As much as I like TA and World Tour, it sucks that if I grind World Tour I'm already behind on TA if I wanted to get to ruby. Make it so you just need to make top 500 once but make minimum 75k ranked points for ruby. (Nobody is grinding 3 months just to keep top 500)
Can the devs please stop having "win" condiition in Contracts? At least until some of the cheating going around is dealt with? It's frustrating. I'd rather have play 50 games than win 10 matches. Just my opinion tho.

Also, revert the damn Stun Gun. Lights are horribly oppressive right now, and a free kill tool is possibly the most un-fun thing to die to in the entire game.

How about just some more stability? Every day I play I have to Alt-F4 as my screen "freezes" during the loading phase, except it's not frozen I'm still gettting over 120+fps, it's jsut stuck on that screen - I hear the announcers during the initial tunnel run intro and the game starts - yet I'm still "loading" - it's really dampening my enthusiasm to play. Perhaps less cosmetic additions and game modes fiddling around and go back to basics and fix deal-breaking bugs. #justsayin'

Recoil is a horrible balance angle. It does not work in this game at all. If the LH1 is just objectively better than the V9S but harder to use, nobody will ever want to put time into using the V9S

Have found too Ls have just been dominating all games recently, games essentially coming down to who has the most Ls and making playing M/H absolutely horrible. Maybe giving them even just a bit of a speed reduction or more direct counter play. Last couple days it's just been miserable trying to play and getting instantly shredded even when using the in theory counter weapons like H's winch and flamer it's just way too easy to survive and escape as L. I feel like when there's already a speed boost ability they don't need such a fast base speed, forcing the players to pick between extra speed or other abilities. Also agree with @ripe pike that L free mode sounds real sweet rn
This just simply isn’t true, the V9S is and has always been a spectacular weapon. It doesn’t shine at longer ranges like the LH1 but has incredible TTK a large magazine with a 1.7 second reload and and border line laser beam hip-fire. The V9S is the close range counter part to the LH1, as the LH1 is not as good up close. V9S vs LH1 really come down to preference

Add tdm please, I am sure that it will bring new people to this amazing game. Powershift is plagued by snipers and in bankit you cant go solo or you encounter a full team (good luck). Also those two modes that looks the most at team deathmatch are still evolving around a objective. A lot people just wanne shoot and kill without an objective.

I think medium this season is quite frankly in a terrible state. TA has had 2 of their best tools removed, and their guns aside from the model don't really compete with the other classes arsenal, seing as Light has better performing guns and utility geared around getting kills, and Heavy having specs and utility so powerful they can turn fights on their own. Seeing as Medium is pigeonholed as a support, I don't have much of a solution, but they feel terrible to play in ranked.
Please add Turret Limit on TA, It's really frustrating fighting 5 Mediums with 5 Turrets lmao

The Defibrillator is too much of a mandatory ability for Medium.
So much so that if you don't bring it, you are considered to be throwing/trolling.
I propose to integrate it into the Healing Beam specialization since it fits perfectly with it.
- When activating the Healing specialization, you can scroll to switch between Heal Beam and Defib.
- To balance this change, I think Defib should be nerfed in terms of cooldown.
- This will make the defib a bit more meaningful and impactful in those clutch situations.
An interesting way to make the 2 parts of this specialization more fun to use would be to have them interact with each other. Imagine this:
- The Defibrillator would have a very long cooldown that can be reduced by healing teammates.
- If you overheat your Healing Beam, it also pauses the cooldown timer of the Defib for its duration.
- When you Defib someone, your Healing Beam meter is reset to full capacity.
This will also free up the Medium class to choose more gadget combinations

light seems to be close to what chatgpt said it should be. however, the reload times arent long and lights best weapon (xp) isnt very skill-oriented outside of aiming. but light DOES have the most skill required weapons in the game (at least in my opinion). i do think light should have a reload on the TK, and possibly the bow although the bow requires a good amount of skill to use effectively. (though i guess thats an opinion)

I have to wait 30 mins for a match, to then be put with or against 1-3 cheaters, the anti cheat is completely worthless, it bans legit players for excessive reports and lets rage hackers enjoy themselves, balancing is horrible. After the 30 min wait for a match in the off chance it is cheater free, its usually me, another 60k~ player vs a full team of plats and golds, what have i waited 30 mins for then? The entire system is the biggest joke i have ever come accross in any game ive played, game is now down to 15k players or something, devs simply dont care. Instead of fixing real problems they add winches and things. Wake up

i agree that the massive dmg of rpg does not fit the role heavy is supposed to fill, tho if the only change mage would be to nerf RPG without compensation heavy will no longer be able to compete in any kind of sudden or attacking combat. Since the weapons that the heavy class has assess to lack a reliable way to deal dmg at medium to long range. (also rps is the only way to deal with dashing lights when playing sledge so that could be a problem)
My take on heavy would be to lower RPGs dmg to 80, shorten the cooldown, reduce the self dmg to a maximum of 1x and give heavy assess to a new weapon the can compete at medium to long range (some kind of handgun maybe)
oh and delete sniper from the game it does not fit in and is just annoying to play with or against.
It does not fit the role light is supposed to play and has little counterplay.

yea having an actual debate is a breath of fresh air from all the people just yelling for no reason lmfao
for lights teamplay gadgets, i think certain things that could possibly help your team from a far could be fun. gateway is a way in and out where if you have one near your team you can come back quickly to help. i think more things like this could be an interesting take for light. though it could get hectic at times. i think a fun thing for light could be a gadget that you could activate which would remove a certain amount of cooldown on all your gadgets for someone in your team (maybe make it so it cant be yourself, or not, just ideas). maybe something that you could use to hack an enemy dome shield, mine(s), turret, etc? that would turn them against the user, adding it to your "team". something like the invis bomb that instead increases player speed by 10% (or a diff number, just ideas). something that in a small radius would muffle sounds of footsteps, gunshots, use of specs/gadgets, etc. some of these could be a bit too powerful as just gadgets, but you could probably scale them down accordingly to make them work. also i got this idea from the AI again, im not quite the thinker when it comes to stuff like this, so i asked for gadget ideas. i picked the ones that sounded the most fair and that didnt already exist, or that didnt fit the role of a different class.
i think rpg shouldnt really be used for damage. if it were in turn used for strictly destruction or maybe even disorientation (like messes up your screen a tad bit with dust, particles, etc. (but nowhere near flashbang) it could be fun.
also yes delete sniper. or make it a projectile. a really heavy projectile with a good amount of drop; not as much as bow, but only slightly less. that could be really fun too.

Leaderboards need to be split by PC/Console if crossplay is not forced in ranked.
Some extra visual settings that would be nice to add (talking for console i don't know if PC already has these):
- Brightness, Contrast, HDR etc.. like settings ☀️
- Custom Colorblind option, both to appeal to more nuanced variations but also as a way of customizing it for anyone, maybe with even more colors/shades to choose from. 🎨
- More FoV settings, like splitting world and hands/player FoV, Vertical or Horizontal etc.. 👁️
As an extra thing, even though it might not be a competitive thing i think adding support for Dualsense's optional features like Adaptive Triggers etc.. would be pretty cool, making the game even more punchier since you can actually feel the weapons/stuff you use!
How to fix cashout and make it competitively viable:
-
change cash value to 15k on V1 and V2, and 10k on V3 and V4 (same for 5 and 6 but more on that in a bit)
allows teams to consistently build momentum early into the match without the risk of losing an entire game because the last box (current 22k) is more THAN TWICE the value of the first box.
22k boxes are part of what makes cashout extremely uncompetitive right now. -
increase money for starting a cashout to 3k
incentivizes starting cashouts (especially 3-6) instead of 3rd partying active cashouts with teams already fighting. -
change it so 5k with each box (of 15k or 10k) is paid out at 50% completion of the cashout
makes V1 and V2 still worth stealing last second, but allows teams later into the match to consistently hold a lead by getting deposits and holding until half, without being griefed by 2 teams stealing their cashouts last minute -
shorten coin respawn in knockout rounds, increase respawn timer on teamwipes
coining will be faster, wiping as a team will be punished harsher by losing presence and not by losing points you worked for.
sidenote: remove money loss on teamwipes entirely -
Vault 5 and 6 should be 10k "lockout" Vaults, that only allow ONE other team to own the cashout they were deposited in:
team A deposits, team B steals, now only team A and B are able to steal/hold that cashout, preventing late 3rd parties, with the other 2 teams unable to steal money they have no incentive to fight that cashout and late cashouts arent ruined by uncompetitive last second steals by team who didnt fight anyone.
- CHANGE OVERTIME TO ALWAYS AMOUNT TO A FULL CASHOUT DURATION OF 2 MINUTES AND 10 SECONDS

Buff fully charged Bow Crit damage, slightly nerf velocity (allows for 1c1b on heavies and 1c+melee on meds with slightly higher skill requirement)

Slightly Buff FCAR Range (.55 to .6 multiplier at range), slightly buff damage to 23-24 (TTK against Light remains the same, H and M its 1 bullet less, still more than old FCAR), rework its recoil pattern to be more consistent across its entire magazine
Buff Famas famas range and give it a zoomed scope (.55 at range, 1.5x scope)
Buff Dematerializer to 4 uses
Buff revolver reload speed from 2.2s/2.5s to 2.0s/2.2s, buff range to a .57 scalar at range to allow 6b medium kills and 4b light kills. (42 damage)
add a small delay to data reshaper so spamming to reshape an RPG does not instantly consume 2 charges.

