Reduce the damage of the model. I’ve had 2 problems sense beta with the game. The model and the taser. You fixed one so let’s fix the other already.
m11 damage drop off ends at 15m and model drop off starts at 15m, the dude balancing the game looks at a smg and a shotgun and says ALL GOOD 😂

Can we make Heavies GL a little viable please. having to bounce twice and the first bounce going cieling height before dropping is just silly. If you are smart you can try a wall shot , but there isnt walls everywhere in the map. If you back up so the bounces dont go as high the grenades lose velocity and accuracy dramatically and by the time they explode ( second bounce). Can we normalize not building a game around the top 2% of gamers and build it for the casual gamer as it should be? thanks.

Reduce model range to a normal shotgun and turn stun into a button that you can hold to zap and if you let it go it stops zapping, pyro direct hit damage should be 20 not 10, server capacity should be last that that you cut costs on, nothing else matters more

It is cool and all, but I have an idea on how to improve it. See on the left it has the positives and the right the negatives that are somehow opposite to the positive, e.g. "good team coordination" vs "bad team coordination." One of the positives you can list is "close game" and its opposing negative is "crushed by opponents." But what if it wasn't a close game, and I wasn't crushed by opponents? What if instead the opponents were crushed by us. Newbies at level <30 going up against level >60 grinders is hardly a fair fight. Please add an option where I can select "opponents crushed by me."

All I have to say after playing this game long term is that it needed another year in development.

this game is being sabotaged by whoever they recently hired for optimization, because changes are being made its not like nothing is changing but kyoto keeps running worse and worse with every update and now its going into other maps as well. And from the outside of that maybe servers are also running worse with a lower player count but thats more up and down than the concrete client performance. People will start quiet quitting and you'll be left wondering what happened. Atleast revert the "optimization changes" done since the alien update and leave the actual game alone until you have the manpower and time to properly test these kind of changes. And cut cost everywhere else before touching the server capacity.
I know what would be a great idea lets make a non slug shotgun the flagship weapon of the game and the support class whose damage dropoff starts after the smg drop off ends, oh people don't like that? lets do it again in the next season and spend resources porting the game to ps4 while the actual game isnt in a good enough state in the first place, oh people don't like kyoto cause of innumerable issues? lets make do that again as well next season. Even the fucking heavies are running the mortal kombat ability and a shotgun, nobody thinks thats cool or wants to watch any tournament with everybody running non slug shotguns. People arent playing the game more cause of the non slug shotguns being goto weapons at all skill ranges, they are playing it cause nobody liked the CS mode

Quick Cash is only ever getting the same team names - the Shock and Awe, the Kingfish, and the Steamrollers. Why was this change made? I always get the same puns from Scotty and June because it's always the same team names.
Please buff the dual blades. I suggest removing the 50/50,60/60,70 combo and replacing it with flat 55/55 damage slashes, it fixes the light and heavy breakpoints without touching medium ttk (Which is fine though struggles with Model). And or improve the swing speed by 5-15% to decrease the ttk. A 2-5% momentum buff would be great too so we have a chance of sticking on enemies. This would include sprinting/walking but sliding too

There needs to be more advertising in South America. The server population is declining due to the severe lack of players, and playing on different regions with high lag makes an already frustrating game even worse.
Embark, South America is a huge market for games and shooters, especially in Brazil. It’s really sad to see such a great game with so few players.

All seriousness, I 100% agree with a previous post saying that glitch grenade should be able to cancel a revive if the grenade hits the hologram. It'll add some more utility to light and take away the oppressiveness of having double medium in comp bc of the defib. We can only nerf defib so much, so this glitch grenade buff I think I agree with alot.

The difference in Exp and Fans between Powershift gains and Bank It is quite significant, especially considering that Powershift is a very popular mode among casual players and every match usually is a full 15 minutes struggle.
If you ever plan to reintroduce contracts with a high cash payout, please ensure that Powershift wins contribute towards the cash progress. I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to grind money in this mode.

This game needs a KILL CAM, just highlight the enemy that kills you? Would that be so hard. Just a quick flash like a sonar or tracking dart. Also add grenade indicator... Oh and just OVERHAUL all of the sounds in the entire game. I can track my own team 5 buildings over with my eyes closed, but a enemy heavy can sprint up with Akimbo and you hear nothing until they stick the barrel in your ear

in terminal attack characters says cash box instead of decription key in the beggining of rounds
make revolver hip-firing rate faster but increase overall recoil to reduce incentive to quickscope; i find myself quickscoping quite a lot which makes the revolver feel more like a DMR than a pistol. i think the revolver should excel in close range encounters but be difficult to use over long distances, in its current condition it's quite viable even in long range encounters. by increasing recoil, or even just making recoil recovery animation take longer, you reduce its long range effectiveness while (for the most part) maintaining close range effectiveness. obviously this suggestion could use some additional input as this is only coming from one person, but i do think the revolver should be able to fanfire when hipfiring and it shouldnt be so accurate over long distances.

im gonna post this here too, i think the way ruby/diamond works right now is a little silly. IMO it should curve around the rubies (top 500) so 501 and the 500 or so following them is d1 and then all the other diamonds follow after, it feels really weird hitting d3 and then just being there already
I see what they were going for with making it a threshold of rank score to reach diamond but I don't think it makes sense for there to only be 1200 true (non ruby) diamond players like it is right now
practically it would play out about the same except instead of slogging around in plat for as long you can be climbing through diamond a bit sooner since you'll be climbing through like 15k or whatever it was of diamond players first (so basically like s2 rank distribution but the old d1 would be ruby)
granted none of this really means anything when ranked doesn't really work and just matches top players against low rated players regularly anyways but at the very least ranked player retention (where they keep grinding ranked instead of going off to farm people in wt) will probably be better when people will feel more incentivized to farm the diamond weapons since they dont need to rank in the top ~2k to get it lol
also we wouldn't have this weird situation where diamond 1 is rarer than ruby

First things first. I think Kyoto is fire. Great map. Haters gonna hate. Personally I love hiding in bamboo and off hall closets. Second of all, please for the love of God add one more character loadout option to make it 9. And if we can have an outfit closet to save outfits we design to easily switch it up. Hey, maybe even a random camo / skin option for our guns. Got lots of nice camos. But never get to see them. And finally... Please for the love of God fix the weapon wheel on controller. Don't know why it changed to inverted. But it's been eating my lunch. Other than that, maybe cut down on the grind, cause it has left a bad taste in my mouth, and if it's preyd on more, you're gonna lose your casual audience. We like spending our money on something possible. This just makes those who play and do their dailies every day are still struggling.

Light is not strong enough. The TTK is too short in a game that makes more sense having a longer TTK.
- Medium weapons and gadgets are too strong, and light weapons feel weak in comparison. I think M11 could get a recoil buff, and XP could get a range buff.
Honestly should get rid of ranked if world tour is the way that it is. It’s an easier ranked that more people play anyway
Hey Embark, I have an issue.
So I've been playing a lot more ranked to try and shoot for Ruby, and I've noticed a few things. First of all, I've grinded to Diamond in season 1 and 2, and Emerald 1 in season 3 and 4. Currently I'm sitting at Plat 2 with 36,392 RS, so I'd like to think I know what I'm talking about about.

Third partying is still a HUGE issue in high elo lobbies. Most of the time if there is a Diamond/Ruby team the Plat teams will completely ignore them and fight the other plat teams while the Diamond/Ruby team is not only given a free ride to the next round, they're given every opportunity to fourth party while the other plat teams are constantly third partying each other. A solution to this could be hiding other player's ranks until the end of the round so that the entire lobby isn't scared of one team.

The cheating problem is abysmal in high elo lobbies. Most people in Diamond/Ruby are either cheating or getting boosted by other cheaters. Now I'm not talking about the top portion of Ruby, I'm talking about the lower to middle portion, probably around 40k to 50k RS. And no matter how many cheaters I seem to get banned, there always seems to be more. A solution to this would be to IP ban them instead of just banning the accounts. I'm not a game developer, so I have no idea how this would work, but I've seen it done on most other games and platforms, so it definitely is possible. The problem with banning these accounts is that another one can get made within a few minutes, and the cheater can just get back on the game. They don't care about losing their accounts, they care about being able to play at all. If you were to IP ban anyone with cheats detected on their system, it would speed up the process of cleaning out cheaters exponentially, because cheaters would never be allowed back.

