Just increase the RPM so we have higher TTK and we dont shoot 15 bullets and have to waste 1+ second of shooting the rest of the mag for the 1 second of reload (when the normal mag reload is 2.45s)

- Medium goes from 1.33 to 1.17
- Heavy goes from 1.90 to 1.68

it would be great to have custom settings in private matches! my friends and i like to play against each other, but the respawn timer on quick cash is way too long for 1v1s. id also like to be able to change the match length/score limit for each mode so that things like 1v1s in TDM aren't so short. keep up the great work in there!

This honestly. The one thing that makes the game unenjoyable sometimes is my 2 light teammates think they are commit. And i get 2 lights 7 out of 10 times.
change ARN's double mag mechanic so that pressing reload once inserts mag 2, no matter how many bullets are left in the mag 1 ; and double tapping reload dumps both mags and reloads em both. its gimmick is already not very well suited for light, where they can get in and out and do tac reloads when needed, so having to magdump your last 5 or so bullets in order to get the speedload is so janky, especially considering by shooting you can't sprint and/or do other important actions like swapping gadgets, interacting, etc.

Match History & Replays
Being able to access stats from past matches (e.g. last 10 games), along with a replay mode, would help players analyse their performance and grow by studying successful opponents. -
AFK & Rank Points
Losing rank points because a teammate quits mid-match (or two!) feels unfair. I suggest removing rank loss in such cases, and even doubling rewards if a solo player progresses despite being left alone. As a last resort, bots could temporarily fill the empty slots — though this isn’t ideal.

Hey Finals Team, I have a few suggestions!
Could you add a crossplay feature exclusively for controller lobbies to the game? Just for the sake of fairness. Aim assist is nice and all, but it doesn’t help me much against an MnK (mouse and keyboard) player with a sensitivity over 9,000.
Of course, some people might try to sneak into controller servers with MnK using tools, so you’d need something to detect and punish those players.
Would it be possible to introduce test servers into the game? In the past, you’ve shown that you care about community feedback. With test servers, we could work together a few weeks before the season starts to identify, address, and fix issues—preferably with our friends on console too!
Could you make the ranking system more transparent?
This season, I played my four matches: I won one, came in second twice, and lost the last one. I got placed in Bronze 1. In Season 5, I performed worse but still ended up in Silver 1. I don’t understand that.
Could you add a Battle Pass archive to the game where players can purchase past Battle Passes? You’d make more money from players who missed a season, we’d get a chance to unlock missed skins, and everyone would be happy.

From what I've seen both in my own experience and from watching a bunch of streams/spectator cameras is that many players are shooting just over the enemies heads, and seem to be unable to bring it back down. (on top of the lack of damage)
Like there's something weird with the recoil pattern compared to everything else where you have to pull down significantly more initially to keep it in check.
And this is coming from someone who typically mains the FCAR.
Playing with the ARN just feels like I'm giving all the enemies a haircut instead of actually landing my shots.

I get waiting for Repeater and Mini to settle. Repeater should be taken down a peg imo, while I think Mini should do a bit more structural damage. I don’t think the ARN buff will do much, personally. One weapon I would like to receive a slight nerf would be the Cerberus. While I am a big fan of Suspended Structures on Bernal, the ones on Monaco I absolutely despise. Other than that, I enjoy the new season a lot! Terry the Turret is a super fun skin too.

I realize minigun is likely a balancing nightmare, as you don’t want to make it weak cause it’s a minigun but also it can’t be too strong cause it’d be oppressive, o feel the best way to balance it would be to limit aiming sensitivity while firing, this prevents minigun players from 360 spraying and it allows players close up do run and dodge the stream of bullets, reinforcing the idea that monigun makes you slow clunky and vulnerable

Instead of being stubborn, you could just swap to deagle heavy and use that health pool to properly counter those mediums in that bad match of power shift. Or you could swap to grapple light to get into their back lines and assassinate them.
You’re extremely arrogant if you think guns like the pike or revolver are “instant win buttons”. They require skill to use. And they tend to struggle in very close quarters engagements.
So instead of moaning over trivial things like the guns in the players hands, just focus on what you can do instead. It’s not embarks fault you aren’t trying to counter these mediums.

