Melee on med could use QoL changes and tons of fixes. Medium is a support class and shouldn't really be running around looking for kills let alone with melee
so the infinite loading screen bug is still not fixed, new kind of hackers now :P,

qol stuff needs to be implemented for longevity. having to go to 3rd party shit just to have things set up the way u eany and running a risk for a ban is not the moves. things like custom games browser/ map maker, crosshair custimization, the works, is why something as abysmal as overwatch can sustain itself for so long. Here's my feedback for the day:
I like playing with no HUD but its very glitchy and doesn't support playing in cashout very well ( doesn't show you cashboxes, ally outlines dissapear sometimes, cant respawn ). It would be cool to see a simplified or minimalist version of the regular HUD or be able to customize it ourselves in the options menu.
theres a glitch where i sometimes cant run up stairs, it keeps getting me killed mildly frustrating to say the least
There is one specific set of stairs on kyoto that's just broken
KS23 nerf is way overboard. It's actually useless now. If you're going to make it only do 100 damage per slug at least get rid of projectile speed and make it hitscan too. It's just a worse 1887 at this point.

Sure, they have a secondary purpose of being defensive, but, that doesnt mean they cant be good offensively, either way, both the weapons suck right now and could use some buffs
Embark you need to pump out balancing changes more consistently. I feel that a lot of people have left because of how neglected the balancing is. On top of that, you have technical issues that make the game harder to enjoy.
Gamemodes are a bit of a problem too. Removing Cashout from the casual pool was also a big mistake in my opinion. To me it seems like both the casual and competitive playerbases are upset, which is why S3 hasn't been performing as well as S2. This is how I feel anyway, I really want this game to succeed but there are issues that should be addressed way sooner.

Please make the arrow hitbox bigger and/or make the arrows pass through shields. The bow has no consistent niche, sucks when you get jumped, and can easily be walled by any form of barrier because you cant chase, you cant do well in close quarters, and you have no consistent hitscan damage

SOLO MODE IDEA: Have all the cashout points open at all times in every location and make the timer faster on all of them to cash out. Then have around 5 cash out boxes live at all times. This will mean people will be able to rotate around the map and it will be a lot of fun!
P.S Also give us a Death match on smaller sections of the maps 😁🤘

New Bank it is great. It feels like that should be the mode that is promoted to new players. It softly introduces the idea of acquire/deposit/ hold a defensive position on objective, while still remaining mostly a kill fest. As players get more comfortable they can move on to the flag ship mode.
I remember when we dropped a new game mode mid season for S2. Maybe this is wishful thinking on my part but maybe we can drop another new game mode mid season?

I understand that Bank-It has moved slower to a TDM style mode with the recent changes but maybe this mode I've been mentioning may have a shot at being a "good" mix of casual gameplay with some team play considerations.

Here is an idea for a new game mode in The Finals, inspired by Hardpoint
CORE PRINCIPLES:
Appeal to new players:
Faster respawns and a focus on maintaining control of a designated area make it easier for new players to jump into The Finals and contribute.
Fast-paced and engaging:
Short to medium length matches and constant objective switching keep the action flowing, as well as short respawn times.
Teamwork encouraged:
Earning money is based on team presence within the zone, rewarding coordinated pushes and revives.
- I believe the long respawns in every game mode has turned away a lot of people. "Fast paced & Chaotic" don't seem palatable when mixed with high respawn times. I understand we want to incentivise team work, revives, and strategy but I think a game mode with fast respawns is well overdue in a game like The Finals.
GAMEPLAY:
Team Setup:
3 teams of 4 players.
If possible - 3 teams of 5?
- Here I want to increase team size because I feel like people want bigger team sizes in The Finals to play with more friends. Also we might want a lot of concentrated destruction.
I feel like 3 teams of 4 would not be too much and would be fun for a casual game mode.
(Also would effect the size of zone and balance which is fine since all of this is just a concept)
Blitz Zone:
A designated area on the map becomes the objective ("Blitz Zone" or whatever it ends up being named). It can be circular, shaped like a building, or highlighted by a beam.
Earning Money:
Teams earn money based on the number of players within the Blitz Zone. More teammates present translates to exponentially higher earnings per tick.
Example:
-One person in the area will earn the base amount of points - $10 per tick
-Two people earn the base amount of $10 per tick PLUS $5 each (since there are 2 team mates inside.)
-Three people all earn the base amount of $10 per tick PLUS a bonus of $10 each (since there are 3 team mates inside
-Full team will receive a base amount of $10 per tick PLUS a bonus of $15 or $20 EACH (since there is a full team alive in the zone)
Penalties & Rewards:
"Direct Deposit" - Kills have a small siphon effect where you take money from the enemy you killed and it's added to your teams total balance.
NOTE: Only kills between players inside the Blitz Zone have siphon effect. ✨Clutch players REJOICE✨
"Team wipe" aka "Bankruptcy" - Same as cashout, you loose a percentage of your teams balance if your whole team is dead at the same time.
OR bankruptcy can have a short lock-out effect where a team might not be able to earn for a short period of time after respawning.
("Bankruptcy" might be too much for a casual mode since it makes another variable to calculate mid gunfight. Might but be good for the gamer that wants to just shut their brain off. If they play this and don't care about score tm8s will complain and ruin the mood... Maybe this is an idea for a less casual mode🤷🏾♂️)
Match Duration:
The game lasts between 5-10 minutes with the Blitz Zones active for 2-4 minutes each before switching to a new location.
Suggestion:
For all casual modes, turn on auto Re-que. It's a wise decision.
This is a starting point, and all aspects of Blitz are open for discussion and refinement.

The RPG self dmg was low before, and it was really bad for a heavy to be able to easily take out a medium or light, possibly even a team with a low penalty.
With 140dmg to self, a heavy would literally have 210 health left over, it was simply an unfair fight.
It makes sense as it is.

Heavy has no mobility, lights and mediums jump into heavy’s face so they don’t miss, making rpg useless. Self dmg being more than max dmg just makes no sense, rpg doesn’t have perfect aim, there’s some rng where the rocket goes. Game is very unbalanced
all of the music has been great so far but I do wish it captured the spirit of the first seasons music more, season ones music can only be described as literally what playing the game feels like

So I just played 3 games. 2 of them 3-4 teammates quitted after our team suffered a Team Wipe.
I think it might be because one of the contract/missions requires 12/TWELVE rounds won.
It ruins the game.
Can we stop having contracts with win conditions? Or at least lessen them or mix them with alternative conditions?
Reasons to not have contracts with x number of win condition:
- Quitters will increase especially in quick play (ex. power shift)
- Cheaters have not been completely dealt with so players feel extra sting when losing to cheaters and then losing on fulfillment of contract.
- Increases incentive to cheat just to get gear/equipment.
I don't know if the win conditions is to prevent lazy/sleazy players who dont contribute but it ain't working if we got quitters because of it.

It seems Data Reshaper doesn't get exp correctly. No matter how many items are reshaped during a match, the exp gained is the same based on the length of the match and just having it equipped.