SH1900 is so inconsistent, The amount of times my crosshair is fully on there body and it does like 56 damage is insane
Could the meteor shower achievement be reworked to let either alien event work or just buff the event so I can actually see them? I'm half way to my 150 wins on medium and have only seen 2 meteor event. 1 was when I filled in so I didn't have the text about it on my screen, the other was during OT and it only rained on the cashout across map not ours.
CL-40 used to me my fav weapon , now it sucks. That's my feedback. I'm pigeon holed into weapons I hate using because of all the changes made to the CL-40 in NOT A GOOD way. Tired of nerfs

I swear FCAR back then was soooo sweet. I know it was a bit powerful back then, but I think it was nerfed WAY too hard.
And one of the other reasons was that in Season 1 some guns like the xp54 were obviously a bit trash in comparison to guns like FCAR, AKM, Lewis and M60, and light guns were a bit worse by default. So that started all the backlash.
Plus, now the FCAR doesnt have much of a seperate identity, when talking abt it and akm.

"Oh no the other team spawned close to the point we were going." is better then "we waited to put in the cash so they will spawn in the other side of the map." - lopsided spawning, i.e. teams 1-3 spawn repeatedly on same cashout while 4 gets theirs free and possibly even 4th party's to get both cashouts
- overall the flow of matches is worse and third partying is at an all time high despite the changes attempting to address that
- spawn manipulation being fixed with box deposit was only a thing in final round, even if I'm wrong and it was a thing during knockout rounds too, no one waited to do that anyways bc of other teams possibly pulling up. It's a good change, but also mutually exclusive from what ppl are talking about when they complain about spawns this season, so not sure why you mentioned it
- coining during your ongoing cashout defense will more than likely spawn you far away meanwhile enemy team coining during their offense are more likely to spawn on the cashout area
- close proximity cashout spawns, e.g. one building between each other / jank vault vs cashout spawns in general, e.g. a "Y-shaped" spawn where the top of the Y are the two vaults and the bottom line are the two cashouts
- like I said at the top, classic cross-map spawn near end of match still happens especially monaco and especially if that last cashout is yours

you are frankly blind / low macro game sense if you don't find any issue with current spawns

Hi, so i was in a ranked game where a player had a Model 1887, what he did was jump up and down, spam melee and just shoot. I lost 1136 points because of this where i dropped from 33.000 to 31.000, wich makes this unplayable. I play the FCAR that deals quite damage on the medium range whilst doing 24 per round on closer range. But what i don't get is that half of this player base thinks that a 175 per round gun is meta, wich is in hands of 6 in 3 players, making this gun unplayable.

Flamethrower, should have a VERY slight increase in spread (larger area of effect/larger radius)
M32, if it hits a player before it bounces it explodes otherwise explodes after 1 bounce
R .357, more accurate hip-firing
Dome shield, slightly more hp and having a effect that removes invis from enemys who enter
Explosive mine, either more damage or change the count back to 2
Frag grenade, more arena damage
Zipline, can be placed further away making longer ziplines or using secondary click can choose where it begins and ends
travel time? this game is hitscan lol. every other light weapon has better ttk or trade offs that warrant worse ttk. there is just no point in using it
A battle pass change I'd recommend is:
Make each level require the same XP so players can judge accurately if they're gonna finish it or not. None of this increasing XP bs and then hiding the requirements until a player reaches the level. It's kinda devious and anti-consumer tbh.

- Revolver's hipfire is indeed hitscan, but it's not at all accurate. It has roughly the same hipfire CoF as the ARs, but with only 6 shots on low-tick shit servers. You do not want to be hipfiring with the revolver.

travel time exists on 5 weapons in this game lol. Everything else is hitscan. The only upside I'd consider xp to have is ease of use. Xp has worse ttk than the M11, Lh1, and V9S, which puts it at the bottom of the light semis/autos (93r isnt a real weapon). It has worse damage at range than M11, LH1, and similar range to V9S. The weapon competes only with 93r which is a little sad tbh

so i have over 1000 hours of only sniper in this game and had no problem winning ranked/wt matches at all. but i need to beg for a change since the 40 meter nerf is so awful that the weapon is just bad at this point. every enemy with a shooting weapon is taking a 1v1 above 40 meter range because the only thing they need to do is strafing a little bit and i have no chance to hit them in any way. for the people out there that dont know what 40 meters are. you know the yellow building on kyoto where a zipline goes between the building and a jumppad leading to the forest area. YES, if i stand on the roof of the yellow building, I CANT HIT SHOTS ON AN ENEMY AT THE JUMPPAD. dear developers, pls go in a private match on kyoto, go on top on the roof, and tell me that this isnt complete bullshit. at the hanging structures event, no matter the map, i should have the opportunity to hit peaking enemies as an attacker, but i cant, and the enemies can laser me with hitscan weapons at really any range. then there is the thing with visual recoil of the sniper while scoping when you get shot.
ANY WEAPON IN THIS GAME DOESNT GET USELESS IF YOU GET SHOT BUT THE SNIPER DOES. all this and then the fact that a fckn m shotgun has such an insane range and ANY OTHER GUN outranges the sniper just makes me wanna cry so bad. 😭😭😭

LH1 & V9S are far more punishing on misses, LH1 requires crits for better TTK & V9S is only a little better, owing to its greater difficulty. 93R isn’t nearly as bad as claimed either, just needs QOL.
sword can get very annoying with the lunge but is still able to be countered if u think before engaging. dagger is just straight up not good and doesnt need a nerf or a buff for that matter. Its in a spot where it is a pain in the ass to use bc back stab requires u to hold instead of just clicking and the left click does abt 4 damage. but if it gets any sort of buff itll be the most aids thing to fight. If the dagger isnt able to 1 shot it shouldnt be in the game bc if u need 2 hits its impossible to use. Play with the dagger for more that 5 min in a lobby with people who know how to left click and u will find out that it is not good. before u say "oh light main clearly" i mained medium season 1 and heavy through open beta till now. I play light for fun in quick cash bc they r fun to use when u just want kils and dont care abt winning

93R naturally favours crits and the TTK disparity isn’t so strong if you’re capable of hitting them. With some QOL/minor ROF it’ll be fine.

This game is so fucking boring nowadays. im plat and i play against a team with 3 top 10 ranked players in the world and i get -500 if i dont get to the second round against 3 top 10 in the WORLD. and a couple matches later im playing against only bronze and i spend an hour of my life to win the tournament and get only +200 points. its like fighting mike tyson and if i lose i need to give him 1 thousand dollars or fighting a newborn baby and if i win i get 0,01 cents. im sick of either playing against the best team in the world or playing against a full lobby of people who is 2K elo. just let have a setting that lets me play against my rank.

The Goo Gun for heavy Is very underutilized and I really think this weapon could be more effective if it gotten a rework in a way that could make it more powerful in defense. THIS IS ALSO A ROUGH SKETCH IDEA. So take it with a grain of salt.
Goo Gun Rework
When using shooting the Goo Gun, the goo will have a shade of color to them representing your team or an enemy teams color depending on who shot it.

With this in mind, the goo that is shot from a Goo Gun will have 10% - 15% more health for more stability in defending.

When shooting at a player with movement, via Charge & Slam, Evasive Dash, Grapple Hook, etc. It will not stop the specializations ability, but instead slows them down drastically.

+ When the goo is shot from the Goo Gun it will have a shade of color to it representing the team who shot it, making it easier to tell who its from and knowing that the goo will have more health.

