After a lot of play with the knife, I notice that there is skins on the weapon that are pay to lose. Some of the skins have a perfectly fine visual que of when your weapon is fully charged for a back stab, however some don't at all, and instead have the slight and subtle sound given, which does not work in combat. I think the solution, and this is somthing that should also be implemented into the sword too, is to have a ui change that gives us a meter that visually represents when the knife/sword is able to be used.
PvE mode would be fun. A casual way to level up the bp or earn vrc
Plz fix the cheat that removes spread from shotguns. Getting blasted by a SA12 from long range doesn’t feel great😵💫
To the devs. The anti grenade turret is great as it counters the grenades, but I don’t think it should be able to shoot through walls/flooring.
add a new #👂┇game-feedback channel but for only like red/green, or if possible a 'high-elo' feedback (dia+, mabye just that they hit dia, or previous season dia or something like that idk) so there is a consistent stream of feedback from higher-elo players that dont get drowned out. Its good to have a range of feedback (hence making it a separate channel), but it also could be a good idea to know where the feedback is coming from. It is also the case that most often the most dedicated players are the ones who are the highest rank / put the most hours in.
also if possible, make a PBE for the players to test updates in advance before they hit the live servers, for any possible last-minute feedback or bug fixes

The plug meta is horrible. Losing only 10% while gaining almost 3 times the cash for kills is just stupid.
Man. This jack o’ lantern challenge sucks. Five days of world tour, hundreds of pumpkins thrown…one kill so far on someone not moving.
Yet another ranked game with a full stack of rubies thrown into a plat/gold lobby. Please, Embark. Stop it with the preferred queue times. Make high skill players wait for a game. It's not a big deal. Giving everyone else a horrible ranked experience just so the elite few can get games quicker just feels wrong.
The audio pollution in this game is horrible. I think it has gotten worse.
- Most sounds including the alerm when stealing the cashout is silent in a gun fight
- Even when your surroundings are quiet, footstep sounds tends to be silent
- There are instances where gun shot sounds are still being played even after the player has died
- Cloak should be more loud. Sounds are the most important indicator of the enemy's location while they are in cloak.
- Sometimes the gun shots don't even play. When the enemy shoots.
The fact that it silences cashout sounds is insane. I just lost a game because the game did not alert me with any sounds. The sound in this game is completely useless if it comes to information on your surroundings and it's frustrating. I would even say that Apex Legends has a better time with audio than this. Because there are explosions and gunshots, I think it's totally fair that footsteps are silent in those instances, but this is ALL THE TIME.

The reticle's centre is off in this game from the start.
I noticed this when I was trying to adjust the sensitivity to the left and right using throwing knives, which didn't have an aim mode and only had a centre dot.
You can't hit distant targets with secondary attacks unless you throw the reticle to the left edge of the centre dot, not in the exact centre of the centre dot.
I used to adjust the sensitivity by firing with a revolver without looking through the sights to see if I hit the target, but even then I found it better to shift it slightly to the right and shoot at the left edge of the centre dot to hit the target.
yeah someone who's abit more skilled than the other players in a game is so oppressive if they choose light. totally sucks the joy out of the game.
light should be a glass cannon (things like mines, rocket and grenades should 1-shot them). as the most agile class, they shouldn't have the stun gun (super-agility gets agility-destroying gadget to increase their advantage even further...what?)
also the sniper should not be accurate, or fast to aim/fire, at short range. total nonsense that one of the most effective close-range and melee range weapons in the game is a fucking sniper rifle. lol
Why does charge and slam do so much damage??? Am I missing something? It feels terrible to play against. All they do is run in your general direction and they kill you. How is this a balanced ability for what's supposed to be a competitive shooter?

very slightly nerf famas hipfire accuracy (its cqc power is slightly too good for a weapon like this, fcar is supposed to have the superior hipfire of the 3 rifles)

slightly buff fcar recoil and range (the recoil is obnoxious and the range difference between it and akm is negligible before falloff overtakes it)
buff ks23 arena damage and hipfire dispersion (the ability to break down walls is incredibly useful, but wasting half a mag to do so is pretty awful)
buff dual blade deflection accuracy and swing speed (deflection mechanic is completely undone by unreliability, and the weapon itself is mediocre)
buff 93r hip fire and mag size substantially (it'll still be bad, but at least it'll be more interesting as an accurate sustain fire tool that can be fired from the hip reliably)
the constant encounter of MMM with defibrillator and heal beam is beyond frustrating and has to stop
Agree that light should be a glass cannon. The weapons should not do half the damage of the support class and barely have better mobility than the support class with 100 more health. Light also heavily relies on their specs way more than other classes, therefore the specs should be a lot better than they are currently.

Can we go back to a time when VRs could be used to reroll challenges? it was the only way for players who own everything to burn their spare VRs.
This is because Heavy's have low mobility and large hitboxes, so if they are in close combat with a Light, they will be unilaterally defeated if they are equipped with a Lewis or M60, even if they have 350 health.
If a Heavy's main is one of these, charge and slam will be their last resort for survival.

Medium Healer with healing beam he has fucking 400 support end of the game?????? That is my team a light who just run solo the whole time and my healer doesn't fucking heal..

Firstly:
- Fix the spawns (rework them)
- Buff Mesh Shield (Remove the CD)
- Buff Dome shield (Put the timer that it lasts back to 11 seconds but keep the 750HP)
- NERF SWORD!!! Please do something about this
- Revert Model Range nerf AND NERF DMG Model
- Buff FCAR (Add DMG and take 5 bullets away)
- Give AKM just 36 bullets again (Let the AKM and the FCAR shine in their own way)
- Fix the matchmaking (Why i always get one teammate who doesn't know how to play the game)
- Remove sledge
- Remove stun
Lastly on a side note:
You guys removed cash out for S3 a whole season of 90+ days. Said you wanted to work at it but made it actually so much worse. The whole game is becoming so frustrating. In S2 my grind to Diamond 1, was great. I had so much fun playing this game. Since S3 the joy for the game is slowly leaving.. i catch myself becoming much more frustrated by the state of the game is in right now. This game had and still has so much potential

Fix your fuckass ranking system. You lose the in 8th the same that you gain in 1st but statistically speaking you are much more likely to get 8th. Also I hate wasting two rounds of my time just to get 4th and STILL LOSE RP. Waste of my damn time

The Halloween event in The Finals is disappointing: The spin wheel feels like a deliberate attempt to mislead players, as it’s nearly impossible to collect all event items within the given time frame. Instead, players mostly get duplicates, ultimately spending more resources on the armor than if they had simply bought it directly from the shop. This creates a frustrating experience, making the event feel more like a cash grab than a fair challenge.
I feel like they could’ve done better with the Halloween event too cause you are kinda forced to play world tour to get the new halloween contracts so it’s definitely not friendly to casual players
Being here since the beginning. This games performance has dropped so hard then there’s all the balancing issues bugs lack of updates and decent content am tired of it all and I couldn’t make it through s3 BP got bored around day 60 game was dead stale and boring for me.. season 4 came you had my interest I bought the battle lets go and I got bored again only this time I level up 4x am level 64 and am only 67 on BP embark I won’t be returning on season 5 if I do it will be a quick visit… sorry guys thanks for 456 hours of fun GGS Good luck

I'm pretty sad, the day has come. I've been devoted to this game since season one. You only need to look at my rank in this server to see how passionate I am about yapping about the finals alongside playing it
Even through balancing and performance, I stuck with it. It's all I've played for months.
Not anymore. I can't play the game right now. The performance is so poor, it's unplayable. Every lobby is Pike or model players. The meta has been essentially the same since the start except a few tweaks here and there (medium defib reigns supreme)
And as Irish says in the comment I'm replying to - the content is so so stale. There's literally nothing to do in the game. I was talking to my friend the other day about this - i just don't know why I'm playing this game anymore.
And it's confirmed in my mind now unfortunately, i can't play it. It's no longer fun and it feels like Embark have really stopped listening/caring.

Embark, please leave melee weapons alone. I know many people complain about them but most sensible players recognize that they are hardly overpowered. The Finals is advertised to allow you to play your style. Please never make melee unplayable 🙏

Can we get a slight cl40 buff by making the grenade smaller I feel a lot of the times I try to shoot through or pass a gap I just hit the gap even through theres enough room for it to go through and i dont know if its intentional or not but the cl does full self damage sometimes more like the the rpg

no one wants to be forced off of their favorite guns and loadouts just because someone else is using it. it's somewhat the same problem a game like valorant has where you can get locked out of playing a way you enjoy because someone picked your favorite character.
i really want to know the rationale behind matchmaking ., i have been solo queuing in ranked and all i have been seeing is stacks on stacks , 90% of engagements lost because it's always 1v2 or 1v3 , coordination and comms are crucial in this game. if im solo queuing im expecting to see solos , if im in team of 2 , then i expect to see teams of 2s , same for full stacks . but this is so frustrating i swear , devs need to learn this from Bungie D2.
Agree , your teammate can use the same ability only after the first use cooldown. For example if i use defib my teammate can use it again only after my cooldown. I suggested it already in season 2 but the devs didnt agree with that
I have no idea how viable this is game design-wise, but there should be a better system for players who leave midgame/bugs that cause players to have <3 players on their team. As someone who only has a duo to play with, it's very frustrating having a third teammate who leaves mid-game or getting put into a game without a third person. At least I think the remaining 2 players shouldn't get a penalty for leaving a ranked game as going into every fight in a 2v3 is an objective disadvantage and it means I lose progress for a reason I can't control. (This is specifically for ranked/ maybe WT as other modes it isn't meant to be as competitive)
Bro it literaaalllyyyy is. As a heavy you use all your gadgets to build a setup. I had nothing left for crying out loud, i even used my winch claw and he stillllll killed my 2 randoms at ease, i soloed his team and winch clawed him just for him to one shot me cuz he engaged. What am i supposed to do? Teleport away? Its rediculous and i'm on the brink of uninstalling. I was @ 14 kills 7 deaths and it was 7 times the model user in a final.
It's ALWAYS only models that kill me. Nothing else except sometimes a light sword. Come on just stop. You're not supposed to keep your whole inventory just for the chance a model user might drop by. And it happens every game cuz the majority of the players use the rediculous no-skill weapon. And don't get me started on it cuz when i use it myself i rek all players i come across cuz it's so faceroll. Let your team go in, Hit - Hide & repeat. Just screw this man i'm on the brink of uninstalling as it's all about Models and i'm completely done with it. Never say it's unavoidable again cuz it is. You can't do whatever you want there's always a Model player swooping in to ruin all nice high-skilled plays and 1-hit everything. So cringe it's just crazy Devs think it's okay at this rate.