Had a BUG last 2 days multiple times. I would cleraly shoot an enemy and my ally would kill him, yet i get no assist. Anyone else having same isssue?
People complain about the Minigun being too weak or say it's alright. How about a buff in 6.2 so we can see if there will rather be more positive opinions or rather complaints about it being op.
1 or 2 damage would already be a massive change, maybe slightly increased structure damage so you don't have to waste 2/5 of your mag just to break a small piece of wall.
Tbh I think the rev up time is pretty respectable, it's just the amount of suicidal lights that jump into your face without any fear or learning from their mistakes and get some lucky hits that annoys me.

Its very upsetting that the model and ks23 are deeply affected by jab cancel. I understand that you want these to weapons to play at a specific range but the lack of jab cancel ends up making them worthless at close range.
Ks23's best specialisation is winch as it enhances what makes the weapon good and makes up for the weapon's weakness. The other specialisations, while are fine picks, do not specifically enhance the weapon in any specific way. Ks23 cannot take advantage of the quick switch to goo gun as it needs to pump, can't take advantage of mesh either well because of pump, charge and slam isn't that amazing of a specialisation and ks23 excels more at pumping out damage in close range without it (not to mention that it can break walls on its own). Ks23 is very much enhanced by winch due to its free one shot with it. However, the removal of jab cancel has really hurt the feel, fun and effectiveness of the weapon at close range and with winch. You can be more disciplined and be more careful with jabs, but it is still just far weaker than other weapons without jab cancel at close range. Not to mention that all of heavy's other weapons can jab as they please and close the gap in health far faster than ks23.
Model is another weapon that's far more enhanced by jab and the lack of jab cancel hurts it deeply. Again, I understand that you would like the weapon to play at a certain range, however, model is simply stuck at one range due to the lack of safe jabs. Again, it simply hurts the feel and fun of the weapon, but also it forces mediums to only play at one range. The lack of freedom to choose between mid range and close range makes the weapon desperately unfun to use when medium does not have the maneuverability of light to quickly reposition himself, especially when medium is most effective fighting with the heavy or another medium.
I think what's most frustrating is cerberus not being held down by the constraints of jab despite being so strong already

Light: 0,40 > 0,38 Shots needed: 5 (1 burst + 2)
Medium: 0,79 > 0,64 Shots needed: 7 (2 bursts + 1)
Heavy > 0,91 > 0,96 Shots needed: 10 (3 bursts + 1)
Why it makes sense:
Embark's idea for this weapon was for it to be a weapon that benefits from precise aim, and going for headshots (source, season 3 patch notes dev note)
Following this thought process, let me give an example:
With these proposed adjustments, if you fire 2 bursts, if only even 1 of those bullets hit the head, you will be able to 2 burst a light (TTK of 0,44)
With this change, body TTK times are also way more reasonable and in-line/ in general very slightly higher/lower with similar weapons like the xp-54
The good part of this weapon is you do alot of damage when actually bursting + the fast reloads, and when combined with the fact that burst weapons are inherently more difficult to use than automatic ones, I find this proposal very compelling.
What it solves:
- very oppressive body TTK towards light.
- lacklustre performance against mediums and when hitting body and headshots
- lacklustre performance against heavies when hitting body shots, but equalizes this by very slightly increasing TTK time with headshots (0,91 > 0,96)
- brings out the headshot aspect that embark originally proposed for this weapon
These would be very simple changes to make, and it would be able to target low, medium, and high elo player groups, which would finally bring this weapon into the meta, becoming an actual competitive alternative to the M11, XP-54, LH1, 3 very competitive weapons in the current meta.

As more sights are being introduced into the game, it would be increasingly more useful to have the practice range have options to switch between sights instead og having to leave the lobby, switch sights and come back in. Just a quality of lifeupdate
honestly, I played with the model during season 3 and 4, and I don't even know what jab cancel is or how to do it. despite that, it was my favorite weapon and it performed really well. So, maybe it's not about the jab cancel, but rather the huge nerfs it got.