I suggest removing the 50/50,60/60,70 combo and replacing it with flat 55/55 damage slashes, it fixes the light and heavy breakpoints without touching medium ttk (Which is fine though struggles with Model). And or improve the swing speed by 5-15% to decrease the ttk. A 2-5% momentum buff would be great too so we have a chance of sticking on enemies. This would include sprinting/walking but sliding too

And can the community stop complaining about lights the whole purpose of the class was to be a high DPS low health class, the entire purpose of the class is to be able to push fights but have to be watchful of your health. Medium is the good middle, okay DPS okay health the whole point of medium is to be able to push fights and be a little less reliant on stealth and support the team with gadgets. Heavy is the on the farther end, really really high health but with weapons that either A. Are designed for close combat, or mid range fights, the whole purpose of the heavy is to be the front line of the fight and bring the team up behind them.
The current balance of the game has been thrown way off course because Embark keeps listening to the community and giving them what they want. This has led to the player base pushing the intended idea of the light class onto the other two classes.
This is a fair thing to want because yeah light has such little health but that was the original point. Light can do the big damage but can also be taken care of by the other two classes.
Instead the whole idea of light has faded out of favor and the developers are just trying to keep the community happy but they really need to put their foot down and actually have a meeting about each class and it's alignment within the game.
And watch I'm gonna get flamed for my opinion when really all y'all like is smashing out kills and not having to try to be good. People need to put their egos away and actually be constructive when it comes to balancing because let's be honest a new player joining the game right now is very likely to drop it within a week.
Tldr; class alignment isn't what it was intended to be and needs to be properly addressed in order to ensure the long lifespan of the game

Man, I think the emerald grind is a bit too much atm. I maybe started my grind in the later 3rd of the season and it definitely feels impossible at this point.
It's just a linear progression track. You've GOT to add more ways to progress on it. Free it from one single mode. It's like a battle pass without any substantial rewards until the bonus pages. I think the most I can make it to is diamond because it takes so long.
Please improve on this for next season. Incorporate more modes into world tour. Maybe have different modes for different rounds, different maps, just anything to make it more interesting. I don't only want to play casual cashout 24/7

The sonar things are all pretty weird. High range, low recharge, quick pulses, but more than that, they're pretty annoying to look at even to your own benefit.
I mean the effects are so strobe-ish and make it impossible to hit shots if the enemy is already in your line of sight.
I think they're fine I guess, but unless it's a night map I don't see the usefulness

so i have over 1000 hours of only sniper in this game and had no problem winning ranked/wt matches at all. but i need to beg for a change since the 40 meter nerf is so awful that the weapon is just bad at this point. every enemy with a shooting weapon is taking a 1v1 above 40 meter range because the only thing they need to do is strafing a little bit and i have no chance to hit them in any way. for the people out there that dont know what 40 meters are. you know the yellow building on kyoto where a zipline goes between the building and a jumppad leading to the forest area. YES, if i stand on the roof of the yellow building, I CANT HIT SHOTS ON AN ENEMY AT THE JUMPPAD. dear developers, pls go in a private match on kyoto, go on top on the roof, and tell me that this isnt complete bullshit. at the hanging structures event, no matter the map, i should have the opportunity to hit peaking enemies as an attacker, but i cant, and the enemies can laser me with hitscan weapons at really any range. then there is the thing with visual recoil of the sniper while scoping when you get shot.

this should be an option, you should be allowed to choose a set of your preferred combinations in solo queue, but for queue times the default option should be all compositions, like I dont want 2 lights on my team in any scenario unless I'm also running light. People could also just troll and change their class after the matchmaking

I was 2nd seed team not even first mind u, and I only gain 500 points for second place. First place was only awarded 900 - not even 1000 which is ridiculous considering I've been losing well over 1300 for 5th and 6th and even losing 500 for 3rd place.
Indeed, this gimmick where it turns into a projectile at 40m is dogshit. It should just go back to hitscan. If they want to make it weaker at some ranges, then they can give it proper falloff instead of turning it into a projectile.

Hello, I really like playing finals videogame, unfortunately i am simply too good for regular cashout ranked, however: everytime i play powershift i feel challenged and engaged in the videogame, so if you developers could pretty pretty pretty pretty please add ranked power shift that would be sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool
falloff is also a too big nerf, adjusting the hitscan range is the only thing you can do to prevent across the map kills (>140 meter which you could still argue about) but everything under that range is still part of fights which is not to debate.😤

I use a lot of melee weapons because I enjoy them.
All but one of them have their uses and can feel good once you get good at them. To no ones shock its the Dual Blades for the Medium class.
It tries to be a more offensive version of the riot shield with its small damage blocking area and ability to reflect bullets combined with its faster two hit swings.
But after playing it for most of season 4 to give it a fair shot it is no where near as affective as any of the other melee weapons even in the most opportunistic moments of 2 lights stuck in an elevator with you.
At least with the riot shield you can get those 2 hits off with ease where with the sword you need to get three hits off. Something that isn't easy because no one stands still shockingly.
The only real buff it needs is to.
- Make the sword swings hit at the same time.
- Enlarge the area that you can reflect damage from.
- Allow sprinting while swinging with only this weapon.

A heal pistol should be added, something like:
2 charges 15 cd, fires a single dart with a little reload animation afterwards. Each dart on contact with a teammate immediately starts regeneration with a 1.5x (maybe lower) multiplier, the multiplier is removed if a gadget is used or a gun is shot and regeneration is stopped as normal if you get shot. This would give medium the pattern of having a similar specialization and gadget (light has cloak and cloaking bomb, heavy has mesh shield and dome shield, medium used to have recon nade, and they removed wallhacks). This would give medium a way to have that "top up post fight" gameplay that is separated from heal beam, which allows you to nerf heal beam harder. To Nerf heal beam, I would:
Further reduce its range, and heavily reduce its maximum healing (I would say to about 50-70) and maybe nerf its cd to be higher but buff it's heal rate to about 20hp/s. This would make it the mid fight heal option, able to quickly add health to a low teammate, but due to its low heal cap you don't get the undying medium as even if 2 medium feed medium, the one being healed would of have the same amount of health as if he just picked heavy, discouraging heal chaining due to the low amount of health given

Ive been thinking about a good buff for light that doesnt involve nerfing the other classes . Making light a tiny bit faster than it already is can help make everything about the class feel better. I find myself in situations where the medium class can easly catch up to me without some sort of utility usage which is a bummer.

I feel like the way that these devs think is that
Skill < Weapon choices
Because I decided to use my favourite medium weapon and all around decent gun, the famas in a game of ta. I had slight lag but managed to dominate… on everyone other than one kid who would do nothing but hip fire with the m11. The m11 is far and away the best light weapon, and despite me using guardian turret, mines, and frags. I was still unable to get a higher combat score.
Here’s what would happen in these situations:
- I see him first and kill him before he has a chance to react
- He sees me and he kills me by pure hip fire
- He snipes people with a close range weapon (once again the m11)
These should not happen or at least not 1, and 3 or 2 shouldn’t be that prevalent. M11 is an introduction to light and should be easy to use but not THAT much a better than any other light weapon. Please lower the m11 rate of fire. Also if I use a weapon as good as the famas, then I should not be able to kill anyone before they have time to react. Imagine I was using a better weapon like the fcar or akm and how well that would do. And the model is a high skill weapon but shouldn’t be able to kill a light from 10 meters away. I’m not here to complain about lights, I’m here to complain about the m11 and majority of medium.
This is what should happen:
medium: lower damage, higher support potential, and more team movement options.
Light: give more equipment to breach defensive lines like the breach charge, thermal bore, glitch grenade, stun gun, cloaking device, or grapple.
Please consider these changes. 🙂

Your opinion is instantly revoked because you said model is high skill. Adding that the light player killed you with hip fire has nothing to do with how good the gun is.He can also aim down sights and the result will not change. I dont think you understand that light needs the low ttk because its so squishy.If you ever wanted to make light weapons balanced between each other, you should bring all the weapons to m11 level since its actually viable. Lowering the rate of fire to the m11 will increase the ttk by a huge amount, making the gun absolutely useless. Experiencing all the light weapons to at least lvl 3 will give you a good idea on how much harder the class is compared to heavy and medium.
Only thing I agree on is that medium shouldnt be able to kill a light that fast with the model at that range but that is a gun issue that will be adressed

Can't agree with you there. I just played a couple of round with a light build, mostly M11 and it's still way to easy. That's why I came here to see what people think... Either you use cloacikng or dash with M11, use get in or camp in a corner, someone comes in you unleash the full 40 round mag in about 2 seconds and run away. Yes you are squishy, but you are faster, have many options to leave conflict and the reload speeds are much faster. Any non-melee weapon on the Heavy takes more time to reload than any Light weapon to kill you. And with amounts of lights, especially in non tournament modes, you basically live for one reload. The worst is that besides being so low effort, the lights use The Finals uniqness the less.