This crap doesn't work properly. This challenge doesn't take into account interruptions caused by mines, destruction of the floor under the cashout, knockbacks, etc. For some reason, only kills are being counted.

Valorant is a completely different game its a hero shooter the finals is not that at all. In valorant all your teamates can buy the same guns and armor lmao. I'm saying you can go triple light or any other class but you cant spam 2-3 of the same weapon its ranked not casual and unless they do drastic changes to some of the ability's and guns the competitive side of this game will never get off the ground.

Defib, grenades, dome shield, jump pad, zipline, taser, mines etc. should all have a team wide cool down to prevent low skill spam use and promote stacks to bring different utility instead of copy pasted load outs
Ranked/WT scoring needs revisions. It’s possible to dominate the first two vaults/cashouts only to lose the game via a large late game steal: FRUSTRATING. A team should still be able to comeback late if lucky, but it shouldn’t happen as regularly as now. There should be value for holding the objective for long periods even if you don’t deposit or hold at the end of timer.
Secondarily, can ranked RS gains and losses also be influenced by individual performance? It’s frustrating when my team is horrible or disconnects entirely. If I had incentive to play my best regardless of teammates, solo queue would be so much more palatable.

Just let your team engage, jump pad in behind em and 1-hit em 1 by 1 before they can even see you coming. 0,00 seconds TTK and 0,00 skill involved cuz it's UNAVOIDABLE.

I've never gave feedback on this game so this is kinda weird but just wanted to see what people thought of this idea
One of the biggest problems I've seen in this game completely destroying it's dreams of being anything competitive is the third partying.
While third partying itself isn't bad overall, its horrendous in the way it's being abused in higher ranked games.
In higher ranked matches it becomes apparent the playstyle higher ranks tend to adapt which is essentially grief every single cashout possible.
You'll have the first team to initiate a cashout, leave the cashout, then grief the second cashout, or you'll have a random solo from the winning team grief the two teams fighting after they're done.
Now again I don't think third partying in general is a very bad thing, it can be strategic to help win the game, but the issue arises that there's no penalty for the top teams playing how they do. It's very common to win a fair 3v3, start stealing, then lose just cause the other team decided to leave their cashout with no one there and grief.
Now I think a very simple mechanic that can help with this is add a radius to the cashout, not a small one, but a big one surrounding the cashout's.
Something like the first two cashout's have a radius to set fair fights between teams and the last one can have no radius so it can it can still have that chaotic feel the game wants.
It would still allow third party stealing to happen but at a higher risk because you essentially miss out on having a fair 3v3 with the other cashout to try to third party and win.
One last mechanic to the radius would be the amount of people that have to be in it, I would say it should be dependant on how many teammates are alive, if everyone is alive then everyone should be at the cashout, if not, it doesn't go up.

IM SO TIRED OF GETTING INTO RANKED GAMES JUST TO HAVE TEAMMATES IMMEDIETLY LEAVE BRO START ACTUALLY PUNISHING ACCOUNTS THAT DO IT OFTEN OR IF ONE TEAMMATE LEAVES THE OTHER 2 SHOULDNT BE PUNISHED IF THEY LEAVE AND WERENT PARTIED WITH THEM.
Just throwing this idea out there, dunno how hard it'd be to even implement but it sounds cool. Allow players to purchase any still frame or common iconic still frames, from any of the Finals Trailers using max amount of VR an then be able to set those as Backgrounds to the playercards. OR for borders that are just 3 stripes of colors, allow us to purchase the hexcode of the color we want for each bar. Also, same idea with the hexcode selector but for hair would be cool. <.<
for the love of everything PLEASE add some sort of penalization for people who leave powershift games because they cant handle losing a match
Time for me to join the Anti-Pike League... It wouldn't have been so bad except that I was using (trying to use, rather) LH1, which Pike completely nullifies. Doesn't help that LH1's recoil is still rather hard to control while Pike's is far better... So please, Embark, do something about Pike. I'm not even sure what to suggest; all I can say is that this is less fun to fight than the sledge+winch meta ever was.

In my personal opinion they should let us rename our contestant defaults so we can label them like "tank" or "bombardier" to remember what they do without needing to check. Also just more contestant slots.

I can't complain too much bc you brought back cashout ranked, but the model is stupid busted and triple medium meta is so tedious. also not sure if it's intended, but as a heavy melee main, variations like suspended structures and moving platforms are really hindering, to the point that I have to switch to weapons I can't play as well, just to deal with the mode, especially as heavy doesn't have a great long range option
medium has always been op, pike and the demat change just made medium even more meta. The model has always been op, it hasn't been a problem until now because the other classes were also op in their own sense. examples being s1 stun gun, heavy s1 - s2, and etc. When you give the class with the best mobility that already had an op shotgun, an even better gun for long range you make a meta based off 3ms. Also with the cashout 30% plug change it just increased the medium meta further. Back then a heavy was super well with defending but now the meta is about stealing plugs and moving across the map as fast as you can, which you simply cant do with 2 heavys now or even one. The fact the heavy mesh shield was also nerfed even though it was the only thing keeping it alive in competitve was even more braindead. In conclusion medium was already an op class, but with the new plug meta and other class nerfs it just made medium into a dominant powerhouse.
Make it to where if u dash into bullets u take extra damage….then melee can stay
I was just in a game where there was 1 cashout running in overtime and we were in control of it, our team died and the other teams were still fighting over it as the death timer went out and we spawned. The cashout was in the corner of the map, we spawned on the opposite corner of the map. making it impossible to make it to the cashout in time to stop a team from stealing it and winning the game. Pissed me off so much that the ending of the game we could not make any sort of change to because we spawned as far away as humanly possible and couldnt make it to the cashout within the time limit. Would really appreciate if spawn locations were looked at more closely for any upcoming updates so something like that doesn't happen again. Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk.

THOUGHTS:
i would love to see improvement in movement basics to allow for higher skill/faster play. i ve red often times that the movement was better in the beta and since i played bo6 recently i think omni movement and different slide/jump mechanics should be the new standard in the future bc it makes the game way more fun.i am also no fan of the goo mechanics being removed, or the grappling hook sonar sensor mechanic. in deep mechanics are whats making a game more versatile and fun overall. (g. e. the flip reset in rocket league)
And i think this game NEEDS a skin grinding system with prestige to give players a never ending grind. THIS WOULD BE PERFECT.
dont get me wrong. i think this game is 1000x better than any cod. but they invented the formula for EXTREME fun movement basics and LONGLASTING grind.
with these two improvement for THE FINALS i think the game could be the best ever existing in the fps genre.

Suggestion: If a player being resurrected has less than 50% ammo, respawn them with 50% ammo. Respawning with a single bullet after being resurrected isn't a great player experience.

For the love of god embark, we need SBMM. Every match I am paired up with new players who don’t know how to play. I’m glad there are new players, but I’ve been playing since season 1. I don’t want to play with people during their first match ever.
Mesh shield should count as a physical barricade when deployed to stop movement and physical throwables. Also maybe a movement speed buff of like, 5%.
It would deter pushing and make it so people focuses on shooting it cause it'd be annoying. Plus would make funny plays to cut people off.

Server performance has been constantly worsening since the end of S3.
I'm usually running the game at 100-120 fps, yet I've been getting:
- drops to 30-50 fps when destruction occurs
- more and more server-side latency; even my actions feel delayed sometimes
- visual stutters, even freezes
- physics going nuts for no reason; especially destruction related
New annoying bugs have appeared this week: weapon sound glitches/delays, enemy team colors not displaying as intended...
These are top priority fixes ruining the experience, regardless of other ongoing issues. If it cannot be done in a timely manner, please at least communicate with us on the matter...

the changes done to model 1886 have no influence on a triple M stack, be it light or heavy, their all have low survivability against that when medium can close the gap with jump pad and zipline, will there be furthur balance changes?

Insurgency: Sandstorm uses a nice system where if you do not have cross-platform enabled, you cannot use m&k. I would really appreciate this system be implemented into The Finals.

Hell no. This meta sucks but it’s 10x better than the early metas of the game. Long ttk is an intentional design tool used in team based fps shooters to incentivize teamplay and punish solo pushes. The old ttk of meta weapons like fcar and sa1216 did not fit this game at all and made it feel like a deathmatch rather than a real game.
That being said, not many more weapons need to be nerfed. The only ones that immediately come to mind are pike and model. Deagles could use a range nerf and a spread/hipfire buff though.

There will always be 1 class that is easier to pick up and play and mmm will most likely always be a viable option. Buffing either L or H any more to where they get picked any more will have the other 2 classes in a mental breakdown on how OP the changes are.
Also imo and through my own observations in ranked gold, plat and low diamond level plenty of teams are mml, lmh, mmh and mhh.
I really could care less about what you say here about the 3 defibs and 3 pikes, yeah it's kinda cringe but again what your balance changes imply is going to affect all weapons. For example if I simply just want to play with the AKM and my other teammates decides to choose it then all of a sudden im not allowed too, not fair and not fun, you are just better off addressing individual weapons directly and not preventing players their freedom of choice.

Defib has never been the issue with triple medium (since season 2). MMM leans into its class strengths (team sustain and support) just like any triple class stack does. The issue is that weapons like the model and pike are so strong that they cover up mediums weakness in close range entirely. Leading to teams of mediums fully built for support that are out-damaging heavies that are fully built for close range combat.
The issue with the support/utility class being the strongest and most reliable dps comp in the game with triple stacked is not the support.
We also have proof of this from patch 2.6 - 3.0 when people thought the AKM was the best weapon on medium and it was the go to weapon for mediums in comp, MMM was considered weak during this time even though medium in a regular team comp was still strong. MMM had high team sustain and support but the lack of immediate close range burst damage meant you could counterplay by closing the gap and punishing bad revives.