"Man, what a waste of time."
Several possible outcomes:
- "We could've won. Let me blame my teammates." - becomes toxic or leaves (to find "better" team)
- "This game wastes my time." <- worse, because this affects stay of players or spending on cosmetics (which a lot consider for long-term but may be avoided if long-term thinking dreads time being wasted)
All because of win condition contracts. It's ridiculous.
Please consider behavioral science and incentive-making.
This game can be fun but forcing people to take up certain weapons, play certain modes, or do inconsistent/unreliable contracts (which win conditions are due to uncertainty in teammates [which if forced may discourage solo players] and in dealing with cheaters [worse because feels like win is stolen if opponents have cheater OR strangely celebrated but encourages cheating if cheater is a teammate])

I’m starting to get the feeling no one like Melee and never want the meta to change for what it’s be for 3 seasons
-3 Teams of 4
-Switching between multiple areas of interest (like in HardPoint)
-Areas can be a mix of cover and open field.
-Team wipes are still in the game mode
Respawn times are 5 seconds (generally low AF respawn times)
-The more people on the point the team earns exponentially more money
-Kills between players in the point are siphoned off to the opposite team.
-Every team can earn at the same time, but, the team with the most skills will win more often.
Had to break it down for you. I got you tho.
Zip lines & Jump pads can be useful for getting back to the point and earning money.
Baracades, Mesh&Dome shields may be useful for bunkering down and fighting on the point for maximum earning.
Light class burst damage and mobility may be useful for siphoning off points.
AND THATS JUST THE BEGINNING OF THE STRATEGY BUILDING. I could go on about how this new mode could incorporate each gadget.
Bro make demat work correctly and as expected when used. Its the only SPECIAL ability that can just completely fuck you because of the maps. Making me use all 3 charges to get through a single wall because its 3 triangles instead of a block is just ass.
The model can't go up against a single gun with a halfway decent shooter behind it. Most guns can kill you before you can get a second shot off.
Cloak is extremely overpowered in high elo lobbies. Sniper battles where milliseconds matter. You CANNOT see invisible snipers nearly well enough. I shouldnt be required to run sonar. You shouldnt be able to ADS with a sniper while invis. It's not just moments like this. The crowd outside the arena has cameras flashing all the time which looks much like the sniper glare. It's just not consistent
Can we get a level 7 heal beam? Is there a reason it's the only thing in the whole game without a level 7 skin?
Not to just add to this train but bring back cash out ranked. I hope Embark has been making the changes it needs for this to be a thriving esport gamemode.
Horizon needs some variations like some underground instead of that dead black street with minimal cover, or some glitchy void that kills whoever who falls (with floating cubes and glitchy structures)

Thermal vis is a great counter at midrange. depending on weather conditions I can usually start to see cloaked lights around the 60m mark (although very faintly, to see them reliably at that range you kinda have to ADS) I always run it on my sniper - I love hearing the cloak sound close to me, flicking on thermal and thinking to myself (oh boy this mf is about to get the surprise of his life).
Learn how to bait peek - when im watching angles I try to position myself in such a way that I can only get sniped from my FOV, and somewhere that has access to cover. Strafe in Strafe Out, know what to look for. If they're standing still then theres not much you can do other than to bait them to ADS so you can see a glint. Don't overpeek and hold ADS too long. quick ins quick outs if you need to ADS at all. Learn the spawn sites on each map - write them down, have that handy until it becomes burned into your brain
I could go on for paragraphs... If you know a good sniper, ask them for advice, or just go in the light hangout discord and ask around

When are we going to stop getting dual blades skins, skins for a weapon very few people use, when there's still heavily used gear out there with no skins at all? This is the 5th dual blades skin we've gotten this season and xp54 still has no battle pass skins. Not only that, but this new protocol core set? Yeah, it looks visually cool; holy fuck that model looks like a pain for the ALREADY BROKEN hitreg system. This season is crashing and burning in the worst possible way and I really hoped this wouldn't happen to the game, but the cosmetics were one of the last bastions of hope for The Finals, because they're so cool, and those are being ruined too.

Just went against a full light team in a plat lobby and I can confirm the dual blades are useless if the enemy team can press buttons, not only do you get extremely out dpsed by most of the light weapons if you even get close enough because good luck with that if the light is aware your there, and if you try blocking you better hope it reflects (It wont 90% of the time)

this game needs a total rework. lights stay invis till after they kill you, explosives do more damage to you than anyone or thing else, cheaters in atleast every 3rd match. damage in practice is not the damage that gets delt in the game. getting 2 shot with throwing knives when 5 shots from the cl-40 hitting right where they are standing doesnt even deal half damage to a light. balance is totally off.

you get technically m0lested by the matchmaking system for it, because it uses the data that's 1-2 weeks old without thinking about the fact that you wouldn't immediately play like you did 1-2 weeks ago.
that's why i hate SBMM, it only uses data (in a really dumb way to) without thinking about how old the data itself is.
the only way to (maybe) break free from that problem is to play with friends, just sucks for you if your friends don't play the finals rn...
please change killstealing to the one who did the most damage or just that both get the kill who did enough damage. Got one elem while I did most damage and deserve to have 4 kills -_-

You can still bug out when you get winched... So not only is it one of the most toxic interactions that nobody asked for (literally free kills for the strongest class) it can also ruin your entire match and force you to reconnect to play the game.
I applaud the bug fixes made by Embark, the fellas don't even know if they fixed the infinite loading screen bug or not; Completely clueless team.
To be precise this bug adds an insane latency in your movement, doesn't let you interact, can't use the ability, no sliding animation, can't mantle. So you're basically forever winched. And this has been there since the season dropped.
How did this thing even make it to the game? Do playtests even exist? If they do are the testers just afk in the main menu to finish their quota or something? Every updates adds more bugs and doesn't fix ones from Season 1...

Ammo management is important in most shooters, and the finals is fairly lenient with ammo.
H only maybe buff the damage of lewis and M60 by 1 or 2 or revert the recoil
Heavy's weapons are kinda fine. Recoil is inconvenient because for the some reason embark thinks making the weapons feel bad = balance. M60 could use something at most.
i really lack the option to try out a skin in the practice range to test it and to see if i would like it. i also would like a button to refund a skin lets say i have 3 tickets. when i refund a skin i use one ticket and one ticket regenerates after about 3 months and to refund a skin you have to do it before 24 hours pass after the purchase. (pls embark add this into the game)

Whoever decided there needed to be a challenge for destroying the environment should get a nice kick in the family jewels. I've had several matches in a row where 1 or more players, whether on my team or the other, essentially afks by just playing a heavy with the sledge and running around destroying the environment not helping at all. Happens way too often in Power Shift especially.

The hook needs to be reworked, or the sledgehammer needs some adjustments. The combination of these two is overpowered. The huge hook range and the long stun after being hooked give you a free kill against any class (except the heavy)
no Medium runs the FCAR over the AKM because it has no redeeming qualities and is just a downgrade to the AKM after the Nerfs it got, it has no identity of its own.
TKs are braindead easy to use, they are way too spamable and promote an absolutely stupid playstyle that doesnt fit light at all, they deserve to be nuked
Winch Claw is absurdly toxic and shouldve never been created, just feels like instead of creative ideas yall took something from overwatch (roadhog hook) and ported it into this game, without thinking of the environment that this kind of ability is balanced around in overwatch at all.
XP-54 Screenshake bug unfortunately still not fixed 5+ weeks into the season, also only happens on PC, but other massive bugs also havent been fixed, infinite cloak bug from CLOSED BETA is still a thing.
Terminal attack is a terrible gamemode and was nothing but wasted resources that couldve gone into doing any kind of change to cashout, cashout got nothing since open beta but neglect, while TA has gotten more changes this season alone.
Its a terrible ranked mode, anti fun and anti the finals and shouldve been an LTM at max, its not even worth the permanent mode spot that power shift got.
also as a light main, stun gun is still unfun to fight, remove the screenshake on aiming with it so you can actually beam a light after getting stunned, these mfs spamming stun every fight (cuz its on a 15s cooldown for some reason) make casuals quit and its not fun to play against.
So tired of every matches i played, doing the highest damage wtih the worst teammates, embark works for youtr team balance please

I would like to suggest an enhancement to the grapple feature. Currently, the grapple mechanism could be improved by allowing players to hang from objects while using it, similar to a grapple gun. This would increase the functionality and usability of the grapple feature, making it a more appealing option for players. There are a few cheezy abilities/weapons that I'd tune a bit

Next is the throwing knives... I would prefer a rework over nerfs. I'd want the primary fire to be a single knife thrown at a time, meanwhile the secondary can remain the same. Would also like if they had ammo, so it needs a short reload after using 15 or so of them.
And I still believe that a longer cooldown on evasive dashes would make them a much more high risk high reward option then they are now, which is quite spammable and annoying

Once both cash boxes are in for world tour a shield wall needs to go up in the center of the map to prevent third and fourth partying. - 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored four bullets every second, 50 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

- discouragement of posts that are extremely general, unspecific, or just whining and complaining.
- harsher mutes/punishments (1 week -> 2 week -> 4 week mutes from the channel, increasing severity for repeat offenders) to ensure that its actually feedback / legitimate ideas
- prevent repeat posts within the same week (so people with the same idea / concept can find and support, rather than make duplicate posts about the same issue)
- everyone can vote, but only people with "X role"+ can make posts (prevents spambots etc.)