Yeah mostly true. The light weapons should be buffed, and the model isn’t always high skill but if I can kill a light before they can move then that is a problem. Light weapons should get buffs, mediums and heavies should get damage needs, but also the main reasons why people hate medium right now is because of the high damage and addressing it with nerfs to the healing beam.
Lights should deal good damage, be high skill and be able to get past something like a mesh shield or triple dome shield. Mediums should deal a smaller amount of damage though still being able to fight back, and having great support and team movement like the jump pad to help heavies. Finally the heavies should have great protection like the mesh shield, and defence like the goo gun.
All of these weight classes should have things specific to them. I think that we can come to a conclusion that the devs have blurred the lines between these classes and they should focus on their specifics and not raw damage to get by.

there are currently a frustration in res chaining esp in MMM meta, even if you kill all but one medium that medium can just res a guy and that guy res another and now we are back to 3v3. undoing all our hard earn kill

when you get defib you spawn in like if you get team wipe expect much much closer (form 300 meter to 200-100)
or:
make the Resed person have 0 cool down, their heal beam is over heat, defib 0 charge, frag 0 charge, ect ect

My opinion on this season so far:
I’ve played about 500 hours this season, mainly in Ranked, hovering around Plat most of the time and frequently going up against Ruby stacks and Diamonds. I’m a dagger onetrick (with occasional runs using akimbo heavy or a standard medium loadout).
Here are my biggest issues with Ranked this season:
Ruby stacks vs. low Plat players
Playing as a 31k Plat against coordinated Ruby stacks made the experience frustrating. Even when we tried doubling cashouts to create more chaos and balance the fights, we often lost hard. Ruby players were constantly avoided by all teams, and third-partying turned games into a mess. I get that Ruby players have long queue times, but to fix this, I’d suggest hiding ranks in matches so Rubies don’t get avoided all the time.
Awful spawns
The spawn system this season was a mess. After vault fights, the losing team often spawned right next to the cashout, giving them a positional advantage. This frequently led to them denying the plug with stuns, winches, or glitch traps—just felt like complete bullshit.
The Model
While the Model can take skill, it’s way overpowered in its current state. Getting two-shot as a Light/Medium QM, one-shot, or three-shot as Heavy is just too much damage. Reducing its damage to 110 would still keep it viable, but its effective range should stay within quick-melee range—not 20 meters.
The meta, otherwise, feels stale. Shotguns dominate, with medium players mostly running the Model and occasionally the Famas. Heavy players stick to charge, winches, or shotguns. Light players run the DB, auto-shotgun, or occasionally the M11. Every other weapon basically gets no play. (Sword playrate took a hard dive, in my opinion.)
What I’d like to see:
Buff weaker weapons.
Make the 93R as strong as throwing knives and let it three-shot mediums—or something wild like when the Pike was busted at release.
An experimental queue.
Add a test mode where they roll out experimental patches, like adding 1 damage to the XP54 and seeing how it performs. This could run during specific times with an in-game feedback feature or rating system—something other games already do.
Buff dual blades and spear.
Make them more viable and improve hit registration or give better visual representation for melee attacks overall.
More event clothing.
I’ve unlocked everything from the wheel, and while the rewards were neat, RNG-bound rewards suck. Bring back systems like the old High Noon or Steal the Spotlight events.
More map events.
High Rise Fortune Stadium or Up Down Left Right Kyoto were fun. A new map is great, but I want more map modifiers—like Skyway Stadium, which has suspended structures and Fortune Stadium chaos.
Progression improvements:
New progression skins past level 8.
My dagger’s been stuck at level 8 for months. I’m sure others feel the same about their favorite gadgets or weapons.
Infinite rewards after the Battle Pass.
Once the Battle Pass and sponsors end, give us something more to grind for—player cards, badges, or season kill counters (like Apex). For example, I’ve got Holtow Rising Star at level 40 or something, but there’s no reward for progressing further.
Task-based progression skins.
Borrow the amethyst progression skin idea for level 10. But instead of another XP grind, make it task-based—like headshot challenges or other specific goals.
Final thoughts:
I’m really hoping for something exciting next season. This season had the Halloween wheel, some pumpkins, and minor WT events—and that’s about it. I love this game and don’t plan to stop anytime soon, but compared to Seasons 1 and 2, this one felt dry. And don’t even get me started on the disaster that was Season 3.

But the main problem is the amount you gain each round, is not that much and the dailys become neglegible after some time.
Hopefully there's a xp/fans event like there was last season. If they start it up tommorow I can just binge the finals this weekend and finish it all up. I'll have to sweat my socks off but still.

A heal pistol should be added, something like:
2 charges 15 cd, fires a single dart with a little reload animation afterwards. Each dart on contact with a teammate immediately starts regeneration with a 1.5x (maybe lower) multiplier, the multiplier is removed if a gadget is used or a gun is shot and regeneration is stopped as normal if you get shot. This would give medium the pattern of having a similar specialization and gadget (light has cloak and cloaking bomb, heavy has mesh shield and dome shield, medium used to have recon nade, and they removed wallhacks). This would give medium a way to have that "top up post fight" gameplay that is separated from heal beam, which allows you to nerf heal beam harder. To Nerf heal beam, I would:
Further reduce its range, and heavily reduce its maximum healing (I would say to about 50-70) and maybe nerf its cd to be higher but buff it's heal rate to about 20hp/s. This would make it the mid fight heal option, able to quickly add health to a low teammate, but due to its low heal cap you don't get the undying medium as even if 2 medium feed medium, the one being healed would of have the same amount of health as if he just picked heavy, discouraging heal chaining due to the low amount of health given

S5 new gadget and specialization ideas:
Light gadget: poison dart, shoot the enemy with one of 3 darts, which deals 10 damage instantly and 50 over time, but the poison damage stops if the light gets hurt. Also, shooting a teammate instead heals them for the same amount. The 3 darts can be stacked, but they’ll have a small reload between shots.
New medium gadget: immunity bomb, a flash of light in a bomb that will make those invincible/more resistant to all statuses for a short duration (glitched, stunned, poison, fire, basically anything not an explosion, melee weapon or bullet), maybe give small damage resistance to weapons too (probably not), only one charge though
New light or medium specialization(idk which one would fit the class better): warriors mask, put on the mask to mark any enemies automatically in sight + 2 seconds after being out of sight and have greater aim assist or damage or move speed, but your head will emit a glow/sound cue to warn nearby enemies and has a long cooldown +short duration to balance it
New heavy gadget: bear trap, has 75 health, any enemies walking over it gets stuck for 3 seconds and damaged for 50

Good afternoon, to whom it may concern... I've been playing since season one, from the very first day, and the issue with people using cheats has completely ruined the game. It went from having 100,000 daily players to 14,000, and I'm not surprised. It's honestly not worth playing anymore. I have 5,931 eliminations and 5,065 deaths, nearly a thousand matches played, and honestly, once I finish completing the Holtow sponsorship, I’m done with this game. At least for a very long time. It's unplayable... It's frustrating to see level 30 players killing you with two shots as a heavy, and to keep getting matched with the same players over and over again.
Anyway... goodbye The Finals. I don't think this game will last until the end of 2025 because the developers are doing absolutely nothing to fix these issues. And let's not even talk about how the cash in the Power Grab mode doesn't count for missions, forcing you to play more boring modes. In short, thanks for wasting my time...