While I understand your message I dont think medium needs a nerf to its overall damage output. Its effectiveness lies in the class’ versatility instead of raw shooting power I think.
Light is made for short glass-cannon like 1v1 engagements where its survival depends on breaking line of sight and repositioning. On the other hand Heavy isnt made to win 1v1’s because (to me) the class seems to be oriented towards a supportive role by providing shielding for teammates and spraying multiple enemies in a group with its lmg options
M once again falls in-between these options and will 90% of the time be a valid option when not playing underpowered weapons

i’d like for vrs to have a more prominent role in the game, because we rarely get the opportunity to buy things with them and even when we do, we get to the vrs limit a few days later and they stay that way for the duration of the season, having small cosmetic items that are purchasable with vrs would go a long way imo, for example, weapon charms, stickers, different reticles in optics, possibly different and unique skin colours (green, orange, blue, white etc etc) recolours of default hairstyles, perhaps different badges for our player cards, a few ideas, DMG dealt, DMG taken, distance traveled, grenades thrown, money deposited, longest kill, anything to make each player card that much more unique to its contestant. All of this would also allows each contestant to be much more special without the need to spend money that they may not want to or have access to.
I don't mind the LTMs being replaced by WT tournaments for as long as you are a bit more creative and wacky in terms of changes.
What about limited loadouts or classes? What about everyone playing dual blades only? What about constant mid-match events? NPC turrets scattered around the map?

the deflect feels really inconsistent and pretty weak imo
i think it would be decent if it had very good (if not perfect) accuracy, but in return the user took more damage for reflecting shots
it would set it apart from riot shield a bit more, as it would be even less defensive, but with stronger offensive potential
i would also give it a circular crosshair instead of a dot, so we can gauge better at what range the reflect will even be effective in
and lastly, please change the final attack of the blades to deal the damage of 2 blades
i couldn't tell you how often i missed a kill because the final attack that im building up to deals less damage then the first 2 slashes

The stealing meta is what it became after that update and itd be less so if they made it so you gain 1/3d cash every 1/3d of the time that passes on the cashout. It would change the whole dynamic i reckon. Wouldn't be bad to test it out on WT for example

Im surprised embark hasnt tried a class locked LMH teams only mode, those games are the most fun with lots of variety even quick cash half the time is now just all M on the other teams and its so stale when those games happen.
Remove Kyoto in it's entirety, the map gets on my nerves like no other, I DC every single time I see Kyoto pop up on my screen.
Also fix the class balancing. Lights are too easy to play and are super effective, low risk high reward, meanwhile heavies are way too much effort for way too little gain.
"Low risk, high reward" play some more, get past noob levels of play, and then look at lights again.
Ranked has been known for a long, long time to be the weakest class. At gold levels theyre already extremly rare and by platinum practically non-existent.
ngl the game feels pretty well balanced rn (disregarding outliers) but there are still a few changes that need to be made:
• revolver -> please just give it a little range buff
• mesh shield -> just decrease the cooldown just a little bit so it's not so frustrating to use
• duel blades -> literally anything, these have been garbage since they dropped
• cloak -> is dogshit rn. needs some sort of rework or buff bc vanish orb is just better
• glitch nade -> let it explode on impact, let it glitch the defib statue
• lh1 -> just so it isn't completely dogged on my pike give it some of its range back
• 93r -> definitely needs another buff but a red dot for it would be nice too
i think medium being able to 2 tap medium and 3 tap heavy is much more problematic but what do i know

Also it's funny that you mention Heavies being hard to play for too little gain. I played 3H with friends for shit and giggles yesterday. We effortlessly won almost every single casual game we joined. Not necessarily with a crazy good KDR like a 3L team. But when it comes to stealing and holding objectives, it's always easier with 3x350 hp, 210 rounds of ammo, 2-3 RPGs, mesh shields, barricades, motion detectors, CnS, and so on.

The hot topic of the game has always been what function should light fulfil.
I think by focussing on its glass cannon potential all that happens is it being a nuisance in casual game modes with lower skill levels. But seeing how the game main mode isnt about kills at all we see light fall off in higher ranked play.
To be honest the solution in my mind is to shift lights attention away from its weapons and raw killing power. But we should think about what support they give to teams in relation to the game. What roles do we wish to have lights fulfill? Sure right now they are excellent at plugging the vault. And in the right hands can effectively kill opponenents. But I would say to make the tradeoff of 150 worthwhile you need to increase the support they give to their team. And by support I dont mean healing, medium can have that role. But things to disrupt enemy teams, incur information, that counter strong gadgets on the enemy team. Gateway is a good example of a gadget that is strong enough and unique enough that it gives lights an advantage in ranked play.
Give light very strong gadgets / specialisations that work with its team. Its not an immediate fix since making new gadgets take time. But we can take a look at its current gadgets and think of ways to add more teamvalue.
- Glitch grenades could probably last longer on players, and allot longer on placeables.
- Stun gun could be changed to be a shorter duration but pierce mesh/dome shields. This allows easier cashout defence, and by shortening the duration makes it less of a crutch solo kill tool. This in part would allow for buffs to mesh and dome again, since it now having a meaningful counter
- Smokes could deploy instantly when thrown, and effects like sonar / tracking dart / motion sensor could reveal people in smoke.
- Vanish bomb could give a bonus to duration or shortened cooldown if it vanishes more people

Earlier this year we saw the switch away from exclusive bundle pricing to individual items now being made available for purchase. This alone allowed a great amount of customisation and personalisation of the game. But @shy token is back this time to argue the case for community driven input.
By allowing the community to create fan-made concepts and outfits using available items, TF has allowed its community to creatively flourish. However, we think, and there are others who have considered this idea as well within the community, that new community made items should be given the chance to be official and in-game.
This would not be the first time that such a thing exists in the world of gaming. Warframe's 'TennoGen' is one of the best examples of having the community be involved in the creative process. This engagement's potential is virtually limitless and invaluable for the game's longevity and community. It can be further sustained by giving the creator(s) a chance to be awarded through a variety of ways, in combination or merely by themselves:

Please you guys need to do something in ranked ASIAN server now! I've been complaining this problem since season 2, and here's why :
- there's a group of Chinese players that they called it Chinese anchor is Livestreaming in douyin app (chinese TikTok) EVERYDAY and they proud to be a CHEATER.
- the cheaters got paid everyday for boosting someone to be a top 500
- they got BANNED many times but they keep MAKING A NEW ACCOUNT just for doing it again and again and again.
Im doing this because I'm addicted as a competitive player. I hope someone can understand how much I suffer playing everyday with these CHEATERS. I won't stop until you guys need to do something because it's for your own good. Banning them won't be the effective way, here's the solution from me :
- Device ban. at least they can't create a new account from the same device

Higher ranked plays were just one third party after another while one team just sat there on a cash box like a hen on an egg.
It was very annoying because, some of us aren't playing long hours every day, additionally solo queue... It was such a pain to level up to higher emerald when it was dependant on game wins + random teams + third party frustration.
My only wish list for the mode now is to improve the spawn, sometimes it's too far away... And sometimes it's way too close 😂

I think when people complain about "spawning too far", its because they've lost their cashout pushes and are now being spawned for vaults.

Plugging vaults grants too much cash vs. no team wipe penalties (WT) or 10% penalties (Ranked), in addition to the respawn logic being f'ed up, giving the advantage to wiped teams, or favoring 3rd party.
As a consequence teams focus more on plugging vaults, are able to take every risk since team wipes almost don't matter, and can sometimes even win rounds all thanks to favorable respawns.

Two issue I have found lately since getting back into this game.

Quick play Terminal Attack - Why is there no team back fill when a player drops? This is not ranked gameplay. Super annoying when starting a match and the match gets cancelled for a lack of players. Also annoying when a player drops halfway through the match.

There seems to be a sound glitch with guns in the game. Happens at random. Either during team spectate after death or on the beginning of a new round, someone on the team sounds like they are shooting indefinitely. The only way to stop this currently is the affected player needs to cycle there gadgets and back to their weapon.
I know its not always easy to squash the bugs but something to consider on the next patch/update

True, it's not gonna be perfect... Lately, compared to previous seasons spawns seem either too far or too close 50% of the time. It's gotten better in some sense but it's gotten worse too.
For example on Seoul map, if you're fighting on the hospital past the bridge, you'll highly likely spawn on far end corner of the building past the sky bridge, you'll always spawn here... Even with multiple wipes. I've come across players who have figured this out and who come out on the roof to spawn kill the respawning team.
Could we have an option for all seasons of soundtracks to be played instead of just the current season, please 🥺

People doubling vaults so they get money to overtake first without any risk and getting that team out if they can't get that cash out. Spawns being the worst they've ever been isn't helping with this. (Spawns were never perfect unfortunately.)

Getting wiped only costs you 10% which you can easily get back with 500 cash per kill. It used to be 30% and only 200 cash per kill.
Let's say on the 10k vault you get the full 10k, maybe you had a fight and 1k for opening the vault, you'd have around 13k. You get wiped and lose 10% that's 1.3k, not even 3 kills. So barely any risk to fighting because if you get wiped no problem. You'd probably make profit off of reckless fighting.
Even the 22k vault you get 7k for plugging, which if you die would only cost you 700. Obviously you have money from previous fights/vaults but I hope you get my point.
So unless you have (close to) 70k when getting wiped, you're still making decent profit for simply plugging a vault. (stun gun and winch being a thing also sucks for this, you can just wait on a cash out, stun/grab them and then grab their cash box and voila, free money.)

It's for sure a lower risk, but there is usually a fight that goes down over that vault. If the 3v3 isn't finished quickly and the vault hasn't been plugged, another team has the chance to come for that vault. You're SUPPOSED to "run away with the vault for the plug money". But the reward is not very high, especially in the first round of vaults. Plug money is there to help pad your already existing cashout money. Plugging is not a valid strategy unless your team can get the majority of plugs, which is a valid strategy and takes skill. If you and other players in the match are losing vault fights, you deserve to be knocked out.

I promise you, normal players are not consistently winning double cashouts, especially in higher elo lobbies. This (Source: currently ruby #329.) If they are, then the team winning the double are probably just solid, or lucky and every team in the lobby refused to target the holding team. If they get the cashout, the team winning the double deserves the ability to play their leaderboard position. That is just how the game works.

You're talking about the first round of plugs here? Cool, you lost 3k. On average, your enemies get 2-3 pushes onto a cashout. That is the potential to kill 6-9 ($3,000 - $4,500) people. You'll get that money back AND wipe the plugging team if your team is solid. What you should focus on is how you lost the plug and how you can play better.