The patch notes said they fixed 1 single instance of this bug, not every cause. If you want to help them, send them your player name, the match ID and the approx time in your timezone that it happened. debugging isn't as easy as you seem to think it is.

i used to main fcar back when it had 25 damage, it felt like a high risk high reward option with a small error margin from the small magazine
the whole trade off was mainly magsize for damage, everything else was irrelevant
the difference in recoil is minimal
ig yea the red dot is easier to use but the ak irons are pretty easy to get used to after a while
the range is also pretty irrelevant because most engagements are close to mid range, fcar has a slightly better time lasering at long mid range but it can still be done with ak
the ttk is only minimal in data because it doesn't account for actual combat
after the nerf, the akm is objectively better to use than the fcar, it has 1.5 times the magsize of fcar, pretty equal damage and hs multi, and the recoil isn't that much worse

Can we get am in match report option or something? How does the system work, cause I was just in game with a dude who blatantly had aimbot, ect, and in order for me to report him, I have to sit through a game against a cheater, otherwise I'm penalized for leaving, meanwhile if he decides to leave mid match, I can't report him when it's over if he gets replaced
i belive change step on TA for diamond inn 40k... is a good meta for all player...most players stay at 30k-43k
there is an in-match report, you can also report when the match ends using the button beside their name on the scoreboard OR from the social/recent menu on the main menu regardless of if they left the round or not.

I just played a world tour I joined in and had no teamates befote the game even started. No one ever joined so I left now I have a 10 min suspension. Maybe put something in if you dont have teamates you dont get a penalty.
daily reminder that the winch claw is more toxic than season 1 stun gun and should have never been put in the game. "since heavies are slow, lets give them the ability to grab people from 18 meters away so I can then one-shot them with a hammer" Heavy is such a noob oriented class and the winch just confirms it. being good with sledge actually took map knowledge, game sense, positioning and skill. Now any scrub can get 20 kills a match with sledge just running out in the open.
Yeah akm is easier to use and that's about it honestly. Plus the more bullets means you get more in fight capability, for like suppression and just getting multiple kills (without reload) etc

i just checked the community wiki and the numbers right now are minimally close(like one bullet close), also comparing OBJECTIVE objective facts when talking about something so nuanced as combat effectiveness doesn't really make sense. Yes, you can use facts to create theoreticals: The fcar is better than the akm when... The thing is, the stats in the wiki and any other data collector are done in controlled environments where things are ideal. I'm not demeriting your opinion. I'm just saying it doesn't make sense in comparison to my experience of hundreds of hours on both guns when I climbed to plat+ S2. And for the record, they're my most leveled guns as well. I don't notice huge differences in recoil and ttk because I've gotten used to both guns where I can generally perform around the same with both. However, for me, the damage of the two have the nearly the same effect when hitting headshots and in ttk. Which is why the Akm feels better with a larger magazine

i generally agree, except for the top posts/week and promotion of posts (except for concepts/ideas for new stuff). the thing with feedback is its usually only people speaking up about the stuff they don't like, find OP, or whatever. that gives a skewed view or reality. promoting those posts makes it worse probably.

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam
The recoil on the FCAR is asinine. Same with the Lewis. The M60 needs a damage buff. The ks32 needs its rate of fire increased.
If you want to return to cashout in a competitive mode you should remove the third party and balance the heavy stack!!!
A proposal I give is that for each duplicate class, those who use that class will have 15% to 20% of their life or damage removed.

When a player has been hit by it, it should be canceled If the player collides with an object in the environment. The hook shouldn't be able to pull players through walls, stairs, etc.

For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:
"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:

-Engimo
-Ospuze
Etc.
During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".
(Gives me reason to hop back on the game, me and my friends are working towards a goal now. +++ Add Bonus Points for playing with company mates)
This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show AND this gives people a reason to play with friends and implore their friends to hop on The Finals with them.
Create specialized cosmetics for these sponsors. Once your company selects one they are locked in for specialized one-time cosmetics.
This creates urgency AND rarity since -for example- the season 4 OSPUZE set will never show up again. (Same for Engimo, Vaiiya, etc.)

Winch claw needs a rework: it should still interrupt specializations, but not primary weapon or gadget usage; enemies should still be able to attack you while you pull them in. Instead of stunning, the winch claw should simply retract quicker, so it's more instant and to justify the moment of vulnerability when initially sending out the claw. I think this simple solution would make the winch claw more balanced against all classes.
"Bank It" game mode desperately needs team wipes reinstated. Without team wipes, cash boxes are constantly camped by teams, reducing competitive integrity. The absence of team wipes, despite shorter respawn times, results in chaotic gameplay with everyone active simultaneously. This diminishes strategic depth and player engagement and defeats the purpose of revives, as players are immediately overwhelmed by the continuous presence of opponents.
Previously, team wipes encouraged dynamic, strategic battles at cashouts, where teams collaborated to prevent opponents from banking their coins. Reinstating team wipes would revive this crucial element, making gameplay more fluid and exciting. The current setup, without team wipes, is static and predictable, stripping away the game's essential tactical challenges. To restore "Bank It's" appeal, team wipes must be brought back.

Before these changes, Bank it was just a mediocre version of cashout and TDM. Now it’s a The Finals version of kill confirmed. A lot of people wanted a TDM and now they have it. How it is now, gives people a space where they can focus on loudouts and combat, and dont feel a fuck ton of pressure to avoid a team wipe or whatever. Changing it to a genuinely casual mode was a genius idea and it should stay that way. The changes were good for the games player base and accessibility.
Slowmode is enabled so I’ll also take this moment to say that people bitching about third partying or any sort of spontaneous dynamism in cashout are boring. Some of us enjoy having to think on the fly and play whatever cards get dealt. If you start getting third parties and you can tell you’re gunna lose, retreat and go for the other cashout, or wait for the two teams to kill each other and then jump back in. Use your brain, get creative.
Stop trying to turn cashout into every other basic mode in every other game.

I think the mgl32 really needs an improvement in the timing of the explosion after banking off an object. It’s too long. I actually love using the thing just because it’s chaotic and can be rewarding. But omg it travels so far after banking off a surface. It is very limiting on how you can use it.

I'm sure there is nothing to the massive influx of sword dash lights in every lobby and winching sledges. The fact that you don't need to be any where near these weapons to get damaged by them is just big brain embark bullshit. The counters to melee is gaining distance--which invisibility, dashing and winching negate is again some of the dumbest game design I've seen. The season has been balancing hell and it seems like the entirety of Embark on of those 9 week European vacation.

just played against a cheater who turned on wallhacks mid game because they were losing 4-0. Please do something about this, it was so obvious because the guy had 1 kill through 4 rounds then got 18 kills by the end of the game. He knew exactly where I was even if I was on a very out of the way flank that no one would check (and he didn't at the beginning when he wasn't cheating), and he was prefiring with a sniper (which is kind of ridiculous). This is sad to see because cheaters just ruin competitive especially when they can run around unchecked.

i've played a lot of games over the years and i've seen everything from devs re: game balance. the balancing in this game is abysmal. i don't think i've seen a single meta improvement from MMH actually. that's impressive because that meta was awful! now, for example, i shouldn't be able to use a sniper more effectively than an FCAR or LMG in CQB. good luck hitting me once as i fly around you!