Since we're gonna be in Season 4 in about three months, it'd be nice to have a Season 1 "Recap" Pass alongside Season 4's pass you can purchase separately, without the Multibucks rewards. It'd be a shorter pass because of that, but it'd give people something to grind XP for after completing a pass already.
bow is just "long range" which is absolutely fine and in my opinion well balanced rn.
sniper is "across the whole map range" that's the problem and since its hit-scan and not a projectile the skill requirement is minimal.

- Get rid of Easy Anti-Cheat for a better anti cheat, its terrible, DMA Bypasses it so easily thats why you have a cheater epidemic, you are literally killing your own game by doing nothing
- if the devs did any play testing they would fix all the issues, but they have never hence the state of the game and declining player population
- Copying CS won’t make your game popular, stick to cash out, what everyone enjoyed previous seasons

these are really not good changes: A large part of cashout's fun is how you haven't lost until the bell rings, but this would basically just mean you've lost if you don't get the first cashout - ramping up cashouts over time makes comebacks realistic (and forces you to stay in the game after you get the first cashout!), and ramping them down would massively promote getting one or two and just hiding to avoid a team wipe.
what you are suggesting right now is making the mode much less enjoyable for the sake of "competitive viability" which is also exactly why people hate ranked TA. It would mean the game is effectively over by the time the third vault is available, as the teams that get the first two vaults are completely disincentivised from fighting and risking their respawns and 30%, while the other two teams are left to fight over the cashouts that are left and lose respawns and money.

Light sniper desperately needs a body shot nerf. It feels awful to play as a medium/heavy and just get plinked to death by a hitscan rifle at literally any range. It also allows the Light to use it as a viable CQC weapon which is a range the Light really doesn't need more obnoxiously overtuned weapons for.

Day seven of not being able to play competitive term attack because of the invisible light snipers everywhere. I don’t want to play that class because it doesn’t fit my play style and it’s not fun to sit in one spot the whole entire match. There is no incentive to actually play the objective

I've been getting this crash pretty consistently about halfway through my sessions, its the same error but its not on startup its like in the middle of the game, any idea what it could be? My drivers are up to date and I tried redownloading the game

- RPG > damage reduced DMG from 140 to 100
- Winch hook > remove from game, or rework it completely
- Mesh shield > Reduced HP from 750 to 700
- M60 > increase damage drop off range by 10 meters
- Lewis gun > clean up the recoil pattern to be less aggressive horizontally
- Charge and slam > reduce damage by half so you cant instantly kill M's, reduce cooldown. Should be more utility than 1 shot cheese.
Medium:
- Recon senses > re-add to game - rework to be a single ping like recon nades but originating from the player. 3 charges with a pretty long recovery time
- Turret > Add a attack delay of 0.3s so it doesnt instantly shoot if you are in its FOV
- Defib > Remove invincibility time after getting ressed
- FCAR > 3rd shot of recoil jumps way to hard right, reduce that horizontal recoil.
- FAMAS > Increase damage drop off range
- R.357 > increase damage drop off range and slightly lower reload time
Light:

Cash-out should periodically give cash over time in a couple of instances (ie: 3k-5k-10k). Many high ELO games just becomes stalling for first 75% CO the time.

- Remove Terminal Attack (The push game mode is x10 better than your version of Counter Strike)
- Terminal Attack RS system doesn't work when you have no Skill Based Match Making, boosted/smurf players heavily influence your RS
- If I solo queue I shouldn't go up against a 3,4 or 5 stack, it should only be other solo queue players
- Play Test your game, none of these issues would be present if you did play testing (You can die off spawn in Terminal Attack)
- Add regular ranked
- Better Anti Cheat (DMA Bypasses Easy Anti - Cheat, that's why you have a cheater epidemic)
- Balance

I'd like to argue... your own character will YELL out to the point enemy teams can hear it as well that a nade is incoming and to look out. Your team will yell it if you aren't close enough. Nades also have a visual streak (I'd love to prove it but I can't post images). You can even hear the things ping off objects etc. The only time there is "virtually no indication" is if you come sprinting over a nade right before it explodes and its trail has disappeared. As for the RPG it's pretty obvious when a heavy whips that thing out + it leaves a chemtrail and makes a nice loud boom when fired. So i would argue that you are, in fact, "objectively wrong". We do not need to b e spoon fed "boom booms is here" ↘️

This has been a complaint since day 0. Spawns are so messed up. If it's a strategy to literally not deposit a cash box until the other team respawns, then your spawns are messed up. Especially since if you get team wiped during the cashout, you only spawn 90m away. So why would you possible make respawns, especially during 3v3, 230m away from the cash box. You've basically made it a rule that you only get 1 push per cashout, and that push can't last long. If you wipe during that push, it better have been immediately, cause there is no way you're getting back to the cashout for a second push. Again, if both times you spawned you were 230m away, it would be ridiculous, but consistent. But the fact you only spawn 230m away from the cash box and not the cashout means it's an unfair way to win the game.

New mode ideas:
Futebol: in the practice arena is that wall where you can try throwing the cube through different holes. That got me thinking how fun it would be to have a football style game mode.
- Two teams battling over one cube, trying to snag it and throw it into one of the holes on the other team’s wall to score points.
- I’m thinking 6v6: GK Heavy, Two Medium midfielders, 3 light attackers.
- shorter respawn timer so kills grant an advantage but not a guaranteed goal, squad wipe would be a guaranteed goal though. Maybe no respawn timer so the focus is always on out playing the other team and not just going for squad wipes. Idk.
- It could be done by using smaller sections of the existing maps.
Other ideas:
- Free for all tag/monkey in the middle
- Melee only mode
- Hide and seek: with destructible environments and cloak grenades this would be a fun mode.
Can we also get some better hair styles, the ability to change hair color, and upper and lower body wear that are the same shade of black?

Poor balancing really destroys my fun in this game. I had a lot during Season 1 and 2 but this one is getting on my nerves. Especially it seems like light or Medium is a must.
i agree with almost everything here but a few things, for starters the LH1 does NOT need a damage increase, explosive mines do NOT need a nerf they are fine and that recon change would be useless.
How to fix this game: (2 ways)
Revert back to season 2.
Remove mines and turrets from terminal attack. Make the maximum regeneratable health a percent not a static number (so it doesnt favor different characters). Revert all nerfs and buffs made in season 3. Rework the ranked system completley so you dont have to rely on 4 random teamates to win or lose points.

Encourage us to play and make friends. I'm talking about make The Finals about team play (Way too much solo culture in ranked)
They need to make a "squad" system next season.
For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:
"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:
-Vaiiya
-Volpe
-Engimo
-Ospuze
Etc.
During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".
(Gives me reason to hop back on the game, me and my friends are working towards a goal now. +++ Add Bonus Points for playing with company mates)
This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show AND this gives people a reason to play with friends and implore their friends to hop on The Finals with them.
Create specialized cosmetics for these sponsors. Once your company selects one they are locked in for specialized one-time cosmetics.
This creates urgency AND rarity since -for example- the season 4 OSPUZE set will never show up again. (Same for Engimo, Vaiiya, etc.)

There's a bug where the mine's stay attached to player's totem even if he already revived. So if you kill him again and you're next to him (his totem) you can die by explosion.

as someone who uses sniper (level5, very close to 6) ive got to agree, whilst it feels so satisfying for the user to hit the noscope its honestly not very fair for opponents because i can noscope them from like 10 meters away
can you add a season OST picker in game please? or maybe have the game play different season music based on whatever maps being played. Monaco, Seoul and Skyway=S1, Horizon=S2 and Kyoto=S3. I miss season 1 music

- If I solo queue I shouldn't go up against a 3,4 or 5 stack, it should only be other solo queue players

Weekend contracts focused on wt are awful. I just played a game with a heavy that spent the whole match destroying stuff in wt instead of playing the game. Contracts shouldn't disrupt normal gameplay loops like that.

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam
Nerf the winch claw for every gamemode. Take out sniper and RPG in TA.

Day 108 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.
- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored four bullets every second, 50 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

I've been playing the game since close beta, and the xp-54 only became so strong because a lot of cheaters joined the game. Otherwise, the xp-54 has never been as strong as it is now. With aimbot you can deal fast kill with xp-54 otherwise no chance . If you have never played the xp-54 in season 1, you can't make a comparison whether it is used by a cheater or not. I have banned 20 players since the beginning of season 3. but embark ban only 1 week for first ban they should have 0 Tolerance

To expand on the addition of Weapons' concepts found here #👂┇game-feedback message I want to provide concepts and ideas for Gadgets for the builds, for now these concepts will be for Medium and then Light and later Heavy.
Healing Gadget Ideas-
Heath Bomb, One I'm sure You've seen me make a few times- being an impact grenade like the vanish bomb to provide a burst of healing in an area before going on cooldown.
Medical Drone, Either deployed to the Owner with a left click or to one of their teammates with a right click providing a small constant healing and with it having a limited HP pool itself (Taking double damage from melee attacks) it serves as another form of healing although be it very weak but hands free and destroyable/glitchable.
Damage Gadget Ideas-
Seeker Drone, a Drone that's deployed and immediately observes an area of 15m, when an enemy enters it's line of sight within that area it rapidly advances towards them and explodes dealing damage, with two charges but a weaker explosion (Probably around 80 damage?) it could provide a larger area of control to the team using it.
Sticky Bomb, a powerful explosive on a 5 second timer, sticking to surfaces or Contestants, dealing high arena damage and 160-180 damage to contestants it's stuck to but much less so to nearby contestants, thrown like a mine for very short range however.
Buff Gadget Ideas- These would be gadgets that empower The medium or their teammates for a limited time.
Ospuz Pro Juice, an energy drink for a gadget that increases the Medium's Movement Speed to match that of a light's for a duration of maybe 10-15s before going on a 30-45 second cooldown.
Armor Kit, deploy a box of Armor which teammates can interact with to 'equip armor', which acts like bonus hit points outside of the normal health although likely no more than 50 as that would throw the balance of the game out of whack.