The ARN-220 is a weapon that makes no sense in Light but would fit perfectly in Medium if properly balanced.
It doesn’t belong in Light because Light has an average TTK of 0.67s, meaning there’s no time for anything. Right now, it's so poorly balanced that it's a class of either killing instantly or dying instantly. Having a 60-round mag, where you even have to swap mags mid-spray, is a guaranteed death — simply because, with 150 HP you don’t have time to use the weapon’s mechanics. However, it could be great for aggressive Medium builds.
Medium needs more automatic weapons. Right now, it only has the AK-47 and SCAR-H, and they are very different; In fact, they should be even more distinct, like in S1~S2, when the AK-47 was a defensive weapon with a 36-round mag and lower damage, while the SCAR-H was an aggressive weapon for players with great aim, with only a 20-round mag but higher damage. Both weapons were better and more unique back then.
The ARN-220 could fill the gap between these two, dealing more damage than the AK-47 but less than the SCAR-H, being more accurate than the AK-47 but less than the SCAR-H, and having a mag size between the two but with a dual magazine for fast reloads; and the suppressor should be removed since that should be unique to the Light class.
Definitely ARN-220 is simply not the type of weapon Light needs, even if well-balanced and stronger — it just has a mechanic that fits Medium but not Light. What Light actually needs is a TDI Vector with a suppressor, something between the MAC-11 and MP5. It should have an RPM between the MAC-11 (1600 RPM) and the MP5 (800 RPM), that is, 1200 RPM. More damage than the MAC-11 but less than the MP5 (if both were properly balanced…). It should also be more accurate than the MAC-11 but less than the MP5. Most importantly, the MAC-11 should only be truly effective within 10m, the MP5 only beyond 20m, and the Vector should shine in the 10~20m range.

Edit: I get that this is like a “medium range” type of gun, but most of the time as a light you are in people’s faces (unless you use the sniper), at the end of the day the XP-54 still is the better option.

I've actually been enjoying the ARN. I've been using it more as a mid range hit n run weapon. I can use almost a full mag plinking away at enemies from a distance before they figure out where I'm even at.
It was fairly weak though especially in direct fights so I'm glad it's getting a little buff.

also, i think in the optimal scenario, every class should have around the same chance to kill the other class in a 1v1. Yes, teamplay will always be the most important factor, but being dependent on your team to be able to create value is bad. since you can easily create situations in favour of your weapon/spec, you should definitely make it as easy to turn said situations back to the others favour. right know its wayyy to easy to force short range engagements, which is part of why those weapons are dominating high rank. think about that

Revert FAMAS damage back to 24, but keep the rpm at 220.
This would give the famas a slightly faster ttk than the AKM (only if you hit each shot) which to me makes sense as it's midway between precision and automatic
It should further balance the weapon distro for medium so its not nearly 50% akm players but not make the FAMAS feel as oppressive to lights

World tour point system needs a rework, getting 6 points for getting into round 2 is insane.
Realistically getting 3rd in round 1 should net you 3 points then second and first should be 5 points
Second round 3rd place should get 5, second and first should net you 10(these all stack with the finals round results) winning final should net you 30 points losing should net you 20
so all in all in round one you come 1st you get 5 points, in round 2 you come first again you get 15 and in the final if you win you get 45 points. ATM the point system just feels meh this is me spitballing btw if you've got better solutions i would love to here it.

Cerberus is very unique it should have its fire damage be the brunt of its damage, every pellet should start fire damage but its overall pellet damage (that isn't from be fire) should be nerfed probably round to less than the model so 10 - 11 per pellet.
Additionally would love for clubs to be expanded upon, we have contracts for clubs i would love to see a leveling system giving players a unique cosmetic for reaching certain clan levels, club contracts aren't the only thing that should level the club up playing and winning with club mates should increase rank (not as much as the contracts but should still impact the level)
Might just be me but playing light without stun gun has been great as it frees up an extra slot and makes it so i can experiment with other gadgets without feeling like a big detriment to my team play (would love for it to either be not a guaranteed pick for high level lights kit or removed completely) i feel this way about defibs as well as they trivialize resing and fights most of the time plus them and movement are instant picks for mediums kits in high level.