The money is not free, and the strategy you are describing is not that simple. Stunning or winching a player carrying a box puts you into a vulnerable position, especially as a heavy player that does not have escape options. You can probably hear the team pushing you. Drop the box and fight for it. Bonus points if the box carrier has his team escorting him. There is risk to this type of play.

Anyone else hate the actual final round? Because of how the rock paper scissors balancing works it always feels like one team is at a large disadvantage based on who they end up matched against. The ability to third party is gone so it just ends up being mostly unfair for one team. It feels bad no matter what side we are on. If we place third I usually prefer it bc I love the 4 team matches but I actually dread the final match. And it's literally what the game is named after.

The entire game is balanced around rock paper scissors builds. When you can't swap out your loadout in the final round and the other team has loadouts that directly counter yours that is not a 100% skill issue. That's my point. Yes I can get better but that doesn't mean the final round couldn't better take into consideration how the game is balanced and make it feel better to play. That's all I'm saying.

A possible rework of the dual blades: The third attack of the combo should be the first attack and it should be faster and a dash attack, that way players could reach the enemies easier, the damage of the first attack would be increased from 70 to X1 100, X2 60; X2 50, the dual blades should be able to deflect when running but I'm not sure if the latter would be balanced
There is a major bug that's prevalent in every game where players in the enemy team have the wrong character colour outlines, especially the purple team. It's really messing with the gameplay

-Problem is, winning vault fights don't matter when one guy is already halfway across the map with the vault. That's what I was trying to say. You just run and if you get wiped you don't lose much but can possibly gain good profit. "You're SUPPOSED to "run away with the vault for the plug money". I know, and it's a stupid mechanic. People who get lucky spawns on vaults or run with it because they're afraid of the fight and want free plug money shouldn't be a thing.
You also mentioned another problem with this, a 3rd party could sweep in and steal your vault for free plug money.

By doubling I meant when a cash out of a worse team is already ongoing, I just plug the box for the 7k to get first and can possibly knock out the team that was 1st (now 2nd). If I'm second, plug vault for 7k and get above the other team, I'm probably letting another worse team take it/hold it so I can have an easier final. This now punished the other "solid" team with very limited counters. Very low risk, possibly very high reward. No plug money means I have to get my own cash out to possibly stay safe if my team is second.
-It's not just the first rounds of plugs. The first round is not really a problem because like you said it's 3k.
-Calling it reckless fighting might've been a bit exaggerated, but dumb fights happen more often because of the low wipe penalty.
-I'm basically saying there is little risk to plugging the vault and dying. It's a good trade to get 7k for a coin. Can be win or lose, just like that.
-The strategy is that simple and I've already done it many times. It feels cheap and shouldn't be a thing. There's not enough high elo players to have actual high elo lobbies all the time where this wouldn't work.

Just had a tournament with EXTREME lags on Seoul. Flamethrower fire hits not registrating, carriables dropping out of hands randomly, defibs not hitting, revives taking an extra second, dome shields completely disappearing while deploying & barriers not placing. We were humiliated by a random bad medium and a heavy with MGL32 and Charge N Slam, which he always dealt 200+ damage with, while my Charge N Slam didn't reg, hit or knockback at all. Terrible game optimization or matchmaking, even felt like playing on servers on the other side of the planet. I wouldn't be surprised if that was actually the case. Can't believe the game I love keeps kicking me in my intime area over and over with issues, bugs, errors and FOMO excuses.

I think we can all agree how messed up the spawns are and where the cash outs spawn aswell. There’s no reason that as a team who got wiped you should spawn father away than the team that wiped you to the vault. Or spawning 200 m with 45 seconds left on the cash out. It happens way too much and is quite frustrating. The game isn’t perfect and everyone will have a problem with something but the things that’s should be fixed are the the things that affect everyone

fix this ranked scording/seeding. it's not fair to be placed in the top 3 seeds for 90% of my matches when there's no one that can win 90% of their matches. it sets everyone up for failure and frustration. making it to the 2nd round should ALWAYS reward some amount of ranked score

when someone quits a match in progress, they should receive 2x the loss for intentionally leaving their team ESPECIALLY when that team is in the top half of seeds. players who quit often should be placed in a quitters queue and match with other toxic players

Remove the Plugin bonus and add 50-80% of the cash as ticking money and rest of the money is at the end ----- This will force more proactive and more consistent gameplay instead of going for 3rd partys and hide until one team got wiped

I agree. It very much is RPS. Plus, even when you are fairly and evenly matched, it's boring and doesn't flow well. Sometimes team wipes don't matter at all -- you can wipe once or twice and still get the cashout in the end -- and sometimes just 1 teamwipe spells the end, all depending on really unintuitive factors like if:
you started the cashout too early (because they steal so early on that it leaves you with too little time to recapture, whereas if you waited to start and then they stole it, you would have more time to recapture)
they started the cashout too late (because you manage to steal it, but the cashout is so delayed that they have time to recapture)
how many respawn tokens everyone has (which is practically luck-based based on how previous two 4-team games played and isn't really fair to the 3v3 set)
how far away you/they respawn after a wipe (I've seen the respawning team get a kill within 5 seconds of respawning... smh)
It wouldn't fix everything, but the final 3v3 round would so much more fair and play so, so much better if Embark stopped trying to be "original" and just made it King of the Hill instead of the regular last-second-stealing BS. Or if the cashout timer reset whenever it changed hands.

When playing tournament if two possible qualifying teams have the same amount of money by the end of the match, whoever qualifies shouldn't be picked at random or by who cashed the latest cashout (Or whatever bullshit criteria the game currently uses). It should be based on the general performance of the teams, like for example total team kills.

how is it possible that a tournament where there are only platinums like me is classified easy and in first place makes me get 600 points but at 7/8 I lose 1000 and yet it is a lobby where we are all the same rank, do yourself a favor enbark fire the dev who thought of this crap scoring system where there is no meritocracy and not even sense in giving points because in a platinum tournament I can't see easy difficulty written, but hire someone who understands fps to help you a decent rank system in one year you have only caused trouble with these ranks, what disgusting.
Embark wanted to remove mesh shield juggling and decided to give it an 8s cd to solve this issue. Genuine question to whichever dev decided on this, wouldn't anything between .75-2s cd do this exact same thing while not disabling their ability for 8s at a time?

Y'all need to direly fix your fucking game! It's not only crashing, it's not only lagging, hell it's not only DCing me, it's literally crashing my ENTIRE fucking internet as a fucking whole! It's beyond an unplayable glitch it's a danger to my PC and my internet signal. I prefer it to not cause me to be unable to use my internet as a whole cause of my favorite game.
To note, other people are having this issue as well to varying degrees (a few close friends off the top of my head). I wish to get to E1 from E3 currently so please fix soon. This has literally happened out of the blue. Last weeks I've had 0 issues with it internet wise, no issues since the beginning of the season (I was amongst the unlucky that were unable to connect to any matches).
Day 2 of asking for console users to have native keyboard and mouse support on crossplay matchmaking. Insurgency: Sandstorm uses a nice system where if you do not have cross-platform enabled, you cannot use m&k. I would really appreciate this system be implemented into The Finals.

Enough with the bullshit feedback on here, here's something that I would definitely improve the QoL of The Finals when it comes to cosmetics (talking about hairstyles/facial hair)
When a hairstyle gets introduced into the store, include the other color varients for it. You can even introduce this in a bundle format. Take the Bowl Cut hair for example, it'd be really nice if this was added with a blonde, brown, red, and gray style. You only introduced it in the battle pass for a single page and I think it would be extremely beneficial to your audience if they unlocked the different color pallets with it or just have those in the store to buy

Honestly I feel like half the problem is just mismanagement of expectations. Is this supposed to be a more competitive, balanced shooter or a goofy, crazy not to be taken seriously meme game? They promote it as a more serious shooter (yes it's still a game but you know what I mean) and so I feel it's fair to expect things like this to be better designed for what they are intended to achieve. If I want to go play a goofy meme game with friends there are many better options out there that actually know what they are about and lean into that. I come to the finals for an intense, competitive shooter experience and often find it lacking in the final round.

I know it won't happen, but please revert the dagger back to how it used to be. It was one of my favorite weapons last season, but it's nearly unusable this season, and I have yet to see a single person using it. I get that people might have complained about the quicker backstabs being a problem, but changing it so I have to hold down the attack button for around one full second? is excessive, and I honestly wouldn't have minded if it was just tweaked so that the actual animation took longer without having to hold down the attack. Every time I think maybe the change isn't so bad and hop into the practice range to experiment with it I'm reminded that yes, it actually is that bad. It was a great counter to snipers and heavies, and it still felt balanced since lights and mediums with half decent movement could easily outplay a dagger user.

i rarely use dagger, and from the few times i did to use it since the change, i probably lost about a dozent cashouts to it
i often think im ready to stab and let go, when it was not ready and just does nothing
and there are way more cases where its "just" a kill i dont get which results in my death
instead of doing nothing if held for too little time, which makes it feel unresponsive and overly punishing
it should do the ready up animation for dagger on tapping it and then either stab as soon as possible (like old dagger) or hold if the button is being pressed (like current dagger)

with current dagger, you either risk letting go too early, and dont stab at all, or charge for longer, wasting time

Light has never been seriously nerfed so you don't know they're necessary for the game to be balanced. off the top of my head many light weapons do an unfair amount of damage very fast and they should have harsher damage fall off, the stun gun shouldn't exist, the throwing knives shouldn't be infinite, the sniper should not have tighter hipfire than the revolver(and frankly I don't think it should be in the game in the first place), you should not be able to draw the bow while dashing, and the sword should not pierce the riot shield with the lunge and I'm not a fan of it's ability to cleave, it is the only melee weapon with those two traits, and light's shotgun is the only one with a mag instead of round reload. and @rough storm the model should get nerfed but you're a light main that's how it feels getting killed by lights in half a second with basically every gun you have

As someone who mains Light. Trust, they dont need one bit of a nerf. They nerfed light when they made stuns not take away heavys rockets and when they nerfed light by making it use more invis ability upon start.
Lights are the lease used class at higher ranks and theres a clear reason for that. Here's how I look at it, in order to be good at light, you have to be highly skilled. In order to be decent at heavy or medium, install The Finals