A light gets basically one shot by the sword and a basic melee attack. You are immediately able to basic melee after using the lunge attack or a normal sword attack. You can’t even react with a dash after the main attack that does 140 damage because you can instantly basic melee which does another 40 damage so it’s a insta kill. Im asking that yall put a delay on a basic melee if they are using a sword so that we are able to dash before the basic melee could be used. Other wise we will continue to be instant killed
every weapon on light can kill any class close to instantly, playing in a lobby that has mostly lights isnt enjoyable at all because there is no time to react before u are dead

Season 2 was light the most hated class it was victim class , now mostly cheaters play with it In combination with aimbot and espacially in TA, The only way to survive with light in season 1 and 2, is evasive dash wirh knife or sword. Now with aimbot all cheaters run with xp-54. people who have played season 1 and 2 can confirm it. if you didnt play the finals season 1 and 2 , dont discuss with me.

Heavy:
- RPG > damage reduced DMG from 140 to 100
- Winch hook > remove from game, or rework it completely
- Mesh shield > Reduced HP from 750 to 700
- M60 > increase damage drop off range by 10 meters
- Lewis gun > clean up the recoil pattern to be less aggressive horizontally
- Charge and slam > reduce damage by half so you cant instantly kill M's, reduce cooldown. Should be more utility than 1 shot cheese.
Medium:
- Recon senses > re-add to game - rework to be a single ping like recon nades but originating from the player. 3 charges with a pretty long recovery time
- Turret > Add a attack delay of 0.3s so it doesnt instantly shoot if you are in its FOV
- Defib > Remove invincibility time after getting ressed
- FCAR > 3rd shot of recoil jumps way to hard right, reduce that horizontal recoil
- FAMAS > Increase damage drop off range
- R.357 > increase damage drop off range and slightly lower reload time
Light:

Dash > Add a short cooldown, around 0.5 s

Throwing Knives > Make the projectiles lose velocity and damage over distance, boost initial velocity

LH1 > revert damage to 52 but lower fire rate

Cash-out should periodically give cash over time in a couple of instances (ie: 3k-5k-10k). Many high ELO games just becomes stalling for first 75% CO the time.

does anybody else notice that stats dont track accurately, i just played a game as a light and did 5,550 damaage but it only put half of that into the challenge, what i mean is that i have a challenge that says deal 10,000 damage with light build, i pick light and go into game and do 5000 damage but it only accounts for 2500
combat isn't only damage its also kills ect. So you might have 5,550 combat score but some of that is kills and assists

Pregame Lobby & File share system:
I don't know how the new pregame Lobby would work but the current "lobby" system is kinda bare bones and doesn't do much for community.
I completely understand opting to omit a lobby and only have us talk to team mates since the game is pretty competitive
BUT
Having an ability to share clips or view clips would be cool.
Just sharing a thought here, still, I can't help but feel like the lobbies could be done so much better...
Spectate Mode:
This one I hold dear to my heart.
Imagine, the top "companies" -as mentioned above- or top ranked contestants UNLOCK or are invited to be an in-game streamer.
Lol hear me out: in game they can now see how many of US are watching THEM play The Finals.
Kinda like, we make the top 500 leaderboard more useful since we can click on their position on the leaderboard and watch them if they are currently in game, or if they have any clips uploaded. *And this makes things more competitive since they have direct line of sight for anyone logging into the game and looking at the leaderboard.
Of course a lot of the top Finalists are already on twitch but that would be such a flex. We could also make it a twitch integration kinda thing on top.

Another thought on progression: If we have to wait for months to get added progression levels because of the cosmetics then in the meantime, it'd be good if there was a passive XP boost (for gadgets/spec's) granted for completing level 96 of the battle pass. That way we can still earn more cosmetics without having to deal with an extended wait.

The game is in my opinion in a current state of infection, hackers are everywhere EVEN IN QUICKCASH or so I think, I don't have any proof whatsoever but knowing my exact location, prefiring me, its either that or they have a crazy timing and perception and a badass ear, because that's just CRAZY, You enter a TA ranked match and you know what you find when you are a non-ranked player? no. its ttk is pretty bad without headshots and it requires good aim. as a sniper player i practice sniping constantly just to have mediocre aim. skill should be rewarded
Going from Playstation only to crossplay on is night and day.
- On PC, everyone knows where you are at all times.
- People jump and prefire corners where there's no possible way they'd know you were there.
- TTKs are almost instant, as every shot is a headshot, even as they jump and slide.
- Snipers consistently hit you as you're launching off a jump pad at speed.
- Grenades land exactly at your feet while completely hidden.
- People demat the floor from under you while you're nowhere near the cashout station.
It's absolute cancer. Just today we played against a team of two mids using the launcher who got to the final, and didn't miss a single shot all game. Even while both of you were jumping off pads or falling off a building.
Going back to PS-only is like stepping into a different dimsension.

This could be for tournament, or casual, or both, but fix the spawn points. More specifically, make it so that if a team with the least amount of points gets wiped, and then respawns, they respawn closer to the CashOut for a better chance at stealing it. In a similar fashion, if a team with the most amount of points gets wiped, they spawn further away; doing so does ultimately make it difficult for said team, but because they are in the lead a little bit of a challenge should be placed on them.

Just got a game where there was a medium with a riot shield protecting and healing a heavy that just spammed the alternate attack on barricades on the platform which pushed it forward and side to side much faster. I think out of combat it's healing is pretty good but if you get hit it should drop the healing to 20% of it's normal amount for 1.5-2 seconds and resets every time you take damage.
On top of this increase the overheating cap to ~500 instead of the current ~350
Will finally be fun to play against, it's too powerful atm and makes turret and demat just inadequite in comparison.
Ever since they removed multi-hit from the sledgehammer heavy attack I have had numerous occasions where direct hits from the heavy attack do not register (might I remind you that the glitch occurred with patch 2.8 which was the patch to fix hit validation) I feel as if removing multi-hit has removed what fixed sledgehammer in the first place, I never had this problem before multi-hits removal

Recoil pattern on SMGs on controller feel like shit, can't properly adjust to hit consistant (to my accuracy) headshots. Might I suggest you make some changes to them? Maybe a bit less tug initially and some more depth to the variance of the movement of the recoil.

Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

Just joined, but question. Didn't the team fix the backstab from the front bug? I just had two lights using dash to backstab me as a heavy, from the front. Anyone else experience that?
I'd like to reiterate my feedback again with some of my biggest gripes with this season and that which is causing me to have less fun. For starters, the power creep and introduction of so many soft and hard crowd control options.
Combine glitch mine revealing you, the glitch effect it gives, sonar buff, hook hard stunning and displacing you all potentially and likely happening to you in one lobby, potentially all at once, and it doesn't even feel like I'm focused on the objective of the cashout anymore. I'm more focused on playing cat and mouse with things that will reveal my position or prevent my ability to take action or instantly get me killed.
We rightfully nerfed stun gun because loss of control isn't good, then add a displacement/hard stun in one with the hook. Why? Any fps game that has this mechanic it is hated.
Please consider making hook a gadget that does everything it currently does, minus the ability to affect players. Power creep and the problem of buffing by proxy. Let's take the flamethrower for example. Previously it was an underused weapon that had niche uses that could have gone with a buff or two. Now? It's an insanely frustrating tool used by heavies using hook, allowing them to forcibly stun you and place you directly in front of them with no avoiding it. Weapons like the shotguns and flamethrower are buffed by proxy by simply having silly things like the hook in the game and it's not a fun time to get hooked around a corner, and instantly dying. This season introduces a lot of questionable choices that seem fine in the surface but are frustrating in practice buffing sonar or the new glitch mine. When you run into lobbies with mostly lights, all running sonar, it feels like the enemy team has recon senses again. It feels awful and prevents mediums and heavies from making plays. Same with glitch mine, the radius is too high on it, the reveal aspect of it gives away your position, and it only compounds the other power creep.

I second nerfing the damn throwing knives. Return the buffs to M60 and Lewis as well, or at the very least M60. Fix the knife backstab so it cannot be done that easily by dashing into people. Turn up the lights health regen (as they have become riskless glass cannons, what the hell is with that?). Focus on IMO buffing other characters to maintain parity with Lights. IMO it feels like right now Lights are in a (good) position but because every other class didn't get the buffs to bring them up to the same level, they feel awful.