Why do i keep getting into world tour games with only one other player, this keeps happening and it just makes it blatantly unfair, its not like the 3rd person is leaving they just never show up. ive seen it happen to other teams too.

Why does it get an almost zero cooldown 140 damage right click, that can be paired with a dash to expand the range insanely and multi-hit.
There's also numerous exploits like phantom hit, methods to increase the right click lunge distance without having to dash.
There's just so many exploits for it, and in general it's just unfun to play against and is usually paired with users that grief and make the enjoyment for others even worse.
game starts soo slow can't even come back to the game after a random crash until the game ends. Yey lost 1.5k rs in last round of ranked because your game crashed and didn't even start fast enough. + got back at the last minute and spawned other side of the map in soul. Realistically melee weapons are sort of the worst weapons in the game, they only feel OP because they reward you for successfully getting right in the opponent’s face. And sword only feels OP because it’s the only melee weapon that is somewhat viable. And even then you need practice to make it actually viable
Said "practice" being a 5 minute sesh in training grounds about pressing q right after a lunge to go much further than a normal lunge would take you 
I'm a sword player so I might be bias, The sword imo is in a good state, doesn't need a nerf or a buff the reason being is because sword players have to get up close and play smart to be able to actually do something in a game that heavily relies on GUNS that can mow down a light (150hp) EASILY, If you genuinely think it needs a nerf than honestly it really is just a skill issue of you playing bad against them because there are SO MANY Counters to it its unbelievable. How does the ranked system work?
My two friends and I just played our placement matches and finished at different ranks. We all played the games together as a squad. One of my friends got like Bronze 3 or something, around 7500 RS, I got around 22500 RS and our third got around 25000 RS. There was no discernible difference in our stats. We all played similarly bad basically. This feels like a gut punch to our bronze buddy now. He’ll basically never catch up if we keep teaming together.
Sure, last season he was lower ranked than us. But to be punished this bad the next season even though he had the exact same level placement games as us is just cruel.
Anyone else had this happen?

On a scale of 1-10 my experience as a Lv. 7 new player has been....-1
Reasons:

While I understand that a game has a learning curve such as map knowledge, weapon suitability and class priorities; in my humble opinion, "Light" category is the only viable option with "Medium" being somewhat usable and "Heavy" being a waste of space.

The Minigun. Sigh. Epitome of false advertisement, just lacking a court case. I am aware of the recent nerf to the minigun. My question is; why can Light class have high damage stuff like throwing knives, swords, MP5 etc, but Heavy enjoyers can't have a decent weapon? M60 sucks with terrible initial recoil, shit damage and poor rate of fire. Can't say anything about the other weapons yet.

Things like holding a certain area or proper sniping is not a thing. Just running around at Mach 8 or 9 with throwing knives, SMGs and Incendiary shotguns. Not to mention, fire and gas grenades.

Crossplay matches me against absolutely sweaty tryhards so I stick to non-crossplay which has matchmaking times upto 20 minutes.
Finally, I just want to enjoy the heavy class with the minigun which is not possible due to the dominance of light class and heavy class having no good damage weapons.
Your game does not make a good beginner impression. So doesn't Battlefield 2042 or any such game with a steep learning curve. However, I managed to learn BF2042 while Finals seems impossible to learn and adapt to. If I want to tryhard, I'll go play Call of Duty but after a tiring day, can't a man enjoy a decent minigun and have some fun?
The recent buff to tracking dart in season 6 helped me remember it existed, so I went to try it out for the first week and I really do enjoy the constant stream of information that you get from using it. Unfortunately, I feel that in many situations, one can get more information with a well timed sonar grenade. As such, the tracking dart's role as an information gathering tool feels a bit over shadowed in this regard and I feel as though it needs a buff in order to give it an edge in a world of sonar grenades and motion sensors.
I do not think the length that an opponent is tracked for needs to be any longer, as it genuinely feels like I have forever to track my opponents down, but what I think would be pretty cool is if the tracking dart allowed you to see enemies or utility close to the person you are tracking. I'm thinking similar to a sonar pulse, but with out the ability to go through walls and a much smaller range. In this way, not only does a player have the ability to gather information on an enemies whereabouts, but given the information of any mines, turrets, or even enemy teams around their tracked target, they can make an informed decision about whether or not it is worth hunting that person down.
Another thought is to give the player some sort of buff when a tracked target is killed. Maybe a movement buff? So that you can get your kill and exit quickly. Feeds into the hit-and-run tactics pretty well I think.