I have a relatively complex request (or at least I think it is, I know nothing about modeling in games, only in blender and stuff like that), but I noticed with the Ospuze Cold Mask, it's the same model as the Special Ops Helmets, and the Noctovantage Helmet. But, with the help of the Hedge Hunter Bundle, I get to see how it looks with a helmet, and there's no clipping issues, there's no texture clashing going on, so I just kind of want to ask if it's possible, can the Ospuze Cold Mask be made a facewear? It would look amazing with the new Ospuze headset, or the Splatter Blitz Cap from the paintball bundle. Or just any helmet that doesn't have some kind of mask attached, the Shinobi Wrap is a great example, it's a facewear and looks amazing with helmets and the Ospuze headset, but the Ospuze Cold Mask can't use facewear, so it takes up both slots, when it's completely possible for it work with helmets and headsets, and potentially even hats, like the Ospuze Comms Hat, or the beanies, like the Causal Beanie, all these I tested out with the Shinobi Wrap, but in the end it's just a cosmetic request and it would make me very happy if this could be done. Thank you for hearing me out if any of the design team sees this. Here's a couple screenshots as examples for my "research" lol-

Am controller never played MnK and I have no issues with getting kills but I see your point with the visual recoil
If you're not in First place, then you should not be guaranteed moving on. The game is better as a whole when last minute steals are possible. If you don't want the risk of getting knocked out at the last second than you need to be in 1st place at the 2min mark. "Skill Issue" is disingenuous because you know as well as I that the 1st seed team doesn't always win.
In general, the matches feels a lot less close than they use to in earlier seasons
A couple of changes I thought of for light:
1st maybe add a stim gadget which quickly regenerates health for them and can be used on a teammate instead. This would make the class a bit more forgiving and add a bit of a team play element which feels needed for the class.
2nd maybe a slight buff to their cash out steal speed, something subtle maybe 10% just to incentive objective play
That doesn't make sense at all, if there's such a gap between scores it's for a reason; the bottom teams failing to keep up and play objectives effectively.
I don't get why low-performing teams should be given a free crutch for failing to plug or cashout more than once especially with the new plug meta

This game is about risk honestly it is a skill issue @mild veldt if your not good at stealing then its a skill issue if your not first to the cashout its spawn, but what i do is try to cut the off or camp the obj and place it in or just steal, noone should have crutch for not adapting and getting better, and honestly i miss the team wipe punishment where it took so much from your cash i think that was peak finals..
And it isn't safe for first place someone will get near the same amount of money and sometimes it comes down to who has more kills

To be honest, the game has already strong discrepancy in skills, and if it comes to a point to absolutely no way to comeback then there's very little incentive to continue.
It wouldn't hurt to have a comeback system so the game is never too one sided, as long as you persist you might have chance to win.
Some games already have implemented some sort of system so games doesn't feel too stompy but still competitive, is just that The Finals begin the way that is with such terrible matchmaking would help make matches more interesting.
And I'm not saying to just hand over win towards the last place, but a away to never make the game safe for anyone.

I will repeat myself only one more time, the game does not have a huge amount of players to balance out properly the skill gap. If it's this discrepancy towards the two other teams versus the third and last, then they shouldn't be paired at all with them. But there's not enough numbers for that, so having some sort of system to help the last places wouldn't feel out of place.

forced myself to jump on to do my dailies an in attempt to finish the battle pass since my interest in this game is waning due to out of touch devs, 2 games in a row with potato team mates, then I get a bug where it wont let me steal the cashout even though im 2 inches from it with no obstructions, and that's as much patience as I have for this game today.

The final cashboxes are worth 15,000 and 22,000, more than enough to comeback by clutching or teamwiping through 3rd partying last second. Even if the scores arr absolutely hopeless, if you manage to cashout both at the same vault it's an ez win even against sweaty teams
At this point having bad teammates is quite literally skill issue or matchmaking issues, and shouldn't require making massive fundamental changes to the core mechanic of the game just to accomodate rival teams having better tactics and aim lol

I don’t think it’s, I don’t know if the right word is fair or accurate or something else, but, comparing destruction capabilities of a main weapon versus a gadget doesn’t really work.
The thermal bore might be niche, but it’s a gadget; you can keep it in your reserves and swap it in and out, depending on the map or how much you anticipate needing it, without sacrificing too much in terms of your playstyle.
On the other hand, swapping out your main weapon, fundamentally changes your playstyle. It’s a big deal.
Aside from that, the ks isn’t even that good at destruction. It takes multiple slugs to destroy anything, it has a slow rate of fire so it takes a good amount of time to destroy said thing, and then the reload time is asinine. So you spend all this time destroying something and then you are incredibly vulnerable while you take 3 business days to reload.

The game overall has turned into a rock paper scissors game with too much distance between classes and gadgets that don't blend in together. I think the classes are way too different from each other in order to balance, otherwise the game is going to stay as a braindead ability game. Spawn positions are horrible, there are way too many instances where teams wind up on a single cashout instead of the other, or spawning right next to a team.
Audio pollution in this game is probably the worst I've ever experienced since Apex Legends. I lost multiple games because the game couldn't even alert me with sounds you should be able to hear in every game. Ex: A whole team running right below you
- Footsteps are basically close to none
- Sometimes gunshots from enemies becomes silent, making it more difficult to gather information using sounds especially in a gun fight
- Sometimes important sounds like cash out alarms don't play
- Sometimes gunshots continuously play despite the player being dead
- I can't even hear my own gunshots
Classes and balancing:
Insta kill elements(In lights and heavies mostly) in the game is way too much. The concept of lights need to be figured out because it's a balancing hell for you guys. The class needs more survivability and not kill speed. Increased kill speed only will have frustration on the side being killed and less dependent on the individual's skill.
Heavies have decent abilities that seems fair, but charge n slam is way too broken. Reduce the damage a little bit. The hit registration for melee weapons are weird, same for charge n slam.
MMM meta with the model needs to be fixed. There is zero creativity and fun involved to use the most bland class in the entire team. Actually, there should never be a meta where only a single class is used in a team.

Good point but one small mistake , I did not mention balance of the weapons you know? I'm fine with the one tap meta for now. "Fair" meant team ¹ has to play almost an hour barely gaining 300-550RS but if they lose 2nd round they will be rewarded with a -700

Simply put, the game needs a buzzer beater delay on the zero count.
When the clock hits ZERO, the game doesn't end until the cashbox hits the ground/wall/contestant unless the vault lands in the cashbox
I understand this would create a HUGE skill gap between players who can throw the box far and accurately and those who can't.
The point would be so if the vault's flight is interrupted in any way the game is OVER

Embark, I respect this game with utmost passion and I have slowly started to lose my absolute mind when it comes to how bad every mode has gotten. I play in matches that have bows,snipers,swords, and daggers behind every corner I turn to see as if I’m playing a match of cod on the cdl level of things. Regular modes have been fun and I love playing powershift and cash out just most of the stuff I usually see in game start to make my teammates immediately leave after getting hit for one shot or if not that absolutely demolished by a full team stacked together like a couple of friends celebrating a wedding all on the same day. Please embark fix your ranked play and season pass is surprisingly amazing these pass few seasons I can’t lie🙂↕️

so i've been experiencing this bug in the game where it sets me as the default M class for some reason and just recently some of my matches i've been disconnected and kicked mid fights, i would reconnect and play out the tournament with the God awful default M class and then get a temporary suspension bc i apparently dodged...anyone has any tips? or can help me? or is this happeneing to a lot of people?