Season 3 seemed like off to a super hype start especially after Season 2. I had the impression the devs were honing in and getting the game in good shape. As an avid fan of this game I know have to admit that some of the issues are too blatant to ignore. As well as concuring with the more legit grievances I have seen posted on these threads.
Notably (not in any order , or conclusively) ;
Matchmaking , In terms of just World Tour, its pretty wonky. I basically resorted to only playing when friends are available as solo queue becomes essentially babysitting completely new players to the game (literally level 1) , or even worse players who are familiar with the basics but make foolhardy decisions. I absolutely recognize the learning curve however it isnt fun to be a part of a team of 3 with the other 2 unaware of things which get them smacked . I could list several ways, but most simply is lack of knowing where the other players are / anticipation. I might as well add just poor calls ( eg running to a cashout x m away that even if there were no other players on the map wouldnt have enough time for a steal, and all too frequently in these situations there is a much closer cashout with more time on it )
Bugs , are worse than arkansas in the summer atm. Some which are worth mentioning are the infinite loading screen glitch, lag on the new map, also every once in a while when reconnecting I spawn in as a generic mid rather than with my loadout metadata, another is sometimes my weapon wont ads, or even fire. Frankly these last two are borderline unacceptable on a fps. These are just the ones im mentioning.

Terminal Attack, ...The audience is leaving the spectator seating in the arena scotty. I actually love this when it was in rotation and wanted it to stay as a casual mode, but I def feel the decision to make it ranked was ... odd. The options in this game lead to a pretty decisive Light ( generally sniper , invis ) meta which is comparatively broken to the other options.
Its a bit grueling to sit thru the whole 13 rounds and just doesnt feel all that fun tbh.

Respawns, this is more subtle, but worth the mention. I have at times respawned directly in front of the enemy team and immediately get gunned down. Often enough that it gets kind of fruatrating. Also after playing the game for a while the timers for teamwipes are a tad too long, it would be healthy to lower it by a at least a couple seconds as there are times even with good tactical plays there just isnt enough time to steal or get ahead of the vault chases. Similarily it feels like the farther respawn points can be asymmetrical to positioning, and several of these consecutively seem to lead to an unfair advantage.
Weapon balance, At the start of this Season I went thru every single weapon of every class and some just seem totally unusable as there are just all around better alternatives ( notably ks23, revolver, flowertube, 93r ). The first 3 noted there require some level of cheese to execute. The fcar soft nerf put it just behind the akm and more importantly lowered its skill expression. The revolver accuracy stats are way off too, I recently ran some tests and it does not consistently hit the same point after about 8m. Also on some melee weapons the hit boxes just dont line up with the arc of the weapon. The spear, its has a beautiful but overly fancy - impractical - 3rd person attack. The ballerina dance goes on too long to really ever come in handy. I could comment on all the weapons, but to keep it short Im just going to mention these.

Destruction feels way over tuned now I don't think a couple grenades should topple a whole building. A lot of contested points the whole building crumbles even without any heavies in the game.
If the riot didn't get insta killed by pyro (which is a bug and unintentional), if arrows didn't get stuck in your vision, if the winchclaw didn't go straight through the riot shield, if glitch mines disabled heavies mid charge, if the sword duals and sledge ignore the shield, if heavies didn't have to take a quick melee to kill, if the sideways shield blocked flamethrower while bishoping, IF MEDIUM ACTUALLY HAD GOOD GADGETS FOR SYNERGY WITH RIOT, if you could actually have riot equipped on your back like the pan in PUBG, if the contant noise that the riot makes while walking is changed, if the riot didn't cover 95 percent of your vision when picking up a cashbox, if the riot would negate some melee damage while blocking like blades (including slam), if Embark actually nerfed the RPG...
only then... will the riot be balanced.

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

- Play Test your game, none of these issues would be present if you did play testing (You can die off spawn in Terminal Attack)
- Add regular ranked
- Better Anti Cheat (DMA Bypasses Easy Anti - Cheat, that's why you have a cheater epidemic)
- Balance
- Skill Based Match Making (Why is there unranked/bronze playing with/against diamonds in ranked)
- A lot of unranked players are cheaters, they ruin ranked for everyone else and once they get banned they make a new account,** Better Anti Cheat or IP Ban is the only solution **
- If you shot and then you died the bullets don't count, do the bullets magically stop mid air? it should count after death especially if its hit scan

extra gamemodes? reason most people dont play this game cause of the unique gamemodes, not the movement or destruction. you want more players? add in playlists that have simple variations of TDM or popular arcade-ish modes. most of the playerbase are 30-40 dads trying to blow off steam after work and not think much about the game, outside of "i see, i shoot, i win"

I want to make an addition to my idea of a movementspeed increasing gadget for light. I still think it would be a fun idea, but to make it more balanced I could image, that after the time ran out for increasing your movement speed, there is a really short time of exhaustion. After the, idk 15 seconds or so increased speed, there could be 2 seconds or something, were you move slower than normally as a tradeoff.

Season 1 had the best gunplay.
Heavy has been nerfed from a tank role to an engineer essentially because of the constant shield and gun nerfs. Shields feel useless and so does the barricade because it just invites players to set it on fire and make it into a hazard instead.

Day 109 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.
- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored four bullets every second, 50 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:
"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:

-Ospuze
Etc.
During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".
(Gives me reason to hop back on the game, me and my friends are working towards a goal now. +++ Add Bonus Points for playing with company mates)
This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show AND this gives people a reason to play with friends and implore their friends to hop on The Finals with them.
Create specialized cosmetics for these sponsors. Once your company selects one they are locked in for specialized one-time cosmetics.
This creates urgency AND rarity since -for example- the season 4 OSPUZE set will never show up again. (Same for Engimo, Vaiiya, etc.)

I just got stuck with teammates who only destroyed the map, both of them, for 80% of the map. They wouldn't be doing that if you didn't make it a literal challenge....what the actual fuck?
When is Embark going to fix the loading screen bug? I am forced to quit the game from ranked, and I either get a 30 minute ban, or the game gets cancelled because i cant rejoin in under a minute and I get banned

The Defibrillator is too much of a mandatory ability for Medium.
So much so that if you don't bring it, you are considered to be throwing/trolling.
I propose to integrate it into the Healing Beam specialization since it fits perfectly with it.
- When activating the Healing specialization, you can scroll to switch between Heal Beam and Defib.
- To balance this change, I think Defib should be nerfed in terms of cooldown.
- This will make the defib a bit more meaningful and impactful in those clutch situations.
An interesting way to make the 2 parts of this specialization more fun to use would be to have them interact with each other. Imagine this:
- The Defibrillator has a very long cooldown that can be reduced by healing teammates.
- If you overheat your Healing Beam, it also pauses the cooldown timer of the Defib for its duration.
- When you Defib someone, your Healing Beam meter is reset to full capacity.
This will also free up the Medium class to choose more gadget combinations

Cash Grab: in the practice arena is that wall where you can try throwing the cube through different holes. That got me thinking how fun it would be to have a football style game mode.
- Two teams battling over one cube, trying to snag it and throw it into one of the holes on the other team’s wall to score points.
- I’m thinking 6v6: GK Heavy, Two Medium midfielders, 3 light attackers.
- Squad wipe would be a guaranteed goal though. So, maybe no respawn timer so the focus is always on out playing the other team and not just going for squad wipes.
- It could be done by using smaller sections of the maps that exist.

I get no rewards for out-playing my opponent in this gamemode. 50% of players Sweat like it's ranked - since there's 0 alternative, and the other 50% camp with snipers since there's no incentive to win. It's the worst of both worlds. We dont get rewards for sweating, and we dont get a casual experience either. If you're going to make me work my pants off to win in world tour, can I at least get some rewards for it? If I could ask for one thing - can we get some more transparency or communication? Season 1 we had updates from you guys way more often and had questions answered here in the discord. We all just feel a little left in the dark. This of course is not your intentions, but it's coming off that way and scaring all the streamers, creators and many casuals away.
It'd also be nice to know if Map Variations are coming any time soon or any actual changes to the mode. Cashout was removed from Ranked to "be tweaked" but so far we've heard of no changes at all? Would be nice to hear about anything cooking at Embark. Thank you guys, look forward to seeing more patches and content!

5.No speed penalty when shooting when I’m shooting an SMG and scope in I can’t strife as fast as when I’m hit firing when they shoot their knives, they can strafe perfectly fine this combined with an invasive dash is the most annoying oppressive weapon.
But if it’s a skill issue because I can sit in a room with mines set and maybe a turret then I guess your gameplay must be in a nice fire place and a tent.

Man, I have been a huge supporter of this game... I've stayed positive through everything.. but I'm hitting a wall.. I'm really starting to hate ranked TA.. It's all I've played because I want the diamond skin for the lewy.. but 50k is a ridiculous amount of RS considering the terrible matchmaking. I'm a solo queue.. There are only ~200 player with that amount... so diamond at this point is more rare than ruby... I started today working my way up to 37.5k RS, did well most games but got bad teams and have been obliterated down to 33k.. This last match I went positive (9/8 - only person on team to go positive) and my team was out matched by 40k RS and I lost 1.2k!!! STUPID... The ranked TA and the amount of RS you're locking the diamond lewy behind is really upsetting. To the point where I don't even want to play the game anymore. It's so obviously flawed and its the main mode... why even switch?! Really sucks cause I love this game so much... It;s worse that I feel this way now and we are at the very beginning of the season....