The new update has its good and bad points, but focusing on the bad ones, the new feature of paying for guns by type is TERRIBLE. I understand it's meant to prioritize crates and make the game more tactical, but... IT'S USELESS. They've taken away the game's essence, now World Tour mode looks like Quick Cash. WHAT IS THIS? Please remove this feature.
So I was dead with 7 seconds left to respawn, 2 teammates alive, only ONE of them die and my respawn timer goes back up to 7 again, how is that a good experience? feels stupid, what a way to force a teamwipe
I mean, kinda but the reason a bunch of people are saying it is because we're also sick and tired of it and organizing together to have ourselves heard is helpful. Personally, I have a WAY bigger issue with invis + double barrel, but I can promise you a ton of these people are not just saying it "because some streamer told them to".
ARN actually feels really good to use after this buff.
- CB01: Firerate nerf; why would you ever play Revolver when CB01 does close range better?
- Cerberus: Overall dmg nerf and 40% fire dot dmg
- Pike: 49 dmg or Firerate nerf
- Sword: Dash should cancel holding alt attacks.
Since tick rate is a dogshit - sword player get an advantage out of it. So when ppl call it OP in general they probably mean that current state around sword is exploit in general. Some points that I have in mind.
- you still can hit people throw the wall and any object
- you can hit people on high ground and below you
- while in lunge you can rotate 360 to get aoe damage
- while you locked with lock-bolt you still can make a long lunge like rope jumping
- you still can skip all animations
- you can hit ppl when you don’t really hit them, it’s possible because there not good job done around lag compensation.
Besides, all good counters for sword like shotguns were nerfed to the ground (model, sa12, ks23) due forbid animation skip and pellet pattern change. So why you still think that is a good state? Sa12 was in a good state but still was nerfed for whatever reasons. Sledgehammer/spear animation skip also was not intended and were removed. People just want justice for all, not nerf in favor one class.

Note: These damage numbers come from patch 1.5.5 and takes into account only body shot numbers. The spear numbers come from its M1 standard attack, not the spin. I just wanted to illuminate that even when Spear has the first shot on another player, how often they lose. Thank yall embark for continuing to do an amazing job on my favorite game and please consider buffing the spear in any capacity!
It's interesting how the sword is "OP" when so few people use it AND are actually good with it. It's probably a case of people not encountering good sword players often and having no idea how to counter it.

I've put over 1600 hours into the sword, been using it since closed beta 2, simply because i find it to be the most fun weapon in the game, and I've noticed a very clear and linear progression of my skill over this entire time period.
Let me start off by saying that i don't use exploits at all. However the only damage related exploit that exists in the first place is phantom striking. Everyone that says that "animation cancelling needs to be removed" is either completely uneducated on sword tech or is actively spreading misinformation, as animation cancelling literally hasn't been in the game for 3 entire seasons. It was removed at the beginning of season 3. I would not be at all sad if Sword had phantom striking removed, as it's already inconsistent and builds bad habits.
While it is true that you don't have to aim nearly as much with the sword as other weapons, the difficulty of strategy, movement, positioning, and teamplay increases doubly. Anyone who puts as much time as it takes to get good with the sword into other weapons will be just as good with those weapons, if not better due to range capabilities the sword couldn't even dream of even at 10-15 meters.
You don't have to bring anything special to counter a sword light. If you don't want them slicing through your team and getting multihits (the best and most essential way to win 1v3 engagements) is spacing your team around a common objective you're defending, or if you're attacking, stagger at literally 7-10 meters apart from each other, not making a clear line the sword user could follow to get a multihit.
This game is a deep strategy game at heart and sword users have it no easier than the rest of you. If anything needs to change, start with removing phantom strikes. Those of us who are good really don't need it anyways.
Appoh sending his entire community to this channel, just because he crashed out or whatever, is so incredibly irresponsible and embarrassing as one of The Final's top creators and someone who hails themselves as good enough to be a "coach". Projecting your personal opinions onto your audience in an effort to shape the game the way you want it is absolutely unacceptable behavior and should not be accepted by this community.