Buff dual blades they suck
I don't even know what is going on with this game anymore. Had a match of Terminal Attack where me and my friend who are lvl 50+ get matched with a lvl 1, 2, and 3 players. And obviously, they're pretty bad teammates, because they're new. But I'm not new, so why am I getting matched with them? Then we switch to power shift, and I kid you not, THREE matches in a row, constant issues with shots not registering, players feeling unkillable while I somehow get one or two tapped by lights as a medium. And at the end of every single match (four matches in power shift in total), the lowest lvl player on our team somehow has the highest combat score on the team despite not doing anything notable while the higher lvl teammates are playing aggresively and using the different abilities and gadgets as well as possible. Again, I don't know how to properly diagnose these issues, but it seems to me like something in the game just makes it impossible to reach a certain level of performance. Seems like if we win one match, the next one is literally impossible to win no matter how well the team works together. Very frustrating. This game used to be extremely fun and it feels like the longer it's out, the more it caters to timmy-no-thumbs, or the kids who literally do nothing but play this one game all day.

Right now, from the players end? I see two problems:
- The hack rate is off the charts right now. I am seeing everything from AimBot to BotFind being used. I am surprised that Nexon's anti-chest doesn't pick those up.
- Folks logging off before a match ends. This isn't the same as the "UE5 Discovery errors, as it is blatantly obvious that folks are trying to prevent having any losses on their records. This is the most "Blue Falcon " BS I see on this game. Something should be done, like XP SUSPENSIONS or something.

Have to be the bearer of bad news but winch bug (for light sword at least) still exists. I was holding lunge, got winched, and when I respawned I had a delay to every input, couldn’t use my specialization or interact or use anything on the emote wheel. Please do some more digging into this.
Something seriously needs to be done about lights, there’s no way a light can dropped an entire heavy’s hp with just an mp5 and I can barely do anything to fight it, the moment I start any fight with a light I’m already half hp, there’s no need for light to be doing all this, heavies are pretty much becoming more and more useless

I really think Lights are starting to ruin the game. All my group think so too.
They're the fastest class, with the smallest hitbox, fastest TTK, fastest regen, and most evasive skills. All for less health, which hardly matters if you can't hit them, and they can kill you just as quickly as you can them anyway.
They can also uniquely disable your abilities and lock you in place, and now even have excellent destruction with the Thermal Bore. Fuck it! Why not give Heavies invisibility while you're at it?
But the worst aspect of all this is it rewards the type of player (and playstyle) that is in opposition to everything interesting and fun about the game.
Lights never play the objective. They never stick with their teams. They're always the most toxic players in a lobby, and just turn everything into a tiresome and mindless TDM. They suck all the fucking joy out of a match when they hit critical numbers.
To the point that it can feel like playing Domination on CoD where you're the only person trying to cap an objective while the rest of the lobby mindlessly kill farms you for being stupid enough to play the game as intended. It makes you feel like an idiot who's just wasting their time.
STOP PANDERING TO THESE TYPES OF PLAYERS. If I wanted to experience this bullshit, i'd go back to CoD.

Yes, I understand they were underrepresented in Ranked in S2. But that had nothing to do with the class. It was because the people playing it weren't interested in teamwork, so were getting demolished by people who were. The issue was the playertype, not the class.
What the buffs have done is create a class that is so strong that it can dominate games without the help of teammates in a team-focused game.

Totally buttfu*k ranked players by removing ranked from the game and adding a half baked experimental mode as the only alternative where Lights thrive in so people think we fixed the balance changes by forcing a light meta and then call it a day and have 90% of the team holiday on Ibiza and only release empty patches in s3 that don't mention any of the massive blunders that embark made. No balance, no content, no apologies, no sorrow for ruining an amazing game.

i dont think this is controversional but if sword heavy swing can hit multiple people at one, so should the others (dagger and sledgehammer), dont pick your favorite melee weapon and give it special treatment, make sledgehammer a really good close range weapon and for dagger, i have never seen one person ever complain about dagger, let a lone a 1 in a million chance of having two people sitting side by side while not knowing youre there so you can backstab multiple people, just give dagger something to where its not inconsistent and clunky.

Winch Claw feels amazing to use but can feel terrible to play against because it can so easily become an inevitable and inescapable death, especially for L/M classes.
WC should not be a free effective oneshot, like old Roadhog. It should be a displacement tool - for players and objects - that aids CQB but doesn’t grant it excessive power.
The best way to nerf its effectiveness against players without harming its object utility would be to prevent it from pulling players any closer than, say, 8-10m. This would give winched players the space and opportunity to more effectively fight back or flee without instantly suffering extreme damage.
It would remove the often inescapable melee/flamer death, reduce the effectiveness of the easy and extreme SA12 bursting, and make it much harder to land the final blow with the KS23. All of which are the most oppressive and frustrating elements for opposing players.
The commonly suggested nerf of reducing its maximum range would not address these oppressive aspects and would hurt its utility when it comes to objects such as cashouts, revive totems, etc.
The other common suggestion of a cast animation would also not address the oneshots and would punish the user excessively given it already takes ~1s to use, resulting in majorly negative value upon a miss. It would also change the fairly even Dash matchup into a hard counter.
This change would also allow Mesh Shield to be of some use to the winched player given some distance would be maintained between the two players, as opposed to the current iteration which is simply a hard counter.
Embark Need to nerf the sniper. It has no bulletdrop and massive hitscan. I know it‘s fun to use but it is too op. When you noscope the bullet
I used to play Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
They released a meta-wrecking character the day before Thanksgiving, then everyone went on holiday for a week.
Then claimed they didn't have enough time before Christmas to fix it, before everyone went on holiday again for two weeks.
It was eventually 3 months before they fixed it. By which point they'd lost a ton of their playerbase. My whole group quit and never came back.
It's insane in the days of live service games that companies think closing down the entire studio for weeks at a time is a responsible thing to do. Especially when those holidays coincide with their players' holidays, so are peak times for the community.
Is it really that hard to just stagger holidays? Do airports shut down for 3 weeks in summer? Or hotels? Or hospitals? It's insane.

Please nerf lights accuracy and/or create large damage falloff. On weapons like the xp54, it was meant so that a light would have to risk itself to get kills, but the evasive dash, and the inhumane ttk completely remove that element. It really doesent help that it is the hardest class to hit as well. I played light for a few games, and they were the easiest games of my life. It wasn’t fun though because all I could think about was how miserable I must have made the enemies who were pretty skilled in their own classes feel. Light needs a buff in some areas as well. I’m not saying to make the class worse than it is, but it is honestly too powerful in its current state. So here are some suggestions.
- remove the stun gun’s ability to stop a CASHOUT steal.
- lower the general accuracy of all guns but the bow and the sniper.
- massively lower the headshot damage on the throwing knives.
- lower the movement speed, recharge speed, and range of the evasive dash.
- increase the classes running speed by 10 percent
- increase the duration of the recon grenades scan
- increase the vertical effectiveness of the evasive dash

- initial damage from 130 to 50
- each bump in the charge does 20 damage more than the last

Penalised for leaving a match again after teammates bail and dont reconnect. Game says no penalties apply for leaving because teammates already left, but receive a 10 min suspension anyway. Happens every time...
Evasive Dash was and has been fine since s1, stun gun not stopping a cashout steal is a bad take tbh cuz now ur promoting it to be a free kill option for Lights rather than a utility tool

These Embark ap*s nerfed the light melee literally to the ground already and made it unplayable in the competitive space.
Prior to the nerfs here is what we have to deal with :
Heavy counter to melee light
- Goo gun
- Mines
- having literal sh*t to nof hp to slash through
- Flamethrowers
- And if you miracurously managed to dodge all the teamnates and get close to him and managed to almost kill him of course he can just press a simple Q and instal kill you
Medium counter to melee light
- Jumpad
- Mines that literally one shot you and you just put them in a corridor and it's over
- And they had the audacity to introduce a glitch trap that literally has no use other then countering melee light for the dashes that makes the light frankly a sitting duck
Light counter to melee light
- Having a dash
- A simple stun gun which unlike with weapons make you uanble to respond any way not that they removed the ability to move with dash again so it's an instant kill
Besides these, they also removed any mechanics from the sword like
- Emote cancelling (which I agree with as it is an exploit)
- Gadget swapping which is a hard skill expression and they are literal braindeads for removing it and adding more and more counters to other classes
We are talking about melee for f*ck sake we are bringing words into a gun game how can you be this mentally challenge to nerf it to the ground and introduce more and more counters
All that to say if you are stil lgetting killed by melee enough to come here and complain you are beyond saving and should just stick to playing the braindead heavy with charge n slam.