Lh1 seems to be back to season 1 stat area or am i totally off ? Played it a few times then and then again recently .
it does 1 less damage, much slower fire rate, but they "buffed" the recoil. but along with the slower fire rate it over all was a nerf and feels really terrible to use. It's problem before was how often you would die while leaving enemies at 2-5hp, now you die before you can even get that shot in to put them at 2-5hp

New map idea: Seaside carnival. American style. Horror attraction full of unexpected traps and shit. If ferris wheel is destroyed, it will roll all the way in the map until it reached and fall at the entrance. Anyone who gets in the way will be squashed. Roller coasters can be ride by players for long range advantage point. House of mirrors will have the best advantage to hide from players. Circus is filled with destroyable explosives (not red canister).

The recoil makes the whole thing seem like its going to backflip outta ones hands lol. I like it, seemed effective, but felt like was pretty hard to ads properly. I wanted to shoot it a tad slower to line em up, but spamming the trigger just right got the health bar down. Goes without saying i guess

@pearl kiln pls hear me out. 3 consecutive powershift matches and ive been getting all lights in my team. Not just powershift. The devs need to heavily bring out new weapons gadgets and other stuff for mediums and heavies (but still dont forget lights tho) and buff the weapons like lewis gun that used to keep lights in check. theyre getting out of hand, and increasing in numbers so the game is now getting hellishly boring. (Something like 4 gadgets for medium and heavy each, but one/two for light)
Do the devs actually listen? I search "knives" and yet again, 20 out of 20 saying it needs to be nerfed, crying out for the devs to fix the ridiculous decision to buff an already strong weapon.
At this point were talking to a brick wall.

A zone that each team has to exceed from 45% to 55% makes much more sense to me honestly.

i just got into a game with four gold verses 3 plat 1 ruby and 1 sus as unranked, its purely broken, as well as invis and snipers in this mode
edit: turns out it was 5 solos of 4 gold 1 ruby VS 5 stacks of 3 plat 1 ruby and 1 unranked who is really good at the game. It didnt take much fame points from me but it was such a waste of time since its a destined lose plus none of my teammates were happy about it, one even rage quit after we chatted about what the hell this ranked game is going.
Do you find it fair that when two teams fight around the 50% mark the team behind the gets the platfoms for like 2 seconds and pushes just a milimeter over the 50% mark they deserves to win for that?
Or the team that barely manages to cross 50% before the end deserves to win 100% rightfully?

And if you would have to move the platform to 55% that would not change anything its the same scenario at 49.9999% to 50% as 54.999% to 55%.
What would you do if no one is on the platform on OT and it sits a e.g. 51%.

there are apparently 2 separate teams for ARC and The Finals
There should be a separate report reason category specifically for intentionally AFK'ing players, I've been getting multiple randos that just stand there deliberately(i keep watch over them for a couple of seconds and they move an inch just before the auto-disconnect kicks in), not sure if they're bots or actual players who waste their time trying to bring misery to others.
Also, the in-game update logs or whatever they're called("X has been kicked/disconnected") pop up intermittently and repeatedly even when the disconnect happened minutes ago, it becomes misleading and distracting.

The Finals devs are the most incompetent dev team I've ever seen, it's so obvious the issues of the game some playtesting will reveal it, but they don't play test. If the devs tried playing ranked they would fix it, but they don't
TY for removing the requirement for new players to complete 3 games of TA before being able to try the actual game modes the finals is known about.
Season 3 changes are mostly good. Health regen values, guardian turret change, glitch mine rework, and gadget changes are all good. Alongside some minor weapon tweaks and improvements to useability such as KS-23 pump rate.
Now the bad.
Remember when cloak light db spam that can 2-shot any class in S1? Well, now we have throwing knives (nobody still uses the alt-fire post nerf only spam), bow with no falloff, and db is back to being able to 2-shot any class.
Remember when light stun gun spam giving free kills? Well, now we have the winch claw for heavy that not only stuns, but also pulls and allows them to do a survivable point blank rpg.
What happened to the "long ttk" gameplay?
The CL40 was given a damage nerf and a fire rate buff, making it one of the second lowest dps to the lowest dps weapon. The only possible reason for this is due to it's burst being too good in TA but in TTK, it's one of the slowest and will lose most duels if not careful. It counters L, mid to M, and weak to H. This change made it unable to fight heavies at all. The pump rate and fire rate would also be considered as a nerf as due to it depleting the 4 rounds quicker and spending more time instead with the long reload.
In s2 ranked, despite it being a poor pick, I still brought it to plat. It's main gimmick is despite the low dps, you need to play safely/area denial/insane movement and learn its trajectory for mid-long shots. Before the change, the fire rate, reload, and ammo was low but it was rewarding to hit direct hits.
Overall. Didn't care about TA, but if core game and balance changes are catered to it instead of the core gameplay of the game it will mess up balances for other modes. Showing more that, already built gameplay and balance isn't fit for it. Most of the patch felt like tossing out the balance work made during s1 and s2.
I dunno feels ok, a bit sad when you can't kill a Heavy with full mag tho ngl

I don’t play TA so I can’t speak on balance there but please don’t listen to the people on reddit and discord complaining about lights being OP in cashout. What people are complaining about is the casual nature of current cashout, they just don’t realize it yet. MMH and HHM is popular for cashout when playing to win. When there’s not much incentive to win (or punishment for losing) then more people are going to be open to playing something fun (light is fun to play). As more people choose light on other teams, it makes light more viable for anyone else that picks it.
It’s not a balance issue. It’s a casual issue. Light doesn’t need nerfs.
BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

Balance changes need a lot of work all around. We should have a roadmap and/or changes that the community can vote on frequently offering constructive criticism, many of us care to help. For example, I really want a 3v3 and/or 5v5 cashout mode. I think if we all could vote/discuss changes that both the community and dev team both offer, it would help build an OPEN community of artists/players to join in and help make the game more enjoyable for everyone (Except cheaters).

I have a request or a suggestion for the private match, could you make a button next to the player names in the lobby of the private matches, where a team selector appears when you click and you can choose your team. Because if there are 3 of you and you want to do an all against all, it doesn't work because it always turns into a 2 against 1.

Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

Ranked terminal attack needs to change how they demote and promote. Why am I getting demoted 800+ after leading my team in all stats but two? Even though we lose 7-4? What else am I supposed to do. You’re pretty much saying all you care about in ranked right now is winning. I can’t do anything about my 3 randoms combining for 8 kills through 11 rounds. I feel the promotion needs to be more individual based, even if you go to a game 13 and lose it still demotes you! Ranked terminal attack NEEDS an update. Why change the ranked game mode away from what you built your game on and then not do anything to help change it. Very dissapointed with the devs this season as they promote wanting to listen to their fan base yet have done nothing to combat current problems. Ranking, OP lights, certain equipment or guns being useless.
Please next patch, nerf the throwing knives at least, preferably winch claw too

The finals also has the most open devs. They actually tell us stuff. Unlike COD where they go: were deleting everyones fav map f you.

New mode idea:
Cash Grab: in the practice arena is that wall where you can try throwing the cube through different holes. That got me thinking how fun it would be to have a football style game mode.
• Two teams battling over one cube, trying to snag it and throw it into one of the holes on the other team's wall to score points.
• I'm thinking 6v6: GK Heavy, Two Medium midfielders, 3 light attackers.
• Squad wipe would be a guaranteed goal though. So, maybe no respawn timer so the focus is always on out playing the other team and not just going for squad wipes.
• It could be done by using smaller sections of the maps that exist.

Here I used an AI to help me organize a bulleted breakdown of an idea for a new game mode in The Finals, inspired by Hardpoint
CORE PRINCIPLES:
Appeal to new players:
Faster respawns and a focus on maintaining control of a designated area make it easier to jump in and contribute.
Fast-paced and engaging:
Short to medium length matches and constant objective switching keep the action flowing.
Teamwork encouraged:
Earning money is based on team presence within the zone, rewarding coordinated pushes and revives.
I believe the long respawns in every game mode has turned away a lot of people. "Fast paced & Chaotic" don't seem palatable when mixed with high respawn times. I understand we want to incentivise team work and revives but I think a game mode with fast respawns is well overdue in a game like The Finals.
GAMEPLAY:
Team Setup:
Two options for team size: 4 teams of 3 players or 3 teams of 4 players.
-Here I want to increase team size because I feel like people want bigger team sizes in the finals and we want a lot of destruction.
I feel like 3 teams of 4 wouldn't be too much and would be fun for a casual game mode.
Blitz Zone:
A designated area on the map becomes the objective (Blitz Zone or whatever it's named). It can be circular, shaped like a building, or highlighted by a beam.
Earning Money:
Teams earn money based on the number of players within the Blitz Zone. More teammates present translates to higher earnings per tick.
Example:
One person in the area will earn the base amount of points - $10 per tick
Two people earn the base amount of $10 per tick PLUS $5 each (since there are 2 team mates inside.)
Three people all earn the base amount of $10 per tick PLUS a bonus of $10 each (since there are 3 team mates inside
Full team will receive a base amount of $10 per tick PLUS a bonus of $15 or $20 (since there is a full team alive in the zone)
Match Duration:
The game lasts between 5-10 minutes with the Blitz Zone active for 2-4 minutes before switching to a new location.
This is a starting point, and all aspects are open for discussion and refinement.