Embark never going to manage with people partying up with cheaters to get boost rank. Here's proof. Actual cheater(which shooting SA with full choke and through shield) doesn't appear on leaderboard, but those two fucker who healbeaming that cheater still alives on the leaderboard. This is pretty common rank match in asia and I'm really sad embark do nothing about this kind of action. People, Just make a bunch of New account and use a cheat to boost your RS because you'll get diamond skin anyway. They never going to give your account ban or suspended. Why do you use cheat? a one time account will do everything for you and get 7 day ban, not your account. This is honestly so sucks. You, embark, please do something about this. make a permaban for these kind of people too.
They never said the challenge is suppose to be easy or casual oriented, altho that isn't really a hard one.
I think the XP/Season Duration is overscaled this time around. The last two pages are a little absurd. I average out more or less around 1.5 hours per day according to steam, I finish all dailies, and all circuit contracts. In previous seasons I have been able to finish every level with little issue, however in this one I am barely able to finish the 1st bonus page, despite not changing my play habits at all. I think it's a fair ask that I should be able to unlock everything offered considering I play consistently every day, complete all contracts, and already paid upfront for the pass. I would appreciate another catch-up xp event to help remedy this mistake, and hopefully next season will be better balanced.
Some other feedback for contacts:
- The "Stop enemy from stealing cashouts" needs a looser requirement. The circumstances to make this happens are unlikely and requires the enemy to act a certain way, which gets harder the higher you climb in skill (most players immediately stop attempting a steal when shot). The only realistic way to trigger this one is to use the stun gun, and I personally don't enjoy light. I think it would be better as a team objective, and only require killing an enemy that you recently damaged while they were attempting to steal your cashout. (AKA, you stopped them from stealing it and put them down.)
- The $1,000,000 can only be earned through specific gamemodes. This is a little strict and limiting for players, especially since it's on the last page of circuit. This is a gameshow about winning money and all of the game modes award cash. If this returns next season, let us earn in a larger variety of ways.
Please buff the dual blades. I suggest removing the 50/50,60/60,70 combo and replacing it with flat 55/55 damage slashes, it fixes the light and heavy breakpoints without touching medium ttk (Which is fine though struggles with Model). And or improve the swing speed by 5-15% to decrease the ttk. A 2-5% momentum buff would be great too so we have a chance of sticking on enemies. This would include sprinting/walking but sliding too. Buff their range

That doesn't matter because if my team is behind most of my teammates just give up. No one ever wants to "steal both vaults and put them in the same cashout" so that option is virtually non existent.
Besides, if the match can get decided at the halfway point than why even have 4-5 extra minutes? Why draw it out?
Also, shouldn't the matchmaking be avoiding matches that are going to be super one-sided? Full match domination should be a rare occurrence, not so regular that two teams in one match dominate. This game is considerably better when its chaotic and fun, not a meatgrinder

It's not a fundamental change, I'm literally advocating for part of how the system use to work.
To be clear, the idea is that FIRST PLACE is (almost) always safe. If you are in first place at the 9min mark than you have proved you are the best in the lobby and unless you do something really stupid you are going to move to the next round. However, SECOND PLACE should never be safe, even until the last 10 seconds. 3rd and 4th should ALWAYS have the chance to pass you. If you didn't want to be in a risky position, than you needed to do better at the beginning of the match. Being in 2nd and then having 4th pass you at the last second is a "skill isssue"

Better accuracy on aim when attacking for the blades would be great too. Attacking with the weapon feels off and awkward.

Its really weird but it is accurate actually, the problem is its server sided so you have to predict where the enemy will be by the time your reflect "reaches" the server. This applies to both you blocking the damage and reflecting it back, so I think that's part of the reason bullets go through the deflect sometimes and hit you for 100% damage when not expected
So every season that you have come out. You may Rank even Worse. And honestly I don't know how you do it. The first season was so good. The match making was good. The point system would good. Defib is too strong not to carry as a medium and there is no counter play to it other than standing around until the invul timer has run out.
If I'm 1hp and killed the person who used the defib, I'm probably going to die when the defibed player can move again. OR that player immediately defibs the player that I killed first, I kill the defibed player, and now have to fight the same guy again. Not fun :[
Any nerf to medium / defib would be welcome to reduce the amount we fight against it / have to rely on it to compete
Ok Embark listen to me. You obviously never fucking read this chat but Im trying anyways. If I get 8th place, ill lose on average 1000 RS. To get 8th place means youve completed a 15 minute or so round. Now to gain that same amount, which is generally 1st or 2nd, you have to complete 3 whole matches, which takes about 45 minutes. If I spend 2 hours playing, I'm WAY more likely to lose RS than gain it. 45 minutes could lose me 3000 RS or more, but I cant gain more than an 8th seed 1st place (which is obviously unlikely, which gains me MAYBE 2000 RS at MAX. I do not have the time or patience to grind this game for ridiculous amounts of time, nor is the time spent to RS gained/lost ratio fair at all. I just lost almost 4000 RS in around 2 hours, it will take me over 4+ hours to gain that back. Fuck that.

I don't agree with you here. I think everyone should be in danger unless someone earns a massive lead. They NEED to bring back the 30% wipe penalty for getting wiped. Perhaps up it to at least 22% or so from the 10% it's at currently. That'll reward skillfull play and playing more thoughtfully, while also giving the opportunity for teams lower down to catch up (assuming equal skill).
I think it'd be nice to possibly have the cashbox amounts have some degree of randomization as well. Like maybe there could be a high value cashout that spawns every once in a while, or maybe sometimes the opening cashouts could be the higher value ones every once in a while. Nothing major, but it'd be a nice shakeup and make every round feel different. The first cashout is practically meaningless atm, but if you made it so sometimes the first cashboxes are actually valuable it could make matches feel pretty unique from one another. Most of the time they should be how they are now, but shaking it up sometimes would be good.
Defibs should also be reworked. If recon vision could be removed from the game because embark were too lazy to do some simple reworks for it, maybe they should just remove defibs as well and replace it with something else. I mention this because wiping teams feels really annoying atm, but that's just me. Nothing like a medium reviving a medium to then revive the heavy and basically reset the fight.

the "Earn $1,000,000 cash" contract is almost impossible in OCE. No one plays any mode except for quick cash (or powershift which gives no money), which means I need to have at least 1 cashout in the next 53 games, each game is 15 minutes so I have to find 13 hours AS A MINIMUM in the next 14 days, which is hard between a full time job and other commitments.
I could play on other servers, but so far between the lag and bot team mates, have earned me less than 10k over 5 games.

riot shield is legitimately one of the easiest weapons to counter - melee, gas, and fire damage bypass shields, their feet are exposed, and they can't attack while blocking. if you are getting bodied by riot shields you are playing too far away from your team, or don't realize that the best strat against them is just run away

interupting steals could also count for killing players in Bank It while near a cashout, or killing enemy players contesting the platform in power shift
same goes for challenges where the goal is to steal. Taking 5k+ from a killed player in Bank It or successfully capturing the platform after it's fallen into enemy control should count for those contracts.

Damn playing world tour made me realize like a huge amount of pc players are cheaters tracking people through walls, or just shooting through shrubs with no visuals on anybody. Honestly I wish I could play in PlayStation and Xbox only lobby's. Shits annoying, I gave up on rank btw that's why I'm silver I got to plat, then kept getting afk teammates or people that would leave. Then id loose enough RS to go to gold 4 then played with friends that didn't go very well so I said f it. I solo qued to plat, also going up against Ruby players in plat lobby's was lame asf and a complete vibe killer.

Add more gadgets please. OP gadgets are far safer to add than OP weapons, since gadgets need to contend with 2 other gadgets in terms of utility and power. OP weapons on the other hand don't because you only get one and their primary function is usually the same (killing people). Season 2's gadgets became some of my favorites in the whole game, because they play into the sandboxy nature of THE FINALS and allow for completely unique plays. I'd love a season that doesn't have any weapons and just has 4 new gadgets for every build.
I love this game and have stuck with it since open beta but like how the actual fck am I supposed to get the emerald rewards when I work a full time job and have responsibilities of living on my own and a vast majority of the time I have to solo queue with teammates who have zero communication, coordination or brain cells? Meanwhile the hit registers are behaving like absolute dog water and the input lag is still ridiculous asf for some of the gadgets/abilities
I have about 2-3 hours a day max to play (and that's pushing it) most days, and right now I need to average 62 points a day to get from where I am in diamond 3 to emerald 1, which means I have to WIN 3 WT tournaments per day, and with the available time I have that basically means I have to do nothing but win every queue which is literally impossible
strategies to improve player time engagement are all well and good until all it's doing is making the loyalist player base spend all their available time trying to grind for stuff and STILL NOT HAVING IT PAY OFF

Heavies have protection, Lights have stealth and lethality.
Medium has support and mobility, they are not supposed to have a destruction gadget.