I main heavy (and medium model) this season. Haven't touched light since season 3
To solve ur problem they should revert AK and buff other weapons but Model is restarded. 2 hits me on medium and 3 hits me on heavy with FULL health.
Also light is not hard to kill this season, only if they carry stun gun, and even then.
Make a custom game please
- Fix the spawns (rework them)
- Buff Mesh Shield (Remove the CD)
- Buff Dome shield (Put the timer that it lasts back to 11 seconds but keep the 750HP)
- NERF SWORD!!! Please do something about this
- Revert Model Range nerf AND NERF DMG Model
- Buff FCAR (Add DMG and take 5 bullets away)
- Give AKM just 36 bullets again (Let the AKM and the FCAR shine in their own way)
- Fix the matchmaking (Why i always get one teammate who doesn't know how to play the game)
- Remove sledge
- Remove stun
- REWORK MGL make it bounce but on direct impact explode instantly
Lastly on a side note:
You guys removed cash out for S3 a whole season of 90+ days. Said you wanted to work at it but made it actually so much worse. The whole game is becoming so frustrating. In S2 my grind to Diamond 1, was great. I had so much fun playing this game. Since S3 the joy for the game is slowly leaving.. i catch myself becoming much more frustrated by the state of the game is in right now. This game had and still has so much potential

- Revert FCAR mag, dmg(basically s2 fcar) 20 bullets hella dmg

- XP54 is mid revert it to s2 XP54.
- M11 has too much range
- Buff revolver IDK how but this thing needs a buff. Maybe reduce that crazy ass kick back recoil.
- Remove* MGL. This thing is already useless and annoying to play againts Buffing would only make it worse. It has no place in this game.

I said seriously nerfed two small tweaks in the entire lifetime of the game are not comparable to the many nerfs that medium and heavy have gotten, some justified like nerfing rocket damage(only thing I can think of rn) and some ridiculous like gutting the APS turret into uselessness, crippling the CL-40 by reducing the blast radius, or taking 4 bullets out of the AK. The stun gun and invisibility are still extremely powerful. Give me actual reasons why light shouldn't get any nerfs besides "trust me bro".

Invis and stun is OP? You look at a light and they die. Lights invis and stun are good and dont necessarily need a buff as Id argue they are already balanced. Play against better players and youll see the invis is really only beneficial if you can catch someone straggling away from their team which at the higher ranks just doesnt happen much hence why they dont need a nerf.

this game really needs a "last second steal" mechanic. If a cashout is about to clear but it's being stolen, don't let it clear. If they stop stealing, even for a second, let it clear immediately. I just had a game that ended with us in second because the timer was actually a bit faster than the match timer said it would be. I mentioned this before and someone metnioned it would suck for teams who just managed to barely hold out for long enough. Okay, and the current system sucks for people who just wiped the opposing team and already started stealing but the cashout is gone.

You look at a light and they die, unless they're invisible and don't see him or he stuns you and your gun shaking makes you miss or you have a close range weapon and just die. The stun gun has no downside, an invisible light can use it to start a fight at a huge 18m distance and have a massive advantage on top of the element of surprise and he can interrupt a cashout steal with it and get out with no effort. I never said that invis is overpowered, the stun gun is. I think it should be removed from the game because it has no counter and is extremely unfun to fight.
Where is that pistol nerf? I looked at the last couple patch notes maybe I missed it. Regardless the pistol is still incredibly strong I've seen multiple lights using it today. I don't 100% follow the patches so my bad that I've missed some nerfs but genuinely I'm asking, when has light gotten a nerf to a weapon or gadget that made it useless. Useless like the APS turret not 'invis takes more bar to start' or 'stun gun range down 25m to 18m'.
I hate the argument that light isn't played at a high level, he is. If you don't see a lot up there that's just matchmaking bias. I was just watching a stream today in Platinum where lights where everywhere in ranked and dominating. It's a moot point anyway because we all see different matches.

Too much of any class is making the game feel dull. Triple Light = Playing wack-a-mole 24/7 but the mole has a nuke. Triple Medium = Low risk, high reward with the amount of defib/heal beam stacking (more roach like than lights). Triple Heavy = Trying the tear down the Great Wall of China with a 2 inch chisel.

Let me interrupt my own attacks with a block, it would feel SO cool to be able to quickly put up my blades and parry incoming bullets mid fight, but the animations feel so long since the block can only be used when you're not currently swinging

I didn't say it doesn't need a nerf, but in it's current state if you aren't hitting nothing but direct hits you're doing very little damage and heavies are very hard to kill even with the additional grenade in the chamber. They went too far with it. if that's what the pistol nerf was it must be a minor decrease because I've still seen pistols shoot very fast. And if you're not gonna give me any defense against the critiques I gave you then I don't value your opinion on lights.
and @nocturne shale I'm not a game designer but I play a lot yeah I think the sniper should have unreliable hip fire, it is a sniper with a huge scope a light jumping around in your face hipfiring a sniper is infuriating. The revolver's hipfire should be as tight as the sniper's, and I think the sniper shouldn't be in the game in the first place because long range gunfights are antithetical to what this game is all about. The bow is balanced kinda balanced because of the draw. It deals a massive amount of damage but you have to slow down and draw it first. Being able to dash while drawing nullifies it's one drawback(lol) and is overpowered.
By normal melee do you mean the elbow? I didn't know that goes through the riot shield, huh. Regardless all a riot shield medium has is his defense, a light being able to just lunge through it is insane. What is a riot shield supposed to do against a sword light who can lunge at him, get away, and lunge again and kill him because he can't block it?
The problem with the current CL-40 is because of it's explosion range reduction if you don't land directs it does very little damage, and the extra grenade doesn't help because by the time you get to that 5th shot you're probably dead anyway. A fire rate increase might help that but I dunno. At least we agree on the revolver needing a nerf.
But also, the problem with light is he's both an ambush/flanker and a glass cannon. One or the other would be fine he's both, that's the problem.

If you want all weapons to 1-shot people (which is what Model does) go play COD, this is not the type of game for that. If all weapons would be buffed to the standard of 1-hitting in almost every fight like the Model 1887 (which is what you're saying) i'd instantly uninstall the game cuz that'd mean it would be even more pure lucks over skill based.

Your telling me light cant be a ambush/flanker and a glass canon when medium can do just about everything besides major building destruction not including the cl-40.

This idea is specifically for quick cash, ranked, world tour, and bank it. I think that the same four colors for teams is really boring, my take is that they should add more color variation (like 4 more colors) and to make it so the team you play on isn’t always blue (from your perspective), the color of your team should be the same from your visibility and the enemy team’s visibility. Some colors that could be added are Red, Green, Pink, and White. I think this would be a great change for season 5 to mix things up a bit. (Apologies for the rant)

yeah I'm saying that a class with incredibly powerful weapons with the tradeoff of low survivability shouldn't also be all about flanking and catching enemies by surprise. That creates a class with incredibly strong weapons who's entire kit is built around flanks and ambushes so they are able to run circles around opponents and delete them from the game in half a second without the enemy even seeing them. The medgun got nerfed by overheating faster, all of the mines got nerfed pretty harshly to only being able to carry 1 at a time for no reason, the APS is useless now that it drains its health to delete grenades, Pike v sniper is up in the air but this entire game is built around close range engagements and the existence of the sniper throws an awful wrench into it. Before the pike was added/without a pike your two choices were lose half your health from something out of your control and take cover or just die, and even with the pike the sniper can outrange it. I wish 100 hp was significant but that doesn't mean shit against a light vomiting damage in your face. 100hp isn't that much hp, especially against a light or if an errant grenade or sniper has tagged you. Medium is highly versatile, that's his thing. The light should not have the guns to be a glass cannon but be built around flanks and ambushes because it is incredibly unfair and unfun to fight against. @brittle obsidian ok. wanna say something of value orrrr?

You know you can turn off cross play
So you remove the cannon part of a glass cannon and have a completely useless class that there is no point in playing at all cool. Whats the point in flanking someone when you do 0 damage and die instantly its completely stupid. Medgun is still dumb you dont need to look at your teamate at all to heal them. Mines were awful since you can throw down 2 at the same time 1 shotting lights and crippling mediums. After you throw a mine it doesn't take that long at all to throw down another one its so you cant stack that shit which makes it a reasonable change. Aps having infinite charges was that's stupid and doesn't make any sense. With a lot of light weapons if you miss even a single shot your practically dead so if a light is whiffing on you and still able to kill you its a complete skill issue seriously. Litterally one of the only reasons light is viable is its long range if you remove that why have light class at all. The medium class being highly versatile in everything is the problem it should be meh or fine not oh i can play this or anything else for the team.
add smokes to medium lights barely use it and it would probablty see more use on medium where they can use it to support their teammates, instead of lights needing to dedicate significant utility to mobility/survival

How do I make bugs report? Played on PS5 and sometimes while playing the game my crosshair suddenly disappear from the screen. Very frustrating when playing world tour( only ways to fix is end the match), happened at least 4 out of 10 games I played, also sometimes I can't trigger my iron sight button (L2) until I died and respawn,

a halloween event is cool n all. for a few days. and OCCASIONALLY having spooky maps would be fine. but rn, all we do have is kyoto in rotation and shit visibilty on any map. if a spooky version came up once in while instead of ALL THE TIME, it would have been way better. im not even complaining about the wheel or something, just the general feel of the game rn.

i know GeForce Now is not probably seen as a priority, but its been terrible for me too. It used to play at 1440p 60k at ultra very stable, now no matter what graphic setting it is laggy and unreliable. It used to be a game that felt native, not anymore :(
A lot of the top pieces don't line up very well with the skirts, but the hoodies (namely the VAIIYA Restore and Kangaroo Hoodie) look especially bad since they have a wide lip around the top of the skirt. It would be cool if some of the upper cosmetics that bunch up above the pants like this had an alternate version so that it doesn't bunch up on the skirt, the same as how pants have different variants for whether you're wearing boots or smaller shoes. Right now there are some upper body options that you can't really take with skirts because they just look weird.

I have a grudge you’re a light player, no XP shouldn’t get full revert if anything instead of the 2 damage decrease, it should’ve been 1 with the recent buff to dmg drop off, models already been nerfed enough, pike RPM for sure to high, and just because you face hug heavies doesn’t mean charge and slam needs nerf, you shouldn’t ever get hit by anything other than the slam part as a light, you literally can interrupt it with stun gun or you know dash out of the way or run, the best defense is no be there.