I've heard "Season X will decide if the game lives or dies" a bit now and I'm really questioning if the game will ever die with so many out of touch players like those who like TA.
Hopefully these messages could raise awareness to the team at embark that they're fumbling big time.
Of course it's changing the scenario - It allows the players to achieve victory through achieving a 10% advantage against the enemy - even though the decision is made through seemingly 5% it's still a 10% advantage against the enemy whereas the 50% mark means barely any advantage .
5% is not much but it's enough but it allows for a longer "overtime" than the current version.
The current version is unfair towards the defending team (with lets say 51%) as it allows the enemy team to go into overtime and win after simply pushing for 1% which is ridiculous.
Therefore implementing a way that reqiures both teams to identify a winner more clearly is beneficial for both sides.
I think the best solutions would be to say:
- If the fight is happening in that area, send the teams into overtime and give to the first team that manages to exceed the enemys 5%.
- If the platform doesnt manage to get out or is empty, end the game after 3 minutes overtime and make it a draw
- Slow/speed the plattforms respectively per missing team members

Terminal Attack is a horrible game mode. It’s not fun. It’s not competitive. It’s not the finals. I will not spend money on this game until it is permanently removed. A limited time rotating quick play mode is the only acceptable way to have it in the game.

But if it were 2 teams of 5 that could work really well
Maybe with cash loss on wipe and coins
Do you have all of them inside and risk a wipe or do you keep someone outside at a safe range at the cost of money
Might opens up some interesting strats
Maybe running a designated light to rush in, take a statue, run out and revive?
Maybe if thats a lot of work a simple cashout station that can be capped and gives money over time could work too, to save development time and perhaps give a clearer focus on a specific objective point

The dual blades dont deal enough damage to compete with the famas even in melee range, I should not have lost this. Arguably, they should remove the third attack in the combo, Increase the swing speed by 15-20% and make the swords deal a consistent 55 dmg per swing instead of the 50 50 60 60 70 ratio we have now

Since this is supposed to be a casual and chaotic game mode I don't think third partying is an issue at all.
Each team makes money as long as they have at least one character inside the area (a big ass area). The team that has more people in make exponentially more money though.
It's about being good slayers and holding down the fort or killing people who try to get to the area.
2 teams of five is fine for other game modes but I want chaos and unpredictability in this game mode. 3 teams of 4 is fine for a casual mode. Just keep killing and stay alive in the area. No need to worry about third partying since nobody can "steal" from you.
I didn't add a penalty for cash loss on team wipe since the respawns will be fast AF compared to other game modes.
By the end of the game teams will have A LOT of money potentially.
Do you want 4 heavies bunkered down?
Do you want 4 mediums with zip lines and revives?
Do you want 4 lights with high mobility and burst damage?
Who knows.
Bottom line, its designed to be casual and the team that has the best mechanics involved is going to win (giving exception for team work and strategy)
It's a simple mode concept and easy to pick up. When people realize their mechanics aren't getting them wins each time they will realize how important picking team based equipment is important in the finals.
It will be a better starting game mode than TA.

Great, exciting and unique gameplay. I had fun in every season and was always able to play at the top, but that has changed. You can waste your time in this season. You come across a cheater in almost every round and these are also players who play in the top 500. I'm currently in the top 500 myself, but it's just annoying to play against cheaters. I'm not going to waste my time until they solve the problem. You've lost another player.

Well then we can explore a "direct deposit" effect where you get money siphoned from the team you kill.
As you said there would be a penalty for a team wipe: Money gets directly deposited from your team to the team that deals the finishing blow + a 3-5 second respawn (still small but not terrible) & they have to make their way back to the objective
And all of that increases the gap in money accumulated.

Something is definitely wrong with the matchmaking system. I keep getting lvl 1-5 teammates while being lvl 60. They keep ruining my games and we're allways getting destroyed by the enemy

- RPG > damage reduced DMG from 140 to 100, full damage only on direct hit
- Winch hook > remove from game, or rework it completely
- Mesh shield > Reduced HP from 750 to 700
- M60 > increase damage drop off range by 10 meters
- Lewis gun > clean up the recoil pattern to be less aggressive horizontally
- Charge and slam > reduce damage by half so you cant instantly kill M's, reduce cooldown. Should be more utility than 1 shot cheese.
Medium:
- Recon senses > re-add to game - rework to be a single ping like recon nades but originating from the player. 3 charges with a pretty long recovery time
- Turret > Add a attack delay of 0.3s so it doesnt instantly shoot if you are in its FOV
- Defib > Remove invincibility time after getting ressed
- FCAR > 3rd shot of recoil jumps way to hard right, reduce that horizontal recoil
- FAMAS > Increase damage drop off range
- R.357 > increase damage drop off range and slightly lower reload time

For Terminal Attack, I think it'll be cool to show the face of the contestant on the top of the screen instead of using generic "faceless" icons!
QOL suggestion: Have the loadout you picked in game persist rather than defaulting back to your contestant loadout.
This is most annoying in powershift when you find a good loadout one game and it resets to your contestant default the next, meaning every game you are updating the loadout again and again until you go back to the main screen. This is annoying to go all the way out and it disrupts flow. (DONT disrupt momentum when people are having fun 🙂 ) Most times I want to keep that preset for cashout, but I would like to just keep going with the build I currently have when I re-queue
I think you should have it so that if you do click on your contestant build (in PS for example) it acts as a preset and then it will update your current loadout.. which will now follow you from match to match.
Also consider another option to switch between HML current loadouts, rather than having to pick your contestant preset to do so.
For example, maybe I came up with a light build then wanted to try a heavy one while in a PS match. If I want to go back to the light build I have to choose a contestant preset and then re-assign everything to get back where I was. Most people don't notice that it loads the preset and spawn with the wrong items. So maybe always have switch class buttons that will go back to your last build with that class and then also have the contestant preset. This could be as simple as just having: Change class: Light Medium Heavy and then below it have "Contestant Presets"

- Terminal Attack ranked system doesn't work without Skill Based Match Making, you will get griefed by smurfs. Higher RS will queue with low RS smurfs so they will have small loss and big win. It is also unfair for new players to go up against diamonds/top 500
- If I solo queue I shouldn't go up against a 3,4 or 5 stack premade teams, it should only be other solo queue players
- Add regular ranked
- Better Anti Cheat (DMA Bypasses Easy Anti - Cheat, that's why you have a cheater epidemic)
- Balance
- A lot of unranked players are cheaters, they ruin ranked for everyone else and once they get banned they make a new account,** Better Anti Cheat or IP Ban is the only solution **
- Remove snipers and melee's <3
- Play Test your game, none of these issues would be present if you did play testing (You can die off spawn in Terminal Attack)
The Finals devs are the most incompetent dev team I've ever seen( I say incompetent because they know the issues but they don't care), it's so obvious the issues of the game some playtesting will reveal it, but they don't play test. If the devs tried playing ranked they would fix it, but they don't
Matchmaking is a complete disaster. I was the only ruby on ym team vs 5 stack ruby. I had a plat, 2 gold and a silver on my team. How the actual fuck am I supposed to play a 5 stack of light rubys?

They need to make a "squad" system next season.
For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:
"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:
-Vaiiya
-Volpe
-Engimo
-Ospuze
Etc.
During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".
(Gives me reason to hop back on the game, me and my friends are working towards a goal now. +++ Add Bonus Points for playing with company mates)
This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show AND this gives people a reason to play with friends and implore their friends to hop on The Finals with them.
Create specialized cosmetics for these sponsors. Once your company selects one they are locked in for specialized one-time cosmetics.
This creates urgency AND rarity since -for example- the season 4 OSPUZE set will never show up again. (Same for Engimo, Vaiiya, etc.)

Perhaps make vaults spawn closer to stations, and open faster (minimising third partying and poor macro decisions). Spawns also don't seem optimal? Equidistance is key in the beginning, but perhaps there should always be a markedly closer vault for each team - so you increase the likeliness of a 1 on 1 at each station (and that they both start at a similar time)
can you remove sticking things to trophies? It's like not fun gameplay and there's no way to unstick them

Fix your matchmaking for ranked, it's absolutely horrid. How can I be ranked as a Platinum 4 and get matched with a team of full Ruby players in the 50k+ RS range? Not to mention getting matched up against the same team full of platinum players while I get a team full of gold. Getting matched against the same team over and over again shouldn't even be happening.

No easy fix for a problem that comes from a clear lack of players in the mode, hopefully they can figure out how to improve the overall experience in TA so it's more attractive to all players and gets a bump in attention

Terminal attack is dominated by light players who would rather run laps around the map looking for their next kill then dare even spawn with the OBJ key in their hand. Some of the worst gameplay I’ve ever experienced has been this season. From the unchecked powerhouse light builds to the cockroach heavies with the hook, to the medium players who could arguably be reported for having pinpoint accuracy with weapons I’ve been using for three seasons and still have mastered to that degree I’d say this live service shit stack has maybe until the end of the season until the announcement of server close. I’m honestly saddened to watch such a steady decline in a game that could’ve thrived in today’s shooter world.