Dead go boom turned every sword dasher into an unstoppable kamikaze. Wasn’t fun for either side. Low gravity however is awesome for those who know how to use it. Flying all the way across the map with an angled jump pad is probably the most satisfying thing in this entire game.

- Dagger has a 1 second wind up and doesn't one shot heavies btw, only works on the back with a horrible hit registration.
- Sword has a 1 second downtime, so under PERFECT CONDITIONS you kill a medium in 2 seconds, enough time to kill light like 3 times in a row.
The rest literally can't kill medium or heavy in less than a second and lose every TTK check against other classes, the only outlier is DB one shotting lights. 🤷

The model 1887 has been ghosting shots for the better part of three weeks and the devs literally don’t give a shit. I’ve ghosted shots on people standing 1 m in front of me. I’ve ghosted over half of the pellets from the shots on stationary heavies, completely in the bounds of my crosshair. I dropped 30 kills in world tour with the AK no problem. I absolutely struggle to get DAMAGE ON ENEMIES with the 1887 and it needs to be addressed in the next patch. The game is slowly turning into unplayable nonsense with invisible lights and cockroach heavies. What happens to prime season one? What happened to actually trying to balance the game?
XP is what people would calp Light's most all around type of weapon which is arguably one of Light's best utility, I'm just saying there is a huge counter to Lights in general and people need to stop complaining otherwise this community will crumble

Anecdotal evidence means nothing, it has a very slow reload time, you’re reloading more than you are using the weapon. Model has a faster reload, higher damage and its hitscan.

You guys learned your lesson with the FCAR, why is it so hard to transfer that knowledge to the lewis gun? it is still better than the m60, but has obnoxious recoil and a negligibly smaller mag. So, it sounds like you think it would be absurd for one class to not be able to win 1v1s. Then we agree that it is absurd for neither mediums nor heavies to be able to consistently win 1v1s against lights, all mitigating factors being even.
It’s no secret that the coinciding heavy and medium nerfs, and light buffs were an over correction resulting in lights being OP.
I play light just as often as I play heavy or medium. I’m not a dweeb that over-identifies with a particular class or playstyle. It just doesn’t make sense for one class to have the fastest movement, smallest hitbox, and most damage output to the point that they can melt through any opposition in 1.5 seconds or less, while it takes the enemy like 2-3 seconds. Oh, they also have faster regen, invisibility, wall hacks, and two range weapons that never have to reload…
That said, I don’t even think they need to nerf lights. Just fix the LMGs, FCAR, Dual Blades, and KS32.

Season 1 light was the perfect one. Needed skill to play but now its just a braindead character. In Ranked TA Light is broken AF. 95% of (Platinum, Diamond & Ruby) are Light players. This itself says how unfair Light class is especially in TA. And the HP regen cap of 100 is another unfair thing where Light regains 66% of HP back, medium gets only 40% hp and heavy gets only 28% hp.

Aim better, but in a sense you are right. Throwing knives need a huge damage nerf and the m11 needs a SLIGHT (emphasis on slight recoil nerf ) , because the reload speed is at 1.7 insanely fast for reengagement with multiple enemies or security in tight places to zip around with dash.

These changes don't really change much balance wise. The only reasons I can think of that people complain about light more is that there isn't a proper comp mode and that heavy doesn't have overpowered weapons anymore.
They are the most versatile and useful gadgets that are also easy to use. I'm pretty sure you also unlock them automatically when you start the game as well.

That incredibly annoying winch claw bug that completely disables your specialization, ability to interact with anything, open doors, mantle, etc is back. in TA. the attackers should still have to plant the key if they kill all the defenders, just like the defenders still have to defuse the terminal if the attackers plant it. If the attackers take too long because the defenders successfully stall long enough then that should be on them. This would somewhat even if only a little bit help reduce how much of a deathmatch TA is.
Also, I think that the terminals timer should extend when defusing it, it takes 6 or 7 seconds to defuse the terminal, which means if the timer for the match hits 6 seconds, you give up because there is no reason to even try. If the timer extended then it would encourage giving it your all to the last second.

Sniper is shit. It's only good on TA - A horribly balanced mode where burst damage is king with no hp regen on massive maps.
Also medium didn't get nerfed like, at all. They got a massive buff with the glitch trap rework that acts as an instant "fuck you" zone where players can't use any gadget or ability.
Heavy's guns are simply not overpowered and are just fine. They remain strong options with Lewis being a better AKM in every aspect. Heavy still has the two long complained about abilities, that win him every single fight instantly with 0 effort. Both untouched - RPG and Charge.
Just because heavy can't beam people from across the map as easily doesn't mean both heavy and medium are ""nerfed to the ground""

after the update for xbox dropped i was having graphics issues like when i would play world tour every team would appear as the same color (red) and after reseting my console a few times nothing seemed to work. Lights never needed a drastic buff in the first place. They had the most versatile Equipment, but now everyone is Dash-Sword lights. Instead of nerfing dash or swords, actually buff heavy and Mediums. Give Heavy’s Glitch traps to counter lights and mediums should have more exclusive items to incentivize players to not always rely on defibbing.
Gadget pool should be a lot larger, with most things available to both classes, save a couple team utility things, and an extra gadget slot specifically for destruction. The game prides itself on destruction but its utility is random and not accessible equally to each class. So there should be a destruction slot, like a weapon slot, where the only thing that goes there is something to provide destruction., without damage

Giving Heavy glitch traps is such an awful and out of touch idea. Heavy already counters Light and especially in melee range with charge, rpg, flamethrower sometimes even sledge. Winch completely shuts down light if you're next to your team, or if you're using practically any weapon and finish with rpg.

Day 122 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.
- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored four bullets every second, 50 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

You’re able to do it with barricades, sure, but lights don’t have that. Lights have no counter to rpg besides evasive dash if the heavy is firing it close range if not point-blank. And considering many of (at least) my encounters with dog were close-range, and me being a cloak main, I have little to no shot of avoiding the rpg.
Also cloak is perfectly fine to me, maybe I’m just getting dumbahh teammates but a lot of times I end up evading enemies with it

Id like to suggest a Quality of life change:
For items like Thermal vision where our characters pull out a tablet looking thing then we activate it: why don't we make some sort of hot button activation like how the specialization is; it's immediately activated.
Im on controller so idk how it feels on Mn'K but it would feel nice to just use the command bumper + direction and we immediately see an activation of the thermal vision.
For items like Baracades, jump pads, or zip lines I understand the delay in activation but the Thermal vision feels more clunky than it needs to be tbh.
What do you guys think about temporarily switching things up and removing the need to reload gadgets like rocket launcher, tracking dart, thermal bore, stun gun, etc? Just to see what it's like.

@eternal wigeon Bullet spread is completely subjective therefore shouldn't be taken into account. You have actually good heavy players who can control the spread very well, and others who are awful with it. Same with light. If you can't use the gun no one's to blame but you.

What does light have?
Stun gun. It doesn't block RPG, Barricade or dome. Insane part.
Dash? RPG has more range. Yes, I did the testing. Dashing is about 6m and RPG can roughly hit up to 8 meters, this is under perfect circumstances where the heavy is literally blind and can't aim an AOE shot.
I wonder what magical setting where Light excels in a 1v1 like you said. Even if the light shot first they still lose, they get rpg'd and lose, they get charged/slammed more likely than not lose, they get winched and insta killed. There isn't a single scenario I can think of where light and heavy are on equal ground and light wins. Where like you said Light should excel.