Not so great matchmaking. I just had a game where all players on one team got 20+ kills each and took all cash outs, while the rest of the lobby had either just left or got absolutely destroyed. No one else got higher than 4 kills. I understand World Tour is supposed to be a casual mode, but when you get matched with top players and lose every fight, it's not fun. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were cheating, but there's no obvious way to tell.

I hate World Tour and how it is the only mode that gives you Win Points. I want to play the other gamemodes, but then I'm not getting to Emerald. If you're not going to fix the awful spawns, unpredictable 3-or-4-team fights, or really anything about the mode, then at least let me play the other damn modes.
Why would other gamemodes add points to your world tour rank? And unpredictable 3-4 team fights? You mean the whole point of having 4 teams? You don't have issues with how world tour is set up, it just sounds like you do not like world tour, so just don't play it. Who cares about getting emerald?

Me I do use a 3rd party crosshair and it is not cheating or not allowed by the devs rob has said multiple times he is fine with it and to just be careful as they’re automatic anti cheat may flag if it changes game files
- I'm saying it's stupid to add FOMO rewards (Emerald Skins) to only one gamemode and expect players to grind hundreds of hours in one season over it. It's also the only gamemode that rewards multibucks.
- Normally I'm okay with unpredictable 3-4 team fights when winning isn't extrinsically motivated. When I play e.g. Quick Cash or Power Shift, I don't really care about winning so much that losing frustrates me. Now when you have to win in order to make progress to rewards, it's many times more annoying when losing is largely out of your control because multiple teams decided to focus yours first or the spawn/vault/cashbox positions just screwed you over. Or you have a braindead teammate.
- Embark has already stated they were trying to reduce the number of 3-4 team fights in World Tour. That's why they made some of the changes they did. Which just leaves me wondering why the hell they even have the mode in the first place.
- "Who cares about getting Emerald?" Uh, a non-zero amount of players? I'm not saying Embark is 100% at fault, but you know it's possible for them -- as other game companies have done before -- to make a gaming experience that people don't like but still play to sate some FOMO/addiction/curiosity, right? I'm saying they've made World Tour unsatisfactory by making it such a long grind fueled only by wins. I wouldn't mind playing it without rewards, because intrinsically it's a little fun, but when you slap rewards that require such lengthy grinding, I'd wager it causes more frustration and burnout than fun for most.
To fix this nonsense:
- Award Win Points in all gamemodes (even if World Tour remains the most consistent source) and/or reduce the grind
- Make the rewards NOT FOMO. Do like Overwatch does and allow you to choose any 1/2/3 Emerald skins you want, not just 3 preset ones
- Do something about people who are already Emerald 1. They're just gatekeeping the WPs. IMHO, give WPs just for having to fight them...

Before you could fire incredibly fast at the cost of accuracy. You had to learn to fire fast with it whilst aiming. It became an invaluable weapon choice.
You were able to miss a few shots and still kill your opponent quickly if you could fire fast enough. Due to the new firerate if you miss one bullet thats it, the opponent has already killed you.

You forgot to mention the most important part. Make it and ALL other weapons full-auto -- at least by use of options/settings.
You shouldn't have to press left click for every individual shot -- that's not a skill. Macros can already achieve full-auto. And there's already buffering in the game, anyway, which takes away having to time your shots.

The reason model was and still is hard meta is because you get to play full support medium while matching the close range potential of lights and heavies purely by choice of primary.
The range was mostly a bonus and should have been leaned into when rebalancing the weapon. Nerfing it not only did not solve the problem, but actually made a new one. Without improving the range there is now no way of readjusting the close range power to make it fit medium's design philosophy without making it useless.

Unbearably stupid player selection in absolutely every game mode. Why in WT I play against three teams emerald 1 with excellent kd and more than 4k wins, and I get two vegetables who just downloaded the game? Why in the ranked arena the situation is the same? Why even f** quick cache is the same?
Make already a normal selection of players, give the opportunity to choose whether I want to play against other players or only solo-q. Team play does not work, no one communicates through the microphone, no one puts pings, but you are constantly playing against a full party sweaties. And I even silent about cheaters situation, who give not a single f**, ban for day or two and come back to game again. Gunplay worser than in was in betas/s1/s2
But on a new account, it's just a breath of fresh air, no MMMs, no sweaty players every f** match regardless of mode.
Embark, make casual - really casual. Try to play in the your game instead of reading ML graphs. At least give us the proper feedback

One side that really makes the model efficient is that it fits perfectly into a support class: you can heal, then stop just to land a good shot in time.
I personally love it because I'm way better at flicking than tracking, so I like it's hip fire accuracy. And since most fights happen at close range during cashout, it becomes optimal. I can still manage the same kill count with an AKM, but depending on the map, and the cashout locations. As for powershift I perform better with an AKM due to the nature of the objective.

@oblique atlas Honestly, unless you're clicking as fast as you possibly can and have a weird grip, it doesn't affect it that much. I can click over 10 times a second without noticeably shaking the mouse. V9S "only" demands 6 CPS.

HB nerf will actually hurt any team comp that's not 3M the most. Lower regen rate, shorter range, if your team only has 1 Medium healer, he will struggle more than ever to do his job. The more Medium healers, the less this is a problem.
I also see this as an indirect nerf to Heavy, as it was the class that benefited the most from a good Medium healer.
Overall, this is steering the meta further away from LMH, which should be the ideal.

Bro, SBMM exists for a reason, and it’s literally there to keep the game fair. Without SBMM, it’s just a total mess—you’ve got players who just downloaded the game getting thrown into matches with people who’ve been playing for years. It’s not about “solo queue risk.” It’s about making the game fair for everyone, even if they don’t have a squad. Not everyone has a full party on standby every time they log in. If every mode is a sweat-fest, casual players are gonna bounce. Not every game needs to feel like you’re playing a tournament final, especially in “casual” modes.
And for people who actually want to grind and get better? SBMM is what gives them a real challenge without ruining the game for newer players. Sure, it’s not perfect, but it’s way better than playing the wild west where skill doesn’t matter at all, and you just roll the dice every time you queue.
Oh, and don’t even get me started on cheaters. SBMM at least tries to keep the experience balanced, but if devs don’t keep cheaters out, the whole thing falls apart anyway. They need to step up the bans and make it harder for cheaters to keep coming back with new accounts.
Bottom line? SBMM might not be everyone’s favorite, but it’s the best way to make games fair and enjoyable for everyone, not just the sweats.

I don't think that the issue here is that mediums are the "medium range" class but that they are the supportive one. I start to think that developers are not playing their own game. I am not a big fan of the balance changes. The developer's explanation for nerfing the healing beam was poorly worded.
"We felt the existing range of the Healing Beam was causing teams to benefit from healing in combat"
You don't need to heal outside of combat, as you have regeneration.
"We feel with this closer range we open up more opportunities to counter-play teams that are healing in combat, via various Gadgets"
Only the mine glitch (which was directly nerfed at the start of the season) and the glitch grenade.
And the cherry on top is the pike nerf. With 10% damage reduction, you'll need to hit the light four times and the medium six times (half a magazine) to kill them. With how fast they move with automatic weapons, it's a guaranteed death sentence even before this nerf, so right now, it's not worth it

Its damage has been lowered, alright, but what does the fall off modifier do ? Allows it to keep that damage mostly unchanged at further ranges than other weapons ?
EDIT: yeah, so that's what I thought. I guess that's one way to tweak the gun. The lowered damage will make it less powerful overall, except at longer ranges where other weapons have a worse damage output.

As a heavy main, I am not entirely sure sword needed to be nerfed, but I think all the other changes are heading us in the right direction.

Yes but 4 tap a full hp heavy is balanced when you remember to hit you have to be IN the heavy, also you have charge N slam to counter it, remember that it's a melee weapon and can't do anything at distance so yes sword is balanced

Sword meta? Light isn’t meta in the first place. Even the really good lights are playing it in spite of light not being meta.
Just grab the broken model, shoot the sword and qm. And if you say ‘but sword caught me off guard, I cannot survive second lunge.’ yes, that is how light is supposed to work.
Abilities
Abilities are a substitute for gadgets you can unequipped your gadgets to equip two passive abilities
The way you would equip these abilities would be by pressing the upwards arrow button above the first gadget, and it would swap to abilities and do unequipped abilities press the down arrow next to the ability to swap back to gadgets this can only be done in the menu

there's a bug where players on the same team have different color outlines. In this screenshot I took this fight because I thought it wold be 1v1v2 and I could make something out of the chaos of that. However, all of them were on purple even though one of the 3 had a pinkish outline

Keep being dishonest with yourself that the Sword + Lunge isn't OP, but ultimately the Devs will likely nerfed the sword again making it unusable with any specialization if they don't realize the sword lunge + dash is the issue.
Cuz CL is a braindead weapon (just like Model) and has no place in ranked. It would make this game even more about luck and less about skills cuz you can hardly dodge grenades being launched at ya and the times that you can the splash damage will damage you plus in the meanwhile the CL user's team has a free pass on beaming you.
I play this game to evade getting beamed at and using your skills/brain, not being 2-hit by weapons.
And even than, give me a CL and i won't do much worse than with any other weapon.
You just let your team go in, heal em and pick the opponents off when already damaged.
Or at moments opp's are clinging together it's a good weapon to drive em apart.
It still is a good weapon, just needs more skill now to use it before it was used as a noob tube.

I tried it and it is usless, you get melted by ak or m60 in 2-3sec and you need to close gap and hit perfect combos which need longer.