Devs listen to us it’s not fun at all, you made the longest distance weapon able to one shot with zero drops in accuracy and a relatively quick fire rate. Add bullet drop, reduce damage, idc what you have to do just listen to your players more than twice a month
Add the breathing thing from other games if you must where the scope sways a bit and you can concentrate for like 2 seconds

It only one shots lights, and thats if you hit the head.
Also in a 1v1 vs a med/heavy it will lose if the med or heavy is as good as the sniper. You cannot fire two shots before The ak will kill you (or scar/shotgun/famas, Im unsure about the revolver.) and a heavy just has to rpg you and tag you and its over. tho 3 of there guns can also kill you before you can bolt a second shot. if hes as good as you and is hitting you. Granted most fights both players aren't perfect so you don't die before you get a second or third, or even fourth shot off. vs a light is where it's strong but it heavily comes down to who sees who first in those match ups cause the hp is so low on both of you and lights in general have pretty high dps. It excels at range ofc, but that's the nature of the gun. Much like the db excels are cqb.
It feels strong in TA cause of the low regen, so chip damage is huge, and people don't regen to above 100 (so it will one shot them if they're at the capped regen hp - issue with the mode not the sniper tho).

The sway idea is pretty good though, adding sway after scoping for ~1 second would discourage hard scoping. Sniper as a quickscope weapon fits pretty well in the game, its just not a good fit if you stand accross the map.

Lights can easily win those fights, all of their special abilities are for moving or hiding. It’s not like you’d even have issues when super close because the hipfire of the sniper is pretty similar to a shotgun in this game. It’s not just a TA problem. They guard from 500 meters away in cash out and are kind of OP in powershift too. Bullet drop or sway please.
TA sucks unless you have a 5 man team then you are unbeatable the matchmaking is garbage and the light sniper just rules the entire match make weapon banning and let us pick what we dont want

i get stuck in map loading screen in the finals round mainly every other game. i tried to reinstall nothing is fixing it. happens randomly
Kyoto is a map that is clearly designed for terminal attack. It is not a fun cashout map, spawns are terrible, cashout placements are bad and obviously re-use terminal locations. There aren't enough terminal locations so the remaining cashout spawns are just literally in the middle of no where with no building or cover, or on one of the awkwardly placed moving platforms or suspended structures which don't feel great on this super small map. The damn moving platforms regularly pass on top of each other because it is so cramped! I regularly fight over the first vault for half the game while the other team gets the cashout for free because it continuously spawns you inside of other people. The map is hard to see on, there's too much visual clutter, and its laid out like a valorant map. There is little room for destruction outside of a few cashout spots. Also, the water is cancerous to move in and you cannot see anything in it IE mines/motion sensors/c4s.

Dash makes it harder to be hit, and it makes it harder to shoot. invis with a sniper might give you a single shot advantage but then you're pretty much dead. Also invis with a sniper barely functions if you're scoped in with invis you get this nice blinding scope flair while invisible, rendering invisibility nearly moot. grapple is similar to dash. The hipfire on it isn't like a shotgun at all if you're point blank sure its not to bad to hit but you're not likely to hit the head, and if you're noscoping vs a med or a heavy you're dead cause you need 3-4 body shots. If they're guarding from 500 meter's away then... use one of your abilities to make it so they can't see you? Shield? dematerialize? Shoot just blow up the floor and drop it. They can't glitch from 500 meters away. If they're playing that far away in cashout you have a 3v2 on point. Also altho 500 meter's your exageration, there's also damage fall off on it. Its far think its over 100? when it starts to fall off (pretty much only valid on powershift spawn to spawn shooting) But it does take the sniper from a 1 head shot to a 2 headshot on light >.>
Powershift they're decently strong in but again if they're not playing on point they're not going to be moving it. you can send a player (or yourself) to engage them and keep them from taking pot shots at your team on/around point. Or again use tools to mitigate there ability to shoot. Its also the only mode you can straight up swap class so if you need, just.. snipe them better.
Sway's fine to discoruage literal hard scoping an angle. But otherwise use the tools at hand to counter them
Again TA is by far where they're most powerful cause you have limited uses of tools and the chip damage matters ALOT. Anywhere else you can just take cover, or make cover and heal.
The guns fine where it is, at most add sway to discourage hard scoping.

Real talk though I’ve used nearly every weapon and gadget in this game and won’t complain about any of them unless I’ve used them myself and can tell they’re OP. Sniper is too easy and if you look at the stats, for most games snipers will have the least amount of deaths. Sorry if you don’t like my opinion, this is my feedback in the feedback channel.

Get rid of TA. It’s a shit mode and it’s causing people to complain about balancing issues that are only a problem because of that mode. The existing modes are amazing.
The unfair third party thing can be handled by changing it so only one cash out spawns at a time. That way everyone gets third party and no one gets by with a freebie.
Power shift is great for casuals or people who want a more straight combat focused mode.
Oh, and add a football/basketball/quidditch type game mode. Two teams, each have a wall like that one in the practice arena that you throw the cash box in. There is one cash box that the teams fight over and try to score with.

Execption but mostly isnt the case. Even if you get reported, if you are not cheating you dont have to worry, embark verify your stats before they ban someone. And 20+ kills are in casual cash out possible but in high ranked its impossoble without cheating.

Okay, there is a new exploit top players are abusing in Asia region and i have just witnessed first hand. I have been placed against a team with 3 ruby players, and at the beginning of the match one of my teammates had said that if they lose the first round they will cancel the match. now i thought that wasnt possible after the first round but low and behold we had won the first round only to be met with all 3 ruby's leaving and the server crashing. This is seriously disappointing that players are able to exploit the system like this and should be faced with a major RS loss for abandoning the match. My team as well as the poor enemy teammates who had just had more than half their team up and leave is a disgrace to the rank system and how these guys can exploit their ways to the top. Definitely something that needs to be addressed.

i was literally about to come in here and talk about this. As a player solo queueing there are multiple different problems with the current ranked system, such as enemies leaving to cancel the match after the first round, or your own team trying it (and if not everybody leaves the match doesnt cancel) so you either face a ban + count as loss or you just play the match and get dominated until a loss. And if the match for whatever reason isnt canceled after the first round the matchmaking is absolute garbage. In no world in any game should someone queue into ranked and get placed on the same team with someone that is 1/10th of their elo. Why am I at 37 k elo getting placed into the same game as bronzes at 2-4k elo? The players in bronze are absolutely clueless on the objective of the game or even the keybindings and its not even their fault that the matchmaking is pairing us together.
I played in Season 1 ranked and got diamond, i came back to try out the new things that s3 has to offer, and im very disappointed with the ranked system. Cash out tournament for ranked had its own flaws but it was both challenging and fun to play even as a solo. With this current system of ranked it is very hard to solo queue and win. The fact that you cannot heal makes it so much harder to carry a team of bad players. The only solution to this is to limit matching making to players of the same rank as you (ie 30k-50k for plat or 20-30k for gold etc) or to allow players to heal either through regen or through healing beams so they can actually carry. Peeking a room and there being a sentry there can literally ruin a round from just unhealable chip damage.
Sorry for the long rant I felt it was neccessary based on the state of the current ranked system
I'm overall pretty happy with S3. A few issues still persist though:
- Lights are OP after the buffs. They're making games oppressive, and turning them into TDM. The 'selfish' class cannot be allowed to be the dominant one. It sucks all the creativity and teamwork out the game.
- Stun Gun and Winch are free kills, which are miserable to fall victim to. Both need a serious rework.
- Events are still largely pointless. Only Low Gravity really has much impact. Most just get ignored.
- Server lag keeps getting worse. Some serious backend work is needed.
- Stop doing challenges that make people throw matches like the 1,000,000 destruction one. It's obnoxious.
- S3's mastery camo is awful. It's almost indistinguishable from default in game.
- World Tour needs cosmetic rewards to drive engagement. If I really wanted $2.50 of multibucks, i'd just buy them, not spend 100 hours grinding them at 2 ½ cents an hour.

Grappling hook for the Heavy class is way over powered. One fix that can use to level that out is the Heavy can graple the cash box but use the grapple to push the player away instead. Its a instant kill for light players as well as medium players. @dim yacht I kill players all the time with throwing knives so don't know what your talking about.
That completely makes the chain useless. Plus it's not an instant kill as lights can dash away and mediums can survive an m2 and then run. Also why the hell would I complain about the knives not being able to kill I'm complaining about them killing to well.
Heavy main talking about free kills but didn't mentioned RPG. The oppression comes from Heavy.
Nonetheless, Embark needs to be more creative to nerf Winch, Stun and RPG like execution and travel time, range, accuracy, damage, duration. Nerf several aspects because right now its too easy but highly rewarding.