The light weapons have super small spread and recoil compared to the heavy weapons, especially after the nerfs to the Lewis and M60. Bullet spread is far from subjective give the light's small stature, especially at medium range.

If there's something I've learned well playing the sledge is that you need to fight the heavy at mid range, not dash in thinking you won't get punished for it.
imo all classes are, which leads to them kind of being in equilibrium
all classes should be equally viable/powerful while making use of what makes them unique
but an op meta is not good
you need to run whatever can make your class op to keep up with everyone else
you get discouraged and punished for going off meta, leading to less loadout variety and low item pick rates for a lot of items
at the same time it lowers skill expression because it often boils engagements down to who can out cheese the other one first, which also frequently makes engagements frustrating
every class gets complaints because of what makes them op
if all 3 got nerfed in the aspect that makes them op they should remain equals, while making more options viable, improving skill expression and lowering frustration
I suppose it kinda depends on the player but when going against not even what you would call good heavy players I've lost more fights this season to heavy than any other class in the game do to the sheer amount of DPM that heavy outputs and the winch claw hasn't been making heavies any easier to deal with but I constantly run into meta heavies recently in WT and sometimes it's just no fun if I have a bad run with my squad and can't recoup when heavies are getting hand held on cashouts and they just have winch so my positioning is useless around the cashout when they can just one swipe me with that thing bring me to them (sometimes they hit me through walls) and blow me up with mines or flamethrower me to death and i can't do much of anything to combat it.
Fighting other mediums is not much of a problem at all and I usually take 85-90% of 1v1's with a medium unless I wiff my shots.
And lights is just really dependent if I pay attention to where they are if they are cloaking and what not

You should look into getting people from the community to do vocal work. My biggest issue with the ai voices is how flat and lifeless they are. It kinda drags them down, especially when they’re saying stuff that should be hype but they just don’t sound very excited. I bet if you set up auditions you could get a pretty damn good amount of people (I’d even throw my hat into the ring lol), and you could get some insanely good talent from that.

It fires very inaccurately if shot fast, has huge range drop off, it needs the critical to even be competitive against other weapon’s DPS, and thats not accounting for movement which is a very easy counter to the gun, try using the gun before commenting feedback like that

i really understand how embark want the game to be competitive but production desires shouldn't always be prioritized over players needs, The mechanics lakes a bit in the movement side but overall is great, the graphics is fantastic especially the reflections and the occlusion, all that are good, but the real problem is how you embark studio want the players to play the game or address it..the game mainly should be an fast paced chaotic sandbox destruction game with all things possible and unpredictable, therefor it would be fun to play and people will enjoy it and others will be tryhards sweats to grind for the rank and leaderboard, i always root for embark in this channel specifically and always believe that embark devs is going to do the right thing and we have to give them sometime and i still have hope and love this game and continue to support it and support embark but please don't kill the game

I'd like to see a change in the way sliding affects movement. Currently, sliding during a sprint decreases speed and there is a clunky delay afterwards into another sprint or jump. The only way to maintain momentum after a jumppad or zipline is bhopping, which I really enjoy since it carries lots of speed and is smooth and natural feeling. However, jumps from pads and jumps off of ziplines don't happen too often so movement in the finals feels clunky outside of those situations.
having to play alternate gamemodes for weeklies is not fun at all, if your going to have weekly objs to play just make me play 20 games in any mode or something instead of having to play gamemodes i dont enjoy

The finals should have better optimisation for controller players. Give more button optimisation for controller players for example being able to swap to an item with the double tap or triple of a button or swipe on the middle pad of a controller. And also holding certain buttons do a different function to that of that just pressing it or even giving one function like jumping or shooting to different keybinds so u can choose what u are comfortable with given the situation.
I have a suggestion. The atmosphere of the game is incredible, especially because of the magical soundtracks. It would be great to be able to choose what soundtrack we want, what atmosphere for our game. For example, one guy may prefer to play with the season 2 soundtrack, and another with the beta soundtrack. That would be great

To counter the criticisms people have with Ranked being stuck in an unpopular mode, how about if it had its own type of World Tour? But each two weeks it changed gamemode?
WT has 7 stages. So Ranked WT could go:
- PRESHOW - Quick Cash (All maps - 1 week)
- Cashout (Monaco/Vegas - 2 weeks)
- Power Shift (All maps - 2 weeks)
- Cashout (Skyway/Horizon - 2 weeks)
- Terminal Attack (All maps - 2 weeks)
- Cashout (Seoul/Kyoto - 2 weeks)
- Bank It (All maps - 2 weeks)
- SEASON FINALE - Cashout (All maps - 1 week)
That way, every gamemode gets to shine. It's a truer test of skill, as it's across every part of the game. And it reinforces the gameshow theme by continually switching things up.
Nerf Iseul-T and Ospuze, Embark. The commentator voicelines are hardcoded to say those 2 all the time. Even during the ENGIMO Open they'll say "This one minute warning was brought to you by Ospuze" and that's not the only one. So many things in this list like winchclaw, charge, rpg, and glitch mines disproportionately effect unique, off meta builds and further drive this game towards the run and gun reskin you describe. Reworking these into healthier versions of themselves would promote better build diversity, make more playstyles viable, and overall improve game health.
@tired gulch I would consider the ak the middle point of balance in this game. Anything worse should be buffed and anything better should be nerfed. While it's true that a lot of things need buffs the ones that need nerfs shouldnt be ignored

giving it faster recharge or a bigger reserve just results in more spam, which will be problematic
more damage makes it 1 shot lights in a way bigger radius
bigger explosion range would make it even less escapable
only unproblematic things i could think of would be destructive power or bigger throwing range, but i dont think that would be impactful enough
we need to figure out something different, and then do that for most of the items in the game as well

frags are really good, but unlike say rpg or defib, they aren't run 100% of the time, meaning they are weaker
most items should be equally strong with similar pick rates, and none should be must picks
this is not currently the case, so something would need to change
that would mean either buffing frags (and all other items, so they can out-compete defib/rpg) or nerfing the other 2
buffing frags is a bad idea which both of you seem to agree on, so in my opinion, the other stuff should be nerfed

oh and specifically to that last point herman, i think that defib really shouldn't be that strong
slight power differences will always exist, and thats ok, but there is a huge gap between defib and any other item
always facing/using the same few items is boring, which is especially problematic with how annoying facing it can be at times

frag grenade is in a perfectly fine spot rn. Defib is a medium exclusive gadget and takes up one slot, it doesnt mean everything has to match that gadgets power level. The problem is that there is little to no reason to pick other options like flash, smoke, pyro etc. They shouldn't be as strong as defib, but good and viable options for different playstyles.

the frag grenade is NOT in a good spot rn. i think it does a bit too much damage for it to be a thing with no indicator. if they wanna keep the damage of the nade they need to add something that tells you theres one nearby like in other games. but if they dont want to add an indicator they should nerf the damage. both also works bc rn i think it does just a little bit too much dmg. @echo urchin in a game with messy fights and so much happening like the finals, a grenade being thrown into a fight that is as difficult as it is to see and doing 150 damage doesnt feel fun to play against even as a heavy. imo i dont think anything should do over about 110-120 damage in one shot

I still dont see the problem with defib being a meta pick for medium. If any gadget should be meta its defib. Makes the games more fun because you get revived more often instead of waiting around. defib being a meta pick is totally fine
but currently its the meta, i can count the amount of mediums i saw that didn't use it on 1 hand, when was the last time you saw one?
lets say someone really likes pyro and goo as their default loadout and they now want to try data reshaper
well, though luck, they can either decide to dump the combination they love or throw out defib and be at a significant disadvantage compared to other mediums
alongside that issue, i also find defib pretty annoying at times, so id welcome a nerf
but that is more of a personal opinion
obviously we should try to make the game more fun, and defib helps achieve that, so you're obviously not wrong
but it also makes the game more annoying for the enemies, because their kills just get reverted immediately, often without a proper window for counterplay, which removes a lot of the reward they might otherwise have gotten for skillful plays (which can be pretty disheartening)
the mediums team, in that case, gets to have more fun at the expense of everyone else

defib being part of mediums identity is also not an issue by itself, but currently it just overshadows everything else

rpg 140 instant damage just isnt healthy considering how easy and reliable it is to pull off