The Halloween event wasn’t even an attempt to make money, even though the chances to get every single item from spinning the wheel alone is very low, ur still able to get at least 10 without using any currency (unless ur stupidly unlucky). You can barely even call it gambling as there’s no stake involved besides just u spending time playing the game to get tickets.
Can’t solve everything with just damage nerfs to cater to lights, lets see how the usage for pike goes after this but it’s a little nonsensical for the medium dmr to do less damage and be much slower than lights dmr at range to the point that one outperforms the other vastly

A gateway in the air over a cashout or POI cannot be closed this way, as it's out of range of any glitch. you would have to shoot a barrel mid air, or get the angle corret where the grenade explodes on it. Both of which are unreasonable ways to "counterplay" it.
It's insanity because it's the range of the pike that's really frustrating, not the damage for me. I'd prefer they made all the dmrs projectile based like the sniper so they at least aren't as annoying of a poke tool.
You really can't fight back against someone who can hit you far enough away, you can just get out of the way. The sniper proved this pre-nerf in power shift. You'd think they'd have learned this. What's wack about this change is all it does is make the pike more annoying at range because it probs won't be killing you, but it'll constantly be poking you.
There is a difference between a build that is a glass cannon which should do a lot of damage. And a class that is mostly for support. Medium weapons shouldn't be too strong nor should they be too weak. 47 damage seems like the balance that has been needed since the first damage nerf only affected heavies whilst other mediums and lights still suffered from it.

it's about "don't like it don't use it". It's a free game, with a very cheap battle pass that pays you your money back, and now they added a wheel which is a limited time event of 20 items of equal probability, basically for free. It has got NOTHING to do with gambling.
Gambling is when you have to put something at stake and hope you get what you need. Here you are not putting ANYTHING at stake. They give you the tickets for FREE for playing, and you get FREE stuff. Why do people want to get greedy and horde all the free stuff they can, when they don't lose anything if they don't.
If the skins were added to the store, you wouldn't consider it "exploitative". Instead of adding them to a store where you will have to purchase them, you have the completely free chance to get them. People complaining about the wheel is the dumbest thing ever: they could have refrained from adding it, and no one would have said a thing. Imagine giving away free stuff based on luck, and then people nagging about it.

We have gone through so many seasons, and we have also produced so many weapon skins, but every time we change the skin, we have to cut back to the player's interface and replace it one by one. Can you come up with a random favorite skin and let them change it once in a game? I think this will greatly improve the use rate of weapon skins. I have to cut the player interface to change the skin every time. Obviously, there are so many skins I like.

you are so right. if you play against at least 5 IQ enemies they will just destroy you even before you can do ANY damage. in Plat or lower elo I love to farm these bots with the sword. The light double barrel only has 2 shots and is carried by a light which can easily be killed as they have to shoot it from up close so highers the skill ceiling cuz getting away is very hard thus has to be used very wisely. Even if they get a kill with it they'll most probably get killed by the team.
Whereas Models can be used from medium-ranged and is carried by a medium which has all support items aswell so can tank more hits plus gets away easily from the range aswell and can play close to his teammates where as light has to play around and is on his own. So comparing these 2 is invalid broski.
What makes Model OP?
- You can deal 140+ damage in 0,000 seconds, hide and evade damage and repeat this untill your enemy is dead. By the time you finish off your target he will never have done as much damage to you or it has to be a CL or another Model user. There is no other weapon (but CL) which you could do this with. It does 1/3d more damage than an RPG. And it's almost impossible to lose a 1v1 except perhaps from a double barrel or sword user if played well.
- Then, it's the ULTIMATE third party weapon as you just let em fight and go in when all opponents are damaged so you can literally 3-hit em. Even if all 3 start beaming you, you can at least finish off 2 players so your team can very much do the rest. If you all go in together no one stands a chance as your reaction time will Always be slower than the TTK it has.
- In engaging fresh teams you just let your other teammates go in, support (heal) them and once slightly damaged pull out your Model and again, ONE HIT everyone.
- Model is a very agressive weapon so combining it with the supportive gadgets and medium spec is
SO: lowering the damage so it wouldn't 2-hit mediums would solve a lot already, but IMO? The Model 1887 should be switched with the KS-23 (heavy shotgun) cuz the skill ceiling on that one is way higher and acts more as a support weapon.

Model does NOT do 140 dmg. “1/3 more dmg than the RPG” is just completely wrong. Model does 128 per shot if you hit full pellets.

The 93R needs a fire rate and clip size buff. The weapon is super satisfying to play as a light, but the fact that it does barely any dps compared to other full auto/burst weapons makes it extremely underpowered on the light class, Which, after all, is the class that is the most damage oriented in the game.

Heal beam doesn't deserve the nerf. You cant even heal a heavy to max health and embark keeps nerfing something which wasn't even a problem in the first place. If the guy healing your enemy chose to shoot at you, you'd end up dying faster and probably not even scratch the enemy. Its not viable as a counter dps rn cause of its overheat and heal rate and not as an aftercare either if your team has heavies. One full overheat beam will barely bring a heavy to full health let alone heal the other person. Either make it a close range beam with better heal rate and lesser overheat or increase the range and add a passive where you can vent overheat by pressing r while having the heal beam equipped allowing users to atleast provide aftercare when not in combat. Lights complaining about three healbeams in a team keep ranting as if three guardian turrets in a room aren't going to shred them before they even touch contestants.

I think adding the ability to sprint while holding right click with dagger would be a great addition. It's risk v rewards is heavily nerfed if I'm walking at my target and it doesnt charge fast enough to backstab on a dime. If you aren't using dash with dagger you just cant use the weapon. I think every weapon should be viable with every specialization.

Previous sword range was long enough to dashstab through a glitchmine without being affected. That combined with med only carrying one didn't make it a proper counter in many situations
Considering that a double barrel also does more than the RPG, no I don't think that it's THAT ridiculous. Plus, Embark has already expressed that they want the RPG to be a tool for destruction and opening up walls, with options to use to open up a fight. Hence why they nerfed the RPG dmg. Model was not always higher dmg than the RPG, but RPG was abused so much and was ALWAYS picked and got nerfed, putting it below model. So it's not like they intended model to be higher dmg than the RPG in the first place.
When will private match screen get options to switch teams & customize other match settings?
Sword nerf really isn't a big deal. Good sword players didn't have a problem before this, I doubt it's going to make that much of a difference.

i think pike + sword nerfs is embark way of promoting mid rang fights while not killing short range and long range . nevertheless , I'm expecting these soon

You're altering the meaning behind my arguments and i'm 100% behind what you just said.
I'm not saying the RPG should do more damage broski, I'm saying it's ridiculous a Medium shotgun does more damage than an RPG shot.
99 Damage would fit the Model better so it takes out the agressiveness off it and would make it so that you'll have to think about going in, in stead of just jump padding in without having to be scared another weapon outdamages yours. It would mean only +1 shot to kill L-M-H respectively and it would make it more of a support weapon and higher the skill-ceiling to even it to all other weapons. (that all got nerfed)
Also it would make third partying more sweaty in stead of just dropping in and finishing off teams that just wiped another team to steal their box. Which in turn would make the current Meta less luck-based as everything is about stealing and plugging.
That's why i didn't find the Model problematic in season 2, but since they changed the meta to steal and plug last season, the tripple M including Models just took all skill out of the game.. That's how i experience it and is the conclusion i make when trying to look at it objectively. The only times I die is to a Model coming out of nowhere to 1-hit me cuz i just killed his teammates or finished a team-fight and steal the box or cashout. And the few times i get killed by another weapon i can honestly say i choked or got outplayed.
if I block the player it specifically means that I DONT WANT TO BE MATCHMADE INTO THE SAME TEAM IN THE VERY NEXT GAME, how hard is this to understand

Mesh Shield shoukd slightly repel players. At least of other teams. Make it so it is distinguished from dome shield and with the HP it has atm it wouldn't be OP but it'd make drawing aggro a lot easier as being able to repel people is a good instigator.
doing that would imply that Embark knows what they are doing, when they in-fact do not, clearly.
Really thought this game was going to be my next counter-strike (grew up playing that game 10s of thousands of hours spent) and now im just waiting for the next game to put my time into because this one isn't worth it anymore. Embark continues to make the most brain dead decisions, takes half a year to fix glaring issues, zero attempts made to fix the trash netcode (90% of the problems with the game stem from this), doesn't ever buff anything but just continues to nerf everything, and the fun along with it. 1400 hours since launch, 1700 hours since alpha and I just can't anymore. I really hope Mecha Break comes out soon because I need something else to play now.
Used to have a lot faith in this dev team back in alpha and beta, it was obviously misplaced. I love the idea of this game, but Embark is more concerned with selling skins and making the game generic shooter #8598 than fixing and improving the game that was actually fun to play at one point. I've been saying this literally since season 1, but I have no patience for this teams incompetence anymore. After I complete the battle pass (2 levels away) and the halloween event, I think im done at least until next season. I've never been closer to uninstalling this game as I am right now.
Stop buying skins, stop rewarding terrible devs, maybe they will eventually get the hint, but I seriously doubt it based on track record alone.
I don't the model is all that oppressive. And I think there are proper tradeoffs for the models damage including its ammo count, slow fire rate, slow reload speed, and lowered range. RPG should be lower than the dmg from the model bc it is a gadget that pretty much doesn't require aim.
Playing AKM against model has become a lot easier for me at least. I have not touched the model all that much since the beginning of S4 anymore and have started to use AKM. Just like I had to adjust to playing against pike and the medium ARs while I was playing model, I had to adjust with using the AKM against model. I'm not going to take those close range fights as often, and if we're in an enclosed space, I'm going to use windows and drag models out to bait them. In all honesty, it really isn't that bad facing model with an AKM or even with sword (which I have also been using).
I feel like ppl who are arguing that model is so good at finishing a 3rd party push are also just frustrated bc model kills are instant in that scenario. The same thing has happened to me and is very much possible with ARs and L and H weapons too, not just model.
IMO, model is only really "good" bc of the constant defib and heal-beam. You can win an encounter while playing against triple M, but once they get revives and heals in, it potentially turns into 3 v 6.
Like you metioned, all other weapons got nerfed (FCAR nerf, AKM ammo count nerf, etc). I strongly support buffs > nerfs, and I think that is a much better and sustainable solution than nerfing everything into a peashooter.

We want to nerf slam because it is unfair to melees pulling in effort come close, only to insta wiped away. That is not just lights, but other heavies and especially the medium here too.
The heavy has been hit too hard, I agree, but they had stupidly overpowered 'insta wipe moves' that were cheap.

Why nobody is talking about the pyro nade? Is one of the weakest nades of the game, we have 2 frag grenades wich you can wipe a full team and nobody is complaining about that. Put a 2 pyro nades too, or put a lower cooldow to have a new one, like 50% less time

With the new update I can no longer play as light. I play with light because it is unit with which you can really have fun, especially for the movements, but you can not play: the fat man with a rocket ti one shot, the medium man melts you in between with his guns and if you’re lucky you don’t find the guy who uses the grenade launcher. While there you are light who do nothing but die because your weapons do not harm like the Xp54.