Also people think stun's a free kill haven't fought the actual stun gun. It use to be a free kill (you use to not even be able to really turn around, or ads, or well quite literally anything beside hipfire whatever is infront of you), Now its barely useful. Its really good for denying cashouts and it can (CURRENTLY this keeps getting changed) disable specials. and slows you down. It only recently got back the ability to disable specials. I still ran it but I used it almost exclusively to deny steals, rare occasion to stop someone from chasing. It's gotten a bit more use back with denying dash/heals/shields but in terms of it being a free kill you're better off just... shooting the person with a bullet/knife, with the exception being sword/dagger where the loss of mobility matters more.
Debatably it's better to carry another nade now. Tho the ability to deny cashouts with it is the thing that's kepted me using it through out the many nerfs to it.
If you can't turn around and kill the light who just wasted his first shot on you then thats on you, esp as a heavy with an rpg >.>
Honestly the only use in stunning a heavy now is to prevent them from using shield/charge/winch. they're already slow and easy enough to hit and it doesn't disable rpg anymore.
As for winch, I don't have much of an opinion on it. if your light just dash/run away, if your heavy just kill the guy. Feel like it mainly affects medium but haven't ran into it being much of an issue after the recent nerf.

Also stun's not the issue there, you can quite literally walk away and kill them if they're melee/flamethrower. shield? Gltich. No use wasting a stun on a kill like that. Sledge doesn't kill heavies in one hit. Like i said it might affect medium more but i haven't ran into it being much of an issue after the recent nerf to it.
can you please buff the grapple, barely anyone uses the damn thing and it needs like 2-3 seconds off it's cool down.

Most heavies run melee or flamethrower now. Stun is 100% a free kill against them.
Most winch users are sledges too. Again, 100% a free kill against anything but dashers.
The challenges for the destruction one is annoying af, people come into ranked games as heavy with a hammer (having no previous experience on a heavy) and run around breaking stuff and after their mission is done they are absolutely clueless and there is no punishment for them throwing.
I agree with the statement of lights as they are very strong and make the game TDM without creativity and teamwork. In an ideal world light would be more of a supportive class using glitches + stuns + etc to disrupt and stall enemies but right now it seems they just run around killing things. Sadly there is no obvious changes that can be made without a complete rework so that will be left up to trial and error
Agreed with the camo for S3. I believe that there should be more levels to mastery in general and there should be a legendary skin reward at the end (ie weapon level 100 for a season or weapon level 100 combined etc)
As for winch and stun guns, both are a death sentence for light which is what causes this TDM playstyle because it is too dangerous as a light to play the game 'how its meant to be played' as a winch, stungun, rpg, even a turret setup on objective can kill a light. Winch needs to be more punishing on misses and should have less range to not be able to hook a player from far away and guarentee a death. Stun gun should also have shorter range because 15m gives alot of leeway for a light to get into stun range and still have dashes to chase or run away
Winch adds a very fun playstyle to heavy to allow them to have something other than goo gun/mesh dominating the meta but a good winch user can absolutely dominate games, Its the same way with lights aswell and I think both classes needs to have two distinct playstyles to really set an identity for them. There is no playstyle for light to be supportive and the only viable one is to TDM, Winch allows heavy to have Shield for support OR a winch as a more damaging role which is a good step Light just needs something like it
I use to be a medium main and now I switched to light because now medium feels a little underwhelming and is probably the worst build to play in season 3. Mediums specializations are ok definitely the worst specializations in the game the turret is mid and the healing beam is good for support but it could be way better. The demat and the data reshaper are just straight ass not a lot of use for them there good in some scenarios but otherwise garbage. Really miss the recon scanner yes it was basically wall hacks but right now so many op specializations so we really need a new specialization for for medium. Also the guns are very underwhelming and the gadgets are good. We just need a really good specialization to make the game balanced out so it’s not just light and heavy users with there broken builds running around.

Twice I have gotten into games that don’t load in and when i reset I have to sit in a game that is telling me i left and that the match will end and I receive a penalty even though i rejoined it in time this bug needs to be fixed
slightly rebuff range on the V9S maybe up to 15m start and 20m dropoff end at 75%, currently the gun sits in the same range as the M11 without doing anything better than it within that range.
or consider giving it a 2x headshot multiplier like the LH1, Sniper and Revolver

Model 1887 is the e most inconsistent shotgun in game and needs a complete rework. I shouldn’t have to be touching my opponents with the end of the barrel for every pellet to not only CONNECT but do damage. Incredible that I can watch shot after shot ricochet off of my enemies as they chew me up

I just played a game as light. Easiest game of my life and I felt too powerful. I understand that light is hard to balance, so I have a few ideas.
Nerf the accuracy of all guns except throwing knives and sniper. Would be a good start.
Give the class 25 more hp.

Smalls should have faster health regen, Large should have slower health regen (mid being the standard rate)
Hit boxes need to change for the Mid class with shield and dual swords -- shield player could be running and still blocks body shots when shield is at their side, also when shield is up, leg/feet hits don' register. Dual swords, same, they block at chest level, but all shots to head and body/ areas that are not blade width do no register.

Embark here me out, Chainsaws for heavy, imagine a heavy chasing after you like a crazed maniac with a chainsaw, you hear the chainsaw from a far distance, building up that fear like you are in a texas chainsaw movie. it is capable of tearing down walls and enemies alike. and since chainsaw don't require ammo, it would overheats just like a healing beam would. As for the right-click, it is optional to include a slashing attack.

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders

- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.

GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam
Glich trap doesent stop charge and slam because it’s something the character physically does with their body. A emp wouldn’t stop you from running a lil faster or throwing a grappling hook, but it makes sense for sheilds because they are electrical.
everytime I look at player count of the finals I see it going downwards (on steam)... I think you need to do something about it

Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

As an OCE player, it is extremely hard to find matches in ranked. I would love to see a matchmaking system that widens the scope of players to match with the longer the queue goes on. This may produce some mixed bag lobbies but would at least guarantee a match after a while.

Everybody is spamming with their bullshit, while a real problem seems to get no attention at all. The game keeps getting stuck on loading screen before entering a match in World Tour. EVERY. FUCKING. TIME!!! Yet all you pieces of trash are crying "wah nerf this, wah nerf that"...
Or just make the throwing knives have a cooldown like the arms gone tired after throwing the knives for too long

This issue has been talked about a lot already, several bug reports exist in the #1201841543926005810 channel about this exact issue and similar issues. Some CM's have even confirmed directly that this is known and the Devs are working on it.
We're all really frustrated by this issue too, and i personally get pissed off and swear at these devs alot, but perhaps dont unleash your anger towards the community, there are other issues to address as well and insulting us(the players) for not screaming about your specific issue enough, wont earn you any sympathy points.

This is so stupid... If you lose your connection, you have a fraction of a moment to reconnect, otherwise, you get suspended. Additionally, you lose the elo points for that match. Now, if you lose against a cheater who is reported and banned (the game informed me that he was banned), you don't get back the points you lost to the cheater. What kind of design is this? Every day, this game gives me more and more reasons not to be played.

One big problem i have with the balance team is that i feel like the small buff so many things like throwing knifes LH1 etc, That when people catch up to that they are good weapons everyone will use them same with APS earlier with medium.

If someone is already cheating by wall-hacking in a ranked match, achieving 28 kills all with one hit, and the opponent is live-banned while leading 6-0, but I still get penalized with -1200 points, it is incomprehensible to me.
add support for people whose teammates left the match for the world tour. it is absolutely impossible to play with two people in the final round against three people. add AT LEAST a faster and closer res than the full team. So that people don’t abuse this, make sure that these buffs come to an incomplete team if the third one is completely unable to return to the match

why do people keep posting here? its clear they dont care for this channel since look how many people asked to revert TA ranked and they still havent done shit to make the game better lol... terrible changes and decision making to change the core of the game....
bring back all maps into rotation
bring back cashout ranked, you can keep TA in the game but not as the MAIN ranked mode...
make cashout in final round 25k instead of 10k

- RPG > damage reduced DMG from 140 to 100, full damage only on direct hit
- Winch hook > remove from game, or rework it completely
- Mesh shield > Reduced HP from 750 to 700
- M60 > increase damage drop off range by 10 meters
- Lewis gun > clean up the recoil pattern to be less aggressive horizontally
- Charge and slam > reduce damage by half so you cant instantly kill M's, reduce cooldown. Should be more utility than 1 shot cheese.
Medium:
- Recon senses > re-add to game - rework to be a single ping like recon nades but originating from the player. 3 charges with a pretty long recovery time
- Turret > Add a attack delay of 0.3s so it doesnt instantly shoot if you are in its FOV
- Defib > Remove invincibility time after getting ressed
- FCAR > 3rd shot of recoil jumps way to hard right, reduce that horizontal recoil
- FAMAS > Increase damage drop off range, replace the terrible ironsights with RDS or holo.
- R.357 > increase damage drop off range and slightly lower reload time
Light:

Cash-out should periodically give cash over time in a couple of instances (ie: 3k-5k-10k). Many high ELO games just becomes stalling for first 75% CO the time.

remove the sledge hammer whos with me? stop defending the sledge hammer it does 200 dmg alt fire with no charge time and gamage is applied in an aoe it needs to be removed it requires no skill at all. for those claiming that it has a lot of charge time it takes 1.18 seconds to kill somebody in light class with it for reference most of the light class weapons cant even reach that kill speed and the weapons that can match it require every single shot to be headshots. so why does a weapon that the only down side is range exists its just annoying to get killed by somebody who didn't have to aim and all they did was just right click on there mouse an stayed near you