Charge may be reworked by giving it ramp up/momentum-based damage similar to slam's damage.
Glitch mines should not have linger effects when destroyed and should be reworked to either be more similar to an aps turret, be given a notified charge up time before you get glitched, or have a max glitch time
Rpg should do less damage (smth like 100) but have no hip fire spread or be reworked to be destruction oriented, doing 50 damage, have 2 charges, and no spread
Winch should never have been introduced imo but as long as it is, it should be purely for displacement, with no stun, and possibly no setting the player directly in front of you

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

I can say whoever developed the rank scoring system and a monkey, in fact probably if you had hired a monkey he would have done better, you have given so many good premises about this system the truth is the only thing that matters is the total score gap between the teams, the rest almost never makes a difference, so the only thing you have to do when you start a rank to earn points is to hope that your team is the one below the gap because if you don't you play half an hour/40 minutes to earn a maximum of 500 points if you're happy. what a disgusting system developed by troglodytes who have never played an fps. I start a rank and I just have to pray. the kda doesn't count for shit I won a game 20 5 7 my friend with me in the team scored 10 3 8 and I got 20 points more than him it's total disgust but now what can I expect you're the devs who kicked out a great game but they are killing it because they don't have the slightest idea of how to manage a fps, hire some monkeys maybe they do better than you.

lets say embark nerfs defib to the same level as frag nade. That would mean a MASSIVE nerf to not only the defib gadget but to the medium class as a whole. To balance it like this, embark would need to do the same to every other class. RPG, dome, gateway etc. What ends up happening then is a big nerf spiral that sucks the fun out of these abilities. I do see where youre coming from tho, i just think defib is fun to use and not particularly annoying to face. (S1 defib was pretty obnoxious tho). But buffing other misc gadgets would help with your issue too i think, then atleast the off meta pick isnt as off meta anyomore. Right now we have the super good: Defib and jump pad. then the good: Frag, zip, mines and the rest are kinda garbage. If atleast you bring the garbage tier in line with the good ones, build variety would be much better than it is now.
I believe the finals should make people shoot their guns again and be good at aiming again. There are far too many crutches in this FPS game for people who can’t shoot. It’s to a point it’s punishing people who are good shooters. It’s like bullets don’t push back melee, they don’t stop a guy from grabbing you with a claw so now I have to jump dodge and shoot just to appease a player who can’t shoot. It’s not a good feeling for a first person shooter. It’s so many cheap counters for a person shooting at you that require no extra skill meanwhile being the person shooting you have to do so much while still landing shots.
I'd say 75-100 damage, 50 would be way too unforgiving to get any decent damage (rog is very important to finish off running target in my case)
it would have 2 charges. 100 damage would literally just turn it into an option for a primary lol. 50 would be fine if it was destruction oriented while also having the option for damage.

I personally think defib is fine. The issues I find with it are the iframes it gives and the hologram acting more as a shield than an indicator. Regardless of how you nerf defib it will remain one of the best gadgets in the game, a free revive is just too good and with medium being the support class it's a no brainer.

- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored four bullets every second, 50 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

The light should be getting out of there, healing up, and then using their mobility to flank the enemy and reengage with an advantage (better position, first shots).
Yeah light should flank and reengage to be able to kill one player properly as the glass cannon, and Heavy - The Tank/Fortification class should run at people's faces and shred them with no counterplay. Very well designed.

Heavies need good timing, game sense, and positioning to succeed. I get that isn’t the type of skill that quick snap movement merchants respect but anyone who has played with a shit heavy and a great heavy knows there is a clear difference.
I also have a bunch of clips of me running circles around a heavy with my throwing knives, doing damage while he wastes his ammo, then he has to reload and I finish him off. Or, I cloak and sneak up on someone going to res their teammate and back stab them. Or I get my heavy to claw the cashout into the open and snipe anyone who tries to steal it from whatever rooftop I just moved to.
I have clips of me getting kills or even ledging people with the claw, and clips of me clawing a light that dashes and headshots me with a sniper rifle. I have clips of me going for a charge slam and the light dashes back a bunch and then shoots me as I’m charging at it.

Jump Pad: The Jump Pad works INSTANTLY and doesn't have an initial cooldown.
Also buff the Cancel Queue button. Currently, pressing the button has a chance of it simply not working and putting you into a game instead. Fix this please.

Bring back the beta momentum based movement. Slowing down this game and switching to terminal attack is killing this player base.

Man i really didn’t saw this coming but… for context i m medium main from day one, i find this class the best team base class in game, for me at least. BUT … i never thought i m going to say this but bring back the old mg60 and lewis gun back…cause rn all or maybe 90% are running hammer, flamethrower, spear… chain you and one tap you….is not fare man for me to aim a weapon to control a recoil to empty a mag to take him down at close and he just 1 tap you and 315-350 dmg, them he either charge you or rpg you… and NO is not skill issues… is just stupid…. Now when l got their most wanted buff that is toxic a bit…. Medium feels like an empty shell… like the hole season feels empty, the TA is unbalanced, quick cash and bank it is just lights, world tour is not rewarding at all… the game feels stale and unfun to play at this point…. I might be wrong but i m 100 % sure i m not the only one who feels the same.

I do understand, but when you call out an effective combo within their effective range cheap in a game where you can potentially face an entirely different range/skill set from triple light snipers to triple medium shotguns, that's where your criticism falls flat. Season 3 in this game has become so damn annoying. World tour was the worst possible decision if you ever wanted this game to thrive. No one asked for stupid terminal attack to be the ranked mode. the amount of util in this game specifically designed to disable every single aspect of light's gameplay is fucking ridiculous. If you don't want light to be able to play with any fun loadout, then WHY EVEN HAVE IT IN THE FUCKING GAME. Against certain kits, and players with more health, more oppressive util, AND more damage (at least for any of light's fun loadouts), It's just impossible to win. Glitch traps only negatively impact light, taking away all survivability by restricting all movement that would allow light to avoid fatal damage and instakills, while all the other classes are just minorly inconvenienced. RPGs dealing almost your entire healthbar with no user input or braincells required whatsoever. Shotguns that do more damage and have more range, on characters with more health and survivability. Light has no redeeming features if you aren't playing like a total weenie. I want to have fun, not sit in a corner running invis shotgun like everyone else cause that's the only reliable way to win with this class. You encourage the scummiest playstyles on every single class, and that's why you've lost almost your entire playerbase. I want to love this game but you have to get your fucking shit together and stop bumbling around like a bunch of fucking crack addicts! This game could have been so god damn incredible, but you ruin it at every step. it's like you're trying to make it die

I believe you misunderstand my angle. I have absolutely no problem with diversity, my issue is with the imbalance of performance required during certain engagements. I don't particularly hate the wench or anything I just think some engagements have an imbalance of effort required to succeed. I believe this is more crucial in the close range engagements and third parties that most of the game tends to end up in because it has a multiplied effect. To expound on the wench example (it's certainly not the only) if you are within the range of it which this game has a way of bringing players together 😉 using a gun one would have to dodge, reposition then reengage and hope an escape is near and it's not an objective in the open. Whereas all they have to do to succeed is aim in my general direction and spam attack with the spear and if you get grabbed at all it's essentially a guaranteed kill meanwhile I'm still waiting 1.7 seconds even if I'm hitting every shot. Not to mention the RPG to wench combo is insane.