My feedback is on the minigun. In my humble opinion, heavy is already disadvantaged in their movement, making it basically 0 while doing damage with the minigun is absurdly unfun. I'd rather have damage tuned way down, and remove the movement nerf. Or remove the super slow spin up, and replace it with starting to shoot immediately, but slowly, and build up over time. Instead, I can't even come across someone and start a fight without being below half health before I even start firing. A minigun is supposed to feel strong, and I can understand the slowing mechanism, but compounding it with a super slow spin up, and the fact that heavy is already super slow compared to the other classes, you have effectively made a less effective flame thrower, and super nerfed heavy's already really bad movement speed. Fix Minigun.

I'm a sword main but I also use Medium so often. Sword doesn't even need a nerf. We have people running Cerberus and Double barrels who can one shot lights. Glitch mines and dashing lights can confront swords easily. Stop whining with Appoh.

Sword only requires to click a button at the right place at the right time and gets a kill in return. It’s not OP, but just extremely boring for both the user and receiver.

UI feedback, really cool idea for world tour, but you can only see all the cash values per weapon ingame in the first match queue, thats a major flaw leading to confusion and an inability to plan out matches, in short, great concept, poor execution

So we received another World Tour modifier that just should be a permanent game event. Why are they not adding them? The events that we have are pretty bad.
- Love Bomb modifier should return as Dead Go Boom 2.0
- the Halloween Alien Attack modifier should just be default Alien Attack, cause the real one does absolutely nothing in the game
- the new modifier, Risk & Reward should be permanently added as a new event
- Healing Barrel should be added permanently to the game to all modes\

Alright Finals people let me pitch this idea of a melee rework that I think could bring more diversity to our beloved classes
Light: Quick and rapid melees that have short range and do 30 dmg
Medium: the in between of the 3 average range and speed that does 35dmg a melee
Heavy: The big fellas that provide Great range and force but lack agility and speed that does 40 dmg a melee
PS. My damage numbers might be off but you get the gist of the idea embark could possibly make something happen with the thought.

Having goo stun players doesn't fit the game. The movement is already suffering from being server side, and having abrupsions that you cannot get away from slows the game down too much, and ruins the already poor flow of the movement. it should at best bounce off players. If players use flamethrower or sledge still want something to grab people, use the hook that was made for that one purpose. The goo gun should be for defence, not a perma stunlock ON TOP.
Yo, I linked my Embrak ID with steam and xbox. The game said that Xbox gamepass owners get a bonus. I didn't get anything. What could be the problem? Bro I do have the ultimate. Btw they said PC pass is included. I also claimed the benefit inside the Xbox app. But like I said, I didn't get the rewards in steam.
The PC gamepass install isn't detected by the Nvidia app nor can it be manually added or detected by the Xbox games folder. The game runs so much better on the DLSS4 I have to manually enable via Nvidia app, so I have to choose between 25% more frames and 25% more XP. Can you fix this between Microsoft and Nvidia? Between the service that's charging for these benefits, the developers of the game, and the graphics card company that is using your game to sell cards on these features surely this isn't the intended outcome. ^^^Guy above, I think you need gamepass ultimate to see the benefits.^^^ EDIT: I also went as far as to signup for the "Xbox Insiders Hub" and their experimental "Previews" feature for PC gaming which is supposed to let you move installs out of the folder and create an executable file that you can manually add. This feature doesn't seem to work anymore after reinstalling Nvida and Xbox apps and restarting. I just want to use DLSS4 (or model K). I cannot repeat enough this will probably not work unless something changes.

- I don't love the new navigation. I'm sure it's really familiar for console players, but I wish it was customizable for PC to go back to old layout. Also, that little tiny side arrow for scrolling to the right tiles on dual desktop setup doesnt work well in borderless lol.

Add a profanity filter option in the settings.
Revert scoreboard changes, let us see deaths.