This goes to show that the model is very balanced as it is, and any change to it would break it, and the devs now this. So stop complaining naggers. I rarely die against a model with my AKM. The shot count to kill cannot be messed with, since the weapon has the slowest fire rate in the game. If high elo are using it, it's because, and now more than before, it requires skills. Those same people can annihilate you with the light's double barrel, which can 2 shot a heavy and now one is complaining about. SKILL ISSUE MY GUYS
I'd love it if we could get detailed player stats. Things like kills with each weapon/skill, accuracy with each weapon, etc.

Hope we are gonna see some juicy buffs to the weaker stuff in S5. I think most weapons are in a pretty good spot with their niches, but a few just are kinda sucky. Like spear, dual blades and 93R.
Some deserve minor buffs imo like the Revolver, m26 matter and KS23. Probably a little rework on the FCAR would be nice to give it a bit more identity.
Theres also some good suggestions by the community for the dagger. Also I think the Cl40 got gutted a bit too hard. Id rather see its selfdamage allong the lines of 1x or 1.2x instead of 1.6. It was a bit toxic, but now its quite useless again.
Most weapons that need minor buffs usually dont need damage adjustments, but more some secondary thing to make it more attractive towards its counterparts and make it stand out more and have a place in teamcomps / meta.

I dunno about you guys but in every second game I see people through the walls, like S1 recon ability, I see one or sometimes all of the teams from hundreds of meters away, and I'm able to ping them through the walls!!! This game needs to start buffing weak weapons (93r, xp54 (it honestly kinda lost its identity but idk i don't see anyone using it anymore or rarely use it), dual blades, etc. Right now it's just either for Medium: model, akm, fcar or famas (kinda); Light is M11, DB; Heavy: ??? i dont even know it's little bit hard to find heavies now in my games its just mostly mediums with a 1/3 games a light. So please embark buff some of the weak weapons give it an identity but thats just my opinion

nerf flamethrower this weapon has a lot of fuel, it's terrible to play against players who only use that, whether with a light medium or heavy class, reduce the damage, cut the fuel, increase the reload time, but do something about this weapon, it It's very broken
A lot of weapons need absolute rebalancing, there's weapons that are obviously a superior choice to others because their identity as a whole has just been overshadowed by the strength and utility other weapons provide. Pike on release was a great example of it being an exact 1:1 upgrade to the revolver, or the abundantly dominant medium shotgun working even at medium ranges. Don't just nerf things, change how they work, buff, otherwise you'll end up with half baked weapons with no use.

I was waiting until double xp announcement with hope that it will be 400% of daily contracts. To be honest , this season battle pass has great reward , but the grind…I have bought bp and lvls from 75 to 100 just to find out that for each lvl after 100 I need 100k xp! I have all contract completed and I am sitting on lvl 104 with still 600k xp to be earned. Really not feasible to casually play the game if you play every other day, for 2-3 hours you would not be able to complete BP. Hope for more xp last week.

Progression with arrows was strongly opposed by the community and was stated as confusing and not making sense. So I think you are in the minority on this one.
The RPG is intended to be used as a structural damage weapon primarily. Dealing a bunch of damage to a team is a secondary use and a bit more controllable than and less avoidable than a grenade, and not to be compared with a static mine.

Honeslty YES, I aint a sword user but i respect them, the thing i love about the finals is that its so unique of a game adding daggers, swords, spears etc in a heavy gun game but still making it viable is genius, and the fact that there are many counters to the sword but people still continue to complain about it is crazy to me, sword users respect my range knowing i can kill them and i respect them know they can kill me equally as fast if im within their range and if im not using a model or a glitch thats on me, thats my fault, so please bring back the sword and other melee weapons that were weak before this game becomes another cod or similar.
The Finals has so much potential with these unique albeit some weapons are really really strong and over shadowing most of the weapons, the playstyle in the finals is so much fun. And at 11:20 he said revert it back to season 3 which is pretty fair. The season 4 buff was not needed sword was in a nice place, high risk high reward for it but now it's just a high risk = maybe a reward.
Again i ain't a sword player at all but it is what makes this game interesting to me the different playstyles each player can come up with and just have fun with it. Heck the goo gun didn't need that goo ship nerf it was a FUN thing to do.
This game has become slowly less and less fun for a lot players if I may speak, and more of whats the next meta weapon i can use to dominate everyone ( maybe that is fun for some i guess), Embark you have something special in this game that no game has at all, don't F it up with bad balancing
@stray vapor problem is players that do get draw into the game just gets matched with emerald players and basically can't play the game, and just straight leave ( they don't learn they don't get to fight they just die and that's it) it ain't fun fighting a team filled with some of the most experienced players or scripters or hackers when a new player just joins in

My main complaints with Finals are mostly balancing or map favoritism. With maps please stop making me play Kyoto and Synth, I hate both with a burning passion. I don’t have fun on either whatsoever. With balancing my main complaint is with QC, if you’re actively stealing a cash out when a team is about to win it should go into OT like Powershift. Only when you’re actively stealing though, I’d have a lot more dubs or longer matches if that were the case. Other than that I’d just say certain weapons and equipment should be nerfed or buffed. I can live without those though just cause weekly updates usually changes stuff like that for better or worse. Main 2 points are map frequency and the OT for QC.

admidetly this battle pass is harder than the previous one, and with shorter time than last season. But I just still need 150K xp, and I still have iseul-t contracts. So I feel like the battle pass is, as it was meant to be, a contract between the player and the game to play everyday just enough, which, for me, came down to 1.5-2h a day. That being said, the BP is completely refunded before reaching the last two pages of it. So, yeah you might miss on a few skins, but at least you're not losing any money invested.
A weapons ballence change depends on its real level,if other weapon got nerfed,then the one didn't got nerf will be brighter among players but it doesn't mean it is op,it means somthing wrong with whole.ballence

450k is still possible, if you do all dalies starting now to the end of the season you will have 225k of exp (it's in total 15.000 if you complete all dalies, just multiply it for 15 days). There's also another circuit coming which will also help with exp gain + fans.
You're getting 50% more of fans and exp each game, so if you spam the fuck out Bank It (even if you loose, as long as you bank alot of money yorur gains are still ridiculosuly good) you will most likely achieve your meta! 😉

Buff light by making the use of gadgets faster. Often I'll goo myself off but die just before the goo expands for example. So I think overhand and underhand throwing, as well as switching from weapon to gadget should be faster for lights

This guy is cool but this take is horrible, especially when applied to the finals and ESPECIALLY the model.
The model is meta not because of nerfs but because it is fundamentally overpowered on the medium class. The entire medium class is dependent on keeping enemies away from your team by making your team hard to push with healing and quick revives.
What happens when you put an insanely strong shotgun on top of a class that’s supposed to be countered by closing the gap? It instantly becomes meta. More buffs won’t fix this, buffing anything else on medium to be comparable to model will just make that design issue worse.
Do some things need buffs? Yes absolutely. Buff fcar to 23 damage and buff AKM to 40 bullets. But model will stay on top as long as it breaks the core design of the class. Buffing weapons to be better than something that’s fundamentally game breaking for a class is how you create a poorly designed game with no depth

Model is not overpowered. The problem is that if someone can land shots consistently it’s good. I actually thought it was pretty balanced compared to other classes.
Embark needs to give us bigger XP boosts like the one at the end of season 2. This XP Matsuri won't help people finish the 1M XP bonus pages, which requires nearly the same amount of XP as the first 96 tiers.
Or instead of these grindy bonus pages, give us more events instead. Events are a better way for player retention than this unhealthy, anti-casual XP grind BS. People shouldn't be punished for focusing on real-life responsibilities, especially when they've paid money so that Embark could have food on their table.
If I feel like the game doesn't respect my time then I'll stop spending money, or stop playing the game.