And not to mention the mega nerf that they did to the sword, literally you do not take anyone, you pass through it but no harm, and when you make the animation of the lunging seems to use the handbrake to stop.
In my opinion they should decrease the damage of fat and increase that of light so that in a match there can be challenge and not only death for the light, the mediums are fairly balanced.

audio is fucking broken right now, I had a light JUMP down behind me, take 5 steps, stab me in the back, and then stab me again before I could even react to it. the only sound I heard in the entire encounter was the metallic shink sound the sword makes when it stabs AFTER I was already stabbed. No thump from him landing, no foot steps and no dash sound. On top of that the net code doesn't allow for human reaction time because the delay on everything is greater than 200ms (which is a fast reaction time most people don't have).

Hello Embark, please do something against quitters in SoloQ ranked. There's no way this can be abused because you are SoloQ'ing. I think it's ridicuouls I lose points and FORCED to play a really long match that I don't even get to win. Ranked is about winning matches so stop forcing us to play with one less player. I'm surprised this is not a thing yet. You guys have a long way to go in many aspects and this is one of them 💤
I think the problem with light in comp is respawn tokens. A major part of lights role: Flanking, is Just not viable with respawn tokens since reviving is often not possible if you flank and die.

- Add an indicator fro the grenade frag !
- Nerf a bit Deagle. Damage or the range.
- Reverse XP nerf. Same dmg than a M11 but slower RPM and less bullets. Just useless now. STILL USELESS AFTER YOUR "BUFF"
- Reverse mesh shield nerf
- Nerf Charge'N'Slam. Too much damage.
- Give back the rpm on the V9S but let the damage.
- Buff Light in some way they can survive more longer instead of dying in a frame or buff their DPS.
- Buff grapple. Reduce cooldown by 1 sec or add charge.
- If Hook do damage, Stun gun should do. Put damage for both of them or no damage for both of them.
- Reduce the gap between HP class. You can't balance properly a game with so much gap between HP class.
- Nerf the right clic + Dash on Light. You couldn't dash with your sword or dagger charge. Too strong.
- Nerf defib. To strong. It's litteraly the M meta.
- Mates being revive shouldn't tank bullets.
- Patch the level up bug on weapons at the end of matches.
- Kill, Assist, Revive and Objectives points should add more points in ranked. I'm done carrying a team and losing points again and again just because of a uncorrect matchmaking you did

Petition to destroy game feedback channel and change it to a submission type channel. Ppl are spamming the same message over and over and it does nothing except block real feedback. Plus, this way it limits toxic altercations between conflicting viewpoints. And only allow 1 submission per day, so they don't spam the ones who read feedback

The weapon charm "vital sign" is the wrong symbol for medicine, which I presume you were going for. The symbol you chose is the Caduceus staff of Hermes, symbol for commerce; what you wanted was the rod of aclepius, Greek god of medicine. Not a big deal and too late to fix I imagine but throwing it out there.

To the devs please fix the games colliders. So often I will go to throw an object or shoot and it will be stopped by an invisible wall. It was so bad at one point I was shooting a heavy that was hiding behind a goo wall, the heavy was mostly exposed and little of him was behind the wall and yet all my shots (and a teammates shots) were hitting the invisible collider of the goo. It is very easy to see if you test with the bow as all the arrows will hover in mid air.

I feel like many sword users dont know what its actually like to fight against sword users, esp in higher ranks, where there is more chaos and smarter players. If I can show a video I would but sword+dash issue is that its very easy to close distance, while dodging fire and do insane damage all in one combo. The only times you can shoot at these players is 0.5 secs after they dash, inbetween dash its impossible to see and shoot at them, legit a blur that before you know it is in front of you and can 280 in two hits. The only counter argument ive heard lights make is "just shoot lol" or "get good" and not any real counter arguments.

Please stop nerfing everything. I feel the TTK has gotten a lot longer, and you keep making medium and heavy classes weaker so that lights can last longer. I don't really enjoy using heavy anymore; it feels weak. Even though heavy has the most health, the majority of the weapons hit like a wet paper towel. I can understand wanting to reduce damage to balance the class, but doing so removes the advantage of having more health when you’re doing the least damage.
I love the game, but I feel like the direction it’s headed in isn’t for the better. That said, it’s not my game—I’m not making it, you guys are. I just hope it fits the image you guys want to create.

They nerfed the heal beam 😭 Trying to res from a distance was part of the fun, especially as a strategic support mechanism whilst on the Powershift platform to team players below 😦 I loved the speed of season 1 for Mediums, fast kills, fast defib, and the ranged heal beam. I love the game but it’s getting slower and lost its original high speed charm. Just my opinion but I would like to see buffs over nerfs any day of the week… I play support so FCAR, defib and now heal beam are all weaker

For crying out loud stop putting me against the top 50 players of the world, I'm not that good and it happens way too often.
Next match I played was again against top 200 players, needless to say I got destroyed, again. Practically EVERY match I played tonight has been against at least two top 200 players.
Is your MMR readjusted from time to time or are you just stuck at the level you once played at? It sure feels like the latter because I seem to only get put up against top 200 players. Maybe it's time to adjust the matchmaker so you don't have to lose 95% of the games you start. It's not fun and I can't really recommend the game to anyone right now, because if I play a match with them they get absolutely destroyed by the sweatlords that can afford to put 60 hours per week into the game. The friends I played the game with left because every match was just us against top 200 players while we were in gold/platinum.

me and my friend who both main sledge on heavy were thinking of a single change that would be a nerf AND a buff to the sledgehammer, adding knockback. two levels for the two attacks
how it would nerf: enemies would be knocked outside of your range when hit so in open spaces, it would be un-rewarding to play
how it would buff: enemies can now be strategically knocked into corners (would work well with walls and goo grenades) to ensure a kill

The performance update and improvements was an outright lie, lost -40 fps because of it, and if anything breaks it drops into the 30s
The guns wobble when you move because that's what they do in real life, and they apparently thought this would be a good mechanic to implement in their game, as it gives a more realistic/organic feeling to the way characters handle weapons. Firing on the move requires you to compensate for both the movement-induced sway as well as the recoil of each weapon. It's not punishing 'good aim', it's making 'good aim' more challenging.
they have to either be killed while stealing or stunned. the best methods ive found for it are stun gun, breach charge, or C4

With all due respect, it doesn't sound like you've tried it. The splash is tiny. You can mitigate most of the grenade damage simply by jumping in place. And there are myriad ways to counter it. Take highground, jumppad into the air, APS, run into the CL-40 user, maintain distance, juke right as they shoot (because it's a projectile...), or simply out-TTK it, because again, it has a pathetic TTK compared to every other Medium gun. Just because it has splash doesn't mean it's "braindead" -- there are unique aiming requirements and a good amount of CL-40-unique strategy when using it, but it's all overshadowed by its pathetic damage, dangerous 160 self-damage, and how dodgeable it is. Hence, again, why almost nobody uses it right now.

I think we should have a mmr for quick cash and world tour, even if it's hidden from the players. I just think this would make for fairer games and less one sided fights. I don't think that ranked should be the only mode where you can expect even matches. Obviously quick cash and WT would still have wide open grouping allowed, just would try to match based on average skill.
Would it be possible to make it so we can enter the practice range or a skirmish or death match while we wait for matches? Would be perfect for warming up or just having fun while waiting for other players. I know it would be a better reason for streamers and content creators to stay in the game between matches. Oh and with quick cash there should be an option to auto requeue.
Can we get recent players color coded some how? or at least make some more sense? It currently feels like there is no organization to it, aka by order of games played etc. Maybe group and colored by team?

Going against a team of 3 mediums is so annoying if they all have defibrillators, i feel that's way to op, maybe if more than one person has the defibrillator the res will be instant and full health but ALL defibrillators in the team go on a cooldown. Or maybe the defibrillator is something you can use once and it refreshes after a teamwipe (the res could be to full health and instant, no sharing cooldown).

I find heavy very fun personally. It’s nice to have almost unlimited ammo and not to have to worry about dying to a stiff breeze. Not to say that heavy doesn’t need a few buffs (make spear and KS-23 useful, rework winch claw, buff mesh shield), but you have plenty of good gear (C&S, goo gun, RPG, mines, motion sensor, barricades) and some solid weapons (M60, Lewis, Deagles, Flamethrower, Sledge). This is just my opinion, but I think heavy is in a fair place right now and can still offer some fun gameplay

The ttk in this game is too long to have such drastic recoil.
You've killed the medgun so bad lmao, it's impossible to play heavy in any public lobbies at all now. Not even my friends who typically heal want to use it because of how limited and finnicky it is. It wasn't enough to nerf it's effectiveness, now you gotta make it unreliable as hell too?
Also the undeserved nerfs to gaining fans using the medgun (just make it so that friendly damage healed doesn't count towards fans????) just means that Bank It is full of rat lights that fight even their own team for credits. Got flame naded by a teammate light, who proceeded to teabag me, grab the 14k coins I was carrying and "win" the game for us. You're really fostering a great and friendly community with these changes guys :)
I have fun with heavy still. Charge, Hammer, barricade, proximity, rpg.
Defib is countered with glitch mine.

I agree, they've nerfed healing beam so much and for what? Defib is the real issue
For how fast it will start dealing damage, the activation range on the turret feels a bit much. Especially with the tweaks to heal pushing more players to turret.

Agreed. Nerfs to the Pike to make it more close/medium range too, Pike is absolutely awful at close range, deagles feel more accurate and have a crazy range. Trying to land a close range, hip fire shot on a light with the Pike is going to feel impossible, especially now it’s gone from 3 to 4 shots
You know how they could of nerf the healing beam and maybe the defib?
The healing beam healing efficiency could of been reduced the more Medium Healing Beam players are in the party (like reduced the healing efficiency by 5 per second per player up to 3 stack)

Just experienced some MAJOR game-breaking lag. Only seemed to effect the PC players in the game, too.
Id say the heal beam as it is now seems just about right and if defib became a specialization i dont know any one that would use it.
Embark please give charge and slam a LOUD visual indicator. I think it's insane how this big heavy can run through 50 walls and make no noise basically and delete you from the game
funny how a little shove from charge does more damage than taking 8 shotgun pellets to the face. lmao