Terminal Attack ranked matchmaking is a butterfly killed by a boot, a raccoon finding only empty cans in a dumpster, consuming milk with a spoon, literally anything I can describe it. Every match, I'm met with people with different rank level, and one of them are below or unranked, and some of them are high ranked. It makes it much harder to comprehend and evolve my own skill and gameplay, and so as the unranked. I want to have a balancing matchmaking where everybody is almost the same rank in one match. maybe at least a range rank feature like Overwatch has like their competitive matches.
Respectfully, switching weapons mid-round would make my solo queue experience a lot better while also adding more dynamic strategies and gameplay.
Light is the most played class, has plenty of lethal weapons. I'm not sure exactly what the fun playstyle you want that isn't viable is
It is very reasonable for them to sacrifice having a consistent range weapon for a deadly melee. If you're fighting someone that you know for a fact can destroy you up close you should respect that. That's literally their only way to get kills. Now the RPG to wench is only as devastating if you lack the ability to read the gamestate you're in. If it isn't the wench then it'll be charge and slam through walls that you hide behind. At the end of the day, you have to play towards your strength and not theirs. Range. They literally can't fight back once they've exhausted their one shot range options. Hell melee gets easily shut down by a simple goo canister/grenade

S3 Health regen, guardian turret, glitch mine, & gadget changes are all great. Alongside some minor weapon tweaks for useability such as the KS-23.
Remember when cloak light db spam that can 2-shot any class in S1? Well, now we have throwing knives (nobody still uses the alt-fire post nerf only spam) & db is back to being able to 1 or 2-shot any class. Seeing triple db teams in WT now. A repeat of OB & S1.
Remember when light stun gun spam giving free kills? Well, now we have the winch claw for heavy that not only stuns, but also pulls & allows them to do a survivable point blank rpg.
What happened to the "long ttk" gameplay?
The CL40 was given a damage nerf, fire rate buff, & range nerf, making it one of the second lowest dps to the lowest dps weapon. The only possible reason for this is due to it's burst being too good in TA but in TTK, it's one of the slowest & will lose most duels if not careful. It counters L, mid to M, & weak to H. This change made it unable to fight heavies reliably at all. The pump rate & fire rate would also be considered as a nerf as due to it depleting the 4 rounds quicker & spending more time instead with the long reload. The linear explosion change made direct hits the minimum to deal any damage, as it's explosion range is so small, making it less forgiving. Might as well name it the slug shotgun 40.
In S2 ranked, despite it being a poor pick, I still brought it to plat. Despite the low dps, you need to play safely/area denial/insane movement & learn its trajectory for mid-long shots. Before the change, the fire rate, reload, & ammo was low but it was rewarding to hit direct hits. Now it barely tickles H or other M.
Overall. Didn't care about TA, but if core game & balance changes are catered to it instead of the core gameplay of the game, it will mess up balances for other modes. Showing more that, already built gameplay & balance isn't fit for it. Most of the s3 patch felt like forgetting the balance work made during S1 & S2.

My friend and I just finished a ranked game teams were 165k to 120k we are on the higher ranked team and won 7-2.
I am 28k and he is 24k he's top of the leaderboard I gain 600 rank he gains 530?
This seems to be a pattern we've noticed while playing I rank up significantly more and lose significantly less than he does.

However, people like me, who actually enjoy the game and want it to succeed, see it from the players perspective, not from the developers' or the company's monetary perspective. We are the ones who play the game and have played other competing games. The ideas we share here, even if they might seem trivial, could be what saves the game from failing. So yeah in some cases, we actually do know better than the devs.

I’m saying! Lights have 2 same abilities cloaking and vanishing bombs. Heavy’s have dome shield and basic shield. Medium is the only one without 2. Also medium gets 2 abilities taken from them in ranked no other class does. It would be a decent nerf to the game!

I think the game can learn a thing or two about making design that makes players.positive to one another like deep rock galactic, the finals isn't that toxic but it's the most toxic game I've played since I don't usually play shooters, but probably way less toxic than it's competition. It dissuades me from playing healer cause if you're not killing everyone people get mad at you even though I've died the least and keeping the dumbies alive 🥱 and am number 1 in every other stat. Something needs to be done or I'll just start stacking with friends cause at least they appreciate a support player

Why should I suffer penalties when 2 of my teammates didnt even connect and 3 from our enemies are the same, so its basically a 4v3. I left the game early cause match alr is cancelled and people alr left then I saw the reconnect button and match still hasnt been cancelled for whatever reason. Now I reconned then got greeted with 30 min suspension? Sht whoever created this shthole buggy penalty, cant even suspend the right people.

I'm really tired of getting punished for disconnections due to the game crashing or bugging out. It's hard enough working up rank score in TA without getting put against ridiculously hard teams, but on top of that, constantly having crashes and server timeout issues that cause me to lose tons of RP and suspent my account for several hours is getting excessive. I have not intentionally left a game ONCE, and this is what I get. If I can't get some kind of workaround for this I'm uninstalling the game. It is extremely frustrating to deal with bugs like this and completely ruins the game for me.

The problem I have with XvX cashout higher than 3v3 is that suddenly teams become way harder to truly get rid of. Fights drag out so much longer and when there’s only 2 minutes on a cashout, only the team who owns it can afford that. And of course the problem of Cashout already primarily is third partying being way too strong, so just making final round a guaranteed third party only makes things worse.
Ranked loadouts should not be random, in fact, they should be changeable. Cashout is dying for the ability to swap out parts of your loadout, counterplay belongs in ranked and it’s notably lacking in the finals’ ranked system.
I think the ruby skin should have your leaderboard place on it, such as if ur #69 in ruby, you will have the #69 on it, just to show how limited the skin is for the top dogs of the game. Petition for this design ?

Devs that focused on skins now are dealing with a dead game (paladins)
If we only nerf rpg, teams of mediums with defib and heals will be pretty much unkillable
If we only nerf mediums upkeep, rpg heavies will flatten whole teams with little you can do to push back against it
If we nerf both, light will have way higher survivability and dominate with their recently buffed weapons
All 3 of these factors are frequently complained about
If we nerf all 3 the complaints should stop, while keeping the game balanced, alongside reducing frustration and allowing for more interesting loadouts to be meta

Buffing and fixing weapons that have been suffering since release like riot shield and dagger. Adjustment to sword and sledges active frames, adding multihits back to sledge and dagger.
Hopefully removing CC from the game, they're the complete opposite of fun gameplay and add nothing but frustration and should have never been in the game (Stun Gun, Winch kind of the new glitch mines)

You know what else is interesting is that you can aim down sights with the sniper and the cloak, but you cant draw the bow while cloaked. I think it's because the cloak is removed when you left click, and so clicking to draw the bow at all removes the cloaking.
Are there be plans to make the World Tour "grind" less tedious? Currently I see that the World Tour takes a too long to reach the "actual" tour
Based on my calculations if we started grinding the world tour at the start of the season, 102 days, you'll be needing roughly around 3 Qualifications per Day.
If you don't guarantee Wins too much that may be less. But in reality an average player doesn't have too much time and have a lot of chances in actually wining even with the amount of skill.

Riot shield is probably the worst medium weapon in the game
Make some maps specifically for power shift. Not having mirrored maps gives one team a significant advantage. For example seoul one team has to go through the big glass building to win and the other doesnt.
I mean in my opinion none of the melee weapons should be in the game or as good as they are. Riot shields are annoying because you can't just throw down a gas or fire nade and expect it to kill the riot shield, you have to hope all your teammates look at his back and shoot it, or hope that enough of his swings miss while all your bullets hit, which is rare as fuck

Light main here. This is a bad take. Sorry. Light is the hardest class to play in the game. Respectfully, If you think playing like a weenie is the only way to play Light it's a "skill issue". Light can be incredibly dominant and should have the positional advantage 9/10 times.
Play as a Riot Shield if you think its strong, then you'll probably understand why this is a joke.

Please anchor the sights of weapons to the center of the screen when strafing, crouching and jumping OR make the bullets actually go where the deviation is aiming to get rid of the 3rd party crosshair advantage. Your crosshair can be dead on someone and miss due to this deviation, yet for someone with a crosshair, it won't be an issue.