Just spamm bank it, it will give you a considerable amount of exep even if you loose. Plus you already have garanteed 225k exp if you do all dailies until the end of the season AND there's still one more circuit to go.
I'm not saying it's abused though, it's more is the only mode where the gains seems to be good enough considering the time investiments. I tried to play powershift and the exp and fans gains were atrocious, plus it's a full 15 minute match. Where bank it is much faster and easier to just do well.

thats the problem I Have with challenges and BPs per se. It just forces you to play the game a way you dont want to play. I also find the needed XP grind way too much.
I understand that they need player retention but I hate the use of FOMO. That goes for all games nowadays imo it should be illegal. And battle passes should be removed from the gaming world.
But yea staying on the topic of the finals the needed XP to finish the bonusPages is too much. I play almost everyday for about 1 hour and I am on the verge of completing the 2nd item of the 1st bonus page. (Yes I do all the dailys and challenges even tho I dont like challenges)

Its not double, it's (up to) 1.5x EXP now.
Pretty sure you only get the full boost from playing world tour or comp.
Casual modes like bank-it or power shift only give like 1.2x, which isn't much when grinding for millions of XP in the last days.
I want peek & fire feature and a kill cam in the game, also a footstep indicator will be nice, and it's better if you give us a volume control for footsteps and please separate the sound of effects from master volume. Also give medium some gud weapon that's easy to aim with and please give light some more health, they just for like woosh 😅, please take 50HP form heavy and donate it to light.

Hello Embark! Love the savage spots sets and swift stripes. Any chance we could get a skirt with the same patterns?

Something that I feel makes an arena more intense is frequent commentary (already pleasantly done by Scotty and June) and an interactive audience. I think it would be cool to hear more chants in different variations from the crowd (also much louder please it's hard to hear sometimes). It makes the player feel more engaged with what's at stake in the game. Also, I honestly think a unique background beat for each map would be nice as well. It could be turned on/off in settings if you do or do not want to hear it, but a nice ambient/intense soundtrack for each map could be cool to see in the future.
Please remove weapon inaccuracy when ADS-ed and standing still/crouching.
Not sure why I'm being punished for aiming well at longer ranges.

Add more events to shake up the game. Maybe something like Acid Rain, contestants take small chip damage when not under cover and exposed to the rain. Or idk high gravity or even fall damage. Just more events mid game to shake things up would be cool.
Sword is broken right now there is no reason a standard attack should be longer than than the lounge. Also dagger has bigger reach than the sword right now lol

The new model is fine? It’s range got buffed sufficiently and now does 60-80 dmg at 20m. Maybe you have to stop crunching on the most op gun in the game to get to silver

Heavy at high elo is extremely dominated by SA1216, would be nice to see more options being picked, removing bloom on ks23, removing deagle bloom, nerfing range and buffing dmg or rof on lmgs could allow for more options to be picked. I don't wanna see the class turn into a long range class but we do need more options other than just sa1216

I love visiting game feedback after the black sheep weapon or gadget people have been begging to be nerfed finally does. Heavy balance changes IMO
Nerf deagles range and buff hipfire spread a ton.
Buff mesh cooldown on both damage and no damage taken
Give winch claw a spin up animation and increase range. Also allow it to be blocked by shields.
Buff rpg damage to 140 and only allow it to be fired when fully ADS, nerf ADS time and buff reload speed. Add a red laser to the rpg so it’s well telegraphed.
Nerf charge damage and disable knocking teammates around with it.
Very slightly buff m60 RPM.
Give KS-23 a small destruction AOE to help with dropping cashouts seated on 2 chunks of destruction. Buff KS to 2 tap walls.
Allow free movement for allies in gravity cube, nerf its vertical distance, allow it to be placed on walls, and remove in air spread for allies when under the effects of gravity cube.
Make the motion sensor model a little bigger, make it take .5s for the spotting beam to attach, but have the spotted effect linger for 5s after being applied.
Allow barricade to have up to 10% of itself clip obstacles. And also be placed on walls

no the model ttk is too low. if they would balance around it, it would mean the sniper oneshots mediums on head, and i think NO ONE would enjoy this change. and i am saying this as someone that plays only and ONLY sniper.
sniper is the most balanced weapon in the game if you look at the stats (excluding hitscan range) and every weapon should be balanced around it.
and btw: hit and run is wayyy more powerfull than a weapon that deals damage over time, i think no one considers this when thinking about balance esp. with the model

We should get a peashooter skin set in the store. With the amount of nerfs that are given out, it will fit perfectly with the current community mindset.
I don't know what's going on with the skilled-based matchmaking, but it is a little frustrating. I feel like I keep getting pitted against teams of competent parties while only receiving teammates who not at my level or alternatively pitted against extremely high level teams while my team isn't good enough at the game to be able to compete.
I feel like the game could also benefit from some sort of karma system which would make it so that players who constantly quit or throw are paired with each other.
Only back to the game because of the XP boost, not because the game is fun anymore - it's sad. At this point I just want to complete the battle pass and the circuit within the limits of what's fun (so, excluding sniper objectives so far - why keep forcing them on us? Please stop doing that, let players play however they want.)
Please add at least one new game mode at launch of Season 5, if not Season 4 will be my last season with the game. It has become repetitive and boring, with too few game modes to play it's easy to get a sense of burnout.
your just wrong man. people flock to the next weapon because of the nerfs that is litterally it. everytime someone here starts crying about something to be nerfed its cause they nerfed the last one and now people are trying to find something that can keep up leading to a slog of the same weapon in every lobby. now its the famas id put good money on people starting to whine about it next since it has/had the same ttk as the prenerf model. you see a rise of the thing that the weapon countered because the counter to it isnt good anymore. this game needs serious reworks and buffs otherwise its going to die off real fast and just not be profitable enough for embark to upkeep
I'm so fucking sad. Finally got to a final round with a really good team, and we pretty much dominated the last two rounds. Third round starts and then bam, black screen with rain sounds looping, It fucking crashed...

personally i think the nerf to the model was minimal and its still usable. model was not touched from its original S1 values back when medium dropped with ALOT more lethality than it should have had. they've been working on it and the model was one of the last weapons that needed to be brought down. this was a long time coming.

Again, your statements are based on feelings or emotions. The Model 1887 weapon is fairly balanced and more balanced now. The Model has many cons (reload is bad, long range is bad, rate of fire is bad) than pros and the reason you are crying because don't want to admit it is an individual skill issue.

This really an individual skill issue. You need to practice more and work on your GAME SENSE skill.

It really depends on the context. some things have absolutely been the result of this. m11 is being complained about a ton now even though its fine.
but the model is genuinely bad design that can be observed and analyzed. its not just cope. however, blanket nerfs arent going to fix the issue either, it needs a spread buff and a damage nerf to 108 so it has a place on medium as a pressure tool instead of a class breaking 1v1 winner that allows medium to frontline.
generally, these issues arent prevalent in casual modes because in depth class identities arent seen that much and well crafted team comps also arent seen that much outside of higher ranks. but the issue is EXTREMELY observable there. The ttk of the model is on par with the rifles which is a bad thing. the model should be killing slower than the rifles. it is a burst damage weapon that allows full movement during use and has no random spread or hipfire penalty. They cooked so hard with the m26 matter, it kills slower than the weapons that directly compete with it on light but its still just as viable as them because it fills a specific niche and role in team compositions. It's a terrible 1v1 tool but insanely strong in 3v3s. This is exactly how the model should be.
@ionic surge All of my statements are based on observable game design issues. If your only counterpoint is "you're emotional, look at ttk" i don't really feel like going much further. TTK should be longer for burst damage weapons. As for "skill issue" i havent played ranked in a month and a half and im still top 1k global. my lobbies are also filled with around 80% model 1887. saying its perfectly balanced is objectively incorrect.
Horribly 2D take in that video. It does not account whatsoever for power scaling.
A game is designed around an intended, desirable TTK/game flow and if current weapons/items exceed that they need to be brought down.
Buffing everything up to the level of busted things such as nukes, old SA12, old FCAR, old Pike, etc would create a horrible mess of a game in which TTK is closer to CoD than what is intended for this team-based, ability-inclusive game.
The power scaling has always been far too high in this game. RPG did 160 at release and nukes existed. Embark have taken a year to gradually lower this scale and the game is far better off for it.

I agree with that for the most part, like the rpgs, but they can't just keep nerfing and nerfing. It makes the gunplay feel worse in my opinion. It doesn't feel like they buff the weapons that need it like the 93r but instead nerf the new weapon people get attracted to.
how is the model changes a nerf? sure you lowered the damage slightly, but then you added another pellet and tightened the spread lol
